I wrote about distinct data points in the last 24 hours {SEE HERE] that lean toward direct NATO hostile activity against Russia. Joe Biden might be saying that Ukraine flags are hanging from homes in small town America (major propaganda footing), but the overwhelming majority of Americans do not support an expanded war.
Russia is preparing. Today, high level officials from China and Russia held talks in Moscow and they were not hiding their unity of purpose in an alliance that would oppose western NATO engagement. When Beijing allows the panda mask to fall, the dragon message underneath it, “a relationship with no limits,” should be reviewed very carefully. The AP has some good color on the Moscow meeting.
(Via AP) Russia and China showcased their deepening ties Wednesday in meetings others are watching for signs that Beijing might offer the Kremlin stronger support for its war in Ukraine.
The visit by Wang Yi, the Chinese Communist Party’s most senior foreign policy official, to Moscow comes as the conflict in Ukraine continues to upend the global diplomatic order.
Relations between Russia and the West are at their lowest point since the Cold War, and ties between China and the U.S. are also under serious strain. Moscow suspended its participation in the last remaining nuclear arms control treaty with Washington this week. And the U.S. expressed concern that China could provide arms and ammunition to Russia.
Speaking at the start of talks with Wang, Russian President Vladimir Putin hailed ties between the two countries and added that the Kremlin expects Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Russia.
The Russian leader, whose own rule over Russia is imperiled by the war, noted escalating international tensions, adding that “in this context, cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation on the global arena is particularly important for stabilizing the international situation.”
While Wang said “Chinese-Russian relations aren’t directed against any third countries and certainly can’t be subject to pressure from any third countries,” the specter of the war and how it has galvanized the West and deepened its divide with Russia hung over his meeting with Putin.
For instance, Wang emphasized that Moscow and Beijing both support “multipolarity and democratization of international relations” — a reference to their shared goal of countering the perceived U.S. dominance in global affairs.
Earlier Wednesday, Wang held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. “Our ties have continued to develop dynamically, and despite high turbulence in the global arena, we have shown the readiness to speak in defense of each other’s interests,” Lavrov said.
Wang responded in kind, underlining Beijing’s focus on deepening ties with Russia — a relationship it has said has “no limits.” (read more)
China is never going to tell U.S. diplomats that Beijing will support Russia in the war. That’s not the way the panda messaging works.
Officially, China will present themselves as the high-road traveler, saying every effort for peace should be the focus. However, the interests of China, which is the real motive of the Beijing dragon, are much better positioned if the U.S. and western alliance decide to engage in war against Russia.
All of those advanced mineral, oil and energy investments by China become exponentially more valuable if Team Windmill goes to war against Russia. All of those U.S. multinational corporate assets currently held in Chinese manufacturing investments, will become outright property of the CCP if the U.S. goes into direct conflict with Russia.
The western NATO alliance (+ Japan and Australia) could certainly benefit from war to avoid the currency collapse looming as a result of excessive COVID spending combined with the Build Back Better energy policy shift. However, the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) as well as Iran and Saudi Arabia have already been roleplaying and positioning a currency replacement for OPEC+ (which includes Russia).
There’s nothing in the current geopolitical landscape to pull the NATO alliance away from increasing hostilities, and there’s nothing in the geopolitical outlook of China which precludes them from siding with Russia if the conflict does break out. In addition, no nation plays the passive-aggressive panda mask game as good as China… AND they’ve got North Korea to use as a controlled scapegoat arms broker.
Nothing in this scenario of the Chinese panda hugging Russia gives any optimism toward less likely World War III. It’s all bad.
Making matters worse, the one ingredient that could stop these war drums is respect. Do you think Chairman Xi and President Putin respect the cunning geopolitical strategy of Joe Biden? Of course not. No more than they respect Justin Trudeau or any other EU political leader representing their collective woke ideology.
Take respect out of the war dynamic and you lose the emergency brake.
I believe China is getting involved because they understand that Russia must not fall otherwise they are next. Personally I am happy to see it happen. Had China and India decided to isolate Russia through all this it would have been extremely difficult for Putin to fight the battle with the West. China at least staying neutral was probably something Globohomo and the US had counted on. China may have even double crossed them. Seems to me China, like Russia, are very proud of their history and culture. We complain about China subverting things over here but I assure you we run a lot of propaganda at both of those countries. That seems to be our specialty nowadays and its the one thing the US/West does better than anyone else. Both of these countries understand the horrors of hardcore Communist ideologies and I do not believe want any part of it again.
