Our medical care was affordable until it was largely broken by NAFTA & its opening of the border. I had numerous private hospitals go bankrupt around me because they were forced to give free medical care to illegal aliens.
My county hospital has gone bankrupt and no other hospital wants to come here. Not because of illegals, though.
When the closest hospital is 30 miles away, it can become a matter of life or death. To make things even worse, often the closest hospital won’t take a case because they don’t have room. So, the emergency people (ambulance service is still here) have to call around and see if they can find a hospital that will take a patient. I have to trust I don’t have a stroke or cardiac incident.
Supply and demand, basic economics. The more demand or less supply, the higher the cost.

Banning TikTok is just the modern version of book banning done centuries ago. It only serves to make the item to be banned surge in popularity. In the days of old if you wanted your kid to read a specific book and they were hesitant to read it, all you had to do is tell them they were forbidden to even glance at the pages.
