In the BIG PICTURE a local New York City District Attorney has created a criminal case, structured on a federal crime, that the federal government has stated was not a crime. This is the Rubicon that has been crossed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In essence this is extreme Lawfare in action.
In response to the jurisdictional issue; in addition to the substantive political construct of the case; the largest mechanism within congress, the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed officials from the District Attorney’s office to answer questions about the construct of the case. A return-fire lawfare response.
In reaction to the federal response and inquiry, DA Alvin Bragg filed a lawsuit against the House Judiciary Committee [Filing Review HERE]. District Attorney Bragg also asked for intervention against the subpoena, an injunction against the authority of the House oversight, that was immediately DENIED by the court. Alvin Bragg really doesn’t want the House to investigate his case.

Jim Jordan is correct in the unprecedented action from Bragg, that preceded the unprecedented action from congress. This is a battle of Lawfare operations with significant long-term consequences for the entire justice system. The political motives for the New York, Atlanta (GA) and Washington DC cases are transparent.
Obviously from my perch in smalltown USA I have no idea if Jim Jordan will do all he can do to address the tragedy of lawfare by the Democratic party. Trump did award him with the Medal of Freedom. I do not know what his motives were for doing that. The other recipient (Devin Nunes) is clearly in the Trump camp.
Could Jordan be framing his actions (as much as possible) as pro USA versus pro Trump? Possibly, actually I hope so.
Does anyone have any confidence that “Face Time” Jimmy will achieve results other than more media attention. I know I don’t.
Yep, Jordan has set the investigation panel to investigate this corrupt Lawfare as Bragg has already admitted he used Fed Funds to investigate/indict Trump. Now Bragg has stuck his arm deep into this Lawfare Tar Baby with his law suit now.
Bragg knew Jordan would demand to know what the unspoken underlying crime Bragg’s hollow indictment is based on and that’s why Bragg has quickly filed his ‘previously prepared’ 50 page brief in his responsive suit vs Jordan. This will now get better before it gets any worse.
Meanwhile, lets hope Rep Comer gets more bank records to shine the spotlight on the Biden Crime family syndicate again. That should put the corrupt Marxist Dim’s Lawfare machine into Overdrive fast to deflect from Comer’s evidence,… AGAIN!
I am no attorney, but I do live in a neighborhood full (10+ within a 2 block radius) is it not possible for a state DA in Florida, Ohio,Missouri, Texas, etc to find video or receipts of any Biden’s doing shenanigans? Where was all of that video of crackhead Hunter taken with all the prostitutes? Yeah I’m sure some of it was out of the country, but I highly doubt all of it was. Anyway just my two cents.
It is easy to “criticize,” Spooky, but it is a little more difficult to offer constructive criticism. What would you propose the action be in opposition to Lawfare?

As stated, convene the Congressional panel in NYC and get down to biz with subpoenas and depos under oath to get the facts on what the underlying crime Trump is alleged by Bragg to have committed, how the Fed $ was spent by Bragg, what the obvious connections to the WH/DOJ are that constitute Fed Election Interference, how/why Clinton hatchet man, Lanny Davis, is controlling Cohen,… while also answering Bragg’s suit that the judge has already shot down Bragg’s request for injunctions against Jordan on.
That’s just for starters, and I am no atty.
And he can go after the head of the snake: Garland. They have enough proof he has acted illegally in many cases. He has lied to the committees. He has obstructed. Etc. Impeach him. Yes, the Senate will stop it, but the turn it around because a 1/3 of the Senate is up for re-election.
Then go after the purse strings. Someone on Twitter argued they can’t because of the budget…well, it’s a good thing they have not had a budget since Obama took office- all reconciliation. Therefore, go take their money away.
PLUS, they.ve already found papers showing Biden ordered the RAID on Mar a Lago. They need to get on top of that immediately.

If you and others would show some support maybe he would have an easier time getting results. With more support all the big conservative donors could put their money to good use using the legal system instead of sending those dollars to colleges and other woke organizations.
If there is one thing we should learn from the left it is how to support your cause. The left will not flinch no matter how bad things get for them. The right will run away if the wind blows in a different direction.
Money is the key and federal dollars have restrictions. One of them is discrimination. If any fed dollars are involved with CRT or equity or any of that other discriminatory BS, the funds get pulled. When will congress simply shut off the spigot and start piling on the lawsuits?
Jordan will accomplish nothing except dissipate some UniParty steam. Patriot steam.
Moreover Jordan KNOWS this. So do we, if we’re only being honest with ourselves.

In any case, at least Ohio’s son is speaking truth to lying, conniving Democrats and giving insight to anyone awakening to our present disasters.
If Jordan et al are serious about investigating Bragg and his b.s. case, they need to look into the genesis of this case:
Cohen pleading guilty to a non-crime so it could be used against trump later on, at the behest/compulsion of his defense attorney Lanny Davis in collusion with the prosecutors and then how all the roads lead to Lawfare.
Otherwise it is going to be simply Bragg saying I have discretion yada yada yada.
“Long-term consequences” means more corruption in our LEA’s/Judiciary as they complete their evolutions to the old USSR Bloc systems of enforcement, no way around it at this point; the Rubicon has been crossed.
This suit by Bragg has no standing and will be dismissed due to the “Supremacy Clause” and the “Speech and Debate Clause” in the Constitution.
If Justice existed in a one-tiered way….but it doesn’t because we are here in the first place.
Federal judge just denied Bragg’s temporary retraining order against Jordan. Bragg’s suit is frivolous. Jordan’s investigation will continue. Keep the faith!

Don’t understand why jordan has not yet issued subpoena addressed to Bragg himself. When maria Baritromo asked Jordan if he intends to subpoena Bragg, jordan said he had to first discuss it with other committee chairmen. I took that to mean Jordan has to get comer’s agreement perhaps? And I am wondering if comer has endorsed trump yet?
