Much has been made of the events of January 6, 2021, and with the latest broadcast of CCTV video from inside the Capitol Hill complex, more questions have been raised.
Within the questions: the FBI and government apparatus had advanced knowledge of the scale of the J6 mall assembly yet doing nothing? Why were the Capitol Hill police never informed of the FBI concerns? Why didn’t House Speaker Nancy Pelosi secure the Capitol Hill complex, and why did she deny the request by President Trump to call up the national guard for security support? Why did the FBI have agent provocateurs in the crowd, seemingly stimulating rage within a peaceful crowd to enter the Capitol building? There have always been these nagging questions around ‘why’?
Long time CTH reader “Regitiger” has spent a great deal of time reviewing the entire process, looking at the granular timeline and then overlaying the bigger picture of the constitutional and parliamentary process itself. What follows below is a brilliant analysis of the federal government motive to create a J6 crisis that permitted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to trigger an emergency session and avoid the 2020 election certification challenges.
Those congressional floor challenges, known and anticipated well in advance of the morning of January 6, 2021, would have formed a legal and constitutional basis for ‘standing’ in judicial challenges that would have eventually reached the Supreme Court. The certification during “emergency session” eliminated the problem for Washington DC.
Regitiger explains below, only edited by me for clarity and context:
I think most, not all, but a large number of people, are totally missing what happened; and why this happened on Jan 6th. I am going to try my best to outline the events that day, blast past the commonly held assumptions and get right down to the core corruption.
I will present this as a series of questions and answers.
♦ Q1: How do you prevent congress from delaying the certification of state electoral votes?
A: It requires a crisis. A crisis that creates an “emergency” …An “emergency” that invokes special house rules.
FACTS: Remember carefully, focus please. Just moments, literally 3 minutes before two representatives issued a vote for motions to suspend the certification, the House members were “informed” by capitol police and other “agents” that a protest was about to breach the chambers. It was at this time that key people: Pence, Pelosi, Schumer, Mcconnell can be seen being walked out and escorted from the chamber. This effectively halted the Entire Chamber Process.
♦ Q2: Why was it necessary to halt the chamber process?
A: The crisis was created to eliminate the motion challenges to halt the certification and to begin voting to look into voting irregularities and fraud
FACTS: The two motions were completely legal and constitutional under at least two constitutionally recognized procedures… procedures that would REQUIRE the house to pause the certification and then vote to determine whether the motions of suspend could move forward.
♦ Q3: What was so important to refuse this motion and the subsequent votes to suspend the electoral certification?
A: It was important to remove that process entirely and continue the fraud and certify the fraud with no detractors on record. This effectively gives no standing for a SCOTUS ruling appeal! Understand this. If those two motions, even just one had successfully been voted EVEN IF THE MOTIONS were DENIED IN VOTE, this gives those who presented them with STANDING FOR A CONSTITUTIONAL LEGAL ARGUMENT BEFORE SCOTUS.
♦ Q4: Could this have been done some other way other than creating a crisis/protest?
A: Unlikely. In order to prevent those two motions, requires that speaker of the house, minority leaders, and the president of the congress (vice president of the United States: Pence), to NOT BE PRESENT IN THE CHAMBERS.
Once the capitol police and other “law enforcements agents” informed the speaker and these three other individuals, Pelosi UNILATERALLY UNDER EMERGENCY RULES, suspended the business of the congress. This protest was necessary. The crisis was created because there is no other way to suspend the business of certification UNILATERALLY. By creating a crisis invokes emergency procedures. No other circumstances other than war or mass simultaneous explosive diarrhea can create such unilateral speaker delivered suspension of the certification.
♦ Q5: Why did the motions, once that the speaker RECONVENED congress, move forward back again to the floor for votes? Why were members disallowed to even consider putting forward ANY motions to the floor in when the chamber business was reopened?
A: The Speaker initiated the NEW sessions under special emergency rules. These rules abandon and make it clear that the ONLY purpose of the new session was to EXPEDITE the certification and dismiss all prior regular session procedural rules. This is why those two motions to table votes to consider a debate and pause to the certifications of state vote electors never happened later that evening when the house business was reconvened!
♦ Q6: Other than new rules, emergency rules, what other peculiar things occurred when the speaker reconvened?
A: Members were allowed to “vote” in proxy, remotely, not being present. You can use your imagination about what conditions were placed on ALL members during this time to prevent anyone from “getting out of line”.
Also clearly, it was at THIS NEW SESSION that VP Pence, President of Congress, would also have no ability to even consider pausing the electoral certification, because there were no motions of disagreements on the matter. So, in a technical legal claim, he is correct that he had no constitutional authority to address any issues of fraud or doubts about electoral irregularities. But this completely dismisses the FACT that congress created rules in this crisis/emergency that never allowed them to be floored!
Understand what happened in Jan 6, 2021. Don’t get hung up on Viking impostors, stolen Pelosi computers, podium heists, and complicit capitol police. Understand the process and what happened and what WAS NOT ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.
This was a coup….it was a very organized and carefully planned coup. VP Pence without a doubt as well as most members of the house were quite aware of how the certification was going to be MANAGED. It would require new rules to prevent the debate clause from occurring! New rules that ONLY AN EMERGENCY CRISIS COULD CREATE! So, they created an emergency.
•NOTED: I understand why many people have great interest in debunking the j6 event. I get that. I think it is important to dissect and examine the events of that day but please, step back and understand WHY these things happened. Examine the chain of events in congress. Why those two motions that would have at least paused the certification THAT WOULD GIVE VP PENCE THE CONSTITUTIONALLY RECOGNIZED POWER TO MOVE TO SUSPEND THE ELECTORAL CERTIFICATION AND THEN EXAMINE THE IRREGULARITIES AND CLAIMS OF FRAUD!
At the very center of this coup stands Mike Pence, the same individual who also spoiled President Trump’s first opportunities in the earlies hours of his Presidency just 4 years prior, when he created and facilitated the removal of Lt General Michael Flynn. I will not spend much time on this thread explaining why Lt Gen Flynn was so important to President Trump and why the IC was so afraid he would have advisory power to the President. That I will leave for another day, another time. But understand this clearly: MIKE PENCE WAS AND IS WORKING FOR THE MOST CORRUPT CRIMINAL TREASONOUS PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT.
•PRO TIP: If you really want to get a true understanding of this matter videos of protesters walking in the capitol is not going to address them. Actual video and timeline records of events and the specific actions taken by the speaker just moments before TWO MAJOR ELECTORAL ALTERING MOTIONS WERE ABOUT TO BE FLOORED.
This crisis was developed just in time with a precise coordination to prevent those two motions to be entered into the chamber record. The two motions do not exist. The emergency powers established in the new session made sure they never could be entered. The emergency powers could never happen without a crisis.

