The backstory is so transparently corrupt it requires an explanation, so we’ll go down the full rabbit hole and explain how China knew – to a demonstrable certainty – their multi-billion dollar investment in Mexican EV plants would be useful.
Always remember, there are trillions at stake.
First, who was installed in the Biden White House in charge of all personnel and staffing? Catherine Russell. {SEE HERE} Who is Catherine Russell? She’s the wife of Tom Donilon, a long-time aid and advisor to Joe Biden who served in the Obama White House.
After serving as Obama’s National Security Advisor (prior to Susan Rice), Tom Donilon then went on to become “Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute {SEE HERE}.” His job was literally to “leverage the firm’s expertise and generate proprietary research to provide insights on the global economy, markets, geopolitics and long-term asset allocation.”
In essence, the Donilon family represented the interests of Blackrock in the White House.
Second, Tom Donilon’s brother, Mike Donilon is a Senior Advisor to Joe Biden {link} providing guidance on what policies should be implemented within the administration. Mike Donilon guides the focus of spending, budgets, regulation and white house policy from his position of Senior Advisor to the President.
In June of 2022, Blackrock’s Tom Donilon was then appointed to be co-chair of U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Affairs Policy Board {SEE HERE}, in charge of U.S-China policy. Can you see where this is going?
Blackrock, a massive multinational investment firm with assets in the tens-of-trillions, was essentially guiding/constructing the policymaking of the White House, through Tom Donilon, Mike Donilon and Catherine Russell (Tom’s wife). Blackrock then took out massive investment stakes in China, including in the Chinese auto-making industry, with specific focus on EVs. Tom Donilon, now shifting to the State Dept and guiding US-China policy, was the Blackrock government embed, ensuring policy that would keep their investments lucrative.
Next up, in late 2023 the Chinese auto firms carrying the Blackrock investment money, then made big announcements. “BUSINESS INSIDER – Three major Chinese EV companies are planning to build new factories in Mexico, sparking concern among US officials, according to a new report. MG, BYD, and Chery are all looking at sites to build new factories in the country, according to unnamed sources cited by The Financial Times, and this investment is causing angst in Washington.”
The total investment in Mexican auto plants, specifically to build Electric Vehicles (EVs) for the USA market, exceeds $5 billion. A very big investment considering that EV sales in the U.S. were not going so well.
So, think about it, what did Blackrock know about the USA EV market: (a) that defied current market conditions; and (b) that would support such a move by the Chinese auto manufacturers they financially supported?
Today, we get the answer:
(Politico) – The Biden administration is unleashing a flurry of regulatory actions that aims to shift the nation toward electric vehicles — with the biggest rule coming Wednesday to set strict limits on climate pollution from passenger cars.
The regulation being announced by EPA Administrator Michael Regan, as POLITICO’s E&E News reported last week, would slash greenhouse gases from cars and light trucks in half, while pushing to have electric vehicles make up about two-thirds of new passenger vehicle sales by 2032. (read more)
As noted in a second Politico article:
The final version of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Cars rule is the strictest federal climate regulation ever issued for passenger cars and trucks — even though it offers manufacturers a slightly slower phase-in of pollution limits than the EPA had first proposed last spring.
The agency estimated a year ago that the rule could lead to two-thirds of new cars and passenger trucks being electric in 2032. Wednesday’s version says automakers could build a mix of vehicles to comply with the rule, including fully battery-powered vehicles, plug-in hybrids that run on electricity and gasoline, and more efficient conventional engines.
EPA Administrator Michael Regan’s official rolled out the rule on Wednesday at a Washington event attended by carmakers, environmentalists and other groups.
President Joe Biden said the rule fulfills his promise to cut the nation’s carbon pollution in half by the end of the decade while promoting American workers. “Together, we’ve made historic progress. Hundreds of new expanded factories across the country. Hundreds of billions in private investment and thousands of good-paying union jobs,” Biden said in a statement. (read more)
Biden is a blithering idiot, a pretense, a false target. Biden reads what people tell him to read; he’s not the origin of the feces he spouts. Silver Spoon, “lunch bucket” Biden has no clue, and his Blackrock handlers keep him that way. Biden can tell the U.S. auto manufacturers anything; he has [¹]no clue what the actual policy being constructed is all about. The Biden family will be paid handsomely, either by the Blackrock group or by the Chinese -as is the background record.
So, let’s encapsulate things so far. (1) The interests of Blackrock determined the White House key staff and policy makers. (2) The Donilon clan represented those Blackrock interests and worked inside both the White House and State Dept to create and maintain policy favorable to Blackrock’s Chinese EV position. (3) China/Blackrock invest massively in Mexican EV production. (4) White House/EPA generate policy to support the Blackrock investment.
That’s how the three Chinese auto firms could be so sure of their decision in 2023 to invest in the Mexican Blackrock EV plan. The one that President Donald Trump rightly says will create a “bloodbath” in the U.S auto industry.
It is not the politicians; they are functionaries.
What I am saying directly is that Blackrock is the origin of the policy, and Blackrock is the beneficiary of the policy.
This is what I mean when I keep saying, “there are trillions at stake,” and “it’s not the politicians we should be looking at.”
In 2008, it was the SEIU who were the foot soldiers for Barack Obama. In 2009, SEIU President Andy Stern was the #1 visitor to the White House. The SEIU needed to get rid of the healthcare liability inside their pension plan because the union was about to go broke. That’s the origin of Obamacare. In 2024 Biden is manipulating the UAW leadership into the same position, looking for election help.