I have been posting here for many years. I think most of you understand I am not Unpatriotic or Unamerican. I love the idea that America once represented and hope for it to restore itself in my lifetime. However I have chosen to stand with the Human Race above all else. I am deeply troubled of a One World Government accountable to no one. I think most of you are like me never really understanding just how out of control and maniacal the US/West govts had become until just a couple years ago. If they treat us like this now (covid, pitting citizens against each other, outright election theft, etc) it gives me absolutely ZERO confidence that it will get any better. I know it will ultimately make things very difficult over here but its our type of people who will be best suited to fight thru the coming struggle.
God Bless Everyone!
Today’s Duran speaks to this same topic on a short video. Also interesting.
https://rumble.com/v2ahwok-chinas-wang-yi-in-moscow-meeting-lavrov-and-putin.html
Alex Mercouris and Alex Christoforou at The Duran are excellent. They do several videos each day!
Love that program…..very reasoned and measured Gents!
Love those guys….Thank you for the link!
The neocons and globalists need a long, drawn out conventional third world war in order to default on the national debt, but cannot survive a two front war. They need to take down Russia first, and from the timetable that I have seen, need to do so in ’23-’24 to clear the decks for war with China in ’25-’27.
But how do you fight a conventional war on this scale without starting up the draft?
Gen Z and the Millennials don’t want to hear about a draft.
Yea…they would wonder what the work/life balance would be as a soldier in our military and have a hissy fit that they wouldn’t get time to travel and post to their Instagram accounts….
Or keep up with their Tik-Tok videos. All together now, M-I-L-L……L’S!
Maybe they should’ve thought about that before they voted for preezy potato head.
Mashed-potato head!
does the deep state remember the Vietnam war and how young folks were lining up to be drafted, like they are for the Asbury Revival?
Insane, but evil always underestimates good. Darkness cannot see light. If Satan knew he was being set up to kill Jesus to save all who believe in Him from sin and eternal damnation would he have been in the crowd yelling crucify Him?
Gen Z and the Millennials are awakening. Praise God!
Proxy war.
Not for much longer now.
I don’t think you can fight a conventional war with two heavy weight fighters. That’s why the US/NATO’s continued escalation is so dangerous. I try and picture myself in Putin’s shoes. I can do that because I believe him to be sane. I do not dare try and understand the other belligerent because they are insane. There’s a redline somewhere either figuratively or mentally and once its crossed and one side suspects its going down they may release it all in order to attempt to neutralize the other’s counter attack.
As my uncle once told me “Son if you are going to get into a fight hit first and hit hard. Usually the first one to get the best solid lick in wins.” I can’t imagine a nuclear standoff being much different.
Also remember there are other countries who will align with Russia and China. India, Iran and North Korea to name three. The neocons reliably fail at all of their wars except for the profit taking for themselves. They are addicted to their power.
As far as a draft goes, our response to them should be “Over our dead bodies.” No more sending our young people overseas to fight one of their glorious wars. People in my generation offshored the core of America to China and other countries so corporations could make more profits. We screwed the future generations and now we are supposed to send them to fight Russia? A country who had not threatened us at all until we provoked them. Hell No!!!
Why do you think the Democrats and the GOPe have opened our Southern border? 11 mm young conscripts is a good start … speaking of cannon fodder. Fighting the wars that sensible Americans just won’t fight. And if they survive … they’re citizens!
You almost have it Kenji, those illegals are here to ensure workers remain in place when they draft, as I mentioned above, the sons and daughters of East Palestine, Ohio (represents all from that walk of life), to go die to ensure the sons and daughters of Martha’s Vineyard can live long lavish lives.
The US gov doesn’t even know where those “11 mm young conscripts” are or even their names. They won’t be put in uniform.
I suspect many of them, however, are responsible for the spate of industrial fires, accidents, and sabotage occurring across America.
This also allows the government to issue the “rationing” cards: more control.
Well, they need a draft to get those evil sons and daughters from places like E. Palestine to go die to ensure the sons and daughters of Martha’s Vineyard and Hollywood can live lavish lives.
Hmmm…think they know this. Think maybe they have plans. UK is already rationing food, typical war time behavior among sovereigns. Oh, those 401ks will have vesting in US treasury requirements for Uncle Sam’s benefit.
You know the answer. With two young grandsons, this is my nightmare.
