Office of Inspector General Michael Horowitz testified yesterday that more than 3.4 million search queries into the NSA database took place between Dec. 1st, 2020 and Nov. 30th, 2021, by government officials and/or contractors working on behalf of the federal government. These search queries were based on authorizations related to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
[OIG Testimony HERE]
Approximately 30% of those 3.4 million search queries were outside the rules and regulations that govern warrantless searches, what the politically correct government calls “non-compliant searches.”
Additionally, IG Horowitz also admitted that somewhere north of 10,000 federal employees have access to conduct these searches of the NSA database; a database which contains the electronic data of every single American, including emails, text messages, social media posts, instant messages, direct messages, phone calls, geolocation identifiers, purchases by electronic funds, banking records and any keystroke any American person puts into any electronic device for any reason.
If we were in a functioning system of government everything would be stopped right now, and no conversation would be taking place that was not about this issue. This is the total and complete surveillance state being talked about as if we were discussing what’s for dinner.
This is beyond jaw-dropping.
Context: In 2018 CTH revealed through research of their own documents that FBI and DOJ/FBI contractors had done more than 1,000 illegal searches using the NSA database, targeting Republican primary candidates from November 2015 through May 2016. These stunning admissions were from the DOJ’s own reporting to the FISA court.
Few were paying attention.
Although the number of the illegal search queries were redacted, we know the number is four digits from the size of the redacted text. More than 1,000 and less than 9,999.
FAST FORWARD TO 2023 – Yesterday, IG Horowitz outlined that more than 1.1 million illegal searches of this database were conducted in 2021 during the first year of the Joe Biden administration.
Additionally, and perhaps more consequentially, to give scope to how the process of total domestic surveillance has expanded, Horowitz now admits in 2021 the number of federal government employees with access to this total metadata collection system now exceeds 10,000 people. STOP THE PRESSES!
Yes, congress is talking about this ‘as if’ there is some level of importance. However, the basic questions are not being asked, or have perhaps just become so accepted that legislators have become oblivious to the insanity of it. Beyond the blood boiling questions about searching the NSA database, questions like:
In order for these search queries to take place, there has to be a housing facility to capture it.
Where is all of this electronic data being stored?
Why is all of this electronic data being stored?
Who is in control of this all-encompassing electronic data collection?
Forget the searches for a moment, what act of congress authorized the capture of this private data collection? Essentially electronic intercepts of communication systems that flow throughout our life.
The background context here is congress debating the renewal of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the power of the DOJ and FBI to intercept American citizen communication and electronic data via the “702” authorizations, that permit the NSA database to be searched and queried.
If the inspector general is now admitting the FISA laws have been so comprehensively corrupted such that 3.4 million searches by more than 10,000 federal employees and government contractors now have access, there is no way that any reasonably intelligent person should support such reauthorization. Even contemplating this request is absurd, beyond absurd.
The United States government is admitting to the public that a total and comprehensive surveillance state is currently in place, and 10,000 federal government agents have the authorization to monitor everything we do.
This is the admitted and current status of RIGHT NOW. Yet people are worried about possible ‘vaccination passports’ or ‘digital currencies’ or ‘social credit scores’ sometime in the future?
Have we totally lost connection to the reality of our current condition?
Can you see the insanity of it?…
… Or should we just ask, “what’s for dinner?”