I was watching the certification live that day. I recorded it ALL on every channel. I was doing this because no matter what happened that day, I KNEW IT WOULD BE A PROFOUND AND SIGNIFICANT EVENT TO REMEMBER. I never in my wildest imagination (and I have a pretty vivid imagination, always have), expected to see the unmistakable perfectly timed “coincidences” that occurred.
One member raises a motion (with another in waiting for his turn) those two motions were well known and advertised. These were motions to vote for a pause in the certification to examine electoral vote fraud and irregularities. I can’t speak to the veracity and substance of those motions. They were never allowed to even be floored. it was at that exact moment that the house chambers were suspended and 4 of the key members, Pence, Pelosi, Schumer and McConnell were escorted OUT right after initiating the end of the session.
Effectively, this resulted in that motion never being floored at all. Then, when reconvened under special emergency rules, inexplicably those two motions (and perhaps more – we will never know – or will we?) were not even attempted to be motioned. That was not just peculiar to me.
It all started to make more sense when I did some study on constitutional law AND THE HISTORY of specific special authorities given to president of the congress, Pence in this case. Not only did he have the authority and power to suspend the certification, but the duty to address the motion in the same sense that it becomes vital to the debate clause.
There really is no higher significance of weight given to the debate clause than the certification of the votes. This was more than odd to me the way that the media and pence framed their narrative: Pence would not have the constitutional power to suspend certification. Then it hit me, like the obvious clue that was there all the time. He was right. But the reason he is right, is because there WAS NO MOTION ON THE FLOOR TO CAUSE HIM TO SUSPEND!
Understanding this, happened for me about 4 or 5 months after this Jan 6 day. I took me this long to examine the facts, look at the video again, compare it to the arguments made by several leading constitutional academics, and again, inexplicably even some that I respect seemed to dodge that central reality. The motions were never allowed to be floored in the re-convened house rules later that evening. Most would not even venture to address the exotically coincidence that the moment those two members would stand to place the motion before the house, that the House Speaker Pelosi AND Pence ended the session, effectively blocking the motions from being heard in normal house rules.
It’s been a journey for me. A journey that was initiated because I am just a simple but curious person. Perhaps even to a point where I get obsessive in those efforts. Many days and nights combing over the details. praying and trying to make sense of what makes little sense. With over 6 states having serious well known and obvious defects in the voting process, some more credible to believe – some less, but one would not expect the house would be so deliberate in marching past the motions that were definitely going to be present to slow this process down and take the time to get it right. Even IF the claims never reached an intersection that would change the outcome.
There are two possibilities: Millions of people, against all the odds, hitting all-time records even past Obama and Clinton, voted for a naval gazing ambulatory pathological racist moron. And chose Joe Malarkey as their leader. Or this was a coup, a conspiracy, and a treasonous manipulation regime change because President Trump could not be controlled by the deep state and globalists who OWN AND OPERATE WASHINGTON DC.
BOTH POSSIBILITIES ARE TERRIFYING.
The only way for THE PEOPLE to gain power in this country is to force the transfer of it. If truth isn’t the fuel and vehicle, we will just be replacing deck chairs and hitting the next series of expected ice bergs.
Knowing the truth is not enough; however, it is truth that makes it a righteous cause.

