Ok. Great performance by Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and many others. When do We the People get to deliver justice. Laws and Sentences are supposed to represent our will, our voice.
Instead, the angrier we get the more we are threatened/labeled as terrorists, vigilantes; Bible thumping, intolerant, judgmental, ignorant, uneducated, throwbacks that must be controlled and contained. THAT message is what the shooter in Nashville heard about Christians, and is what empowered he/she/it to feel justified in taking out innocent children and teachers.
When will there ever be a forum for rational discussion and pursuit of truth, with actual listening, collaborative planning, and shaping of our society into a good direction? Where are those meeting, groups and websites? Or do we really not have free speech and free assembly after all, and we frogs are in hotter water than we ever thought?
We can no longer wait for Ted, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, MTG, or even Trump to figure out how to be effective.

Your frustration is felt greatly. We’re all looking for the answers. I say this because our electoral process no longer reflects our will (see Arizona midterm election results). It almost makes you feel hopeless. Almost. But not completely. Why? Because of faith. Faith in the good lord that as long as we keep bringing light, the less dark we will encounter. At some point, we will all need to cross a bridge. That bridge will have us leave our current form of governance behind and enter a new one that works. You may say the current one works. Does it? All who receive a check or are affiliated with a government body, no matter what it is are in self preservation mode. They’re not concepts. They’re people with families, they’re your neighbors or friends. They’re fellow human beings who have been comfortable living a descent life but had to do what needed to get done to live it. Despite the consequences to their fellow citizens. At some point, we all need to look at each other differently and change the way we govern ourselves forever. It’s the only way out.