Republicans support someone mass surveillance. Always have.
That is why I would never let somebody call me a republican. I’m a patriot. Spy on a patriot at your own risk…
well they’ve been doing just that for most of a decade. obviously there is no risk .
.
Let Section 702 expire, don’t renew it. Repeal the entire Patriot Act
Indeed, the entire post 9/11 experiment of turn the FBI into a MI5 – domestic intelligence organization – is a failed experiment.
Before FISA they were doing mass spying on Americans using the DEA. Currently the Post Office is in charge of social media surveillance. When FISA is gone they will use a different agency to do the same thing.
The solution is to arrest, try, and convict federal agents that break their oath. Convict them of treason.
And then hang the shiit out of them…
And get rid of the DHS!
Nothing to see here. Move along. Nothing to see. This did not happen and will not be mentioned again.
Occam’s razor screams out the solution!!!!!!
Make “null” all, ALL, 100% of, the massive databases that exists either publicly or privately funded …. most likely funds for both types come from our tax dollars.
They didn’t exist several decades ago.
Businesses can do just fine with disjointed files with specific functions versus the huge data warehouses.
They only exist today to facilitate the globalists / communists / democrats / GOPe control of all freedom loving citizens of America.
By all means, go after and prosecute and execute the treasonous offenders using them but …… just UNPLUG them, make them null and immediately the dangers they pose disappear. That also disables the applications that use them……. immediately taking the tools out of the globalists / communists / democrats / GOPe’s hands.
MAGAs have the expertise to track down and do what is needed …….. expeditiously.
Remember, the MAGA movement has the numerical, economic, moral, intellect and armed majorities in America and the best leader President Trump. We built it, we can dismantle it……. no one needs the stinkin’ feds or high tech traitors.
Do it either after 2024 or preferably in 2023, by having President Trump seated as the lawful President of the United States by a rejuvenated “we the people” or “jurist corp.”
Either are capable of doing the job.
“Let’s go Brandon and the democrats and the GOPe, especially DeXX’s gang!”
Go Global.
C’mon the data is obviously stored in the 10th circle of Hell in order to enable Lucifer’s reign of terror on Earth.
Just imagine the worst possible scenario, make it 100x worse, and you’ve likely arrived at the truth.
It’d be funny if it wasn’t so sick.
How does PRISM system differ from the ALBERT Sensor system? Does the FISA process, even, matter?
PRISM collection: the government collects all communications content to or from a targeted
selector (such as an email address) directly from U.S.-based electronic communications service
providers (such as Apple or Google). The NSA receives all raw (unminimized) PRISM-collected
information and may also send such raw data to the CIA and FBI.

Around 2011 DHS created their own intrusion detection system called the ALBERT Sensor. It’s part of the larger Einstein System that protects federal agencies from cyber risks. ALBERT is a “black box” server installed on a County’s network. It collects the traffic flowing on their election network and transmits this data to a nonprofit in NY. DHS selected this non-profit to monitor all the election data from across the United Sates. It is analyzed around the clock with the hope they can alert jurisdictions if they find any malicious traffic on their network. Few election networks had the system before 2016.
The parallels between the ERIC voter registration system and CIS ALBERT Sensors are uncanny. Both are nonprofits that collect vital election data in private. Both ERIC and CIS pilot-tested their programs in left-leaning election jurisdictions. Pew Center On The States used the same tactics, and approached the same associations, to deploy ERIC across America. CIS keeps their reports, dashboards, and insight away from the counties. ERIC keeps their dashboards, insights, and voter maintenance lists away from the public. Neither provides transparency. These parallels are not a coincidence.

We used to have a 4th Amendment; we used to require a search warrant… of course we used to respect rule of law and our Bill of Rights. The Obama Biden Regina’s respects neither.
Trash it all. To the ground. Only things that should remain…Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and our Constitution. Start over. Take out the trash, clean our house and start over. We have to do this together. Its 1776 again.

Didn’t Sundance suggest, perhaps in early 2017, large amounts of data were being collected via illegal Section 702 searches?
Complete with the suggestion of the magnitude of searches being numbered by 4 digits?
More recently, didn’t he describe Jack’s Coffee Shop which plainly suggested almost everything about everyone is being captured and cataloged?
What is new in this essay beyond an IG acknowledging the enormity of malfeasance?
You’re kidding right? …from 1000 to 3.4million. 10,000 America hating swamp rats have access to the most elaborate spy system in the world and it’s being turned inward.
Be certain if this is what the swamp is putting out, double it.
StanH, the info in the Jack’s Coffee Shop suggested to me that data was being assembled on e.g. 5o million people via the collaboration of corporate and governmental collection. Combine that with AI searches mining the assembled data and you’d better not fart in any national park.
This has been known since Snowden released his docs in 2013. NSA collects pretty much everything that goes over Internet lines, phone lines, or the airwaves. They store all this data at their various facilities. Storage is very cheap now, so I imagine they can easily store stuff for years. This includes data on all Americans.
NSA claims they do not violate the 4th because no humans look at the data. That’s literally their argument. Of course, that is patently false as Gaetz and Horowitz said at the hearing.
Remember that many of these employees were “working” from home during Covid and beyond. What could go wrong?
The reason there are so many people that can run searches is so that individuals cannot be identified. This will only stop when the Patriot Act is repealed and the DHS is eliminated. Until then, we are communists.
Let’s not forget how most of this “surveillance in the name of public safety” crap came into being. It was mostly GOPee Presidents and Congress. They told us there would be no violations of privacy, but they said it with a wink and a nod.
The courts don’t matter, the law is meaningless, all of these technology companies, including the big telecoms and ISPs have been sharing private data for decades with no court orders or other legal paperwork. It’s not anonymous data either. It’s personally identifiable data.
The GOPee has been aware of this since day one and they’re fine with it. Don’t let the scripted outrage fool you. The more time that goes by, the more I believe the official naarrative on 9/11 was a load of caca.
“The patriot act sprang full blown from joe biden’s desk” is a phrase burned into my memory from a news report I read after the way it was passed, unread and in the dark.
At the time such discussions and analyses could still be read in regional newspapers.
There are too many biden fingerprints on too many of the ills and crimes being perpetrated on the country at this time.
Burn it all down. I do so hope Real President Trump is successful at completely dismantling DHS.
Repeal the Patriot Act entirely.
Whatever NSA database exists should be destroyed forever as well.

