As a precursor, I am suggesting to all site admins (Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Weed) that we begin instituting stronger commenting moderation controls; not to limit speech, but to eliminate distracting agenda voices. The reason for this is simple, I can see “control operatives” on these pages.
It’s not hard to see because they, some might call them online trolls – I prefer to think of them as DHS compliance officers, all use four basic elements of construct that are not usually visible amid our openly honest community:
- They pretend not to know things.
- They are arbitrary in the extreme.
- They are capricious and combative.
- They are intellectually dishonest.
Time and communication bandwidth is at a premium for me. You will soon understand why in this tech space of my geography, it is more efficient to communicate publicly.
Now, with eyes-wide-open, let’s address the nonsense within our fellowship. Train yourself to see this stuff, and you will develop a level of instinctual awareness that will drive the DHS folks bananas.
[As a general baseline, RFK Jr. is an intelligence community asset and operation. All of the assembled data points in this direction. In short, the RFK Jr. tradecraft is visible; start from that assumption, and everything makes sense.]
Pay attention to what KEITH writes. Note the arbitrary, capricious and intellectually dishonest framework.
“To get the Nunes memo declassified, both President Trump and Devin Nunes used the leverage of FISA-702 reauthorization to force the IC to declassify it. If the ODNI, FBI and DOJ did not agree to declassify the memo and make it public, then 702 would be allowed to expire, and the IC would lose their currency”
Trump should have just ordered it declassified. He was the president after all. He didn’t have to placate the ODNI, FBI, and DOJ. If anyone in the leadership voiced an objection Trump should have used his trademark phrase “You’re fired!” on them.
RFK is right. Trump should not have reauthorized FISA 702 but he allowed people around him to manipulate him into capitulating to the deep state. That was the root of Trump’s major failings as President. He never was able to put his hands on the reins of power. Would Trump do better in a second term? Did he learn his lesson? I don’t think so after seeing him commend Speaker Johnson at Mar-A-Lago on the “good job” Johnson was doing just hours after Johnson cast the tie vote to re-authorize FISA 702. (Comment Link)
Keith may be new, or Keith may be acting intellectually dishonest as part of his pretense. Regardless, all of these issues have previously been covered in depth on these pages; therefore, I view Keith as the latter – intentionally dishonest.
{GO DEEP (problem) and GO DEEP (solution)}
There is no entity outside the Intelligence Branch, and yes that includes the President of the United States, who can supersede the classification authority of the Intelligence Branch. {Go Deep} and {Go Deep} This is something 99.9% of the people on our side get totally and frustratingly wrong.
No one can declassify, or make public, anything the Intelligence Branch will not agree to. Doubt this? Ask Ric Grenell, John Ratcliffe, or even President Trump himself.
• The classification process is determined inside the Intelligence Branch, all by themselves. They get to choose what rank of classification exists on any work-product they create; and they get to decide what the classification status is of any work product that is created by anyone else. The Intelligence Branch has full control over what is considered classified information and what is not. The Intelligence Branch defines what is a “national security interest” and what is not. A great technique for hiding fingerprints of corrupt and illegal activity.
Similarly, the declassification process is a request by an agency, even a traditionally superior agency like the President of the United States, to the Intelligence Branch asking for them to release the information. The Intelligence Branch again holds full unilateral control. If the head of the CIA refuses to comply with the declassification instruction of the President, what can the president do except fire him/her? {Again, GO DEEP} How does the President replace the non-compliant cabinet member? They have to go through the SSCI confirmation. See the problem?
Now let me move on to DHS officer ACE TWITTLY:
“Trump has reauthorized Sec. 702 of FISA when he was President and Nunes has just recently co-signed a letter encouraging the Congress to reauthorize Sec. 702 of FISA again.
They are all playing us.
And by the way, the Sec. 702 is not a problem; a total lack of accountability certainly is. Nobody prevents the government from prosecuting the intel. contractors and firing people at the FBI for the unauthorized use of the gov. databases. They just don’t do it.
The judges could sanction each FBI lawyer for lying to the court. Did they do that? No, they didn’t. Why?
It’s a big corrupt club… and they all hate us.” {Comment Link}
Again, notice the elements of intellectual dishonesty, arbitrary and capricious commentary pretending not to know things.
Nunes did not “recently co-sign a letter encouraging Congress to reauthorize Sec. 702 again“. Genuine Treehouse readers know the letter that Mike Turner lied in the construct of a letter, apparently the letter cited.
[Source]
If the 702-reauthorization bill that passed the HPSCI committee vote is as bad everyone says it is (which it is), and if the bill completely ignores the reforms that were suggested and advocated for by Kash Patel and Devin Nunes and others (which it does), then how does Kash Patel reconcile his former boss Devin Nunes supporting the bill per Mike Turner?
The reconciliation to this dynamic is found inside the issue I have written about.
Mike Turner is lying about the support from John Ratcliffe and Devin Nunes for the HPSCI FISA-702 reauthorization bill. Ratcliffe and Nunes do not support the Turner construct.
But wait, if that is true (which it is), then why are Ratcliffe, Nunes, and by extension Patel, silent about Turner’s false support claims?
The answer…. Institutional preservation of the HPSCI compartment, and a desire for access therein.
Yes, that is correct. They will rage against the outcome of the institutional endeavor, but only so far as the value of the institution itself must be maintained. Ratcliffe, Nunes and yes, Kash Patel are functionaries of the system. Their sense of identity is dependent on the system.
The CIA director, NSA director, ODNI, FBI Director, etc are not in charge of the compartments they represent. They are simply functionaries -middle men- who operate in the space between where the compass points are directed, where the data originates, and oversight of that data that is ultimately filtered and delivered to the functionaries, who then brief the representatives…. who then create policy… albeit flawed policy…. based on a very specific, controlled, compartmented and skewed information flow. (more)
The value of Kash Patel’s institutional currency is connected to his access – even with Republicans in charge. The same is true for Devin Nunes and John Ratcliffe.
The institutional leadership, those functionaries in control of the compartment (silo), can block access to the silo thereby devaluing the career currency of other functionaries. The DC preservation system is contingent upon this process being retained.