But wait, it gets worse…
Blackrock is in control of policy. Now look at where Blackrock investment has been pre-deployed, and that’s where you see Biden policy coming into play. Blackrock and JPMorgan set up the Ukraine reconstruction bank {SEE HERE}. That’s the core of the Ukraine issue. It’s not ideological, it’s financial. Follow the money.
But wait, it gets even worse….
Have you followed my research on the Russian sanctions?
2022 – NEW YORK, March 24 (Reuters) – BlackRock Inc’s (BLK.N) chief executive, Larry Fink, said on Thursday that the Russia-Ukraine war could end up accelerating digital currencies as a tool to settle international transactions, as the conflict upends the globalization drive of the last three decades.
In a letter to the shareholders of the world’s largest asset manager, Fink said the war will push countries to reassess currency dependencies, and that BlackRock was studying digital currencies and stablecoins due to increased client interest.
“A global digital payment system, thoughtfully designed, can enhance the settlement of international transactions while reducing the risk of money laundering and corruption”, he said.
[…] In the letter on Thursday, the chairman and CEO of the $10 trillion asset manager said the Russia-Ukraine crisis had put an end to the globalization forces at work over the past 30 years.
[…] “While companies’ and consumers’ balance sheets are strong today, giving them more of a cushion to weather these difficulties, a large-scale reorientation of supply chains will inherently be inflationary,” said Fink.
He said central banks were dealing with a dilemma they had not faced in decades, having to choose between living with high inflation or slowing economic activity to contain price pressures. (read more)
Now do you see the source, origin and beneficiary of the global cleaving?
The U.S. government didn’t construct the Russian sanctions, Blackrock did!
Blackrock lays the foundation for the Dollar-Based U.S. Digital Currency (USCBDC) with the construction of Russian sanction policy. How is that US-CBDC process facilitated in real terms? With the five big US banks controlling the flow of the digital funding mechanism.
RELATIONSHIPS – Larry Fink (Blackrock) and Jamie Dimon (JPMorgan) created the Ukraine Reconstruction Bank. Now, there are only two real threats to the creation of a US-CBDC as it currently appears. Threat #1 is Donald Trump. Threat #2 is the way people would work around the dollar based CBDC, unregulated crypto currency.
Who opposes crypto currency?
“I’ve always been deeply opposed to crypto, bitcoin, etc.,” Dimon said in response to a question from Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. “The only true use case for it is criminals, drug traffickers … money laundering, tax avoidance because it is somewhat anonymous, not fully, and because you can move money instantaneously. “If I was the government, I would close it down.” (read more)
Can you see it now?
I’ll have much more on this issue soon, but its critical people start to understand what is going on.
We will win this battle and eventually this war, or I’ll die fighting it.
They are trying to move fast, because people are catching on now.
We are on the right side of every issue; we cherish liberty and individual freedom. Our opposition is built upon a foundation of fraud and lies. The politicians are corrupt, and their arguments collapse when put in the sunlight; but they are not the root of the problem. [²] They are vessels. That’s why the multinationals like Blackrock need the rules and referees (politicians) slanted in their favor. That’s why they need censorship, deplatforming, and beyond everything else…. they must control information.
…The key battle right now is an information war.
Support Our Fight Here
[¹] [²] Now do you see why they built him a stage..
EVs will not be adopted en masse. If production is forced, the result will be low sales, and if pushed further will mean that people will eventually be forced into public transportation and be restricted in their travel – all of which is part of the many idiotic goals of the insane globalists. What all that will bring about is, well, let’s say kinetic confrontation. In the meantime, while wealth is once more being forcibly transferred from the taxpayers to the already wealthy, there will be yet more societal damage.
That’s not what will happen. Suddenly, enormous attention will be placed on “used cars,” including those now sitting in “junkyards.” An entire “used parts” industry will appear, along with endless web-sites (except those quashed by The Government as somehow being related to “TikTok”) showing you how to keep the car in motion.
Meanwhile – the entire domestic car industry will implode.
And then, inexorably, “Father Time” will once again begin to intervene. One by one, starting with “Poor Joe,” these “world decision-makers” will die. And, with them, will their decisions.
But: history lessons tell me that the actual result will be one-or-another form of “revolution.” Because, at the end of the day, hundreds of millions of people have to “drive to work.”
We will all be Cuba
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
God help us all!
Funny thing over here in Never Never Land (Britain), so called vintage cars are exempt all these stupid restrictions – for now.
They pay no road tax and are”allowed” to drive in these low emission zones
Consequently they are in big demand.
I will never, ever get rid of my truck. I can fix it myself, and have the parts to do it. Its almost at one million miles.
All they need to do is restrict gasoline. I remember the gas line days.
…buy a 63 Triumph TR3 and an old Land Rover!
It’s my dream!
Back in 1980, on Roswell Road, I found an old TR3 that had raced at Road Atlanta for sale for $1000. Engine had more cam and sounded meaner than my 68 GTO. It also had an electric overdrive and Detroit locker rear end.
I couldn’t afford it but my friend could and promised to give me first dibs if ever sold. He took it to Connecticut and destroyed it. 🥲
You have good taste in styling. Reliability???
When you fall in love with your first car it’s not because of reliability! LOL
Maybe we should all invest in shops that repair V8 engines.