If I were Russia I’d be suspicious of China’s assistance, and if I were China I would look for every opportunity to take advantage of the crises that Russia is in.
In this case, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Honestly that is kind of how I feel too.
China knows they are next if Russia fails. The Rand Corporation spelled it all out. Basically the Empire will overthrow/take over Russia, as they were in the process of doing when Yeltsin was president, then on to China.
Wow. What a Grand Strategy. It’s not like Russia or China will ever catch on. Can’t you just see Victoria Nuland explaining to her bosses: “Well we have hit a snag folks. They discovered our plans to come at them later and now they countering our moves.”
Perhaps… but think of it another way… Russia and China are neighbors. Russia has the oil and natural gas that China needs. It makes a lot of sense for the Chinese to be close friends with Russia.
The Panda can say what it wants but the dragon means business and that requires plenty of reliable energy, mineral resources and food.
^^ THIS.
They have NEVER trusted each other. Yes, they’ll trust each other superficially for a while, but not for long. Serious cultural differences.
The US govt is the most corrupt on the planet. We saw that during the Trump years/ how they hated him, wanted him out of the way. We’re at breaking point/ crisis point. It’s hard to watch, we can’t take another 2 years of this puppet who’s being controlled by Obama and the highest bidding nation.
Well said, Luke. 100% agree.
Some of us are old enough to remember the intensity of the Peace Movement during the Vietnam War.
More will remember the ‘Get out of Iraq’ demonstrators during the George W. Bush years.
We need an anti-war movement NOW.
Play it like the Left did- unforgettable images… constant drumming of the same refrain.
It may require sign carriers outside of people’s home.
Asking the ‘why do we need this war?’ question over & over.
Because Ukraine is now OUR war. Stoltzenberg (NATO) chief made that pretty clear- it’s been in play since 2014…
“Our” Mitch McConnell just called this $$ & war materials the most important thing America needs to do now.
Next time Biden makes a beeline for some cute little girl in an audience, coach her to say ‘Mr. President- why must we bomb Russia?’
I can’t disagree with anything Luke says, but “reasoned” & “measured” will get only half the job done.
People will need to be prodded out of their malaise.
We don’t have to get crazy-unhinged (maybe), just be insistent in our will to survive & show intensity that wins people over.
The US intelligencia is about itself and it’s own power. It has no interest in this country other than as it’s own base.
The people in it are fodder just like any other fodder they use.
Can’t seem to be able to find any recent news on Hunter’s laptop, FJB’s extensive crime-family corruption or the US.gov’s involvement in censoring free-speech, poisoning the world with a virus and its “cure”, meddling in elections or the FIB and DOJ targeting innocent Americans.
Hmmmm. . .
I presume you mean in the Pravda media, which I never see unless I neglect a fast-forward through one of Bannon’s “cold opens.”
None of those outrages have been forgotten in our alt-media.
After yesterdays FULL COURT PRESS for WAR against Russia by Stuart Varney (Fox Business) … carefully coordinated with Bidinh’s political theatre in Ukraine … I cancelled my DVR of his 3hr show. I have watched Stuart Varney EVERY weekday morning since he started on Fox. … but I’m done. Never again. He’s an anti-Trumper, warmongering asswipe. He is obviously bought and sold by the GOPe and globalist tools. He’s entitled to his opinion … and me, mine. He’s now lost a longtime, faithful viewer. I’m 67, so I’m sure he and Fox don’t care. They’re looking for the “new generation” (like Nikki Haley) as viewers. Good for them. Buh bye … forever.
I canceled the 3 pm person. I will still watch MB and 2pm to 3pm ,mostly with the sound off.
Same here Kenji. My son and I have been watching Bloomberg (I know, they’re as left as you get) but Varney has become insufferable.
I can’t figure you people out. People here bitch to the rest of us about watching TV shows you hate. Then you post comments that the shows you’ve been hating for years that have been going down the drain are finally on your chopping block.
Is this really newsworthy to the rest of us?
Congratulations on your self satisfied superiority. Pffft. I watch Tucker and Varney on Fox. I have found them both to be a solid 95% spot on in their views (yes, I am certain you think “better than that” … Pffft.) . I don’t demand 100% perfection in the people I surround myself with.
But Varney has jumped the shark on the WAR against Russia … it’s almost as if he’s carrying water for his corporate and political masters.
Enjoy your superiority and your audience of one.