Nunes, Ratcliffe and Patel will not speak honestly about the Mike Turner outcome – specifically as it relates to the conniving manipulation therein (ie. it’s a f**king lie) – because they would run the risk of being ostracized from the HPSCI compartment from which their value is determined.
The institutional corruption is retained, yet they rail against the outcome of the institutional corruption. See the game?
If this were not the case, Mike Turner would be directly confronted, the lies and manipulations exposed, and a very serious battle would take place publicly.
Unfortunately, that public battle is viewed as too risky. As a result, the corrupt DC functionaries operate without any accountability, no corrective action takes place, no accountability is metered out, and WORSE…. the oblivious general public cheer on the people like Patel who give the illusion they are railing against corruption.
For those who choose denial and pretending over the brutal reality of the example expressed, your criticism of me is irrelevant. The truth exists regardless of your comfort level.
Accepting you are an abused victim to professional gaslighting, manipulation and Machiavellian deceit, carried out by those who claim to be your allies, is painful and unnerving. However, failing to accept the reality of the example cited only retains your status as a victim, a codependent enabler, a battered conservative.
It is a remarkable dynamic. Many people can see how the functionaries played against President Donald Trump this way, but they cannot see how they, themselves, are continually being played.
In Twitter File release #8, the basic outline showed how the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. State Department (DoS) worked with the social media platforms to amplify messaging and create specifically anonymous government accounts intended to spread propaganda globally. [Twitter File Release #8 Here] The government then asks the platform engineering side to boost the messaging of the government accounts and use the internal tools to promote government users. Essentially, social media propaganda.
There is no reason to believe this effort was/is limited to Twitter. Additionally, now they have AI to assist along with 1.1 million previously dormant defense department IP addresses to activate accounts from.

House mouse Mikey Johnson opposed renewing FISA, until the intel gestapo took him to the SCIF and showed him, his unwarranted 702 file. The Schumer “seven ways from Sunday” evidence changed his position
Exactly what I tweeted about. Anything those cowards already did is logged and batched. What concerns me most is that everyone in that sphere appears to be compromised & untrustworthy.
This might also explain Mr. Trump’s personnel issues. I’ve attributed bad choices to him, but maybe they were reliable until a similar situation unfolded & they were “shown” reasons to do as they were told. I don’t know. But the whole thing appears rotten.
Very frustrating.
Or maybe not actually guilty of anything BUT shown photos or other created “evidence” that would be released accusing them of something they couldn’t disprove.
Yes, very frustrating and also somewhat depressing.
As my grandmother said about all politicians, no matter how honest when first elected, if they are reelected they have just become a common thief.
This was in the 50’s when Kentucky was mired in corruption, and still is, just not as open now. I think got my distrust of all government agencies and officials from her.
Actually, I think they showed him a really big $$$ check $$$ with a job at a Washington DC think tank when he is booted from his SOH job in a few months!
Do you think Johnson and his wife want to go back to Tippy Toe, Louisiana?
Plata o Plomo.
Nothing changes until the intel community is revamped. They most likely showed him scary terrorists intel. that he had no other choice.
I hate to be negative but who can we trust?
The Speaker needs to get rid of Mike Turner as chairman of the Intelligence Committee. It is so obvious who is working for. It is not for the good of the USA, but for the good of the globalists.
Mike Johnson has to realize how the intelligence community lies to get what they want. I hope President Trump told him that and I hope he believes President Trump about the lies and not Mike Turner.
Without going through all the replies ( and if answered please point me to the post ) The Original question – Taking what Sundance says as a fact , with black lined emphasis , that RFK is an Intelligence Community ASSET And OPERATION-
What is the purpose < objective , endgame , strategy of the Intelligence Community’s RFK Jr Operation? – I don’t think Sundance gave an opinion as to that ?
ok saw back on page 2 – same question and several listed answers – and each one different _
Actually , since Sundance made the statement I wish he would settle it and say what he sees the IC hoping to achieve by this RFK operation –
I think that is a fair question to ask unless we are playing the ‘ little grasshopper ‘ thing from the old Kung Fu TV show combined with the Socratic teaching method
Seems to me pretty obvious,…anti-Trump.
First thing that came to my mind too.
I coon make a comment but I won’t …
You think ? ? But Thanks for answering for Sundance , I’m sure he appreciates you pinch hitting for him .
But kind of a routine , generic ( dare I say , simplistic ?) answer DYT . Everything IC does is anti Trump , even us slow learners know that much, I would venture to say
Detailed strategy context would be the enlightening part , maybe Sundance will answer for himself unless you have been deputized by him
Fairly certain Sundance answered this in one of his posts back when RFK declared he was running.
Well maybe he can refresh it as it is becoming more pertinent now …( but I’m not so sure about the How part -see below )
“Actually , since Sundance made the statement I wish he would settle it and say what he sees the IC hoping to achieve by this RFK operation.”
Sundance already answered that in his first post about RFK….
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/10/18/intending-to-fracture-growing-black-support-for-trump-robert-kennedy-jr-announces-support-for-reparations/
Short Version: Because the polls back then were telling RFK that he would hurt Trump’s chances to win, not Biden’s. The whole purpose was to “Get Trump.”
Let me make it a little clearer for you Dutchman –
The WHY part is easy – because if IC involved, as Sundance says , it is anti Trump- that is the easy part – obvious …
The HOW part ( as in HOW will they do it ) – what Sundance calls ‘ tradecraft “- is the harder , more important /interesting question – one that I would like to hear Sundance’s input on ( and if you don’t mind, really no need for your guesses / opinions actually )
Welcome to moderation…..
💥
“Get ’em outta here”: PDJT
Who is “in moderation”?
Nycjoe.
Decided to offer himself as an example of what Sundance just told us not to tolerate.
I really appreciate the real life example of What Not To Do from NYCJoe. For those who did not understand what SD was talking about, “Joe” offered himself up as a clear example.
They keep exposing themselves time and again.
