At first, I thought this story was fake. Then I thought it was likely just a misinterpretation of events. However, I was curious enough to just go look for myself, because there are quite a few people noticing it now. Indeed, the initial reports were not wrong.
The background story of how Senator John Fetterman’s wife reacted to the news of her husband’s hospitalization for clinical depression is just weird.
Apparently, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s family did not go to Washington DC with him. {h/t Gateway Pundit} Considering Mr. Fetterman was recovering from a stroke, the worst possible scenario would be stress and unfamiliar surroundings. The resulting hospitalization for clinical depression then takes on new context.
I take the approach never to judge personal life, because you just don’t ever know what is going on deeply inside the lives of others. However, things are really odd about the way Gisele Fetterman responded to the news of her husband’s hospitalization. She grabbed the passports, packed up the kids and headed to Canada. Huh?
Even more weird, Mrs. Fetterman outlines her reaction on her own social media accounts [SOURCE].

Because always “having passports ready just in case you need to run away” when your husband is hospitalized, is something everyone can just relate to… or something.
This is odd. Like, “hey mom, CNN just said dad’s in the hospital… can we go ziplining” level odd.
I’m trying to be gracious and sensitive with this story… but, considering this is a U.S. Senator who ultimately has impact on the way votes take place that influence the lives of every single American… I mean, against that backdrop… What the heck?

I think the actions taken by Fetterman reveal a great deal of fear and distrust of those she likely knows rigged the nomination/election in her husband’s favor. At some point, she probably realized her hubby is as much a puppet as Biden and that he’s just as dispensable which means she and her children are too.
I was thinking along those lines myself, most likely she was afraid, possibly deathly afraid of someone or many someones. But, to then announce to the world where they went & what they did, just added to the HUH??
I guess it depends on the strongest of 2 experiences; Socialism or Motherhood. She’s either attempting to protect her children or is using them as shields to protect herself.

In John Fetterman’s current state if he is depressed, who knows what he’s revealing while in treatment away from his home. She can’t control what he says or does. It’s been taken out of her hands.

Not defending actions, and I am not a doctor, but if stroke caused frontal lobe damage, that could increase anger, anxiety, paranoia, depression … this might explain Fetterman checking in for help (calling it depression rather than spousal abuse) and the wife grabbing the kids and running to somewhere safe.
They were already living in separate states, she didn’t need him hospitalized to make an escape.
We don’t know if he checked himself in. It seems quite plausible he was hospitalized against his will. Maybe he didn’t like ‘their’ plan for him.
Many reports say he was hearing voices. There is a term in psychiatry called “reactive depression.”
The patient essentially ‘slows down.’ He becomes pale, sick looking, underweight and eventually becomes paranoid, hears voices and can sit or lay motionless for days.
With the co-conditions of a stroke and heart disease, the patient could experience this kind of extreme physical reaction to depression. In some cases the physical illness essentially caused by an abnormal response to depression leads to death.
THIS would explain her behavior. A different country makes divorce proceedings much more difficult.

There is a third reason; they are a danger to others. A person must be suicidal, homicidal or gravely disabled to be committed to a psychiatric hospital. This is especially true if they are admitted against their will.
Or they could just be severely depressed and tell their doctor they want to be checked into the hospital.
Is that crazy? The guy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest thought so when he found out his friend had done just that.
If Fetterman thought he was going to require long term in-patient treatment it seems like he would have resigned his seat. Why go to lengths to win the election, only to immediately take a leave of absence?
Someone wasn’t cooperating with the plan. Fetterman is a US Senator. He could be treated as an out-patient, or at least come and go from the hospital so he could vote. This mental health problem could have easily been covered up. Something about this doesn’t add up. First the leak that Fetterman was “hearing voices” followed by an official statement on an expected long term hospitalization…something is rotten in Denmark.
Hearing voices is a sign of psychopathy. This would explain a violent streak as well. If this symptom was occasional, then, they could cover it up most of the time. But, if it was frequent and he responded to the voices, physically or verbally, that would be a problem.
Just a technical footnote: hallucinations (like hearing voices) are usually associated with psychotic disorders but not psychopathy. A psychopath is a person incapable of empathy. A psychotic disorder would be something like schizophrenia or dementia. If the senator was really hallucinating, then it could be from stroke-related brain damage or from suffering another stroke.

I had a strong suspicion at the time that Fetterman’s “hospitalization” at a military hospital was really a cover for something else—an arrest, an interrogation, perhaps trying to avoid one of the above by claiming mental illness, something along those lines. The fact that his handler wife’s first instinct was to flee the country all but confirms to me that Fetterman is not in a military hospital for “depression.”
Bonus: Might be connected to the Ohio train derailment. Fetterman is a big union man with ties to radical Leftists. The train broke in his state before derailing in Ohio. Fetterman was “hospitalized” a few days after. The timing of all of this is suspicious.”