Tucker is the last fox in the henhouse.
You are in the right Kenji. I used to listen to him as well but anyone who is an advocate for going to war in Ukraine is insane. No more sending our young people to war for the lies of the neocons.
I dropped Direct TV last year ( after they dropped OAN ). I’m streaming everything, plus OTA.
Have not missed Fox at all either…. getting the OAN stream (for 5 bucks a month. a real steal ). Fox was simply too anti-Trump… too much of a “controlled opposition” Potemkin Village run by the Deep State and the Globalists.
BTW, I heard that Monday Night Football is in ESPN… really? Like I care.
Yeah … I’m one of the LAST people in America with cable TV … but that’s getting fixed real soon. I just have other fish to fry.
Clayton Morris has a pretty good YouTube channel called Redacted.
Worth watching and it’s free.
I listen to Bannon religiously. But, lately have checked out Redacted and they are quite good.
I read here, and watch redacted on Youtube, and The Duran
I dropped Fox after the 2020 election, canceled the app that I was streaming it from. Bret Bear was the tipping point. What a fool. I have a love – hate for Tucker. He lately has been real good, but has a tendency to over dramatically frame issues. Better I catch him here for free.
Life is much more calm.
In my humble opinion, Tucker is intentionally over hyping his segments of late. The drama is a bit much, recent events are dramatic without any hype. I think he is doing it to present a less “rational” or “reasoned” person as self-protection. Or, maybe he is getting advice from Alex Jones.
This!!!
“Team Windmill”…..ROFLMAO
Rather Quixotic, no?
the way our military is going it will be “team rainbow”
Oh, the “jodies” they could skip to, lol.
Gives new meaning to everything, like “watch your 6”, doesn’t it?…
“rear action”, lol.
The lack of respect is by our leaders towards Putin and Xi. Putin, to his chagrin has been riding the brakes throughout this conflict. Our leaders take advantage of this and openly spite Putin for doing so. There is no red line that our leaders set for our behavior which they will not cross.
And thus our leaders race to Armageddon. The emergency brakes are needed on our side. But there is not a soul leading us that is willing to pull those brakes.
Why should we respect dictators like Putin and Xi?
Why should Russia and China be treated with respect?
Because they both have sufficient nuclear weapons to incinerate your living room.
Why shouldn’t you respect them?
Putin was elected by the people. Russia is not a dictatorship.
There are reports that the “rally” Putin did this week had many mandatory attendees. And high-level Russian oligarchs are still “falling” from tall buildings.
And Biden got the most votes ever. You have a point, but you obscured it with nonsense.
actually do some research and youll come to a different view regarding Russia. They bent over backwards to work with the West, but the West is so broken, they think ginning up a war will save them.
The US could have approached Russia in 1991, to help them transition to workable self-government, and protected them from the ravages of oligarchs and vulture capitalists. It would take patience and humility, and good intent.
Instead, Mr. NWO Bush & Clinton bungled the whole opportunity. IMO, Putin has shown remarkable restraint, given the circumstances.
It deeply saddens me that what could have been a somewhat civilized relationship is now war, because of out schitty leadership.
And HRC faked the “reset” with that Office Depot button, while at the same time was planning the 16-year destruction of America w/Obummer, using Uranium One as the fuse (literally) to stage a false-flag nuclear attack. All of that is documented.
You misunderstand the NWO motives. They do not want peace, they want war, preferably continuous. They do not want Russia to self-govern, they want Russia under their thumb.
This… this right here. No one ever mentions the numerous times Putin’s Secretary’s have presented their concerns to the U.N. All entered into the record but then ignored cuz, you know, NATO.
Just like the misguided headline saying Russia has backed out of the SMART treaty. SO misleading. They didn’t back out- they only said they would not allow NATO inspectors access to inspect nuclear weapons, they want a 3rd party not affiliated with NATO. And IMO that is not a ridiculous request.
Why is the media misleading about what Putin actually said regarding SMART? The only plausible answer- they want to stoke the fears of Americans to incite backing for war. Don’t let them succeed.
For the same reasons Bush demanded respect for crossing the Atlantic, moving across the Mediterranean, traversing the Suez Canal, navigating the Red Sea, rounding the Gulf of Oman, through another small gulf into the Persian Gulf to land in Kuwait, to invade Iraq cuz of WMDs.
