Go ahead and make some money. Elevator Speech: “MAGAnomics is essentially ‘inverse BRICS.'”
Everyone who is a pragmatic critical thinker knows that China will: subsidize their targeted sectors and devalue their currency to lower the tariff impact of exports to the USA. Beijing controls the banks, and they did this before.
As a result, the dollar value increases and imports cost less.
The Chinese imports then enter the USA at a lower price consistent with Beijing’s cost estimate as a tariff offset. Chinese actuaries are really good at this. China takes in a lower price but retains access to the USA market. That’s just how it works. The importers pay the tariff with a lowered price with a higher valued dollar. Essentially stasis is achieved in a stand-off.
Then…..
EU industrial products to Chinese manufacturing plants start to contract due to China’s aggressive cost cutting initiatives. The EU gets angry about the impact to their economy and looks for alternatives. The EU then follows the same path as China and devalues their central bank currency; further pressuring the dollar to an upward price.
Exports to the EU are now more expensive, but imports from the EU to the USA are now cheaper. Again, the EU goal is stasis.
Both scenarios create cheaper USA imports despite the Trump tariffs. However, on the EU side President Trump then ends the Marshal plan and executes a program of “tariff reciprocity” against the EU. More frustration and gritted teeth by Brussels.
[NOTE: Avoiding this squeeze also explains why U.K Prime Minister Starmer was all snuggly to Trump at Trump Tower a few weeks ago – he’s hedging.]
Exports from the USA ultimately cost more because the dollar is stronger against EU and Asia currencies. However, a stronger dollar is an offset to BRICS leverage and allows Trump to play economic chess.
President Trump then uses part of the tariff income to underwrite agriculture exports, but… here we have fun… if agriculture exports are impacted, domestic foodstuffs drop in price.
Into this dynamic Trump turns to Mexico. We have a strong dollar, all those Western Union transfers to Mexico are more valuable. Leverage is created. The economic situation then overlays the secure border dynamic and if Mexico wants to retain trade access within the USMCA agreement, the part that no one ever discusses comes into play.
Unbeknownst to all except those who watched U.S Trade Ambassador Robert Lighthizer do it, under the USMCA trade compact the USA has first right of refusal toward any bilateral trade agreement made by Mexico or Canada. That’s correct, President Trump now controls a veto on trade agreements within USMCA partnered countries.
Right about now is when we can all smile, because I guarantee you there are dozens of financial trade experts who have either forgotten that Lighthizer did this, or just became aware as they pull out their USMCA portfolio looking for it. Oh, and there isn’t a damn thing the WTO can do about it.
Suddenly Xi Jinping is vulnerable in Mexico if Trump nixes the planned EV auto production investment. {GO DEEP}
Now, it is true that China likely evaluated this aspect within the USMCA in their American market analysis, but obviously determined it was worth the risk. However, with President Trump back in the White House, Beijing is financially exposed and very vulnerable on two fronts: (1) direct imports to the USA; (2) indirect imports to the USA through Mexico while Trump holds the USMCA sword of Damocles no one talked about. Big Panda not happy.
How do we know this will happen?
Good question. Answer: First, this is exactly what Trump did in 2017, 2018 and 2019 with great success. Second, because President Trump has said this is exactly what he is going to do.

Damn that wascally Twump!!!
China has long been a currency manipulator – doesn’t matter how it impacts the Chinese people – workers and consumers both. Trumps long game of protecting domestic manufacture/assembly and charging tariffs on goods imported is a strong policy that punishes those American corporations who fled the US to take advantage of China’s slave labor. Few Americans realize nearly all poultry, pork and beef produced in US is slaughtered, shipped to China for processing and shipped back (all by air). The FDA went so far as to redefine produced in America to accommodate this offshore processing. Personally, I don’t trust China’s environmental damage to risk my fresh meat rinsed with their water, handled by people pushed for productivity at risk of cross contamination and unclean processing. Who knows what chemicals they use to purify their water.
Nothing is as it seems.
Think of how much of the cost of producing meat products could be lowered not shipping the stuff back and forth. Possibly off-setting the higher American wages. (Hopefully paid to US citizens and not illegal under the table workers who generate the same hygiene concerns as the Chinese.
Buy local. More expensive, but at least you know what you’re getting. There are meat, poultry and seafood clubs you can join and get it shipped right to your door.
My dear friend from Louisiana would buy part of a side of beef every year from a guy that raised cattle on grass – he would get a freezer-full of all kinds of cuts, steaks, patties, roasts – he could actually drive past that pasture where the cattle were feeding on the grass – when he had leftovers that he hadn’t gotten to (ground beef patties) from the year before, he gave them to the lady who had a little trailer down by the bayou who had a stand (next to her trailer) from where she sold hamburgers, mostly – Cajun food truck.
Sundance, absolutely beautiful….