Cuba: They still use horses to pull passenger carts for public transportation on their highways. Plus hire people to flag down any car on the highways that still has room to force them take more passengers along with them.
It is not all boss-looking older Detroit metal on the Cuban roads – that is just for the tourists. Real life is still on manure power.
saw the movie Arthur the King last evening and
when seeing the shacks in the Dominican Republic
(which is next to Haiti) I thought that this is what
the United States will become.
It has always been about eroding our way of life.
Maybe.
You would be amazed at the number of modern wrecking yards that scrap right away.
Even if we wanted those used parts, they are not available.
You can buy that scrap back as a CCP EV.
Remember Obama’s Cash for Clunkers in 2009? He was setting the stage for taking as many older vehicles out of our hands, and he was pushing,”Here’s this affordable car full of chips that will be good for about 150,ooo miles maximum” BS!
If they ban gas, I will just harness a pair of horses to pull my truck!
Buy a diesel Land Rover or Mercedes. They run on No 2 home heating oil.
Golf carts are looking better and better every day. 🤣
please post photo!
That was because older cars could not be tracked like cell phones.
Now all cars can be tracked and easily. I have had two Subaru Outback’s,
one 2012 and one 2019 and the stuff I have learned is crazy! All because if I don’t drive it every three days it won’t start. So many issues about it even the key fob continues to talk with the car. I have to keep my keys in a faraday bag, I had to get a much bigger battery and add a mini solar panel trickle charger just to make sure it doesn’t die.
Maybe some enterprising fast-thinkin people will see an opportunity to open wreckers businesses.
Or, as many of the western oligarchs prefer, those hundreds of millions can just die.
What work?
Will all be driving 55′ Chevys like they do in Cuba!
The revolution needs to be on November 5 with 150+ million votes for Trump and the MAGA Patriots running with him. By the time all the unclassified evidence is unleashed, much through legal presentation at all the upcoming trials, anyone supporting Marxist Dems will be considered an enemy of our country.
Recently a friend shared this little adage of humor:
“In the old days, rich people drove cars and poor people had horses. Today, poor people drive cars and rich people have horses”.
OoooWeee!!
Don’t forget Taliban China Hunter Biden complex
The afghan giveaway was not a mistake
It was definitely planned. As soon as we left China swooped in and bought all of the mineral rights in Afghanistan from the Taliban,
Thank you for posting this, T. Turtle, and reminding me of this article (* mine):

“Sen. John Boozman of Arkansas and Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma also joined Brown for a tour of Lockheed Martin’s factory in Camden, Arkansas, where they walked past workers assembling massive ring bases for the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System and the tube components of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, or HIMARS. Both systems have been in high demand in Ukraine.
“Mullin, who previously voted against the bill, said he still sees a way to get approval for the aid, which he supports.
“There is a package that’s being worked on the Senate and the House side that could possibly move forward,” he said, *citing an idea that would give the U.S. first rights to Ukraine’s mineral resources* in return for the aid. It’s a type of loan that former President Donald Trump has supported and that could make the U.S. less dependent on China, Mullin said.”

So by 2032, huh???
Seven years only to install the charging infrastructure throughout the United States, huh?
Amongst other ridiculous fantasies which have to happen, overseen by the government, huh??
For starters, one by one all the big automakers are backing out of EV production. Now that’s a big one…
Someone is taking a lot of hallucinatory drugs.
Today at Daily Caller.
Biden’s EPA says Americans will waste billions of dollars worth of time charging EVs
People who dream all this up and actually believe to the marrow in their bones that ordaining it will make it so have never built a thing in their lives, nor have they run a business.
Strong delusions…
Now where have I read about those…
They don’t care if anyone can charge them.
The goal is to keep us poor, immobile and dependent, remember?
You will own nothing and be happy….
Oh my dear Been. I’ve known about it since 2020…
PDF download…you might want to have a drink while you read.
It’s long, footnoted, and updated since it first appeared.

US manufacturers already got their payoff from Xiden…
they’re backing out now because they cannot compete with Chinese slave labor & subsidized manufacturing. Particularly since Blackrock, Vanguard & State Street control their voting shares.
I’m reading from Ed Dowd that right on schedule as predicted, cancer rates are hideously increasing and rapidly as well. The American workforce is being affected of course. This will only get worse via the bioweapon injections which contain the forbidden SB 40 cancer causing ingredient as defined by the FDA itself long ago.
But what luck!!!
A new “workforce” is arriving to take those jobs sick Americans have had to leave. Wages will be brought down, and then…joy of joys…we can compete with China!!
Curious how that works, no?
Et voilá!!! A new “slave market!
Don’t laugh too soon Betsy.
They managed to install surveillance cameras at damned near every intersection in under 8 years.
And 5 G cell towers every 10to 20 miles in that time ss well.
The outdoor prison has been erected very efficiently.
I’m not laughing, Alex.
I lived in the UK with CCTV on every street corner.
(5G is deadly as well as intrusive by the way…. to wildlife and to human beings)
You’ll hear no chortles from me.
“Nature finds a way”…..it will birth a cottage industry of combustion engine and parts refurbishing not dissimilar to what happened in Cuba or the eastern bloc. Inly in the US private companies and entrepreneurs can provide much better parts and service.
People don’t want and can’t afford….for myriad reasons…..EVs. Even with these regs.
Furthermore I suspect the EPA has overreacted and will lose in court once this is challenged.