Julie Kelly – […] Just as the first wave of protesters breached the building shortly after 2 p.m., congressional Republicans were poised to present evidence of rampant voting fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Ten incumbent and four newly-elected Republican senators planned to work with their House colleagues to demand the formation of an audit commission to investigate election “irregularities” in the 2020 election. Absent an audit, the group of senators, including Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) pledged to reject the Electoral College results from the disputed states.
The Hail Mary effort was doomed to fail; yet the American people would have heard hours of debate related to provable election fraud over the course of the day.
And no one opposed the effort more than ex-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
During a conference call on December 31, 2020, McConnell urged his Republican Senate colleagues to abandon plans to object to the certification, insisting his vote to certify the 2020 election results would be “the most consequential I have ever cast” in his 36-year Senate career.
From the Senate floor on the afternoon of January 6, McConnell gave a dramatic speech warning of the dire consequences to the country should Republicans succeed in delaying the vote. He downplayed examples of voting fraud and even mocked the fact that Trump-appointed judges rejected election lawsuits.
“The voters, the courts, and the States have all spoken,” McConnell insisted. “If we overrule them, it would damage our Republic forever. If this election were overturned by mere allegations from the losing side, our democracy would enter a death spiral.”
Roughly six hours later, McConnell got his way. Cowed by the crowd of largely peaceful Americans allowed into the building by Capitol police, most Republican senators backed off the audit proposal. McConnell, echoing hyperbolic talking points about an “insurrection” seeded earlier in the day by Democratic lawmakers and the news media, gloated. “They tried to disrupt our democracy,” he declared on the Senate floor after Congress reconvened around 8 p.m. “This failed attempt to obstruct Congress, this failed insurrection, only underscores how crucial the task before us is for our Republic.”

