I swear by all that I know to be righteous and accurate, the combined willpower of the UniParty in Washington DC is not targeting TikTok from the perspective of concern over data collection. Instead, the DC system -which is to say the USIC- is using the auspices of TikTok to expand the reach of government censorship and control information.
This is a domestic information space battle, using the guise of TikTok as a baseline for justification. How do we know? You only need to look at the mechanism of the law as it is written, the compliance section, and the definitions they are using to see they are not targeting data collection. [pdf of HR7521 HERE]
If TikTok data collection was the issue, the law would be structured to ban foreign data collection. That’s not what this is. This is a law written to give the Executive Branch the power to define any platform as “foreign owned” by the service provider (even if domestic) and the substance of the content contained and/or distributed. This has to be stopped.
Read the law as written through the prism of “Information Control,” not the prism of data collection. The law is designed to control information, not data collection.
As readers are well aware, the USIC is in alignment (I would say control) with almost all U.S-based social media platforms. This is why/how DHS is operating in synergy with those same systems. This is also the motive behind the mis-dis-mal-information definitions. Ultimately, if you stand back and look at what is being done, you see the concern of the U.S. government is not data collection, its information control.
The TikTok ban, authorized by a duplicious Legislative branch, is expanding the ability of the Executive branch to control information. Just as The Patriot Act was not about targeting terrorism, but really about domestic surveillance; so too is the TikTok ban not about foreign data collection, it’s about information control.
Again, read the law as written and you can clearly see this is a law created to authorize the agencies of the government to control information. Silence is the same as consent in the face of oppression. Do not be silent.
MAGA.
And our self serving corrupt politicians vote as their globalist paymasters orders them to instead of representing we the people. They don’t even read these bills or know the content. If anything this bill will probably enhance the Chinese owned Tik Tok. After all they have a huge vested stake in our politicians from JoeBama on down.
It’s only 12 pages, they read it, trust me
I was right, again! We have seen this movie before, it is just being recycled into a different bill.
Tucker Carlson Warns About Senate Bill 686, The Restrict Act, Framed Around TikTok But Focused on Domestic Online Censorship

BTW, another pattern here on their recycling. Mar 2023, Mar 2024.
As to Tik-Tok, I listened to a podcast the other day on the evils of Tik-Tok. Did you know they can turn on the camera at any time to watch your face react to whatever is on the screen?
My 1st tho’t was how that means they get to watch Delusional Joe.
so does facebook
so does twitter
so does zoom
Wait a minute! Does this bill mean we can ban Dominion and all of their cheating software since it is foreign owned?
The House just passed it and Bannon just called it a huge win?!?!?!??!?!?!!?
Alex Jones just came on and set him straight, but that was after Raheem Khassam had a good 20 minutes discussing how this is the best thing passed since sliced bread., and it’s “tight”, no shenanigans allowed.
This is basically a 21st century version of John Adams’ Intolerable Acts.
Banning seems in favor of this.
Bannon backed Roy Moore too when Trump did not.
The big question to me is, WHO wrote this? What Republicans had their hands in crafting this, and WHO did they use to do it? They need held to account for this BS.
Thank You Sundance! KTF (Keep The Faith)
You are my shining beacon in this political fog BS!
Too late.

My brain has turned to mush.
House of Representatives passed this bill, HR7541, TikTok Bill. Now on to the Senate.
Passed or not it stays on the list of things that I have no use for and never use.
Thank you for trying to explain for people what’s really at stake. Folks need to remember Obama’s bootstrapping “indefinite detention” on the tail end of the NDAA Section 1021… Reflect on how DOJ created the definition of Domestic Terrorist and the J6th people never seeing arraignment judges still rotting in the Washington DC Detention Ctr – many of whom spend up to a year in solitary confinement or shackled in the back of the transport van for hours thinking they were moving to another facility only to be loaded back into the Detention center as dusk…
It’s always about censorship. my domain is censored by google, microsoft, as well as others, its how they keep their crimes covered, nothing new
Could not see the ‘control’ aspects but then I couldn’t get past what the meaning of is, is.