Now who has the b@lls to call Blackrock into congress to explain its lobbying for and financing these plants in Mexico at the cost of jobs and livelihoods here?
This WILL be challenged in court.
Now we see why overturning Chevron is critical.
The “revolution” that might create has already started with the COVID “crisis”. Many more people will be able to work at home over the Internet, and those with physical jobs will either carpool or take public transportation.
So I’ll have have to carpool to Home Depot to get new plumbing materials, get on a zoom with a plumber who will tell me what to do, and he’ll still charge me $100 an hour?🤣
RIGHT ON SUNDANCE
I love the truth FINALLY being REVEALED and IT’S HAPPENING MORE OFTEN
WITH MORE PLATFORMS. Blackrock is straight out of hell I’m blanking the second evil one. GWP also
on fire bringing the POLITICAL evil in your face truth. TRUTH DOES PREVAIL. Ten years ago manyus of
down the rabbit holes deeply and excavating the truth but could not get into peoples reading information.
NOW ITS HERE. God loves you Sundance keep the armor on and prayers surround you. Peace and Light
The EPA = Environmental Protection Agency is a Congressionally-defined “executive-branch administrative agency” which is supposed to have a specific, “environmentally-oriented,” mission.
So, why is this agency now forcing the American public to quickly learn how to renovate 1960’s-era “Volkswagen Beetles?” Just to still be able to drive to work? 🤡
If, today, you own what you now consider to be “a junkyard,” hang on … you might actually be sitting on a gold mine.
You are dreaming , all ICE vehicles will be banned even the carbon free ones that Toyota is working on , unless Blackrock decides it can be profitable for them.
Ever wonder how they’re going to extract and transport the raw materials that fuel industry? I mean, ICE vehicles loom gigantic in that field. Literally. Never mind agriculture. I guess they could go back to mules and draft horses and plows and wagons like my grandfather used. Hitch the wagon up and head to town for supplies, dodging the horse poop along the way. Progress 🙂
Our “newest” vehicle is a 2012, our oldest is 2005, then we have a 2007. We are buying my oldest daughter’s 2005 Honda Pilot as another backup. Was going to sell the 2012, I don’t want to look like a used car lot 🤣, but we may just keep all four vehicles the more I think about it.
for a laugh,,, when they describe Larry Fink’s its devilish in cleverness
“All he wanted to do was save the planet while making his firm a fortune”

Funny, because the automakers are bailing from ev’s as fast as they can because consumers aren’t buying them.
It’s not about EVs.
Remember how the COVID-19 respirators were built.
Think about it
For sure. This is the kind of stuff I like to share because the story itself makes people ask questions out loud. The answers you provide are the what make people think critically and opens eyes.
I appreciate you.
The entire time I was reading this extremely important article I kept thinking, what’s it called when corporations and government are in bed and conspire together? Fascism or Corporatism.
This truly makes me sick. President Trump is right Again…it is going to be a bloodbath, one way or another, no matter what definition is used to describe bloodbath.
Of course you are right, the politicians have nothing to say about this, the corporations are making the decisions because Crooked Joe Biden is compromised.
covid (it will called whatever) passport much easier without private transportation
Also think washing machines. When the regulators rule that they must all be crap, that is all you can buy. Pray your old one lasts forever.
I use the Lehman’s own hand washer. It is excellent, and well worth the money. Better than an electric washer, and can be used in power outage
Get a Speed Queen and keep it forever, IMO. Those things are beasts. My Kenmore is closing in on 30 and still works great. Bought it new in 96. Only repair was a water level switch, took me about an hour to do. Solid.
When I heard last year that that was coming, I replaced both of mine with speed queen commercial grade models. Pricey purchases for me but a reputation for longevity made it a no brainer.
My washer was 30 years old & still running like a top. My dryer lasted 25 years with some repairs, it’s replacement lasted 3. Neither would have gotten me through the coming nightmare so that forced my hand.
I hope that it pays off.
Eventually, they will force us to drive them if we want to drive at all. They will have all knowledge of everything that we do in the road. They will be able to control all of the mechanisms that run the vehicles as well.
Sounds like the Global Beast system.
Choose Christ while you can.
> They will have all knowledge of everything that we do in the road.
They already do. Every vehicle sold since after 2017 has all of that already, and every time you take your vehicle in to a dealership they dump the info stored and sell it. And every new vehicle sold has remote kills switches, and has for a few years, and some, like most GMC models, have had them for decades.
It isn’t EVs you should be worried about. It is the tech that is already embedded in your life.
And you should forget about all of those worries if you have a smart phone, and especially if you use the internet. They already have it all. It is just that the info they have is on you.
US automakers are bailing domestically, but not Chinese manufacturers in Mayhico.
I imagine it will eventually become illegal to sell used or rebuilt parts. Licencing fees on gas powered vehicles will skyrocket, to use a fave Obama term.
All this will spur innovation and robust off the books markets.
the ideaology needs to be defeated. or its definite they will delete your way of life via saving the planet.
ICE needs gasoline, thats the achilles heel, cant be stored long term. Control the gasoline via price or access and ICE vehicle is a yard ornament (or living quarters for some)
And the infrastructure to support gasoline supplies is massive, complex, and degrading year by year. With DEI “diversity” hires, it is getting worse.
Everyone is going to want, nay DEMAND, EVs in about 10 years as infrastructure-independent vehicles that won’t be captive to infrastructure degradation.
Nope.
LOL! Some infrastructure is magically exempt from DEI hires and degradation?
