In a rather terse statement [SEE HERE] Fox News has announced that Maria Bartiromo is no longer employed by the media network.
NEW YORK – September 3, 2026 — Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media.
In making the announcement, FOX News Media said, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
Maria Bartiromo became increasingly popular amid the MAGA base during the research and revelations surrounding the ‘Spygate’ and ‘Russiagate’ storyline. Bartiromo often had several guests on her Sunday Morning Futures program that highlighted evidence of the corruption in the DOJ, FBI and U.S Intelligence Community. However, it also became more visible that Bartiromo was navigating between sensitive topics that often ran counter to the professional republican class interests in Washington DC.
Over the past few years Bartiromo softened her focus toward corrupt endeavors and began staying away from the most controversial aspects of how the structures of government operate. In a time when nearly all U.S. institutional credibility has crumbled, Bartiromo found herself in that awkward spot where you try to act like you’re not noticing the moment in the show when the marionette strings become visible.

Bartiromo, who was earning around $6 million a year, was anchor of the daily Fox Business Network program “Mornings with Maria,” which starting Friday will be called “Mornings with Fox Business.” Her weekend program “Sunday Morning Futures” will continue with fill-in hosts until a permanent replacement is named.” (source)
There is always that moment of choice, that time when your influence and affluence no longer run in alignment with uncomfortable truth. It’s a strange dynamic to watch unfold and even more strange when your proximity to the person gives you a different perspective than the average.
Bartiromo did as much as she could, until she couldn’t.

I have not watched Fox News since November 2020.
She was on Fox Business, which is a lot less “cringy” than Fox News.
I made the decision after they called AZ. Called to cancel the satellite service first thing the next morning.
Watching Fox News actually makes the viewer dumber, dangerous, and less informed. Fox news is purely establishment propaganda tailored to appeal to people that lean right.

I remember I had to hold a long time waiting in the queue. A lot of people were calling doing the same thing.
When they asked the reason for my cancellation, I told them I can’t in good conscience allow Fox News to get any money from me regardless how miniscule it may be and the person said they were hearing complaints about Fox News all morning and they were all cancelling everything.

I can’t remember the last time I watched TV.
However, recently I was stuck at the auto shop for two hours with nothing but golf magazines and crappy phone service.
I watched the news station on the TV, I can’t even recall what it was but I was shocked that people can sit there like zombies and stare at the screen, I couldn’t do it.
I think people are dumber just for watching TV in general.. I suppose if you want to zone out it’s okay but sheesh, life is short, get busy!

Yes. The whistleblower protection statutes have been twisted and abused so much that they are meaningless.
In “my world,” the whistleblower gets fired for “blowing the whistle.”
The whistleblower sues in court for damages and airs his grievances publicly. A court of law adjudicates the whole affair.
Obviously she got the talk by the upper heads on what to say on the air. Fox finally saw the opportunity to cut her loose. She may have been walking a fine line for some time now.
She will thrive in an environment that lets her be herself. She is a New Yawker so that holds prominence. She may be headed south.
I’m sure she’ll get by somehow. I hope she stays aligned more with the Elizabeth Nickson crowd and less with the Tucker/Candice crowd.