Watching how this is playing out on Citizen Free Press and Twitter is a little nutty. The issue isn’t some sort of binary, you don’t want a ban/divesture of Tik Tok, therefor you must support the CCP. If you don’t support the bill you must have fallen for the propaganda of Yass and the Club for Growth. People should be asking legitimate questions about those definitions, who determines what a foreign adversary is and under what criteria, why the power is concentrated in the President, and why all of the judicial remedy is focused in the DC district. Institutional trust is at an all time low, it should be expected people have questions, and simply shouting shut up you CCP agent is gaslighting.
Excellent post. I don’t have a problem banning Tik Tok, I have a problem with the language in this bill.
And note that Citizen Free Press censors and shadow bans people expressing views that argue against the CRP narrative.
CRP has an agenda. I am usually in agreement with that agenda, but that does not mean that I am blind to Kane’s CFP manipulation of comments. CFP is not a free speech site.
This is one of the most obvious traps ever, what is Raheem doing?
Don’t have a “smart” phone. Never downloaded an “APP”. Obviously never used Tik Tok. But if this bill gives more power to the federal government at any level than I am against it.
“Covered company” is always tied to “controlled by a foreign adversary”.
Sundance’s commentary does not make this clear.
As I understand him, Sundance makes the point that the legislation is not focused on data collection, but rather censoring a “foreign adversary”’s use of an application.
Everyone should be clear on that point.
The question is whether the U.S. Government takes an absolutist position of “free speech” or whether it acts to censor “a foreign adversary” in time of an information war.
This is the crux of the matter. People ought to be clear on these issues.
I beleive that this is why we see people like Sundance, Rand Paul and Thomas Massie opposing the law, and why others e.g. Steve Bannon, Kane at CFP, and a majority of the House are in favor.
This is a serious issue with strong and reasonable rational arguments on both sides.
Don’t get caught up in the Club For Growth, Jeff Yass money thing. That obfuscates the underlying important issues. There is always money involved in the sausage making of legislation, and that ought not be ignored, but neither should it deaden minds to the importance of the competing points of view regarding freedom of information versus use of information as propaganda and to influence people. We saw the improper use of both (1) information restriction, and (2) disinformation propagation, regarding President Trump in the last election.
“but neither should it deaden minds to the importance of the competing points of view regarding freedom of information versus use of information as propaganda and to influence people”
So, who gets to decide what is propaganda and what is not? and why should government be anywhere near the freedom of thought. ”
Proud to say I stood tall against the “Patriot Act” when I suspect the majority of people posting here went along with it. Your rationalization\doublespeak is exactly what I remember back then. It was wrong then and wrong now. Freedom of thought, i.e. the first amendment, is not the place for government. We are individuals before God. We get to decide. Stand stall for our natural rights or crawl on your knees like an animal that must be caged.
This is the Deep State telling everyone that spying on Americans is their turf and they won’t let anyone else cut in. They don’t want to ban TIK TOK, they want to use it themselves to expand control.
Watch for the nearly instantaneous FTC approval of the ByteDance sale to Google.gov.
Karl Denninger, the gratuitously foul-mouthed overseer of market-ticker, evidently cannot find the part that says “at the discretion of the president” and proclaimed in the commentary that Sundance must be fellating Xi. Denninger also believes the official story of 9/11 and will ban you if you bring up Larry Silverstein’s “we made the decision to pull it” video.
It is what it is.
The Israel First crowd want the ban because Zoomers speak freely about the Israel Palestinian conflict and the TikTok youth mostly support Palestine. Censoring their voices is their aim.
If Congress is for it, you should be against it. That’s all you need to know.
It is not surprising that Kane’s Citizen Free Press CFP is virulently in favor of the anti-Tik Tok legislation.
After all, CFP shadow bans people whose comments challenge CFP talking points.