Yeah. It certainly does have the ring of truth. And also, a lot of things I’ve heard NO ONE ELSE TALK ABOUT. It’s the missing piece of the puzzle that has bugged me since the “smart” people started saying that Pence – as presiding President of Congress – was nothing more than “ceremonial” according to the constitution. That never made sense to me. Our founders didn’t waste words on such things for ceremony. I will also hypothesize that many of those suits prior to certification, were thrown out because this was in the works and the corrupted judges never had to worry about being overruled by SCOTUS. Infuriating.
Edit: It also explains why the usual suspects keep telling us to “move on” from 2020, and not “relitigate the past.” Hell no, they don’t want people looking too closely …

Thank you regitiger for your amazing analysis most certainly still timely. I remember when SD first posted it. Filled in many blanks for me like why SCOTUS stated there was no standing and would not hear any of the fraud cases when the evidence was documented by several on the POTUS Trump team. Tempered my anger to read it was all part of the design and steeled me to move forward.
Regitiger – it would be great if you could sum up your position in one sentence as a question preferably so people can post it everywhere and get people thinking.
For example, I’m going to present this on Quora in a few different ways to see what sticks. If framed properly, it will get people who are smart to look it up before they try to dismiss it.

Regitiger – I need a source for those motions man – you got it? I’ve looked everywhere and cannot find the two dudes who motioned for audit on j6.
It had to be more people to allow the election to be stolen since Congress has the authority to certify the states’ electoral votes. You had to have Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, and McCarthy involved. Without the top leadership, the way the count is described in the Electoral Count Act (2021 version), Pence’s “authority” would be insufficient to achieve what you claim. To prove that, you need to provide the Constitutional and statutory evidence that spells out the authority that Pence has to “send Electors back to the states.” I looked for it since this first came up. I could not find it. I keep finding evidence that it is solely the authority of the Congress. Since you are so adamant, I assume you found something. What is it?

Thanks Sundance for this post, as it answers my question as to whether Pence was just to stupid to do his job, and had been duped, or if he was in on it. He was in on it. And I knew that no chin McConnel was in on it. Also I had figured out that the pipe bomb’s reason for being there.
Having know some Democrats and experienced some behind the scenes scenarios in the political world at a State level…I could see this happening as it was described and I would be the entire plan was developed prior to the November election as Insurance in case the fix failed or was exposed in some way. Thank you for reposting this, Sundance. I’ve read this several times (when it was originally published and again today), and I have a question, or two.
Now that we know who, and we know how, is there anything we can do to a) prove this, bring it to a higher authority and b) criminally charge the participants?
This makes so much sense. There has to be a way to bring charges against Pelosi, Pence, McConnell, Schummer, and McCarthy.
You KNOW the rest of Congress knows how this went down. You KNOW that most of them were read in before it happened. These people are not masterminds, and they are in deep, up to their necks, that only those without a conscious aren’t scared it will come out.
We can’t turn to the Supreme Court for this, but there must be some way of getting one of them to crack and turn on the rest, or some piece of truth revealed that they never counted on anyone discovering: like the FBI never found the “pipe bomber” and regitiger’s timeline and explanation.
Anyone have any ideas? I’m so disgusted with these horrible creatures that have no morals, no integrity, no sense of guilt or shame. Disgusting. I want to see them pay the maximum penalty for their sins.
If Congress established under its existing Art. I powers a new security service to act as an alternative in competition to the federal law enforcement services, this new security service could investigate and charge the guilty, and was defined to only charge government officials or elected politicians.
The power is there today in Art. I: in the dormant Militia clauses. Remember, Congress can define that definition as anything it wants. It doesn’t have to be just local defense forces as envisioned by the Founders. It can be that public civilian State force, as well as also consisting of permanent command and investigative staff who can legally bring this to that higher authority you write about.
Now come the fun stuff. That “higher authority” can also be established by Congress in Art. I. A new Art. III court system to handle these Militia cases can also be enacted by Congress, much as the US Armed Forces is governed by the UCMJ and military court system. Congress can easily establish those regulations, too. This new Art. III “honor court” can legally try those cases.
This new alternate security service and judicial silo can also arrest the other Art. III judges, and find them guilty, too. If they’re guilty, of course. And we know they are.