Boy that “Patriot Act” is swell, don’t you feel safe?
Pitchforks & Torches!
Thermite is far more efficient and effective.
10-4!
It was supposed to be retired by now.
Yes indeed it was.
Another lie from the swamp.
Zero terrorist’s caught @ US Airports…..
If the NSA can get all your data and knows you’re a republican, they can have you vote by mail for a democrat.
Well, no. Its not that complicated, but its also not that difficult to thwart.
Really? If it isn’t that difficult to thwart, explain why Joe Biden is sniffing children on the White House lawn?
The voting clerc can just tell you: you’ve already vote when you get to the voting booth.
people who dont vote are voted for and as a democrat they have the voter rolls …
Now does congress believe🤡 Congress, The Senate, Alphabet Agencies and The Supreme Court are anything more than clown organizations stealing monies from the folks? Overseeing the Payton Place Scam called The World Political Brothel.
Sorry to say, there is no one worthy or with enough Americanism, to bring these illegals to Justice, except one.
Bring it
This data is probably dispersed to the 5-eyes where there are no protections. Even if the US data is destroyed they just search elsewhere.
Does anyone remember the request for modem addresses for traffic in AZ. Little wonder they never showed up with the Albert Sensors. Did you see one SOS say the government is spying on you?
The MOA requires the entity accepting its services to provide notice to its employees and contractors that they “have no reasonable expectation of privacy regarding communications or data transiting, stored on or traveling to or from [the SOS/County] information systems, and any communications or data transiting, stored on or traveling to or from the [the SOS/County] information system may be monitored disclosed or used for any lawful government purpose.”
Excerpt from MOA between CIS and NM SOS ceding all expectation of privacy on NM election networks
We requested communications between the DHS, CIS and the SOS’s office to see if any security alerts or reports have been provided to the SOS over the last five years since the Albert Sensors were deployed in New Mexico. We were told no such communications exist. It appears there is no evidence that CIS has alerted the SOS of any cyber-attacks or even provided any reports on their monitoring activities.
Similar requests sent to individual counties were even less successful – as many of the counties did not know what Albert Sensors are. The fact that counties do not seem to be aware that their networks are being monitored 24/7 by the federal government is a shocking revelation. Yet, Toulouse-Oliver implied in testimony to the US Senate on March 28, 2023, that Albert Sensors are deployed statewide by her office, which “takes the resources and tools we receive from the federal government and our private partners and be able to make sure that those are all available downward to every local election jurisdiction across the state.”
If the individual counties are unaware that they are being monitored, that likely means that the SOS has failed to provide notice to county officials that they have no expectation of privacy for any communications or data passing through their networks.
The illegal data gathering and spying on American citizens happens “Not wittingly.”
C’mon man!
It’s a big country and it’s difficult to keep up with proper employee training and all of those laws and the Constitution thing that those MAGA folks keep harping on about!
We are not going to be able to ‘vote’ our way out of this cluster-f*ck of a ride into tyranny and (further) oppression.
It’s FUBAR all-right.
And don’t forget the doctrine of parallel construction. Information from an illegal search, can be scrubbed to be legal – if the unclean room tips off a clean room – to get a lawful search warrant (FISA) for information that government has already illegally obtained. And it works retroactive in time. Ergo illegal spying on the Trump family and campaign made legal via the Carter Page (probably Manafort too) FISA warrant. AKA the insurance policy. Thank Mueller for that one.
Cold Anger once again…..seems daily.
Weaponization made easy for the folks that want that info.
Remember the SOS in AZ that got selected as governor. She was apparently getting reports from the Albert System on how the election was going. Is this not a conflict of interest to some judge, somewhere?
Wow. We need to deal with our corrupt judges.
Makes the revelations of the 99 page FISA order look like a small time operation.
This database and all of the collection apparatus needs to be destroyed
Where is all of this electronic data being stored?
NSA’s Utah Collection Center, it is located at Camp Williams near Bluffdale, Utah, between Utah Lake and Great Salt Lake
Why is all of this electronic data being stored?
The better to track/control us.
Who is in control of this all-encompassing electronic data collection?
National Security Agency
Who works at this data collection site in Utah one may ask.
How many “cloud” locations can you name?
No one knows for sure what the Utah center is for. It might be for data storage or it might be for supercomputing to break codes. Or it might be both.
Nonetheless, NSA has multiple facilities around the country and even several abroad.
From the Former Canada, it is sick to watch these people with zero attachment to any country- Kerry-Clinton -Obama destroy America. When will you rise up?
I think 2024 will be the lit fuse. If these FILTHY COMMIES steal this election again, I expect to see massive Revolt. And it will be worldwide. Canada is lost. We embrace Spendy McBlackface and his Commie ways. We will re elect him without China’s help. I pray for my friends in America. We Patriots will support you!
What is so unreal is our tax money goes to pay for a five star surveillance system so the government can monitor us, the people who funded it.
The sound is corrupted on the video.
87,000 armed Orc army for the IRS. Mitch McConnell and establishment Republicans helped with that, thinking they were safe and excluded.