The bill is more cleaving! That is the intent. It is sanctions to lock us in.
Sooo…help me understand how TikTok is different than ABC/CBS/NBC/MSNBC/CNN/Fox/NYT/WaPo/WSJ/LAT/Meta/AP/Reuters/Alphabet/etc?
Every last one of those are poisoning American minds, run by enemies of our nation and constitution, enemies of freedom, anti-free speech, hostile to We, The People. Enemies of the People. And TikTok is somehow a unique threat that needs to be banned?
Umm…I’d say the bigger threat is the insidious pervasive ones found on the home front believed to be allies, one of us. More distract and divert. Eyes and attention away from the enemy not just at our door, but in our homes.
I would agree. We’ve known for some time now that twitter and Facebook are influenced by the FBI.
Those being the only two they’ve told us. The rest I listed. And then some.
I’ve been harping about propaganda, propaganda, and more propaganda for the last several years now and your post very excellently reinforces and shines that beautiful spotlight of “truth” on all of these so-called “journalistic” outfits that are in reality, as you so aptly noted, “enemies of our nation.” Meanwhile, the apathetic, uninformed average American citizen continue to soak up the lies they continuously hear and see from these sources of deceit and the enemy grows stronger. Yes! Propaganda is a very strong weapon when thrust upon a naive and trusting populace such as ours. May the Lord give our nation the knowledge, strength and protection to withstand this assault!
Very, very disappointed in Steve Bannon and Raheem Kassam this morning and last week with their support for this TikTok ban, not seeing it for what it is (and as DJTrump, RFKjr, Alex Jones, Rep. Massie, Sen. Paul, and Lawyer Robert Barnes correctly identified it). Will need to give Warroom a break for awhile. As Bannon himself has said, there’s no more room for error.
I saw that and agree. I watch warroom to learn from his guests. I discovered muting Bannon periodically, especially when he rants, does wonders for the stress levels and understanding of the issues. I also found going to the websites or substacks of many of his guests for additional information which I would not have know about had I not watched the show – and is why I haven’t tuned him out yet…
Lindsay Graham wants some conservative billionaire to buy it; perhaps Banning is involved.
Just remember: all Apple products, most of our PCs or laptops (and PC parts), smartphones (Motorola by Lenovo, Google’s Pixel Phones), and the vast majority of smart home devices are ‘Made in China.’
I guess you really can’t fix stupid.
That said, Sundance is spot on: TikTok may be censoring China-related issues, but the platform did not, and does not, censor conservatives on any U.S. related issues, and that’s the only reason why the otherwise totalitarian USIC wanted to ban TikTok.
As an aside, bi-partisan in D.C. always means you will be screwed by two dix instead of just one.
They call that the Eiffel Tower, high-tenning each other and grinning ear to ear while they’re screwing us from both sides.
IMHO, ANY congressman or woman who votes to pass this is not FIT BE IN CONGRESS and the American electorate should immediately primary them out.
At this point all I know about the “TikTok Ban Bill” is that Raheem Kassam and Jack Posobeic both swear it’s okay – which is kind of weird…
…but that Biden and all the right enemies in the swamp also are all for it…
…and it looks like it is opposed by both PDJT and sundance. PDJT just sent out a doubling-down Truth on it.
I have no time during today, but seriously look forward to reading this entire conversation here to figure out why two sources from whom I enjoy getting information (though I always grain-salt everyone) – Raheem and Jack – are wrong-headed on this.
Because if they disagree with both PDJT and sundance – they cannot be anything but wrongheaded. Just my starter opinion…
Now back to my unavoidable chores before I can read again!
What worries me is the flurry of legislation. It seems that the Congress is trying to codify as much of their agenda in actual law versus EOs so that PDJT cannot simply reverse them when he gets back into office. They will force him to govern by EO, just as they did last time so that they can reverse everything he does as soon as possible. More than ever, I worry about his successor. And whether We the People will ever get our collective heads out of our collective butts and clean out the Congress, which is far more important than the Executive.