EVs require far less infrastructure, and if you set up your own solar on your property, zero infrastructure.
No magic involved.
The oligarchs love Goddless China. They want China to rule the NWO.
I believe Mussolini style fascism was to leave the companies in private hands, but control the means of production by controlling the heads of the corporations. Our current form of government is to leave the illusion of a constitutional republic but have corporations like BlackRock and Vanguard control the heads of the government. All China needs to do is control the heads of those few corporations and they control the US. The threat to that strategy is federalism — they must loathe Texas. Oh yeah, and Trump as chief executive.
People are waking up, the lies over vaccines, masks, “slow the spread”, six foot distancing, seas boiling, no snow in North America after 2010, only ten years before the tipping point, polar bears dying, ad nauseum. You may forget some of the absurdly bad predictions, but it is impossible to forget all of them. That is part of the information war, convincing people that they were not lied to, but that the facts have changed. More nonsense.
I do not have anything against EV’s, I recently drove a Tesla Plaid and it was really, really quick. Nine second quarter miles are fun, but battery replacement would cost half of what I paid for my first house. If an EV meets your needs, go for it, but don’t legislate perfectly benign and viable alternatives out of existence. More importantly, don’t lie about why you are trying to do it.
There are two immense EV lies at play.
First, that carbon dioxide drives climate change. Carbon dioxide is 400 parts per million of the atmosphere, or 0.04 percent and human activity accounts for five percent of that at the outside, or 0.002 percent. So a 0.002 percent change in atmospheric composition causes a ten degree centigrade swing in global temperature? Rubbish. It is all based on models and the models are tuned to produce funding, not good results. Observed temperature variations are well within historical ranges, but these facts are omitted from articles. These lies are deliberate.
Second, that battery powered vehicles charged by wind and solar sources are a viable means of both reducing carbon dioxide output and replacing existing personal transportation. Diffuse and unreliable power production coupled with low power density storage means that personal transportation will no longer be viable for most of the population in this scenario. China brings a new coal plant on line every two weeks, negating any CO2 mitigation and the necessary power cannot be produced by unreliable sources. It won’t work. These lies are deliberate.
One thing I’ve noticed about the Marxists is that the ideas they push need to be stupid. It is not about being correct, it is about political power. They win more when they make you say something you know is wrong. The green new deal is stupid, so it is the perfect Marxist ploy. Just like other stupid ideas of the left: men can be women, women can be men, safe and effective, BLM, peaceful protests, austere scholar, open borders, masks, etc. Stupid ideas wilt in sunlight.
To fight back, fight for what is not stupid.
Glad you are making the connection to Fascist corporatism. This is not being recognized by enough people.
Same argument!
When someone wants to frighten you, they quote the mass of what human activity produces which is a lot if it is sitting in your back yard. But when you realize that compared to the mass of the atmosphere, it is insignificant. As soon as you talk about “water forcing”, all bets are off. The water cycle is far too complex and the crude models break down.
Texas just withdrew $8.5 billion in funds from BlackRock due to its leftwing findom practices.
Texas will pull some $8.5 billion in investments from BlackRock over its ESG policies, the biggest such divestment after several Republican states have moved to cut ties with firms that conservatives see as privileging liberal goals.
Texas State Board of Education Chairman Aaron Kinsey announced the move on Tuesday. A letter was sent to BlackRock the same day notifying the world’s largest money manager. The divestment was done to comply with the state’s anti-environmental, social, and governance law, which prohibits state investment in companies like BlackRock that Republicans say boycott energy companies.
“BlackRock’s dominant and persistent leadership in the ESG movement immeasurably damages our state’s oil and gas economy and the very companies that generate revenues for our [Permanent School Fund],” Kinsey said. “Texas and the PSF have worked hard to grow this fund to build Texas’s schools.”
“BlackRock’s destructive approach towards the energy companies that this state and our world depend on is incompatible with our fiduciary duty to Texans,” he added.
BlackRock, though, argues that it is helping millions of Texans and emphasized its investment in the state.
…
ESG is a financial concept that centers on compelling social change through investment and divestment. It is a corporate model that doesn’t solely look at maximizing profit but also incorporates other elements into financial decisions — for instance, how an investment might affect fossil fuel emissions.
Would love to see the number of states doing this to double or even triple.
This is a tracker for states that have already divested from Blackrock.

Florida also withdrew it’s pension fund money!
One of the biggest risk elements for global companies is government regulation and policy change. If new leadership comes along and reverses prior decisions, which had committed resource investment, you could end up trying to hold on to a greased pole.

With the annual shareholder meeting Wednesday, Exxon has been scrambling to win the backing of major institutional investors for its directors in its toughest boardroom battle in recent history. The two fund giants, which together own approximately 14% of ExxonMobil shares, according to reports, supported portions of a dissident slate of board nominees brought by a Engine No. 1, an activist, purpose-driven investment firm that sees ExxonMobil’s response to the global climate crisis as far too weak to help achieve net zero emissions by 2050, putting shareholder value at risk. “Engine No. 1 rejected that assessment. In an email to DealBook, it highlighted a string of changes at Exxon, including the introduction of net-zero targets for its Permian Basin operations in Texas and New Mexico, early-stage carbon-capture and hydrogen projects, and investments in lithium mining. “None of those initiatives were in the company’s plans before Engine No. 1’s engagement,” a spokesman said.”

