He must know that nothing is beneath the hyenas that torment him and that they would relish the opportunity to arrest him at his son’s graduation ceremony.
I like to think that President Trump has chosen to spare his son and classmates, along with their families, any possible humiliation that they might need to endure because of their presence at such a vulgar spectacle.

The judiciary has become a joke. It has failed/refused to check itself and its agents. Judges act as dictators, delivering punishment without any way for those being punished to be protected. Judges routinely abrogate the rights of the People as outlined in the Constitution. Being able to appeal is not enough. By the time the appeal is heard and possibly reversed, the uncorrectable punishment has already been suffered.
The entire judiciary needs to be reorganized. I think we need a new topic to be included in putting the reins of government back in the hands of the people. And I think this cause needs to be put at the top of the list.
The entire US justice system should be shut-down and reconstituted with all new judges and DAs, AGs, etc. All current judges and DAs etc. should be investigated and fully audited to find any illegalities such as pay for play from political parties, activist groups, corporations, etc.
I think it will take more than just replacement. As you said, the whole system needs to be reconstituted both to remove protections for those who wield it like a sword in the hands of a tyrant and also to protect defendants from liars and ideologues. The appeal process has been shown time and again to be inadequate. There is a saying that “justice delayed is justice denied.” Fail safe provisions need to be designed to stop the miscarriage of justice at its inception, not after the damage is done.

Judge Marchan’s jurisdiction does not extend to negate the higher court’s jurisdiction. I would file a motion requesting leave just to set the predicate, but if Judge Marchan denies the motion, I would attend anyway and force the New York courts to demonstrate their arrogance and corruption by putting and keeping him in jail for attending an oral argument before the higher court concerning a matter in which he is the appealing party.