Like those clean cut, Khaki short, golf shirt, stock Ray Ban wearing crew cut bozos marching as if they are patriots……
We do live in a very poorly written B movie at the moment…..
I stood in line for 4 hours to see Trump on Saturday and not one single person in that line of 42,000 looked anything like you described. That description screams FBI.
Does that mean banned?
Amen
Spill over from the gateway pundit 🙄. A bit snarky. Thank you Stoltz!🙄🙏🏻
The Hoft brothers are questionable actors
Thank you, Ad rem.
Ad rem rocks!!!!!
Can you explain why a man with a federal badge and uniform stormed at RFK Jr months ago all over the news? Then Biden continued to refuse Bobby secret Service. Why?
You seem overly offended when everything nowadays is as the kids say-Sus
Suspicious. If RFK is tradecraft what side is he on?
Why wouldn’t Biden give RFK Jr SS protection after this?

So, every single comment must be prefaced with IMHO, apperently.
Or, if a question is addressed “to Sundance” does that mean no other commenter is ‘allowed’ to weigh in with an opinion?
Less correspondence with .gov trolls would be helpful too.
It was pretty easy to see from “their” initial comments.
My wife was a kindergarten teacher for many years
Her favorite saying was:
Play Nice, Children.
We should remember that we are all in this together.
My guess is he will allow them to pretend that a large portion of votes for Trump are votes for RFK jr. The splitter strategy and the vote swapping strategy combined. Without a 3rd party candidate it wouldn’t be possible.
No other purpose but President Trump! The question is from what angle?
Drawing off votes?
Getting RFK2 on the Trump Team?
I think hoping to entice Trump voters into voting for RFK instead.
But I think most polling shows him taking more votes from Biden.
That’s a flaw not a feature 😂
True now but polls just showed RFK pulling from Trump when RFK entered the race.
I seem to remember all the talk and “polls” that were showing rfk taking votes from President Trump. I always thought that anyone who actually believed that needed their heads examined.
I’ve thought about this RFK Jr. thing as well and of what Bernie Sanders did- and I think we’ve got the remake of that show going on.
RFK Jr is the new Bernie character so that a large voter block feels like they have somewhere to go and something to do and a place to donate all their money.
Bernie created a cult following that was a fiercely loyal, angry people mad at the establishment, he brought in piles of money and created a large voter block that was a force that demanded to be heard and listened too.
Bernie tapped into a whole lot of real hot button issues back in his day. It was Bernie Sanders in Vermont that was the one that got this serious crisis of drug addiction out of the closet, and into the national conversation, this then launched him into the spotlight.
In a similar way, RFK Jr taps into the very same types of people likewise pissed off at Vaccine harm, the Covid scam, environmental harm upon people.
BOTH Bernie and RFK Jr have taken on drugs, vaccines, chemicals, corruption and the harm it’s all done to us with the same sort of people, both groups equally mad at the same topics.
What RFK Jr is becoming, so was Bernie back at one time.. Bernie was an alternative for a very large group of people that wanted out of the two party system.. I think Bernie could have won actually- we all know what went on.
So whatever was achieved and gained by all that they did with Bernie, they aim to do the same thing with RFK Jr.
A Bernie supporter would be today an RFK Jr Supporter.
And believe me, as someone from NH, I can see this to be true.
I watched many people during the NH Primary that were Bernie people then become RFK.Jr supporters.
RFK Jr had a decent ground game in NH in the areas where Bernie won here.
Nothing good would come of electing either of them.
Great analysis
Maybe RFK was kept around by IC to use when they needed him. I think IC does not want Joe, but they are leary of eliminating him and being seen doing it.
This seems plausible.
Think incentives, then imagine what those are.
Polls are showing that West & RFK are taking Biden voters. So what is the point of Bobby?
There was a news story months back that some one approached RFK Jr disguised in federal uniform/clothing/badge. Then the continued no secret service that Biden won’t authorize.
It all seems weird and fishy, to what end is beyond me…
I can’t say that I know anything, but too often using a term like “intelligence community” conveys the wrong impression. We think of “intelligence” as information-gathering.
It’s not- not anymore.
That is automated. Humans are needed for operations. Its a numbers game, I think. Peel off a few supporters here and there, and maybe the odds are improved for another type of operation.
I didn’t use that term Sundance did in his description above –
You’re right, it’s not intelligence gathering. It’s become very personal and pointed. Calling it intelligence takes the personal out of it, but it’s a lie, a cover. It’s very personal and very human.
Whether BobbyJ is a recipient of this intel or a target 🤷🏼♀️
There is intelligence gathering, and there are covert operations. Manipulating elections is a covert operation.
RFK’s only purpose on the ballot is to add the appearance of a “viable” third option on the ticket in all 50 states. The Deep State who rigged the 2020 election know it would look terrible if they blatantly stole the swing states again in the exact same manner. So they are preparing a different path this time.
When they fabricate the votes this time in certain states, they’ll split off some from Trump’s actual votes into RFK’s bucket. So the stolen 2024 election for Biden won’t look so egregious to independents and moderates. Take Pennsylvania. I’d bet money this strategy will be employed in Pennsylvania and likely Arizona.
^^^This!^^^
Best theory I’ve heard yet.
This makes the most sense. Quite sadly…
Trump used the Giuliani playbook to become president by shifting from the ranks of Kennedy Democrats into Reagan Republicans. RFK jr could pull votes from Trump’s Blue-Collar-Republican/JFK-Democrat base. What this old tin can sailor is more and more amazed at each day is my naivete. I actually believed all of that “truth, justice, and American Way”, “Constitutional Republic” crap trap but now wake up each day to a new Santa Claus or Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy being unmasked as a lie.
Ronald Reagan was right and prescient about that our country had no more than two generations from being unwound. and that the “9 scariest words in the English language” really are “We’re from the government and we’re here to help!”
Then RR gave us amnesty and a stab in the back.
Isn’t it obvious?
It should be obvious that RFK Jr is a fraud. He is on record saying that anyone who doesn’t believe in man made climate change belongs in prison. He also hasn’t stated that Covid was an IC operation. Instead he just focuses on the covid vax, which in itself promotes the idea that there really was a pandemic. Then look at his VP pick, a 30 something lib. Anyone who thinks RFK is anything but an establishment asset needs to reconsider.