BLESS, you mean Bless!

Love this!
Thx for reminding us & prompting a genuine smile.
We why they all are terrified of President Trump.
He truly does “ upset the applecart “
Thank you for the education.
Cheers to all!

Cheers to all!
Don’t get over confident, just get people to vote.
Please remember, it is not the votes that wins, it is the ballots counted. Make it too big to steal.
We must still pray without ceasing for our president and our country, that we may turn back to God and His Laws!!!
Yes and also reach out to our Christian sisters and brothers who plan to not vote believing we in the end days and also believing voting is doubting God.
I’m sorry, but I cannot fathom the ignorance. Do they not know and have faith that God is at work through humans? Idiocy. If they lead us to lose this election …
The Lords’ Prayer says it all.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hollowed be they name. Thy Kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Believing his will, will be done is true faith. A person believing it’s end times has nothing to do with God’s will since no one but God knows, when end times will come.
They are not reading the entire scripture.
“Hallowed” not “hollowed” — but I get your drift!
I believe we’re in the end times, but also remember Jesus said “occupy until I come”, meaning don’t retreat into a shell. We’re to be involved and try to be a good influence.
God works through human agency. That’s one of the reasons we are commanded to pray: He makes us partners in His care of the world.
Consider this — we are citizens of two kingdoms: this worldly kingdom and citizens of heaven.
As citizens of this world we render unto Caesar what is Caesars. The coin. Remember the coin. We’ve been given the privilege and the opportunity — by God’s gracious design — to live in a country where we can gather together for worship and to vote for our leaders.
Should we disdain those gifts; should we behave as if to participate in our democracy is a sin, or evidence of a lack of faith?
Apparently some evangelicals are laboring under false teaching.
For the record, we have been living in the end times ever since Jesus’ Ascension.
H, hallelujah, hallelujah! Well spoken. God Bless ❤️🙏🏽
Bless you, WfH.
The mutual encouragement of our fellow redeemed is a sweet thing indeed.
I dont know too many who believe that bunk, thank God, but those who do are encouraged to think that way by secular leftists.
Good point, Liz-1.
“[B]y secular leftists” or Neo-cons generally, who seem all in for continuous warring.
Do you think it (that bunk) permeates the thinking of some because their thinking about the Last Days is focused on the “Rapture” and their hope of a 1000 year reign by Christ here on this dying planet?
Last night it occurred to me that such thinking could penetrate into their political views and dissuade them from “going against God’s plan.”
A recent book, “Resisting the Dragon’s Beast,” an easy-to-read study of Revelation, explores what it means for Christians to be living in days like we endure now; for me, it helped in orienting my thoughts away from my tendency to be anxious
Those interested in this timely topic, might want to look into it. Also, for those who’d rather listen, you can get the podcasted version on YT; the authors are still adding material. One author, one editor, both of them active pastors — Confessional Lutherans (not liberal leftists).
God Bless your journey.
Are they that checked out? Prayer and doing is our mandate from above.

