First he never had any range as an actor. He always played the same character and judging from his real life speaking yesterday that persona is essentially his own- tough guy with a temper.

Second, look at him. He is slovenly, not fit, has a belly protruding, and is poorly dressed and groomed. ( He also wore an N-95 mask when not speaking- LOL).

Third, he had to read the very short speech he gave. I don’t understand that. As an actor hasn’t he learned to memorize lines? Can’t he speak from the heart?

Fourth, he has aged poorly and I never realized how short he is. Too short for a leading man without elevator shoes.

DeNiro HAS BEEN an excellent actor; however, his performance outside the courtroom reveals that his CURRENT ability is diminished. He should stick to what he does best, and it ain’t political commentary.

I can’t really provide a good analysis because I haven’t watched a DeNiro movie in a long time as a direct result of his rants agains common sense and his extreme, extreme political stance for everything that is anti-American. Additionally, he took millions in Covid money-hell, he’s still wearing a mask (gimmick). I can only vote on his behavior with my dollars, so I won’t watch his movies.
