Why would she she lie or be so out of step of what is happening that most of us know? This is obviously a shadow war going on as several Chinese scientists have also disappeared from the public.
The “right” question to ask is : who is capable of quietly “disappearing”

This administration never likes to admit incompetence. Otherwise Bondi wouldn’t have lasted so long and of course there is still Patel and we had “shocked to the core Bongino” which usually requires a little explanation of what exactly shocked you dude. So the CIA can’t figure out how to protect some scientists with the billions we fund them with?

Sec’y. Bessent had no difficulty abandoning the no Social Security tax nonsense, in favor of more accurately naming the limited deduction available for some seniors (which depends on filing status, incidentally.)
Why Karoline continues her unhygeinic practices is a mystery.
When I completed my returns the other day, Turbo Tax wouldn’t let me e-file because my refund was more than income… I was like WHAT??? Turns out, we were getting $24million and change refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was freaking out. All through the completion of the return, the refund was in thousands, but after running it through the check for errors, somehow, TT decided to change some stuff….
Took me an hour to sort it out and was very annoying. We didn’t get all of the taxes paid back, which I still don’t understand, but it was better than getting nothing and having to pay… like last time 🙂

Don’t know where you get your “facts” from but, here in Florida we have both new transmission and distribution poles and wires going up and in service.

Retired Magistrate here: Here in Delaware County, Ohio they are replacing electric infrastructure that has been in place since the 1930’s, trimming trees, putting switches in that if one part of the system goes down the entire system does not go down, using drones to spot trouble on lines and doing other things to improve power availability.
During the last big wind storm/thunderstorm we had about a month ago, the lights flickered numerous times, but the power held. In the past we would have been without power for several days or more. Around here bridges are being repaired and highways widened and repaired. I think it depends on the state that you live in and the area of the particular state.

Yes, even here in small-town/rural Ohio, new electrical lines are being buried, new high-voltage towers are being and have been erected, freeways and bridges are being repaired or replaced, etc.

A very important and expensive bridge was just built near me to replace an aging bridge that was at the end of its useful life. And our main drag is scheduled for a major facelift this summer. In addition, the local interstates are undergoing much needed repairs to the chagrin of many commuters. The cost of all this must be in the billions.
No taxes back for me except state, however, my ss is not taxed so I can’t complain. That includes my state not holding federal taxes from my retirement. Did enjoy a little back from the gov but enjoy having more each month even better.