There are additional points to consider regarding Executive Order 13526 regarding classification and declassification of government documents.
The first is the fact a President either wrote the thing, or had it written while agreeing to the contents over time until the document was ready for publication. In any event, a President wrote the Executive Order, making it the order of the President about how classification and declassification was to be done in the Executive Branch. There is no Presidential Appointee or permanent bureaucrat above the President, who runs the Executive Branch.
On his way out of office, Trump declassified a number to Trump-Russia documents, with some made available to the media immediately. Once Trump was out of office, no one attempted to indict and arrest him for that action rather than waiting for Trump to send 15 boxes of “stuff,” none of which he reviewed prior to the shipping, to the National Archives so that all the documents with classification markings could be sent on to the National Security Branch of the Department of Justice to kick off the “Mar-a-Lago Documents Case.” Why wait two years? If it was “illegal” for Trump to unilaterally declassify those documents, once he was a private citizen again, he was fair game for DOJ to come after him. Some of the memos declassified are discussed here:
https://justthenews.com/accountability/russia-and-ukraine-scandals/obstruction-boomerang-fbi-knew-comey-firing-was-planned
Under Section 3.5 of Executive Order (EO) 13526, Mandatory Declassification Review, we see that the President and Vice President are Exempt from Declassification Review. Yes, I know people will reference the statement about “the incumbent President’s Staff; committees; commissions; or boards appointed by the incumbent President; or other entities within the Executive Office of the President” suggesting that the intelligence agencies are outside the scope of Paragraph b of EO 13526 since they are not “committees, commissions, boards,” or “other entities within the Executive Office of the President,” but they are under the Executive Office of the President because all of those agencies are part of the Executive Branch of the government of the United States, and are thus under the authority of President with advice and consent and oversight of the Congress. Which is why Trump was not touched after declassifying the Trump-Russia documents the day before he left the White House, nor arrested for making much of their contents PUBLIC once he became a private citizen.
There are Constitutional scholars who have stated the position that the President can declassify any document any time the President decides to do so.
“The President has the authority to declassify any document. In 1999, for example, President Bill Clinton used the conclusion of a TS report from the President’s Daily Brief prepared by the CIA in a meeting on July 4th with the Pakistani Prime Minister. He asked permission from the Deputy Director of the Agency just before he used it. In my eight years in the White House with four presidents, it was the only time I witnessed a president declassify a report to use with a foreign official.”

NARA refused to archive them when they were submitted a few days before Jan. 20, 2021. Mike Davis says he could waive his hand and declassify, and anything he took with him were automatically declassified. He doesn’t need to announce it. Think about the warehouse full of documents of Obama, Bush’s etc. No chalkenge to them.
NARA sent docs to new Admin early on and NEVER archived the Declassified Docs he did publicly. It was a set up of their timeline in 2021 to enact the plan in 2022 .
It was all about him running for election. They planned out all 5 cases against him in 2021, Fani case. NY cases, etc, all were planned close to the announcement, they had to wait so they had enough time to indict him in election year. They didn’t expect some courts, Appellate and SC, f’ed up their schedule.
Jay Bratt of the National Security Division of DOJ, and who originally led the grand jury investigation of the “documents with classification markings” on them (“marked documents”), has admitted in Judge Cannon’s courtroom that there is no real evidence of Trump’s employees at Mar-a-Lago playing a shell game with boxes containing marked documents by moving them around. Bratt told the court he didn’t believe they would have to have any evidence. The defense attorney keeps demanding some reasonable evidence should be produced. How could they have arrived at Probable Cause without some evidence of some kind? The fact is the documents found during the Search Warrant execution were in the locked storeroom (75 marked documents) while 27 marked documents were found in Trump’s office, which I believe were the Trump-Russia documents, for the grand total of 102. No documents found in the frequently cited bathroom or in the boxes on the stage of a ballroom, and none of the documents had labels to determine what might be in them. The judge should kill the Obstruction indictment since there is no evidence to support Smith’s “theory.”
I wonder about Bratt’s competence. Bratt meets with Trump’s lawyers and one asks how the storeroom could be made more secure. Instead of advising they immediately turn over all boxes for the DOJ/FBI people to rummage through, “someone” advised them to add a lock to the door. Those people are presumed to know how to secure a location to hold Top Secret documents telling them to put “an extra lock” on the door. If I was their lawyer, I would argue a reasonable person would think that, by adding a lock to the door, the storeroom would be an authorized location to hold the marked documents given who just told me to add a lock.
Bratt sent a grand jury subpoena asking for only marked documents. Smith takes over the case and suddenly there is an UNMARKED “national defense” document as Count 11 of the indictment. Bratt never put in any verbal or written demand for such documents. If you don’t ask for something, where do you get off punishing someone for not giving it to you?
It’s pretty clear that the president has unilateral authority to declassify. Obviously, the president could not be bound by a previous president’s executive order, But that executive order by its own terms exempts presidents and VPs from declassification review.
On a well-run staff, the Chief of Staff has administrative procedure to deal with things like a President unilaterally deciding to declassify something. The staff would remove/line out any markings and cite the authority. That this doesn’t seem to have happened I put on the Chief of Staff for running a sloppy staff.
Election interference ….. Trump had none of his current troubles until he announced he was running.
Will start reading all the comments now and if obviously suspicious cross tracking past comments to see the pattern. Not all spider crawlers are bad.
FUDHS
What spider do u use.
Sundance- seriously, you need to install a mandatory subscription for people who want to post. It is insane how many posts you get on each article you write. Make them pay and maybe DHS will stop infiltrating.
Because the government could never conjure money out of thin air to fund an online astroturfing campaign, right?
You can’t use money to lock-out the people who literally control the flow of that money.
For now, human moderation efforts appear to be the #1 solution. AI can’t handle this kind of work, and I don’t know what other options the Treehouse crew has at their disposal. Maybe there’s some way to cut out IP’s from Langley? lol
Requiring payment will weed out everyone but the infiltrators, because they are funded.