Article 2 of the Constitution limits the Executive with the authority to “see to it that the laws are faithfully executed,” which means “the laws are enforced”–Law enforcement. The President is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.
As I recall things on this site, back in 2018-2019, Sundance wrote about Pelosi planning to usurp Presidential authority in law enforcement by using such devices as Congressional oversight committees to become like grand juries to investigate Trump and any Republican the incites her anger. The J6 committee is a good example of a legislative grand jury.
While I cringe while rereading this article, the machinations appear to be legal; and not prosecutable. Pelosi had every right to do what she did; even though the circumstances were created. At around 1 pm Gosar and Cruz filed an objection for the Arizona Electors (11). Debate was started. At around 2.29 pm the House went into Recess because of the Mayhem/Protest. Debate was halted. At 9.02 pm The House and Senate Reconvened (I do not see anything about it being an Emergency Session in the Record). The debate about the Arizona objection filed by Gosar and Cruz continued (it was not stopped) until about 11 pm. Then there was a vote about the Gosar/Cruz objection (see page 18 in the Record – URL above) in the House, 121 Yea – 303 Nae, not very close the Senate was worse 6 Yae and 93 Nae, objection defeated at 11.05 pm. The Certification continued.
At a little after Midnight Perry and Hawley objected to Pennsylvania being Certified. Debate began. At around 3.05 am, a vote was taken. 138 Yae, 282 Nae (Page 38 in the Congress Record) In the Senate it was 7 Ayes and 92 Naes. This Debate and vote wer not stopped, or prohibited by the “Special Emergency Rules” mentioned in the article above.
Not saying everything is Cool what happened that day. But this Record does not really show anything the above article suggests was happening?

That is just Trump’s opinion as the original Electoral Count Act does not state, and never stated, that the Vice President has that authority. Objections have to be taken up when filed properly. When the count of an individual state’s electoral votes is announced, the Vice President, or whomever is acting as President of the Senate, calls for any objections. When there are none, the Electoral Vote for that state is accepted.
I know this is a drag for a lot of people to be told Trump is wrong about something. I keep challenging people to come up with an Article in Constitution, or the lines in the Electoral Count Act, circa 2021, that describe the Vice President’s authority to “send Electoral Votes back to State Legislatures” UNILATERALLY. In the original Electoral Count Act it is the exclusive authority of Congress to determine by vote the handling of objections to slates of Electors. NOTHING in that statute says anything about the Vice President EVER having that much authority, and why would a Vice President, whose name was on the ballot for reelection, ever be permitted to make a decision like that as an interested party?

as I have stated, my research and conclusions are true. But they are also incomplete. I have also looked at these records. The reason why I stated my summary in the manner in which I did was not to omit certain facts, but that it would not have changed the effect. Votes were taken…there was no debate….under pelosi RULE and the inaction of mike dense to recognize he had the power AND THE DUTY to suspend and have a debate is the matter. I would also point out that these votes were not televised…they were done in secret and by proxy. This concealment, even if we assume were not intentional, complicates the entire premise of certifications of votes for a president. That they be open, that any irregularities be conducted in debate…I realize, like so many have commented, and agree, it is very unlikely that members of congress would have voted favorably to such a debate. The votes you cited as official record, shows this.
I stand by the work. What I would recommend and I do mean this will all seriousness, you come across as a genuinely interested person: perhaps you would like to take it to the next level…fill in the gaps of my report and give it more texture. I am sure there is room for improvement. My only goal here was to tell the truth that was revealed to me by investigating all of the work of congress that day.

