At the same time, Obama’s AG Eric Holder created the DOJ National Security Division and then weaponized surveillance under the auspices of FARA and FISA Courts to target one side of the political dynamic. He did and what he did was spot on, and it got him in trouble with the DC Swamp, who decided Nunes was a threat to expose the activities of the Bureaucratic State. Nunes is from California and when the Demcommies took over the House in January of 2019, he was no longer in the Government. He is the one who discovered the abuses of the FISA warrant system when Jim Comey was in charge at the FBI. At the end of 2018 he produced his unfinished report on the Trump/Russia Collusion fiction before the new Chairman, Adam Schiff, could destroy what he did and make it disappear. In my opinion, Nunes is lucky he is still alive and is back home with his family.
He lays out the obvious crimes that we already know about and then insinuates you should be grateful the “Republicans” made you aware of this…. so much suspicious attention to how great the “Republicans” are. Why dont people pay attention? There is an obvious control element here.
Nunes knows people are increasingly and rightfully seeing the Uni-party as the only party in DC. The Uniparty cabal fear this a lot. Dont let them reel you back into a box.
In the Republican world of having no control over either the 4th branch or the major media outlets, the assertion that the DC Swamp is somehow corrupt must be backed up with indisputable facts by any Repug. When the Swamp is doing everything they can to hide the truth, it is hard to acquire enough information to reveal the truth. So, my question for you is, how do you know the evil deeds are being dreamed up by both parties?
I see the never Trump Republicans resorting to the deceit of not saying anything in defense of Trump because they are caught in allowing the crimes to be committed and they will be hammered in the media for being complicit. They pretty much stand on the sidelines and let the Demcommie attacks against Trump do the damage to him and hope that they can only be damaged by what they say. Nunes did what he could, given the limitations he worked under, and was never apprised of the what the SSCI Chairman and Vice-Chairman knew about the truth. All he had was a suspicion that the truth was not being revealed to him about the FISA Warrants. You can run the Republicans as far up the flag pole as you want and many of them richly deserve it. But they will never hang as high as the people who concocted the story and tried to Impeach trump with their own lies.
I agree with you that most of the Swamp is corrupt and it doesn’t matter which Party they are from. But that doesn’t explain why all of the minority of MAGA politicians in the DC Swamp turn out to be Republicans. Did Trump ever have a chance in Hell of being the Democrat nominee? So there is a significant difference between the two Parties, even if you can’t see it. As I see it, where Devin Nunes is concerned, you are clearly barking up the wrong tree.

Some of the people commenting here are opposed to all Republicans because the moneyed interests at the top and their dependents were afraid they would lose too many big donors if Trump became the Republican candidate in 2016. The only reason I can think of for this blanket dismissal of all Republicans is that Demcommie trolls are working to divide Trump’s constituency for the next election while the top Demcommies are flailing around trying to put Trump in jail. A lot of them, except for the rich boys, are on our side. The data shows Republicans voted the highest percentages for Trump and Democrats the lowest percentages for Trump in the 2016 and 2020 elections. Nunes knows who all the bad guys in the Republican Party are, but he also knows the tiny percentage of the Democrats who are not. This has been the way Party politics has always been. There are no perfect people anywhere, we are all different right down to what we think, which is why we used to believe elections by We the People would choose the winners from among the candidates the majority of us want. Political Parties were frowned on, but the founders also knew they were inevitable no matter how the Government was set up.
For instance, you and I have a different view of Devin Nunes and yet we both want Donald J Trump to Make America Great Again. Just so there is no confusion on this, I thought Mike Pence was the worst selection of a VP candidate that I had ever seen. But I saw that as Trump not knowing how the inside game was being played when he chose his running mate and when they foisted the plandemic upon us. Trump has now figured out nearly all of it and will make an even better President if we can get him back to the White House.
I don’t believe for a second that the candidate gets to pick their VP. I believe the RNC/DNC pick the VP. Maybe the candidate gets to weigh in but I don’t believe the big clubs care much what they think.
Maybe so, but Trump said he picked Mike Pence, and I always thought the VP is picked for two reasons. 1) He can help them carry a State the the Presidential candidate may have trouble winning. 2) He usually wants a side kick who has no chance of becoming more popular than the President while he is in office. I don’t know why Trump chose Pence, but I always suspected Pence was a choice that might actually accept the VP position on a Trump ticket.

AG Merrick Garland is NOT allowed to appoint David Weiss as special counsel.
Garland is defying federal regulations.
He only can name someone “outside the United States government” (28 CFR 600.03).
So, the fix is in

Durham was falsely made a Special Counsel. Durham was a United States Attorney and answered to Bill Barr and therefore could not be a “Special Counsel.”

I know I’m naive to a point, but it never ceases to amaze me just how many people in Washington DC are more than willing to sell out their country for money or power or perks or any number of things. I personally don’t know anyone who would do that. Not just the people I know who have actually fought for this country, but ordinary people who would never do the things these people do. Washington DC is like some kind of evil bug light that attracts evil people. Next thing you know, they’re buzzing around this light, attracted to the evil. Maybe it’s sorta like Las Vegas attracting gamblers and criminals. Washington DC was built on a swamp. I’m thinking that ground might have been cursed in some way and we’re all living out the consequences of that curse.

Among the few things other than campaign involvement IS to write strongly worded letters, but how many here actually bother to write? Or call? If CTH treepers were constantly, conscientiously writing our representatives and senators, EVERY time, they would be overwhelmed with the numbers of concerned citizens. Yet, a representative told me that if he gets 6 emails and 10 phone calls about a piece of legislation or a particular issue, it is unusual.
If everyone was continuously writing and calling, there would be thousands of calls and emails.
I have sat face to face with my Rep and expressed my concerns.

This Special Counsel Appointment is for ONE purpose. It is because they know Congress is about to start calling the DOJ and FBI and those people can now claim “On Going” Investigation and don’t have to answer questions.

Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas Bud Cummins told Just the News on Friday, “The requirement to appoint an attorney from outside of government appears so clear that one must suppose DOJ has conjured some way to work around it in the cases of both Durham and Weiss.”
“It really looks like an assignment under 600.2(c) where you really don’t appoint an independent special counsel, you use the same players but just make a few internal adjustments about supervision and reporting (‘appropriate steps be taken to mitigate any conflicts of interest, such as recusal of particular officials.’) If that’s the case, calling him a ‘Special Counsel’ is inaccurate and deceptive,” Cummins added.
Cummins also described the Weiss appointment as “Lipstick on a pig.’ Weiss is a politicized prosecutor who has already demonstrated he is a disgrace to the authorities entrusted to him. Suggesting he has magically been transformed into an independent actor is a ridiculous sham. He is literally the reason a Special Counsel should have been assigned years ago. At this point the serious charges cannot be brought due to Weiss’s intentional lack of initiative. The only thing gained now by pretending he wears a new hat is to throw a blanket of silence over the whole affair until Thanksgiving 2024.”
Devin Nunes was the only honest man in Congress, and he couldn’t stand the smell of bad fish everywhere he went, and decided to go home. This man speaks volumes and nobody ever listens because they didn’t even know who he was. I think Nunes would make a great VP, because he could ride on the front of the air boat as Trump tries to navigate the damned DC Swamp.