I think maybe a more useful tool would be a date along side the posters name indicating how long the poster has been a member.
To be honest, I could tell reading Keith’s post he was not a believer, but that revelation did not come from mishandling facts. I do not remember all the nuances of who did what when, so I will never be able to always pick out the meddlers.
But if this fellow had a date next to his name, that might be a useful tool, for me anyway, to be able to weight his comment.
“Requiring payment will weed out everyone but the infiltrators”<<<<This
..but don’t forget to donate from time to time.
I set it to automatic.
CTH is my first outlay every single month without fail.
If Sundance notes that bills are coming due and funds are needed I’ll double or treble that on the spot.
If CTH wasn’t one of the most vital epicenters for MAGA the Derps wouldn’t spend so much effort on it, it deserves all our support, think of it as War Bonds, except that it doesn’t go into military contractors’ pockets and the rewards are much greater.
Double Amen. Monthly CTH donation & church donation are high priority and equally important.
A tithe for the honor of having a branch in the Treehouse.
Bad idea- American Thinker did that and comments dropped in both number and quality , left with couple of hardcore repeaters getting their money’s worth, I guess and paid trolls – BTW if they can send billions to the Ukraine they could certainly find a few pennies to pay for infiltration privileges – would be strictly chump for them …
Yes, history has shown, and we can look to the various activities in the run-up to the 2020 election for examples, that the Communists have deep pockets to fund many operations, and operations far more costly than influencing a small corner of the internet.
Back when I was a moderator elsewhere on the internet, the trolls/operatives would buy ‘memberships’ to gain both credibility and greater access to the private messaging system (which CTH doesn’t have) to spread their message below the surface, besides coordinated operations on the visible forum.
I view this arena as a battlefield in the information war. Opposition and guerilla warfare should be expected. The good news, for peaceful people, is, so far, everyone emerges vertical and breathing, unlike real physical kinetic conflict.
Things can become annoying or frustrating or maddening or pick one’s own adjective, but it’s easy to turn the page or close the lid or step back and do something else. That’s a choice too 🙂
I agree. AT was one of my regular ( daily) reads. When I had to subscribe to post I stopped reading regularly as I got frustrated not being able to post.
The infiltrator will get paid anyway.
Very true, and theycomments virtually dried up and the few that remained were basically repetitive …
Thomas Lifson was threatened with a lawsuit by Dominion, and agreed to publishing “false claims [about election fraud] that had no basis in fact” to head off a suit.
Strictly my opinion, but I think his idea to initiate subscriptions was always a goal, and he used this as a pretext for going ahead. It ruined the site for many former regular readers. I feel sorry for him.
NYC- I have to tell you that I may be one of those hardcore AT people you refer to. I really like that publication and I think that many of their writers think very highly of Sundance.
The nice thing about subscribing, more so than being able to comment, is that there are NO ads.
I wonder if here’s any way that Sundance could do something similar here. Subscriptions aren’t cheap either.
I suspect if Treepers decided that we’d all faithfully offer a regular Tenth of a Tithe to CTH that there would be no need for ads at all.
Ad dependence exposes CTH to Goolag’s manipulations, only Treepers can make up the difference and free it from such constraints.
Bingo
The early discussion of subscriptions here began when Sundance was outlining how comments were being reviewed by Google for wrong speak and trying to make the blog accountable.
I beleive the thought was if it was not “publically” expressed much like the passworded articles that it would be ignored. Not sure I understand why that would matter to DHS but Sundance seems to have some faith in passwords so perhaps there is merit to subscription protections.
I have no doubt however that it would throttle back
commentary.to some extent. What ever Sundance decides I am in.
If he does then sadly this will be one of the few daily pleasures I have that I’ll have to give up. In these tough times I doubt I’ll be the only one.
No ads here for me. Never had them.
Exactly. Townhall, Twitchy, and the others in that group did the same thing, (The Blaze charges to comment and to vote on comments but will at least allow you to read them for free) and I’m guessing they lost a lot of their readers. I know I left because I only have a small amount of money to live on, and if I had to pay for everything I like to read I wouldn’t have money for much else.
I disagree. Many truly conservative blogs require a paid subscription to participate in the forum, via posts. CTH should do the same and get rid of the questionable people on this thread. I’m looking at you NYCJoe
Soros pays activists to troll.
Hardly.
But boyhowdy wouldn’t the Derps love to push CTH into a subscription model to stifle the conversation and suppress the views.
So much so that every voice pushing to close comments completely or put them behind a paywall appear to be voluntary self-outings.
I think it is insane, in a good way, how many people feel free to post on this website. One of the “rules” of posting on this website long ago, were to read everyone else’s first. I know I am too impatient to do that. That is my problem, not Sundance’s.
It is always good reading, but when they get over 300 or so comments, it has to be a “what’s happening where you are” for me to have time.
And give up our privacy in the meantime. Suuure. 👻
Sundance has said many times he will protect the privacy of Treepers at all costs. If you actually read here you would know that. 👻
No.
Sundance, In addition to the four examples you cite, trolls often monopolize entire pages, entire threads, furthering their own point on a frequently completely irrelevant topic. I often see these, and with a lot of repetition. These conversations lead one to skip these little personal conversations, or long drawn commentaries.
It is an abuse of the opportunity you provide.
I was trying to figure out what was different about the comment section lately. Before people would post something relevant to the topic Sundance was writing about to increase the community’s knowledge, and maybe do a follow-up post to clarify something, …and that was it. You are exactly correct about the “personal conversations” taking place now, many of which are inane and provide no value to the CTH community. If people started accidentally doing this, forgetting where they are, they ought to ask themselves #1] am I contributing something of value to the CTH community? and #2] how frequently do I post/comment? I have been visiting the CTH for about 7 years now and will post something of interest a few times a week, while occasionally commenting on another member’s post. I would guess that my maximum number of contributions (posts + comments) during a given week has never exceeded 10.
Sooner or later the Truth always speaks for itself. It always happens sooner on Conservative Treehouse.