Do you not consider the Objection by Perry and Howley at just after midnight a Motion? And the Debate that happened about that objection is not really Debate.

will need video footage to see what actually was happening at that hour. My expectation is that there was probably some people at the capitol even before President Trump arrived. Suggesting and alluding a “clash” happened even the day before in the media.
My view is that the media, like it had done so many times before, had already positioned itself to narrate a certain kind of drama..was this the influence directly from the deep state to falsely escalate the narrative to “riotous” proportions before that even happened? probably. (but to be clear, my research did not address that…I focused solely on what congress did, what it refused to allow….I am aware of many other factors of that day and the days leading up to it…I did not address those, simply because I felt it was necessary to get to the one thing the media and no one was reporting…what actually happened in congress!)

I will be general in my response. it requires that we roll back time …all the way back to boehner and ryan paul. We refer to it as “the pelosi rule”…but it was initiated as far back as boehner. And I will explain it broadly: the house rules were altered such that only a few select members could influence the daily schedule….that the pre-boehner era congress could have a single member FOR ANY REASON…stand up and enter a motion to suspend and invoke the debate clause. they did not abolish the debate clause…they simply rearranged the rules so that this would not be recognized UNLESS key select members of congress approved it. Effectively, it killed the power of YOUR ELECTED MEMBER OF CONGRESS from bucking the system.
further: (the media did not cover this adequately and after I explain this, you will realize why). When McCarthy was to be voted and confirmed by the House, you may recall there was those annoying junior members…about a dozen or so…that blocked the vote to seat him unless the PELOSI rule was killed off. It was a key element that would take…was it 11 times? before the house conceded and some compromises were made. These were not trivial victories to restoring order and a living debate clause in congress.
tldr: pelosi rule had great influence on what could be debated…even voted upon. The few members who were prepared to motion for a suspension and to vote on debate over voting irregularities and fraud allegations, were humping up a very steep hill…and not simply because the merits of the claims they supported were unpopular among the other members (who all wanted to see Trump gone)…but were up against a procedural rule that would never give them power to do much of anything.
we no longer live in the pelosi rule. But make no mistake about it…the same kind of throttling over debate can still happen. the chairman has that power…it’s how pelosi was able to manipulate so many things…most people get the impression it was the dem majority that was the high wall…it was that..but it was the procedures and rules that congress was operating under too.

There is a way out of this mess which requires removal of persons and entities who/which would compromise the validity of our constitutional governmental structure by means of threats against individuals by compromat or otherwise…

Great read. One thing I remember that may/may not mean anything. RINO Sen. Langford (OK) had the floor when the Senate stopped debate. At the time I thought he was an odd addition, unless he was positioning himself to run for re-election soon. Perhaps he was put there to control the floor at the right time.
I always knew Pense was in the know ahead of Jan. 6th. events. He quit talking to the President days ahead of Jan. 6th. If Trump ever gets back in they should rewind the clock and replay that day. The people deserve the real truth, but it’s wishful thinking on my part, because I see it as unfinished business that needs to be addressed.

If Pence didn’t have the authority to hold up proceedings, then he didn’t have the authority to certify their progression.
Said another way, if Pence had the authority to certify, he had the authority to decertify–or refuse to certify.
Pence’s argument: Well, if I didn’t certify, they’d grab me and make my hand scribe my own signature.!
Pence is correct he has no constitutional authority to change the election…that was always conflated bull shit…no one was asking mike dense to change ANYTHING…(he knows this…but mike dense, the stupid, has a limited hard drive and his storage informs him only to repeat rote horse cake.
The president of the senate may suspend the certification of presidential votes on the outcome of ANY motion from any member that seeks to vote on the debate ANYTHING! In this case, it was a debate broadly about voting irregularities and allegations of fraud. This could never be conflated as a vice president OVERTURNING the presidential vote. I can only speculate about what might have happened if those motions were approved and the suspension of the certification happened to allow them. Pelosi, Dense, mcconnel and schumer never allowed this to occur.
so in a sense…mike dense, the sole person who would have the authority to preside over and to suspend the certification, refused. Effectively, by his inaction, dense did overturn the election…He allowed it to proceed without debate about valid and credible claims that would seek to address the legitimacy of the election. He’s not just stupid,…he’s a scoundrel.
keep in mind this: one of the first things that happened after joe malarkey was selected and allowed to become the white house squatter, is that pelosi moved to establish NEW LAW that clear the president of congress any authority and power…that the vice president’s role would be ceremonial only. A rubber stamp. Mike dense never discusses this. he never gives an opinion about why pelosi would seek to establish NEW LAW to strip and vice president of his constitutional authority and power. There are few other officials in DC whom I dislike more than mike dense. And frankly, I really truly wish President Trump would stop giving the jackass any compliments. He is unworthy of them.