Good to see you, Bob!
Thanks Patience.
Im up and down these days, but still forging ahead. Appreciate you all…..
The big money interest that don’t want any of this to happen will likely expose themselves in the fight to stop it. Check mate.
That is not to be under estimated. I affectionately call it the Scooby Doo Presidency. At the end of every Scooby Doo story, thevillain rips off his mask and says, “That’s right, I did it! If it wasn’t for those rascally kids and their meddling dog, I’d have gotten away with it!!”
He rips off the mask for us all to see. The Great Awakening!
The EU is raising money for the Ukrainian War by fining American tech companies hundreds of billions of dollars for nonsense monopoly and restraint of trade violations to benefit European tech like Spotify. So far, the European Courts (I’m shocked!) have sided with the EU finding Apple Computer, Google and Amazon guilty. The fact is that American tech companies offer the best products and services at reasonable cost to European consumers but that hasn’t stopped the extortion by the EU.
Hard to feel ANY sympathy for Apple, Google or Amazon.
I agree with no sympathy but they are robbing American companies of billions in cash to fund Ukraine and then Apple, Google and Amazon get to deduct it from the income tax paid to the US Treasury.
F em all! They had no problem getting rich while the Branch Covidians ruined small businesses across this country
Let ‘em burn
Our government is suing google for a break up due to monopoly (they say). In reality almost every PC comes with Microsoft edge browser loaded up for Bing. The consumer chooses not to use edge or Bing and downloads Chrome/google instead. This is consumer choice but the government doesn’t like it. Is Bill Gates behind this? He is so embedded now with the government.
I was about to say the same thing.
“Billions are at stake.”
TRILLIONS!!
Mea culpe: a synapse must have misfired.
Trillions as our host highlights repeatedly. 😊

When President Trump says America First, he means it.
The completely corrupt establishment in DC has willfully allowed the great and hardworking citizens of the USA to be the suckers for the rest of the world. It’s been going on for decades.
Thirty plus years ago, President Trump spoke about this in interviews with regards to Japan taking advantage of us. He’s now saying the same thing relative to China.
Shame on us for allowing this abuse of ourselves to have been taking place for so long. Thankfully we have President Trump and crew who woke us up to the abuse.
The ongoing transition may get a little bumpy at times, but Americans are going to be just fine. The corrupt establishment in DC and the Euro-weenies who have been leeching and skimming off of us for too long, not so much.
Here’s a 2 1/2-minute video of an interview from 1988 where President Trump discusses the US getting ripped off by other nations:
Wow! I had not seen that before.
He truly was onto the corruption even then! Countries being allowed to take advantage of us even then, 1988.
Thank God he is in the current race because it is patently obvious he was aware, sharp, and fully understood then, as now, that TPTB were/are weak.
God Bless him🙏

For an added treat – or threat depending upon one’s position – Trump has promised he will nix CBDCs. And he’ll bring in an updated A-Team to execute financial warfare. We will love it when this plan comes together. That I can tell you.
I know several people who have changed their opinion of Trump because of his views on Crypto. At first, they had heard that Trump opposes it (which is a lie). But once they learned that he only opposes the central bank control part, they change their tune. Clearly Trump is supportive of Crypto in general, while being against gov’t control, and most regular people who are interested in Crypto are finally starting to realize that…. and will vote accordingly!
That’s good news. Thanks.
He wants the government to hold BTC as an asset.
Most of crypto is tulips or beany babies
But from the industry technology will emerge that will produce dramatic changes
I own tiny amounts of certain types that may have impact OR go to zero. Had one do that already….☠️☠️☠️
“He wants the government to hold BTC as an asset. Most of crypto is tulips or beany babies”
Me, I’d tiptoe through the tulips very carefully. No one has ever explained to my satisfaction how to open my “wallet” once the grid is down.
“Washington owns more than $5 billion worth of seized bitcoin and has been reluctant to part with it. That may represent inertia more than strategy.”
U.S. is “owning” a lot more btc than it lets on!