U.S. government is a fck’n corrupt mess. I see no easy fix when so very few can be trusted to act in favor of those they swore an oath to serve.
I could go on about how politicians are the lowest scum of the earth, but I think that has become way too obvious as of late, everybody already knows that without any doubt. And that’s where the pain of it all come from – everybody knows yet nobody does anything to change it. A rigged system that can’t be repaired because repairmen are not allowed anywhere near it. Every day, waiting for a sign that maybe some strategy was discovered that might allow us, the People, to regain control of the government that the Founding Fathers set up to be controlled by the People. That is the uneasiness that I feel every day, and I’m sure a lot of other people feel that same thing. Seeing a big problem that we know we have a constitutionally legal authority to fix yet the problem is so big it has destroyed any means we used to have to fix problems. WTH do you do? I default to my “trust nobody” status, which does nothing to fix the problem, just takes a little bit of the sting away.
Maybe the uniparty marxists will poke the Russian Bear one too many times and the problem will get hypersoniced away. Wouldn’t that be an easy D.C. fix? lol
Consider picturing Goofy and Mickey side by side flipping these folks off!!
Good call Treepers-you can smell the lack of genuine concern in Keith and the like.
Holy mackerel, SD, you are scaring the h*** out of me.
Then I remember the power of The Holy Spirit.
Man, I don’t know what to say about this last post by “Sundance”. I certainly agree with most of his argument. In fact, I’ve come to the point where I know “just enough” not to trust ANYONE (including Trump, by the way). It’s “trust, but verify”. Actions speak truth, while words deceive (which is mostly why I support Trump now – he’s imperfect, but he’s walked his talk in most of what he’s done).
However, if folks like Radcliffe and Patel are defacto agents of corrupt “big government”, even if only by condoning the lies to remain inside the intelligence/knowledge framework, then America really has no hope of returing to a Constitutional republic, a country where law and order and honest elections trump emotion, passion, and Machivellian (a.k.a. sinful, evil, demonic, “ends justifies the means”) motivations. I already have no candidates on the ballot that I can unreservedly support (even if most or all American elections are fraudlent; a vote is still something). This news takes “trust no one” to a whole new, very dark level.
The essential problem and solution lie, as our Founders intended, with us. Without a House that represents the People, without a Senate that represents the States, we find ourselves hoping we can overcome a rigged election system long enough that one great man will turn the tide.
For most Americans this is a velvet tyranny. CBDC will forge digital shackles of slavery. What then? What if? What are we prepared to do, to sacrifice, that we and generations to come can live free? Few in the West even realize it is a death march.
Patriots Do Not Flinch

TY for posting that Declaration of Patriot Independence by Sundance.
We shall come by the gas stations,we shall come by the Markets, We shall come by the roads, walkways, the highways, the mountain paths.

We shall come by wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and gurneys. We shall come in the sun, rain, wind, ice and snow.
We SHALL come to save our country for what God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.
I just want to state that the “Keith” who wrote the comment Sundance discusses so extensively is NOT me, Keith Harbaugh.
I did not make that comment.
Don’t feed the pigeons
Don’t feed the orcs
Don’t feed the trolls
Our country is at war. The good guys are fighting an enemy who has infiltrated and weaponized our institutions.
I do not believe Patel and Nunes are some low level functionaries. They are both top level officers in this war.
When President Trump developed the Space Force, I was scratching my head wondering why he would think we need a new branch of the Armed Forces. It didn’t match up with his desire to get our country out of the forever wars. Over time I realized he needed a new independent Force in the war being fought.
Our country is at war fighting an enemy from within. I believe the military is divided with portions aligned with NATO and the bankers. They are the ones forcing our blood and treasure to be spent ensuring the bankers continue to gain power and control across the globe.
Other portions of our military are made up of honorable Patriots who are living up to their oath.
Those living up to their oath are aligned with President Trump and the MAGA movement. The MAGA movement’s goal is to make America Great Again for all.
I believe and have heard the current war being fought involves military and non-military citizens home and abroad. It is being fought both home and abroad as it is a global takedown.
It is my understanding that we are winning.
My point in mentioning all this is to point out that things may not be as they appear.
Any FISA stuff at this point is possibly a trap being set. As mentioned here before, they are going to spy either way. FISA just gives it the appearance of being legal.
The good guys can use FISA too, especially in a case of a MASSIVE criminal conspiracy against our favorite President and all his followers.
Guessing FISA processes will be needed to take down the criminal cabal.
“The good guys can use FISA too, especially in a case of a MASSIVE criminal conspiracy against our favorite President and all his followers.”
Where’s the fundamental “foreign” premise in that “criminal conspiracy”?
You know – the “F” in “FISA”
Or are you suggesting the “good guys” just go ahead and use FISA illegally and corruptly, as anti-Trump forces have?
just a question that occurs to me, no offense intended
Nimrodman, think about it just a bit.
Kathy Chung and Patrick Ho (Biden Crime family, 1 hop)
Debbie Wasserman Schultz to the Awan brothers. 1 hop
Bill Clinton to Jeffrey Epstein to Ehud Barak (2 hops)
Nancy Pelosi to Paul Pelosi Jr. to Ihor Kolomoisky (2 hops)
W Bush to Bandar Bush to Bin Talal Al Waleed.
Nobody in the cabal is greater than 2 hops away from foreign agents.
We don’t know what we don’t know but, yes, FISA can go both ways, and that’s a weakness that can be exploited.
ok, gotcha
you’ve thought deeper into this than my quick glibness
thx
Indeed.
The good guys can actually pursue warrants.
“In the very heart of Turkey, Cappadocia boasts a distinctive landscape. Otherworldly cone-shaped rock formations have been slowly but steadily carved by time. But beneath these unique oddities of nature lies a testament to human faith:
The cave churches of Cappadocia are a remarkable proof of the ingenuity and resilience of early Christians. They remind us that faith can flourish in even the most challenging environments. These hidden sanctuaries continue to inspire awe and wonder, offering a window into a bygone era – when faith was literally carved in stone.”

Keeping comments pithy is wise and consistent with CTH’s recommended recipe for commenting.