Congress certifies the election, not the Vice President. That would no different, since Pence was running for reelection with Trump, than Hobbs not recusing as Secretary of State in the Arizona gubernatorial election last year.

Our founding Fathers I have come to admire more and more…they were very prescient and their enduring comments from more than 200 years ago are being revealed in bold relief today. John Adams the 2nd President of our Nation said this: “Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other. ” Ben Franklin in answer to a lady asking him what they (the founders) have given us? He said “A Republic if you can keep it.” “The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury.” George Washington. It is said that the greatest gift of the founders was their unabashed understanding of the human heart and of God’s view expressed in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”. I learned somewhere that this verse was instrumental in their forming a Government with 3 distinct branches so they could form a check on each other..
I disagree. The founding fathers set up another British empire for the wealthy. Have you actually read what Hamilton and Washington thought of the masses? They thought democracy was a disgusting ideology – mob rule. They thought only the privileged and educated should vote. Do a little reading, the founding fathers are the reason for the situation we are in. I mean, do you see any restrictions on money influencing gov whatsoever in the constitution? The Founding Fathers rightly believed in a HIGHER LAW than the transient collective will of the mob… they rightly believed and upheld Natural Law which is why Individual Rights were STRONGER than the powers of any powers of the government and an individuals rights can onky by violated or curtailed if they are convicted of a crime oin a court of law by a jury of 12 of their peers. The Founders were most concerned with protecting OUR SACRED RIGHTS AS INDIVIDUALS which is the very crux of Natural Law (and from where the government derives its powers) from the abuses of the mob and the government itself… and a Representative Republic was and still is the best form of government to accomplish this task.
Oh, and only the “privileged and educated” paid taxes back then… Should those who contributed nothing to the funding, forming and operation of the government have been allowed to control and usurp it? Those same citizens STILL had representation at the State level which was higher than federal authority. The ONLY time federal authority is legally higher than state authority is when a State has a dispute with another state and in issues related to national defense, immigration and international trade and treaty policy.
If you really believe the lawless, wicked tyranny we have now is the fault of the Founders then you have been misinformed and miseducated on these matters.
Our nation is foundering not because the foundational laws of the Founders are being followed, but because they have been wholesale rejected by criminals and traitors holding high positions of power within the existing, illegally bloated power structures of the government.

Are you implying that Thomas Jefferson didn’t believe what he said when he wrote the Declaration of Independence? But the statements made in that document don’t mean that there are not individual differences; the founding fathers were honest and upfront about that as with other issues. Not everyone is fit to be a representative; unfortunately, at present what gets people into those slots often has little to do with genuine merit. So we end up with the likes of Nancy Pelosi deciding our collective fates.
No they weren’t. Jefferson was hobbled by Hamiltons intentions to corrupt the government. Hamilton Madison and Washington gave zero care about the people, this judging by their actions and their quotes. They were federalists who fought for the elite. Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence was summarily excluded from the constitution. Which is why to this day everyone thinks the constitution was made for the rights of the people, when it enumerated no such thing.

There was only indirect taxation from tariffs and excise taxes allowed under the Constitution, so they could not envision a people who would vote themselves into tax slavery as we have now.

I would guess that only a focused party holding control of all three branches could possibly bring that to light and possibly do something about it.
