At first, I thought this story was fake. Then I thought it was likely just a misinterpretation of events. However, I was curious enough to just go look for myself, because there are quite a few people noticing it now. Indeed, the initial reports were not wrong.
The background story of how Senator John Fetterman’s wife reacted to the news of her husband’s hospitalization for clinical depression is just weird.
Apparently, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s family did not go to Washington DC with him. {h/t Gateway Pundit} Considering Mr. Fetterman was recovering from a stroke, the worst possible scenario would be stress and unfamiliar surroundings. The resulting hospitalization for clinical depression then takes on new context.
I take the approach never to judge personal life, because you just don’t ever know what is going on deeply inside the lives of others. However, things are really odd about the way Gisele Fetterman responded to the news of her husband’s hospitalization. She grabbed the passports, packed up the kids and headed to Canada. Huh?
Even more weird, Mrs. Fetterman outlines her reaction on her own social media accounts [SOURCE].

Because always “having passports ready just in case you need to run away” when your husband is hospitalized, is something everyone can just relate to… or something.
This is odd. Like, “hey mom, CNN just said dad’s in the hospital… can we go ziplining” level odd.
I’m trying to be gracious and sensitive with this story… but, considering this is a U.S. Senator who ultimately has impact on the way votes take place that influence the lives of every single American… I mean, against that backdrop… What the heck?

She’s on a media tour, question is what is she trying to get others to look away from or front run? I think they weren’t that close w indiscretions on the side for one or both, probably her, maybe a divorce planned. My guess is she is trying to ease us into a separation before introducing us to her Canadian bf. My aunt was busy finding a new husband and dating him while her hub had Alzheimer’s. Some women see their benefactor as toast and just say Next.

What a bunch of crap. She apparently has a green card, and kids are citizens. She would go nowhere if her husband dies. I had a Green Card forever, and after a divorce, you can stay if you were married long enough. I believe it was 5 years. I was married for 12.

Well, back when immigration and legal status were the talk of the day, being married was not the answer to becoming a legal citizen. I have a Mexican friend up the road who had to return to Mexico, spend about $5,000 and be away from the wife and daughter for almost two years before the green card was obtained. He did what he always does and that was work two jobs in Mexico and return as soon as possible.
Hard to believe that one of the questions asked in order to get a green card is

I see that Ms. Fetterman was on a yoga retreat in Costa Rica when she first heard about John Fetterman who was featured in ReadyMade magazine. That would be 2007, two years after her divorce from husband #1. When I saw “yoga” + “Costa Rica”, I immediately thought of alleged murderer Kaitlin Armstrong who fled to Costa Rica and was teaching yoga. I wonder if there’s something in the mangoes down there that makes people wonky.
A couple of years ago I spent time in a hip town on the banks of beautiful Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. LOTS of yoga studios, tarot card readings, massage parlors, singing bowl workshops, astrology courses, etc. Watching the backpack toting, dreadlocked hippies in harem pants disembark at the dock was entertaining. One day when we got off the boat, there was a scream therapy yoga class going on. The yipping and howling was too much for me; I burst out laughing. I know everyone deals with stress differently, I’m just really glad I’m able to deal with it without screaming. Anyhow, I’m wondering if this hip town isn’t a lot like Costa Rica yoga retreat towns. Good to know. We have family who live in Guatemala. My mother-in-law is from there. I know it’s an amazingly beautiful country. I imagine Costa Rica is, too. There are pockets of suspect places in both countries, one imagines.
That place on Costa Rica sounds like our town of Boulder or what the people of New Mexico have to put up with in Santa Fe.

just watched a HBO show abour alternate homes – the place we call home. One episode featured the Fetterman home in Braddock. An old car dealership bldg across from a steel mill kind of business. The home is weird and the virtue signaling was off the charts.
Fettermen is much worse than we are told, someone should be investigated and maybe someone is so a vacation before prison.
One thing is for sure and that’s she’s a POS for a wife.

Odd behavior surfaced when Fetterman first came to light.
He’s really off the chain and what is worse, is the people of Pennsylvania elected him anyway. Talk about Odd to the 16th power. So his wife is Odd squared and perhaps she just doesn’t want to talk about the situation. Kids are involved and that always adds a stressful component to the mix.
If I was married to him and he went away for treatment, I would leave him to fend for himself too. For all we know, he could have been very brutal to her. We know nothing!
Again, what I can’t figure out is why Fetterman was ever elected to anything. Money may talk but it doesn’t walk very well in the hands of incompetent people no matter how or when they became incompetent.

The part of the GatewayPundit story that most struck me was that Fetterman has been living alone in D.C. He was driving 4 hours to see his family on weekends.
Dealing with his post-stroke deficits, unable to understand spoken words, confused and seemingly overwhelmed in a new city and new job —-and his family wasn’t even living with him?
A side note –how is he able to safely drive at all, let alone navigate solo on 4 hours trips? And it didn’t bother his family to put that on him too?

It was my impression that it was she who was pushing him to continue pursuing the Senate seat after the stroke. She seemed enthusiastic about it; he looked like he didn’t want to be there.
I am not going to speculate. A friend’s husband has severe depression and has been in residential treatment for almost 6 months. The first 2 months, there were no visitors or outside influences allowed. Maybe Fetterman is kept under similar circumstances. He is hospitalized for his clinical depression, not the stroke.
Taking the kids away from the media ghouls while on school break is also not strange.
Canada is closer than CA and calmer for the kids.

My reaction was to the discovering that before his admission to the hospital, he had been living on his own without his family – since he moved to D.C. in early January. His post-stroke issues seemed quite severe to me to be able to manage on his own. His family remained living a 4 hour drive away.

I read this story earlier today on The Gateway Pundit and was shocked to learn that his wife and kids didn’t move to Washington DC with him! How cruel! I know he “won” in a stolen election but I do feel sorry for this man. Imagine trying to work and live in a new city, even without his disability, would be difficult for anyone, let alone anyone who is disabled as he is. What happened in 2022 with Fetterman in PA is a microcosm of what 2024 will look like. They have full control of state-wide outcomes in many states and they are moving to solidify those strongholds. All of the so-called swing states are firmly under the control of the left and RINOs. No way to win the WH without at least a few swing states.
The GOP won’t even discuss vote fraud in most places. The ones that do just dance around the perimeter. They know how this is being done, but refuse to address it. They better enjoy their two years running the House. That will also end in 2024 (for good, just like the senate).

J Fetterman is not well at all and is incapable of finishing out (or even beginning) his term in office. He is seriously ill and much of it is because he was not permitted to enlist the help of long-term rehab after his stroke. This is SO vitally important following a stroke. The window of rehabilitation is closed now.