Multi paragraphed comments / diatribes with hyperlinks are passed over by me.
You would have missed regitiger’s post about the Joint Session of Congress on January 6th. It was pretty long, but didn’t have any hyperlinks that I can recall. Regitiger asked a few questions, so when I answered them, I had hyperlinks. IF you are going to claim what you write is factual, you better have the receipts. Sundance repeated the article a couple of times which included such “multi-paragraph posts with hyperlinks,” so I don’t think length and links have much to do with Sundance’s decision.
If you passed over such posts on that thread, you missed a lot.
My statement may be naive, but I have a strong feeling that President Trump is playing their game in order to have the same opportunity available to use against “them” if he regains the presidency.
As far as the work around to get his choices approved, his people in power, his will to be done, is it possible that M. Flynn has the necessary information to shut down the gang of 8, SSCI and all others planning to again thwart Trump’s grand design? There was another. By the name of Ezra…(?), is it possible he is also working towards these same goals?
I strongly feel the bluster, loud calling of being a victim and the strutting very vocally isn’t a honest representation of the President Trump many have known over the years. It’s as much a persona as we all have with a task, it mostly helps get stuff done, while behind the scenes the true nature is calm, cool and collected.
Ezra Cohen-Watnick is an American intelligence official who served as the acting under secretary of defense for intelligence during the Trump Administration. From my research Watnick is the guy who would go into a country incognito and helped us win big battles, he worked in the “field” with Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, prior to serving in the Trump Administration.
Wilbur Ross, Investor and US Secretary of Commerce during the Trump Administration:
“Underestimate Donald John Trump at your own peril.”
Still rings true today.
Stay Frosty!
Yes, prior to leaving office, President Trump delegated authority to the under-secretaries. He also brought Special Forces up to the same level as other commands.
I believe in the current war, these under-secretaries are still in charge. SECDEF Austin is just a useless figurehead. That’s why no one cared when he was out of commission for several days without anyone knowing or caring. I believe it was brought to our attention to send a signal to those paying attention. Big picture, we are not operating under normal order. Something unique is taking place.
Yes, stay frosty!
Ezra Cohen-Watnick……oh, yeah, that guy…..
He was the guy that General Flynn put into a position of power because ECW pretended to be MAGA. When the Deep State targeted Flynn, ECW got pigeonholed into some meaningless desk job. I suspect it was DJT who authorized it. BUT, that was for good purpose. He was the “intel operative” who was feeding secrets to Mike Cernovich. Cernovich then used those secrets to twist DJT’s arm into doing Cernovich’s bidding. Cernovich at the time was making a name for himself, claiming to have an inside source, and there were things he knew about that he shouldn’t have known about.
I think how they caught ECW is, when Trump was going against Syria, next thing you know, Cernovich and Alex Jones started screaming to the high heavens about how Trump was going to invade Syria with 500,000 troops. I think they fed ECW fake news to see where it came out. Those three partners in crime got all the MAGA rubes into an uproar over the fake news. Everybody was talking about jumping off the Twump Twain over the issue. The whole thing was just so ridiculous. It was shortly after that both Cernovich and AJ claimed to not be Trump supporters anymore (if they ever were in the first place). I think they just got embarrassed over having been played for fools.
Those guys screwed it up for everybody else. Trump had tried giving non-MSM media types like AJ and Cernovich and others a leg up in order to give some competing voices to the MSM, but after the stunt they pulled, Trump never mentioned that policy ever again.
ETA: Take note that Sundance was one of the few who didn’t swallow that koolaid being sold by Cernovich and AJ, which is just one of the very many reasons why I give SD’s voice so much weight.
FISA works both ways.
Thank you, Su Gall, for the reminder. It was asked during a discussion who would be a good VP choice. One of the criteria was that he/she be greatly feared by the Deep State to insure the longevity of DJT. I can’t imagine a better choice to satisfy that requirement than Mike Flynn. He would be a Deep State nightmare.
With all the information that Sundance provides us I feel like I need a scorecard to keep track of who the good guys and bad guys are on any given day.
I find it confusing, frustrating and infuriating to find out that people are often not who they pretend to be.
You know what they say- fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
I just want to say thank you Sundance, and also how much I appreciate you (and Menagerie, Stella, Ad rem, and Weed).
I often don’t understand everything you say, and have trouble keeping track of who is who and what is what. I have memory issues that make that difficult. I will endeavor to be extremely careful in future comments to avoid anyone trying to shut down the Treehouse.
As long as we are all on our best behavior, and being careful, the bad actors should stand out more. And others who are more discerning can help the mods.
By the way, looking at the date joined isn’t relevant. I’ve been reading g here for years, rarely posting anything.
One can forget a password from years ago and still be relevant again. Thanks for not excluding people like me.
Sundance has been a go to for in depth info for many over the years. I am one of those.
I will never put my faith in any of the CONgress Criters, ever.
JFKjr. Is a spoiler. He seeks justice and a way inside the swamp. No matter who he throws under the bus, he has never been effective and it’s likely way to late for him to get anywhere now.
Likely he is a marked man.
The truth can be hidden
But it never can be destroyed and over time it gets more exposed and it cannot be defeated.
The 🤡 in charge think they can beat it.

Lord please keep us whole and safe from these …. Well use your descriptive wordsmith
I kinda like Ps. 109🙏🏻🤠
Taking away our last shred of hope, was a very courageous move .
We will now see how small the remnant really is.
Keep sifting, Brother.
Love and peace to all.
Back in the good ole days, you didn’t get the warning…pages of comments were disappeared immediately. So just feel lucky you are being tolerated just so others can still post to the forum. Sigh, Sundance has grown a bit older and wiser and has enduring patience with the whole bunch of you rascilly rabbits that pop onto the forum to cause havoc. Just maybe I have said toooo much… so be wise and thoughtful when you come to play at our treehouse 😛
I’ve found that the best way to deal with suspected trolls is ask them a well designed question that hands them the rope.
If it’s a troll, they’ll hang themselves in the response(s) fairly fast -revealing this for all to see.