Thanks SD! Time would be saved with the USMCA already in place this time around. Question- Do the Tariffs-China response, EU pressure and ending Marshall plan need to occur sequentially or can they be simultaneously implemented as in “all at once” in reverse?
I’m wondering if it’s not a case of dominoes.
Falling dominoes, that is.
Simply give the first in line (tariffs on CHI-NA) a nudge, and let “Inertia” do it’s thing.
Once more and more dominoes fall (and keep falling) those farther down the line KNOW their days are numbered…
Unless
ITA Laf but was hoping more could be done simultaneously or at least with short intervals between implementations so that anti-POTUS Trump entities can’t leverage more nonsense obstacles to run out the clock for term 2.
Point taken, swim
Implementation of
Reciprocal Trade agreements across the pond, while simultaneously placing tariffs on CHI-NA, sounds doable.
Seems Canada/Mexico are in the same bind wrt USMCA. There may be some “things” which apply to both that need some… 🤔
Attention.
You, of course, are correct.
Time is short.
No need to allow a bunch of dancing in the ring.
Pin them on the ropes and bring on the body blows!!
Have to admit…
A spinning backfist (or two) wouldn’t hurt either.
64d Dominoes!
Anything is possible with the right motivation…
Lol
LOL Laf!
That brings us back to your spinning backfist comment when the kitties are replaced by pandas haha.
Unless we get another idiot vandal like slow Joe or camel ho in the White House.
King dollar FTW.
I’d like to see him advance legislation requiring online retailers to disclose product origin – manufacturing and materials. Not simply assembled or designed in USA, but Made in USA.
Agreed, and not just online; I check everything and I’m so sick of seeing
“Manufactured for …”
”Distributed by …”
”Designed in the USA”
”Assembled in the USA”
like that’s somehow sufficient for those of us trying to buy the real thing. I’ve resigned myself that anything that doesn’t say where it is made is probably Made in China, always a no-go.
I’ve seen huge factories here in the US with American owners and only people from other parts of the world working on the floor.I can’t describe the contempt I feel for such people.
“Designed in the USA . . . by AI?”
Most righteous belly laugh
President Trump also said for the first time in yesterday’s rally that he will exercise the six-year-renegotiation-option in the USMCA to revisit the entire deal!
We get to see PDJT make that deal even better!!
I can’t wait to read Sundance’s exposes on that process and its consequences!!
tariff impact
I remember MSM headlines about how the economy was going to suffer due to deflation during Trump’s admin.
I see those false claims repeated often, despite the proof from his previous administration.
I miss Abe. He seemed to be a good friend to Trump. I love his body language and facial expression here-in agreement with Trump.
I watched a financial “Wizard” say that tariffs costs us more money.
Those “financial wizards” don’t shop or invest like us common folk…and their salaries are much larger…
This man is a GENIUS. Now you know why they hate him so much, because he is 3 steps ahead of them and is always out thinking them. And most of DC is inhabited by SMALL WEAK PEOPLE.
Great analysis. Big Panda got a Big Head. Big Panda forgot the USA is the customer. The customer needs to be treated with respect and as Stew Leonard said, Rule 1 The customer is always right, Rule 2 refer to Rule 1.
My favourite of all the photos from President Trump’s term is the one above with our president, Robert Lighthizer, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin…
All three doing great things for trade in the nation President Trump has given his life for. And for Americans whom he has fought tooth and nail at great personal cost to protect and uplift.
May it be so once again 🙏🏻

What did Mnuchin do?
He took part in the trade negotiations between the US, Mexico, and Canada (USMCA)
Deregulated small banks (under $10 billion) and initiated a deregulated banking network for credit unions.
Mnuchin set up a secondary banking system for small businesses and main street.

Hi Bet,I have to agree with our patriot Peter Navarro on PDJT. He is everything I envisioned Pat Buchanan would be, and more.

Thank you, Colkitto, for the link. Navarro has also paid the price for his loyalty to, yes, the greatest president in modern times…and I believe the greatest of all.
Busy day, and I have not been through the whole OT, dear friend. Will rectify that right now…bless.
I’d always thought of Freeland as dour. I’ll add sour! She must really liven up those Azov reunions. It’s a family affair.
You bet it’s a family affair, reed. She’s a piece of work all right and fits right in. A WEF fave.