The same reasons bison. Interestingly, we were lied to about WMDs but Putin hasn’t lied about NATO aggression, U.S. biolabs in Ukraine, and the murder and genocide of Russian descendants in the Donbas region by Nazi Ukrainian battalions.
I lend respect to honest people. I can appreciate Putin’s position. Doesn’t mean I agree. But what was he to do? Should he do? When people, like Biden and the EU leaders, ignore Russia’s sovereignty and provoke war?
People have called me a Putin apologist. No, I just don’t buy into BS and I call a spade a spade. As COVID has shown us, many Americans don’t like the truth…it hurts and it hurts badly. They would rather continue believing things that make them feel better about themselves rather than deal with reality.
Well until reality drafts their sons and daughters to go die to cover up for the DC Elites and their Ukrainian grift.
I for one will not financially support any of our conservative “leaders” that support this war. Back in the day, I truly thought we were on the correct side of things. PDJT tried to get us out of these conflicts. He was blocked from working a “deal” with Putin by the Rinos and the Dems. Paul Ryan led that blockade. And PDJT had China’s attention. I really want us out of the conflict right now. Nato has some (limited) value in international relationships and perhaps peacekeeping missions, But that is it. I was in Nato and Europe many years ago and valued the relationships with the various soldiers from various countries. But that is all I see today. No money to the pols that support Ukraine. And while I am ranting, I am tired of seeing minute or more long commercials on TV that ask for money for the poor citizens of Ukraine, when we have given them $100 billion plus. That is a real slap in the wallet.
But, but, but … PDJT banished the State Dept. “Diplomats” from his meeting with Putin in Helsinki!! Only his translator was there with the two dictators. ohhhhhhhhhhh mommmmaaaaaaa … did Congress ever subpoena her to testify about their discussion about plans to rule the world?
/sarc.
President Trump spoiled Us the People by doing the right things in a big way.
The current Corruptocracy can never put that genie back in the bottle. Now the country knows what is possible – in fact easy, with the right leadership.
Excet P. Trump.
Lack of respect for Xi !? Wha, wha, whaaaaaat? Bidinh literally kneels before him and performs gay man sex … more like lack of self respect.
Nice job Joe, really getting things in order…unless, that is, this dumpster fire you call foreign policy leading the world into chaos IS the prescribed order.
I thought our State Dept. were supposed to be the peacemakers? Why are they warmongering in Eastern Europe? What’s in it for them?
They work for the NWO not the United States.
Weird…
“UKRAINIAN SOLDIER RESPONDS AFTER BEING CAUGHT WEARING A RATHER INTERESTING PATCH ON HIS ARM”
https://www.bitchute.com/video/dLAa5hn8fMo/
Has anyone recently checked McNonames coffin to see if he’s still in there…
I think his funeral procession is still on tour. Going for service number 426 in one of the “stan” countries.
With any political comment, you have to consider motives behind the story.
Polemical, propaganda, financial, attempts at impartiality, personal prejudices and so on. Often a mix and sometimes subconscious to varying degrees.
I always try and’consider the source’ as the old saying goes. It helps contextual the content. But even so, prejudicial information itself is always useful because it reveals a mindset that often represents what various factions and groups think or believe.
With this in mind, the following article is very interesting. Coming from a writer from outside of North America.
Whether it’s personal disdain for the U.S. and/or a shared perception, he enumerates how he sees the history of ‘the evil empire.’ Extremely one sided, obviously. But worth reading just to get a feel for that mindset.
https://thesaker.is/china-declares-war-on-the-united-states-gonzalo-lira/
This is more than a mindset. As an American I am horrified and thoroughly disgusted over the chaos our government has wrought over the last 35 years throughout he world. An informed person cannot possibly call this “prejudicial information” and chalk it up to “we just need to be aware of what opinions may be out there”. The foreign governments that have been the target of American governmental abuse and harassment have in many cases been destroyed and their people have been physically and economically harmed. Everything in this document is true. I am shocked the world tolerated this abuse for as long as it did.
Reading this document makes me wonder if numerous nations have contacted China to complain and asked China to perhaps speak out to the American government on behalf of the other nations of the world like an employee might complain to his employer about a coworker where the employer needs to get the errant employee back in line.
It is a personal embarrassment to me that our government needs to be called out like this because our behavior is so out of line and that we have to be told to stop being an abusive bully and act like a respectful adult on the world stage. Proper behavior from the US should come natural to us, but it does not. This letter more than implies that few nations, if any, respect us and in fact they hate us. A letter doesn’t surface like this because we are well thought of and loved.