Those will be fun political ads in the Midwest…
I hope Trump comes out and calls it pure corruption. They’re in the take from China. China announces EV plants in Mexico. Biden announces an EV diktat.
Not a lot different than the vaccine mandate, btw, which was a transparently corrupt mechanism to pump money to Pharma.
Where are all the Woodwards and Bernsteins. Cowards and lost souls all. There only one answer people. Collar up!
The media only acts like Woodward and Bernstein when a Republican is president. When a Democrat is president, they all want to be Monica Lewinsky.
Americans are really attached to their gas powered cars and their guns. Try taking them “from their cold, dead hands.” Won’t end well for these psychos.
Was planning on selling my fully restored 63 Chev shortbox. Think I’ll keep it now. Those older classics might be the only gas powered vehicles that are exempt from the EV bs.
When you say trillions at stake, what would Trump do if he gets into office? 1. Stop the EV mandates. Point out their flaws. End Gov’t subsidies for EVs. That will crash sales and make Mexican/ Chinese battery plans nearly useless. Who benefits– American Auto makers and workers. Who loses– China mostly. Who will try to stop Trump from taking office– all democrats and everyone financially on the wrong side of his ideology. With the amount of money at stake, the players are lined up that would send a “wet works” team to get rid of him.
President Trump has said he will put a 100% tariff on those EV’s coming out of Mexico. Personally, I think it should be a 500% tariff.
Add a fine equal to the amount loaned to any entity that loans money for the purchase of those vehicles.
President Trump needs to end the $7,500 IRS tax credit on EVs.
It’s just welfare for millionaires.
No need to put a tariff on anything here. All he has to do is have the government do nothing. And by nothing I refer to subsidies. Pull the government’s heavy hand from the scale and let the market (consumers) decide on the merits of electric vehicles.
There is great danger, especially for a man who does huge outdoor rallies. How can he be protected?
China can try to sell all their EVs to Mexico and the rest of the turd world, but nobody can afford them there.
PDJT Won’t let them sell in the US. He made that clear.
“China can try to sell all their EVs to Mexico and the rest of the turd world,…”
Wondering what percentage of Chinese motorists drive Chinese built electric automobiles?
Retards are gonna keep retarding until either cold reality smacks them square on the nose or the law abiding adults/politicians finally rise up.

Last year I wrote 2 family members about the involvement of BlackRock in advising the Biden administration on Ukraine policies. I believed and still believe that the multinational corporations and banks had been behind the attempt to push Russia into war with the express wish to destabilize Russia and open up investment opportunities and resource confiscation in a destabilized and/or balkanized Russia. Providing war materiel and weapons would be laundered back to Congress via defense manufacturers and contractors. The involvement with the plans for Ukraine’s reconstruction under an agreement with BlackRock and the Ukraine grain deal which profited multinational corporations more than Ukraine were two telling elements in my guess.
I did not realize that BlackRock was behind the sanctions. I thought that Von der Leyen was behind the first sanctions – that she had been designing them from September, 2021 onward.
I have to hope that at some point there will be a Sherman or Clayton Anti-trust Act applied to these overgrown and evil manipulators. I also hope that campaign contributions will be limited to a certain amount no matter whether it is a PAC or directly to a candidate.
By the way, I forgot to put it in the above….BlackRock owns a large amount of shares of weapons manufacturers like Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, etc. So, they have been making money on Ukraine’s grain, the weapons that the US is making and those being sent to blow up large portions of Ukraine, and then they will profit from the reconstruction efforts after everything is blown up.
They will make money on every aspect of this conflict.
.
Bureaucrat and other non-legislative law-making is out of control, and must be slapped down as the unconstitutional diktat that it is. Where are the lawsuits?
.
It all seems so incestuous, doesn’t it?
People will not buy those cars. Not a car that can be controlled by whoever that demon is that is orchestrating all of this demolition.
BTW, I heard car parts are getting very difficult to obtain.
So evil.
Jesus is our only hope
It is articles like this that, even with the exponential curve of what is coming at us these days, keeps me coming back to this site.
Now it is more clear what it meant when Donald Trump clearly stated his intention to put 100% tariffs on cars out of Mexico. He is like the pitcher who has his catcher tell the hitter that the fast ball is coming – try to hit it.
We need to remember that it is all-or-nothing this election for the people who are determined to conquer the world. They cannot afford to fail. Why should this surprise us? This is what history has always been written about. From Donald Trump’s approach to this election, it is obvious that he is fully aware of this.
EMP is the Solution
Roll us back to 1800’s technology!!
How many gentle readers grew up crank starting or push starting cars/trucks that had no battery? I did. The stories about crank whiplash are not exaggerated.
Mechanical diesel with a Dushka in the back. Communist eater, ready to roll, EMP-special.
I have twins and of the most popular era and truck ever sold. Parts lurking everywhere. Bring it Brandon 🙂
On topic, I would expect everything to get thrown at the wall this year because, well, it’s an election year and if they smell PDJT with a chance, they’re gonna gum things up so bad he won’t know where to start….they think. Ha, ha, don’t underestimate the Don 🙂
I’ve said it before, although late to the party. (See my posting on Sundance’s previous thread).
The most exponential threat to ‘right here; right now’ — is the CBDC.
They are going for the whole enchilada — quickly — and how to inform ‘the masses’ that this is a horrible idea — well, tell me how to stop it!
