Prior to heading into court earlier today, President Donald Trump was asked about whether he would accept a nomination to be Speaker of the House if the Republican caucus requested it. President Trump’s response is below. WATCH (prompted):
President Trump said he would do whatever is needed to be of interim benefit to the Republican Party and to the House leadership, as the quest for the White House continues. This guy is literally carrying the hopes of the nation, those who comprehend the status of our tenuous constitutional republic, on his shoulders. Incredible strength.
President Trump is fighting to defend his businesses, fighting to defend his family, fighting to defend himself from malicious prosecution and lawfare, fighting to defend our nation, and fighting to return to the office of the presidency….. and yet, with all of that placed on his shoulders, he’s willing to stand in as Speaker of the House if that is what is in our nation’s best interest.
Let all of that sink in while you pray for him. Then think of the insignificance of the gnats who would challenge him for office.
Sidenote: Nice to see Eric Trump standing resolute with President Trump. Eric was selected by his father to be the leader of the Trump Organization, an excellent choice.
I actually had tears in my eyes when I saw Don Jr. there supporting his Father, our very Great and Special President.
These numb- nuts trying to prosecute Trump and family really don’t understand what it means to stand for truth.
They are lost in pretty much, an increasingly lost world. Where a Father and family are criminals because they are successful, honest in their business dealings, and are wealthy because of those traits.

How descriptive of it all. Written in 1940 just after Germany started WW II and a year before US entered WW II in 1941. Be careful not to be the ‘targeted victim’ for others to use for their benefit and your downfall, unless the result is what you want.
What came to mind, immediately, was that the Dems in Congress disliked McCarthy going directly to the Executive branch to make a secret deal, as much as the Republican Eight, and voted accordingly. Dems do not like Republicans adding mud to their already muddy waters.
Several possibilities. Gaetz referred to this one, that “we, the senate, and the white house all have something in common – McCarthy lied to us all”. Alternately, the Democrats think they can cause chaos, and/or another shutdown, and hope their allied media buddies can strategically pin it on the “republican party meltdown” and play it into political advantage.
Because they’re Democrats?
Dems probably thought it would cause total chaos or perhaps they had been recipients of broken promises too?

On a side note I would like to state that DJT may be a better Speaker then President. So many of the failures in our gov come from a broken congress. I would like to see that change.
Only way I could see it happening is with an agreement not to run for President. Even then there are probably enough Never Trumpers to stop it.
Free Speech Immunity on House Floor. Being both in consecutive order an unprecedented move and huge benefit to Aligning ‘an Unconstitutional Acting Gov’t with the Constitution. Legislate then Enforce it.

What a father, and what a family. It occurred to me today that DJT has put his entire carefully built and tended fortune on the line FOR US. He is literally cashing out a huge part of that as his legacy TO US. His kids he has guided in building their own enterprises, but a giant part of what could have been THEIR inheritance, their father is spending on we citizens of this Republic who treasure it, and him.