Hi Betsy Thank you! –
good to see you too! It’s easy for me to misplace malplace/displace/peyton place myself here! 🙂
I tangentially wonder also, – what happened to the US Ambassador, the woman, the one that facilitated the firing of prosecutor Shokin conveniently timed to allow the flow of natural cash from Burisma to flow. I’m not sure that story has been told widely enough ( yet? ).
I need to remind myself to ask you about Wales 🙂
AMEN Miss Betsy! Let it be so!
NOCSWIS.
None can stop what is coming. Except God, if He chooses to.
Brilliant meme. I saved it and shared.
Trumps long term goal is import/export neutrality. The US is by far the largest import market in the world, China the largest exporter. That’s a huge wealth transfer from the US to China and every other country in the world. The goal is to force trade agreements to return manufacturing to the US by decreasing our imports to no more than we export on a country by country basis. Bring the export of our wealth, both material and intellectual, to a screeching halt.
Make America Great Again.
Especially in the heavy manufacturing area. NO nation is independent if they have to depend on other nations for their defense hardware.
America holds the “Trump” card. The market everyone wants to trade at.
We can thank George H. W. Bush and James A. Baker the III (the turd) for that lopsided arrangement.
May it be so. I won’t miss a few of the faces in that picture though.
As the dollar strengthens Trump should add a tax on those remittances to foreign countries to keep dollars in the US. It would dovetail nicely with his tariffs and efforts to encourage illegals to go home. It would also be a great source of funds to offset his ‘no tax on social security’ and ‘no tax on tips’ promises – give the money back to the American people. A 4% tax on remittances to foreign countries would pay for Trump’s entire social security tax break.
JD Vance has already put forth a bill in the Senate to tax every remittance sent to foreign countries. Of course, Chuck Schumer won’t bring it to the floor for a vote.
JD talks about this issue quite a bit on the campaign trail. He said a lot of illegal aliens would go home if they had to pay thru the nose to send money home.
I think it should be far higher; we’ve got a lot of catching up to do. While we’re at it, cut off all welfare and freebies to all illegals.
Thank you Sundance!
Loving the photos, too –
President Trump sitting over there with Merkel looking at her watch –
he IS the Eagle!
I love having this conversation with friends who repeat the worn out economic mantra of “tariffs increase prices.” I like to point out that, like most economic mantras that are just accepted as rules, in order to be accurate they should include the underlying caveat of “all things being equal.” In the case of Trump’s first term tariffs, all things were NOT equal. When I tell my friends that we now have actual real-life data that shows that when tariffs were imposed on Chinese goods their prices to US consumers actually went DOWN, that gets their undivided attention.
China had monstrous high profit margins on its products as a result of their dirt cheap labor costs. China was also terrified of losing its market share in the US market. So – China could both absorb the US tariff AND reduce their prices into the US market to maintain market share, which along with their currency devaluation and a strong dollar resulted in lower prices in the US for Chinese products. $10 Chinese sneakers at Walmart were now $9.50 AND the US government collected billions in tariffs on Chinese goods which we could use to subsidize US exports to China. Fact of it is, if Chinese goods were priced in the US consistent with their labor costs those sneakers should probably go for a buck.
I love the sound of democrat splodey heads in the morning.
Trump/Vance 2024
“That the Smoot-Hawley Tariff caused the Depression of the 1930s is a New Deal myth in which America’s schoolchildren have been indoctrinated for decades. The Depression began with the crash of the stock market in 1929, nine months before Smoot-Hawley became law. The real villain: The Federal Reserve…”

Always MAGA! Love our President Trump! 👊👊❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Something evil looking at arrogant Bolton and Merkel.
25 days
When the real President Trump and his team discuss economics, the world listens.
Ultimately, USA need onshore manufacturing of everything required to be industrially, economically, medically, etc, independent.
The biggest threat to this would be the EPA.
DoED is another problem. Many agencies do not serve American interests, and must be reigned in / muzzled, or abolished.
Ending the Marshall plan after 80 years.
Imagine that…
NATO needs to go also. One thing at a time though.
With the UN as well….
‘Bout damn time!
Love that picture, but the part I DON’T like is that I get kinda emotional knowing Abe is no longer with us.
Prime Minister ABE
WOULD BE
A VERY BIG ASSET for the MAGA / MAHA Agenda !
i MISS HIS WISDOM. GUIDANCE in the FAR EAST as an AMERICAN
May Abe’s memory be Eternal!

“A free people should promote such manufactures as tend to render them independent on others for essentials, especially military supplies,” said President Washington in his first message to Congress.”

Tariffs Made America Great
The economy has often soared under Republicans who protected domestic industry.