Honestly, if they manage to get this CBDC in place — we can turn off the lights.
https://thelibertydaily.com/autoworkers-union-gives-full-throated-support-traitor-joes
FTA “The United Auto Workers (UAW) came out in support of a change to a Biden administration auto emissions regulation that would force an electric vehicle (EV) transition and potentially end the need for thousands of autoworker jobs.
The rule from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) delays some of the emission standards that were set to take place in 2027 through 2029, but instead toughens standards between 2030 and 2032 to reach the same goal in the same time frame. In its statement, the UAW espoused its support for a “cleaner domestic auto industry” and a “just” transition to EVs, but also called on the Biden administration to not use the rule as an excuse to cut American jobs.
“We need to see movement by the administration to protect these jobs,” the UAW said in its statement. “The nascent EV industry needs tariff protections — otherwise we are going to be awash in imports. The stakes of the transition are high for American workers. We will continue to work with the administration and fight to get these policies right for American autoworkers. ”
This is a classic example of cognitive dissonance, the UAW actually believes this push to EV won’t harm US automakers jobs! 🤣 Unbelievable, hope the rank and file don’t fall for that fairy tale!
I paid a whopping$13700 for 2013 Scion with 41K miles on it, I can only imagine how high future prices on similar $8000 cars will climb.

This is exactly why they will cheat like hell to elect whichever Democrat Presidential candidate is put forth for 2024.
Yesterday Sundance, you asked the question about our biggest concerns regarding the political climate right now.
My response to question number 1.) How do we ensure a fair election in 2024? There are trillions at stake and they will do anything to get their guy in. Their motto has always been “the end justifies the means”.
the monkey wrench is still ” do not comply”
Confiscate everything Blackrock has a legal title to.

Old vehicles didn’t rely on sensors and computers like modern ones do. Dont know if we could “Cuba” the vehicles like they did.
How does Biden have that authority to unilaterally mandate a non-functional automobile!
Well, there goes the full UAW vote for Biden. Even more leakage of Biden’s base.
Name the Rent-a-Car CEO who just got canned after adding so many EV’s to their rental care fleet. They totally bombed, so he was axed.
Schwartz or Steinberg or something. He was with Goldman Sachs for 28 years then went to Hertz and promptly bought 80,000 Tesla’s which bankrupted Hertz and bailed out Goldman Sachs’ investment in Tesla.
Pretty cute deal! He’s probably back at Goldman now and having a good laugh. Kinda like the gal that was hired by Budweiser. She did a really good job on them, too!
I very, very highly recommend this 1 hour documentary, “MONOPOLY – Who Owns The World?”
All roads lead to Blackrock and Vanguard.
If you can get the ‘politically neutral’ to watch this documentary, then ‘bonus points’ to you. This is the type of doco that gets people off the fence….or at least induces a squirm or two.

PS: The issue that Sundance is raising is not EV’s and cars. EV’s and cars is a real life example. EV’s and cars is a distraction from the real issue, so as to get people talking about EV’s, cars, rare-earth mining, etc, rather than the REAL issue. The real issue that Sundance raises is how Blackrock and the private sector have infiltrated the White House and is creating policy. If this pernicious infiltration was a physical invasive attack, Secret Service would be screaming “White House down!”
It is clear that Our President knew this EPA BS was coming as he announced last week at one of his rallies that the Chinese were wasting their money on the Mexican plants since one of his first actions when officially in the White House next January will be to attach a 100% tariff on all imported EVs from Mexico. He is also going to shut down all the EV mandate government actions since it will be an absolute disaster for pretty much every facet of our economy. It’s also why he has the worker support from the UAW while the “leaders” have been bought off by the Globalists. – screw their members…
Meet the real boss.
You can see why the large auto manufacturers started pivoting literally a couple months ago to scale back their pure EV targets (push back on demand as great majorities don’t want them). Concurrently they are moving investment into plug in hybrids. Far more easily accepted, with the combined gas and electric platform you can charge in your garage overnight. Biteme’s cabal is including those in the count for EV targets. OF COURSE THEY ARE. Reality hit them right in the gonads. Their stupid original targets and goals were blind to the existing and future infrastructure problems of electrification, charging stations, etc. All pie in the sky BS.
But Craprock is always dealing, scheming and positioning. The Chinese will help flood the nation with their cheap imports via the Mexican loophole. This regime doesn’t give a rats ass about how many American autoworker’s jobs are destroyed; they are importing plenty of illiterate illegal voters and poop scrubbers for cheap labor and government welfare bribes. Disgusting.
Yes the trillions are managed and engineered by Craprock and the COC, among others. But their henchmen must not be absolved as mere puppets. They WILLINGLY AND DUTIFULLY TAKE THEIR FILTHY BRIBES AND DESTROY US FOR THEIR GLUTTONY.
It is disgusting she is forced to be with her rapist.
The look in her face shows at least 50% of her is terrified.
The other 50% is busy watching Dancing with the Derelicts.
I blame this whole situation on the Supreme Court that made the ruling decades ago that the federal government can rule over the commerce between the various States, making any agreement or business activity that crossed State lines (whether in the creation or sale of an item) to fall under federal jurisdiction.
How dare a sitting (p)resident decide what type of vehicle I, as a private consumer, can purchase. This is so anti-Constitutional down to the core of our nation’s founding.
Plus – it is just an opinion, but I’ve always assumed Black rock is a creation funded by all that hidden three-letter agency money whether from its illicit international drug trade or simply budgetary machinations.