Sometimes this is a very good form of “DIY Moderation”.
I need to learn the art of this, both for this site and others. I don’t suppose there is a way you can teach the art without teaching the AI…. So at least, maybe I can ask, are you trying to get them to expose themselves to the moderators, or the more naive readers like me?

Channeling Reagan…
I’ve noticed that everybody that is against Presidential Immunity benefits from immunity themselves.
very good!
It’s nice when they sign a document attesting to their corrupt alignment. One hopes that the information might prove useful someday in one way or another.
Now I get it, SD. Thanks for laying it out. We are still challenged with building a bench for future representatives, judiciary and executives. Where and how will be important. Your excellent research and analysis expose the problems. Now how to move forward……(with and after Trump).
“Their sense of identity is dependent on the system.” Tom Wolfe used to say he was so insightful because he based his analyses on status. These political types live and breathe status, and the idea of being removed from these status-granting positions and offices is worse than death.
Currently we can flag a comment. I interpret that to signal “inappropriate content.” To me that would include extremism, violence, over-the-top attacks or profanity, etc.
Just an idea but perhaps you could experiment with allowing Treepers to mark a special type of flag to identify a suspected Troll, Fed, State-sponsored Intelligence Assets, “Sock-Puppet,” trojan-horse, entrapment, etc. Make it a running total rather than just on/off, similar to the total “thumbs up” vote. That way the more people who call out a particular post as being fishy it will be more visible to the Admins and everyone as fitting the pattern. It would need an immediately recognizable icon, perhaps a dagger, “Men in Black” sunglasses, handcuffs or such.
How can anyone, even DJT, succeed in making any meaningful reforms when the classification/declassification game is so one-sided and rigged? (And the rest of the insanity is simply making me dizzy.)
How is it possible to win?
I’m just simply commenting on SD’s opening paragraph.
I’ve been reading along and following for quite a few years, but sadly was not nearly as well in-tuned as the tea party who saw the signs on the wall at least 5yrs+ before I even had a clue. I’ve never been one to act upon my agitation and volunteer up my opinions as I am no wordsmith and the long time posters at this blessed site have already stated better than the I than I could ever state. I agree with SD at least as far as what I have been seeing over the past year or so. The comment section has been interrupted by agitators trying to stop the free flow of thought provoking conversation that are on topic, by trying to steer the direction away and create divisions that simply do not exist here in this branch.
Because this is only my 3rd or 5th actual post over the years, I would not take it personally at all if you blocked my post. Just please don’t block me from being able to read my daily dose of TCTH because I look forward to getting the inside baseball that I cannot find elsewhere.
Thank You for all you do!
Your’s truly
Elizabeth
P.S. if ad rem would email me a post office box address, I will send you a much larger donation. I wasn’t raised the same as most, as my parents were 3 generations my elder. My father a twice war veteran. Once under conscription and again in the reserves at retirement age and he taught me that if there’s a window that is up to you to open and close to resist opening it up in the first place if you value your liberty at all
Moderation has been part of this place for a long time. I have had posts moderated several times. I get informed by email when something I contributed is approved.
Well then what do you suggest we do about it?
I wouldn’t know any of this without you.
Thank you, very much. May God be with you always.
thank you for the heads up Sundance
I suspect that a lot of the Meatball diehards that were suddenly very far right on abortion, that continue by accusing Trump of being the swamp…
Are operative provocateurs.
Can someone explain to me why Ka$h is still pushing Q punisher merch? Why there is a group still pushing the Q nonsense? Why Nunes, Ratcliffe, Ka$h are all TS and it creeps me out to read there much less post there?
I think the interwebs has gone into information brownout and people are just getting flat-out paranoid and now they’re seeing secret government around every corner. Might I suggest a two-week internet break, and go out and mentally reconnect with the real world, talk to actual people? Go get an ice cream, or something. Blessed be.
Sundance and mods,
You all do what needs doing. We understand why you are doing it. These are no garden variety trolls you’re dealing with.
Thank you for defining what we should be looking for. I often wonder (mostly on other sites) if I am arguing with a bot, and in some cases if there are any real commenters at all!
I will say I find it difficult to keep straight which is which of the government agencies I have not personally worked with/for, and there are a lot of names in the government who I remember to distrust but I don’t remember why. But I think I, and most real Americans, know what we don’t know and don’t talk all that authoritatively about it. (Repeating talking points that sounded good at the time, yes. Continuing to fight when we’ve been shown otherwise, no.)
So, the simple truth is the DS/IC has a stranglehold on this nation, and patriots are screaming into the darkness about heinous governmental malfeasance, the remedies to which are theoretically possible but immensely difficult to achieve.
Nothing done by the DS/IC, no matter how outrageous, unprincipled, or constitutionally prohibited, should surprise any reader of the content presented on this site, where truth and pain are inextricably intertwined.
Regrettably, each time I “Go Deep” or “Go Deeper,” the flames of this governmental hell feel hotter.
You should mark these DHS officer’s accounts with some kind of brand/label, so the rest of us know whom to easily look for.
Eventually they’ll be held to account for their crimes, but in the meantime, a label can help everyone learn that there are names behind these IC deception/MDM programs.
A quick note….. you wrote:
“1.1 million previously dormant defense department IP addresses”
But, DoD IP ADDRs are well known and are segregated from the Internet in their own .mil segment.
Anyhow, here’s an interesting tidbit about those internet addresses owned by the DoD:
https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2021/04/pentagon-explains-odd-transfer-of-175-million-ip-addresses-to-obscure-company/
IMO, a major target in all off this is CTH credibility. I have always believed that to destroy a man’s credibility is to destroy his most valuable asset. That’s what I believe the mission of these “compliance officers” here is…to destroy our credibility. They will fail.
Unfortunately, some sincere and long-time CTH posters may unintentionally be assisting these compliance officers by not following Comment Guidelines ourselves. We do this when we post rumors or other supposed items of fact without even a modest attempt to verify them ourselves that the facts are correct. Seriously, it should be rare that posts begin with either of the lines, “Is this true?” or “If this is true….”
