An increasingly larger audience is starting to realize what CTH outlined nine months ago as it relates to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Had he chosen to remain a state leader, hopefully with increased focus on the economic issues that are crushing Floridians, most people would have kept biting their tongue. However, once he openly began elevating himself beyond his state office, the truth about DeSantis was always going to come out.
In addition to other problems yet to be discussed, the personality characteristics of self-importance, arrogance, grandiosity and dismissal of people he considers less than, are major character defects within people who call themselves ‘leaders’. Everyone in the orbit of Team DeSantis is disposable if they do not elevate his view of himself.

Trump behaves as if his arch enemy is not his biggest threat, and it is wearing me out. Trump can point to all of his accomplishments with pride and clean up in the Primaries without making enemies of his lesser opponents, most of whom he will need in his own camp against the real enemy of the United States. I want a bashing of the Socialists and that has to start now.
Although he thinks DeSantis must be treated like he is an enemy, Trump is in a position to ignore the man in order to see that DeSantis cannot get sympathy from stupid voters who like to vote for underdogs. Especially, now that he is trying to re-enter a DC Swamp full of his real enemies, Socialists.
I am about MAGA, and Trump seems more concerned about making himself great by bashing his friends while letting his enemies continue to run amok. This cannot end well at all. If DeSantis is not a “candidate” please explain what he lacks. (P.s. running for political office and declaring for the office are two wings on the same bird. In the case of the weaker contestant(ie Desantis), you need to get at least one poll to justify a formal annoucement to run. In 2018, I happened to be working on the video crew for an event where President Trump was speaking. He had to pass by our area to get to the stage, and the secret service kept us back about 20 feet, but Trump still made a point to stop, wave to us, ask us how we were doing, and thank us for our hard work. He didn’t have to stop. He could have just breezed on by without so much as a glance in our direction like pretty much every other celebrity does, but he chose, instead, to treat us like people who were worthy of his time. That impressed me.
SD, the real question yet to be answered, is why was this delegation allowed to see the light of day and articulate their position? Something else is going on behind the scenes. Suspicious cat, well, remains suspicious.

Trump didn’t always choose wisely when it comes to personnel. Time and time again, he found out just how shallow the pool of qualified help is in DC. That place is a cesspool and finding someone who has not wallowed in it is often harder than finding an honest Leftist. But he mostly succeeded because he had embraced the truth of what needed to be done for this country’s people, he made promises on the premise realized, and he expected others to toe the line and help to see those promises enacted. So, there are few reasons one may come up with, for him to finally get around to requesting a federal disaster declaration 10 days after the event.
One is, he thought it was more important to be campaigning for donations and support in Ohio, Virginia, and New Hampshire, than request the declaration, and he thought he’d request a declaration when he got around to it.

Have a friend who worked in a law from which represented Trump in the 80s and 90s. Friend attended conferences with Trump. Asked him what was it like dealing with Trump. He said how Trump acts in public is the same way he acted in a private setting. His public and private persona are the same. During these conferences, Trump was genuinely warm and friendly, had a good sense of humor, knew everyone’s name and genuinely liked people. In short, what you see is what you get with Trump which is not the case with career politicians.

Many decades ago and just starting out in my work career, I worked at one of the Trump properties and The Donald as everyone called him treated his employees very well. He paid us competitive wages and there was an endless buffet of free breakfasts, lunches and dinners depending on what shift you worked. If a VIP had a party we were treated to the same food and desserts they received. We often saw Trump walking the property with famous celebrities, sports figures and his wife at the time Ivana and he was always friendly to the staff. He’s the real deal and shame on all the people who have turned their backs on him all because of politics. They are not good people.

DeSantis seems to have an extremely low threshold for stress and this whole Disney thing looks bad, even if his motives were good.