“In total, the USFWS puts the total number of hunting licenses sold in 2020 at 15,158,443.”
“That same report states that hunters spent $27.1 billion on hunting that year, including $7.1 on equipment, 3.1 billion on lodging and food, $630 million on clothing, and $256 million for licenses, tags, and permits.”
“That leaves 32% of hunters as bow hunters, representing 3,520,000 hunters.”

Criminals.
It’s quaint to remember a time in my life I refused to give anyone my SS #.
Only a few of us Americans seem to care about privacy today.
There is no chance, I mean absolutely no chance, of any demonic bureaucrat doing anything nefarious with anyone’s information, no bribery, no targeting of any kind/sarc (obviously).
“Gee, Mr. Doe, it’d be a shame if Mrs. Doe found out you had a gal on the side. Real shame.”
The survellience database is a widespread federal blackmail system. Epstein’s project made large. Disgusting. Citizens should not stand for it.
Ooh Ooh Me Me! I know the answer! Centralize everything with a digital ID and CBDC! /sarc off
Excellence at CTH once again!
sundance goes beyond the surface revelations and standard conversations and digs as deep as his journalistic shovels will take him.
Not an error its done on purpose ..The Uni Party are afraid of the American people they know we know how corrupt they truly are …More of us then them… Never forget
But they couldn’t find Hillary’s emails.
Thats because she hacked the server/computer with hammers and poured acid on them…:)
Where is all of this electronic data being stored?
Utah has a federal data collection center that can store yetabytes of data
BTW 1 yetabyte is 1 trillion terabytes
George W. Bush, Republican “created” the NSA.
Rather, he, like Biden, was the stooge of the non-Americans who ran him.
at this point republican or democrat doesn’t matter. it’s always been a uniparty.
It would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our choice to silence our fears for the safety of our rights: that confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism—free government is founded in jealousy, and not in confidence; it is jealousy and not confidence which prescribes limited constitutions, to bind down those whom we are obliged to trust with power: that our Constitution has accordingly fixed the limits to which, and no further, our confidence may go.… In questions of powers, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.27
Burn the whole place down.
And that’s not including contractors!
I wonder how many of that 10,000 ( working in shifts ) were devoted to continually monitoring PDJT and his WH ?
Well duh,
is anyone really surprised?
Paraphrasing something I read from David Burge over at his iowahawk blog some time ago: Don’t I feel silly paying extra for cloud storage when it turns out NSA keeps all my stuff for free………
Having worked for (state) government, can personally confirm that I had access to all sorts of private and protected information that I had absolutely no business having access to and could have potentially caused a lot of damage if I didn’t have scruples.
Nothing short of a Reign Of Terror by The People will end this.
Sick f***s.