Govt telling govt what regulations to put into place so govt can profit. Nice racket.
The power generation assets and the distribution grid will NOT be adequate to generate enough electricity for the EV’s and ALL of the power necessary to meet the needs of the country.
This is a DELIBERATE, NEFARIOUS and DISASTROUS side-ways SHIT-STORM that the country is being driven in to.
This is not going to end well for 10’s of millions or more in the country.
Wow, this one really hurt. I feel like Sundance just played a game of connect the dots on my face with lawn darts. Prognosis: TERMINAL.
1. If that’s you in the above photo, I’m glad you have big shoulders.
2. I can’t remember the last time I saw exhaust coming out of an auto tailpipe, and I’m older than you.
Yup, in short.. it’s exfiltration of wealth via policy. It’s always been done but not usually so openly and directly into the hands of an adversary. I agree with many and likewise will not participate but I also know that isn’t how this works.
Without a consumer base the Gov has other options. With all the wealth from us tax slaves. The outcome will likely be that we will see this technology subsidized by our taxes and also applied to every aspect of Gov operation ie. buses, trains, all fleet vehicles for every agency and down the line including law enforcement and probably military. They will give elec/power companies and large corporations with all those outside sales reps across the nation a special rate. Schools/Colleges will get all new funding just for replacing everything with this crap..
The battery market will become overly saturated with chinese battery tech. We already have loads of kids on e-bikes and e-scooters and it’s only going to expand. I’m not really clear though on how effective our recycling of this crap is going to be. Historically speaking we tend to underestimate the damage we’re going to do in the rush to make a profit. If we have no good way to recycle and manage the waste it’s going to get ugly fast. Me thinks this problem isn’t going to age like cheddar.
There will be an underground for old cars and car parts.. No doubt about it.. Parts are plentiful and lots of $$$ to be made in machining parts for old cars. Even newer models, the ECU has been unlocked for many models and lots of people run heavily modified engines on alternate fuels that still pass Cali smog checks. But don’t ignore that many millions will buy into the scheme and subsidies will make them appear more affordable. I live in an area where just about everyone and their mom has a Tesla.. Literally every other driveway has a Tesla or EV.. the sheep are vast.. China will make trillions…
They are good at distracting so to distract you all I bet we see a whole bunch more personal quadcopters in place of flying cars soon. We already have the Jetson-One among others and there are a few more coming on market soon. The future is going to be very weird for sure. I’m honestly hoping we can figure out an alternative power source in the next couple years that makes all these brand new chinese battery companies immediately obsolete.. Here’s to hoping..
Sundance, why are there so many popups, and the page bounces repeatedly? How do I stop it so that I can read in peace?
Same for me, annoying
I switched to Brave and that solved my problems.
You beat me to that suggestion. I switched to Brave browser several years ago and now have over two million ads and trackers blocked. I also use Startpage as a search engine. It beats Google by a country mile.
Occasionally Brave will slow down but a restart gets it right back on track.
Started using Brave when in Alpha testing. Keep testing search engines. Yandex comes out on top every year.
Yandex is a Russian search engine.
Interesting, Nyet?
Rascally Rooskies have the best search engine.
Get skunked on all of “our” engines and theirs comes through every time.
I am forced to use it alot.
Try the “Hillary Clinton” test
So?
Same here.
Same here. Years ago Brave was suggested by someone here on the Treehouse and I switched. No more annoying pop ups!!!I have Brave on all my electronics, even my phone.
Back to the topic…
I got a weird text today from the Lefties about EV’s, after I’d gotten out of the dentist.
My reply suggested that they perform auto-erotic-anal relations with themselves.
Me too
If anybody is using a browser belonging to the ‘Axis of Internet Evil’, the evil ones can program interruptions to the Treehouse.
No issues with Safari on my iPad and Mac. Also use AdBlock and Ghostery.
I use Safari and I have this problem. This is my 4,5,6,7th try.
Brave Browser and the Duck
To all who posted about the Brave Browser – I have NO HARRASSMENT FROM ANYONE. I just use a laptop. I pity folks who carry a forking computer in their pockets. But that’s the way it is these days. I’m staying in my “Amish” ways. Otherwise, I’d be crazier than I am already.
I also carry a kosher phone, i.e., one that doesn’t do email, browsers, or apps. Blessed peace!
It does do detailed weather, voice-to-text, and maps for a $3.50 premium charge per month.
But with my US Mobile monthly bill of $8.57, including fees, I’m quite satisfied with my $12.07 monthly charge for cell phone use. 🙂
X2 on your dumb phone. They are the only way to go. They dont track your every move either.
Talk and text is all I want or need out of a mobile phone I hate the damm things.
Brave browser and Brave Search.
Duck censors the news about Ukraine.
Duck censors quite a few sites. Its better than Gagg but not much.
Ghostery is also a very good secure browser with a private search engine . No tracking, Ads, pop ups ect.
Very Fast loading too. Never have problems with slow loading pages
Yandex is my favorite search engine when i really want to find something.
Same here!!!!
I’m on Firefox with their ad blocker and no issues
DuckDuckGo with Ad Block Plus.
So that prevents ads but it doesn’t fix Duck’s main problem which is filtering out websites that don’t tow the current accepted narratives and prioritizing MSM sources first unless the search string is specific enough to force the site in which the search string literally appears to be high in the results. DDG owners committed a year or two back to filter out “misinformation” which is code word for conservative sites that feature truth instead of government-approved narratives.
