[UPDATE BELOW] In a rather terse statement [SEE HERE] Fox News has announced that Maria Bartiromo is no longer employed by the media network.
NEW YORK – September 3, 2026 — Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media.
In making the announcement, FOX News Media said, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
Maria Bartiromo became increasingly popular amid the MAGA base during the research and revelations surrounding the ‘Spygate’ and ‘Russiagate’ storyline. Bartiromo often had several guests on her Sunday Morning Futures program that highlighted evidence of the corruption in the DOJ, FBI and U.S Intelligence Community. However, it also became more visible that Bartiromo was navigating between sensitive topics that often ran counter to the professional republican class interests in Washington DC.
Over the past few years Bartiromo softened her focus toward corrupt endeavors and began staying away from the most controversial aspects of how the structures of government operate. In a time when nearly all U.S. institutional credibility has crumbled, Bartiromo found herself in that awkward spot where you try to act like you’re not noticing the moment in the show when the marionette strings become visible.

But the breaking point may have been her sharing of a company e-mail with President Trump, according to a person familiar with the matter. A Fox News representative did not immediately respond to request for comment.
Bartiromo, who was earning around $6 million a year, was anchor of the daily Fox Business Network program “Mornings with Maria,” which starting Friday will be called “Mornings with Fox Business.” Her weekend program “Sunday Morning Futures” will continue with fill-in hosts until a permanent replacement is named.” (source)
There is always that moment of choice, that time when your influence and affluence no longer run in alignment with uncomfortable truth. It’s a strange dynamic to watch unfold and even more strange when your proximity to the person gives you a different perspective than the average.
Bartiromo did as much as she could, until she couldn’t.
It will be interesting, or not, to see what comes next.

NEW: The Maria Bartiromo backstory, per multiple sources familiar….
Maria Bartiromo wanted to pursue a story related to China and 2020 election voting conspiracies… a major sensitivity for the network given its Dominion and Smartmatic lawsuits.
A Fox Business executive sent a text to Fox Business producers informing them that that story could not go to air.
Bartiromo took a screen shot of the guidance and sent it to senior White House officials.
Fox News leadership learned about that after receiving a call from the White House, which they viewed as a fireable offense.
Fox pulled Bartiromo from air after Aug. 9. She was fired today. I have also learned that her executive producer Patrick Ignozzi was also fired after the annoucnement.

Follow up reporting says that Maria wanted to do a story about Chinese connections to 2020 election rigging. FOX shut her down, so she showed President Trump the internal communications from FOX nixing the story. FOX fired her.
If all of the above is true, then everything below is also true:
1. FOX is a fake news network, and true MAGA supporters are right to hate them.
2. Maria did the right thing in letting President Trump know. I don’t care what her motives were-notifying President Trump was the right thing to do.
3. FOX was correct in firing Maria. She leaked internal workplace communications, knowing that it would damage FOX. A company has the right to fire an employee for doing that.
5. FOX still sucks, and Maria has the right to sue FOX if she believes she was damaged by them. Sort it out in a court room. That’s the American Way.
6. Based on Maria’s history and associations, I don’t trust her as far as I could throw her. She would be a lousy choice for Press Secretary. We don’t need a court to adjudicate that.
FOX News with a very few exceptions, is controlled opposition.
If you stray outside the fenced in area, you will be “released.”
The amount of FOX coverage of this crazy lady Clancy who murdered her 3 kids is an example
of how the “opposition controlled” press functions.
There are literally a dozen or more stories more important happening in our world.
But the controlled Media does not want you to consider those stories.
Fox news was a controlled opposition from the beginning.

Fox took part in the 2020 steal. I feel like everyone should have known then. Fake polls, calling Az, etc. Fox is vichy republicanism. I still watch Gutfield and sometimes the 5. But I don’t expect much.
FOX was too stupid to go to court with Dominion Voting . . . and gave them 100s of millions . . . .
As the evidence continues to mount, only the out of touch with reality types think the 2020 election was honest.
That money paid by FOX to Dominion was laundered.

Condoning treason and sedition is not a good reason to fire an employee who objects to such behavior . The fourth estate has a patriotic responsibility just like everybody else . Solution ? Toss the Murdochs out on their ear and auction off the spoils .
All but stopped watching any show on Fox save for the occasional Ingrahm Angle. Fox’s web site is even worse and reminds of the National Enquirer. Nothing but ads and click bait stories.
Wow, the White House really handled that with discretion.
Yea why Would Trump get her into trouble?
She is one of them.
What the Heck does that mean ?
Don’t know what the real truth is about her leaving Fox, and we probably won’t know until she speaks on the matter herself, and even then she will probably only say what her attorney is okay with her saying.
But there is a story out today (from John Solomon, so take that for what it is worth) saying she was not fired (in the technical sense) but remains a Fox employee under pay until her contract expires in 2029. That sounds similar to Carlson’s Fox contract and departure. I sure hope that whatever the terms of the contract say, she will soon be able to resume reporting and commenting on the news and will not be silenced until 2029.
Perhaps she will be the next Press Secretary. Bahh BOOOM!

I saw the segment in which Bret Baier called the Arizona election for Biden early. That was the last time I watched Fox News.