Have always been in awe of Lighthizer!.
Him & Navarro are Buchananites.
Council On Foreign Relations flunkie Clinton pushing China into the anti-American WTO was partial payment for the untold millions of illegal campaign dollars China put into the 1996 GOP Primaries and elections to stop Buchanan, & get their China pet Clinton into office again to finish off destroying America’s economic foundations

Slick Willie probably got millions $$$$$$ for doing that.
He did friend, see my below post about ChinaGate. It was done to make sure the PDJT of the 90’s lost the GOP Primaries. The GOP Uniparty traitors were in on it and to make sure they ran a real weak candidate against CFR golden boy Clinton so he could finish off American manufacturing in his second criminal & treasonous term
And then the 0bama loving puppet pullers said “hold my beer”.
What will President Trump do about the ever growing deficit Mr Sundance?
Cut government in half, cause rapid growth in GNP, and grow out of it rapidly.
neat side effect of potentially weakening the EU,

Regarding the post earlier of Trump being the deflation president and actual lower prices. There was the note of big ag exporting product that made the American consumer pay premium prices……..wasn’t exporting of agriculture products part of the cause of Holomodor under Stalin?
I think I read one of the reasons being Stalin wanted it to seem like there was overabundance under communism and he could export product.
No. Not an overabundance at all. What Stalin was doing was stripping the Ukraine of it’s wheat harvest and selling it at cut rate prices on the international markets to try to destabilize westers (and especially US) agricultural sectors. Pure cut-throat politics on Stalin’s part.
“A tariff is a tax, but its purpose is not just to raise revenue but to make a nation economically independent of others, and to bring its citizens to rely upon each other rather than foreign entities.” Pat Buchanan
“After the War of 1812, President Madison, backed by Henry Clay and John Calhoun and ex-Presidents Jefferson and Adams, enacted the Tariff of 1816 to price British textiles out of competition, so Americans would build the new factories and capture the booming U.S. market. It worked.”
And will work again.
Thanks. Glad to know these facts can become common knowledge
Excellent article and really fun pictures. 🙂
Doesn’t he just look like a pill?
I wonder how many hours a day he spent in preening that stupid ugly-ass beard of his.
Wow, talk about a defeatist attitude Majes.
It is absolutely possible if we all do our part. What have you done? Are you at least planning on voting?
If you live in a swing state, talk to your friends and family, make sure they are registered AND that they have plans to vote.
If you live elsewhere, you can make phone calls, send postcards or simply donate to one of the groups chasing ballots and registering voters. PA chase, TP action, Scott Pressler. If voters integrity is your biggest concern donate to true the vote. Any of those would appreciate a donation no matter how small.
It is a fair point made by each of you. I live in the bluest of blue…it’s so blue, in fact, that it’s hard not believe they used my state as a decade long beta test for 2020.
It’s what it is, and I can’t help but think that if DJT does walk into the White House it’s because the power elite need someone else to hold the big pile of economic effluvium we all soon may be swimming in.
Yes, I am a cynic.
That’s a lot of moving parts to get right in a forecast.
Do you sell gold or buy gold on a Trump election win? We know what you do if Heels Up wins. What say you?
You sell gold. Trump will stop high inflation and the decline of the dollar, which are the two biggest reasons for the rise in the price of gold.
I love this site. SD, you are an amazing human being, Man, Constitutionalist, historian AND economist.
I wish everyone could see this and understand that President Trump is a lot smarter and deeper than, “Oh, what mean tweets!”
I’m in blue Connecticut this week and the electoral here can’t see past wanting to vote for a woman (such a stupid reason). God help us.
First things first…and that’s ensuring that Trump will win on November 5! I have a high-traffic road in front of my driveway so I put up a BIG (6′ x 4′) there last weekend. MD is a deep blue state so I know it’s likely the sign will be stolen or defaced…so I have a second sign at the ready in case that happens!
I can’t get the picture to appear so here’s what it says:
FED UP?
FBI swat teams raid the homes of civilians
Elites in our Congress overspend by the trillions
Our citizens jailed without charges for years
By a rogue DOJ pushing lawfare and fear
They’ve opened our borders to drug lords and thugs
And shut down our pipelines and told us ‘eat bugs’
They’ve given us wars that are bleeding us white
And wonder why soldiers aren’t willing to fight
Or take orders from men in red lipstick and dresses
While our doddering president makes absolute messes
Of Afghanistan, Ukraine and all that he touches
Then blames his disasters on Putin and Russia
VOTE TRUMP
Wow. Great positive attitude. /s