As an aside, the Biden administration has placed too much focus on foreign policy and neglected domestic policy. We’ve had many administrations in the past do the same, both Republican and Democrat. I suspect it is because domestic policy is harder to perform and it is less sexy than foreign policy. We need to reverse course post haste but I don’t know if our neocon government is going to take the right steps to reform or double down.
I don’t agree with Gonzolo that China has declared war on the U.S. I take this as a warning that the rest of the world is prepared to join forces and take the US down collectively if we cannot reform our behavior.
Theres more $ in foreign aid, both military and non-military, than in domestic.
They can get a bigger “kickback” from a foreign govt., for that aid, than from any domestic program or infrastructure project.
And, if you get what they had in afganistan, “WE” rebuild a destroyed power station, the “enemy” blows it up, then we rebuild it again, over and over, all at inflated prices.
What a SCAM!
Both you and will are spot on. I would further add- if these country’s don’t want to be bullied- then stop taking U.S. aid. I don’t care if they think we are bullies (I don’t disagree at times) because they are taking my money. If you are taking my money, over and over, then you lose some sovereignty. You don’t like it- get your governments to stop taking my money. Please tell them…
Because my government doesn’t listen to me when I tell them to stop sending it.
Broken window grifting.
If the U.S. pulled all their business out of China their economy would deflate like a punctured soap bubble. It was moving half of the U.S. manufacturing base to China that created their zooming economy. Of course doing so would cause massive short term pain in the USA. Serious pain.
What if China asked for the $2 trillion America owes them?
It’ll just end up going in circles.
What about the money that China owed the US from before WWII?
or the gold China loaned to the Americans in 1770’s…
Wasn’t that France that lent the money?
Excellent point. Didn’t Japan have control over much of China during WWII? If not for the US involvement, China might be called Japan west today.
We would print it up and hand it over…
They don’t want our money. They are selling the bonds and buying gold.
Other way around…China owes us a minimum of $1.7T in bonds to be repaid, money they borrowed from us back in the 30s & 40s.
We should figure out what we owe each other, and settle up.
According to VSGDJT, China owes us $10T.
Chy-NA virus tax.
I don’t believe China released the virus. I believe the CIA did in an attempt to harm the Chinese economy, and to slow ours down. Look at how quickly people were locked down, and controlled.
Well, if the asked for the money….it would pan out just like it does here when a bank goes to collect from people who don’t have the money to pay back all the money they borrowed from the banks- the banks and investors eat it. And if it’s the banks biggest debtor who goes bankrupt, well, the bank has no one to fall back on and goes under too , unless bailed out.
Who will bail out China? The Saudi’s are the only ones with that kind of money. China knows they can’t ask for that money. It’s amusing and sad at the same time.
It’s like Rome combined with France, mixed in with the end of the Vikings coupled with some Nazism.
LOL! You forget that China has a population of 1.4 trillion people and is allied with India with a population of 1.3 trillion people. China is also trade partners with Indonesia with a population of 273 million.
China won’t lack for trade because those countries will still trade with it.
The US is currently at DEFCON 3, so how soon until we reach DEFCON 2?
Our oil reserves are depleted.
Our munitions are thinning out thanks to pukraine.
…..and no one wants to join bidens woke military.
Biden should just cut his losses, and forget about pukraine because we are in no shape to fight a large scale war.
One would think the US MIL would know our global war readiness and warn the current Resident.
The current Millie-Tary’s entire purpose is to lose on behalf of Team Windmill – so no warning is required.
Not that Xiden would understand anyway.
Larry Kudlow: No one is talking about this-OIL
thank you for sharing this
Oil is needed to power the machinery of war, and to make munitions. … The Army marches on its stomach (food), the machinery needs oil.
Kudlow is an idiot. Firstly his calculations are way off. Russia isn’t making all the money Kudlow claims because Kudlow hasn’t subtracted drilling expenses from revenue.
Russia is selling oil and gas to China and India at a big discount. Kudlow knows that but won’t tell you because he is spewing propaganda to make you mad.
China did not insult Blinken and then go cuddle up to Blinken. Kudlow is a blowhard.
But yes, China and India are funding the Russian SMO by buying Russian commodities. And this is deliberate.
William Gaynor….
I agree. I wonder what has happened to Kudlow …is he towing the Fox News approved content?
One of the first NATO sanctions placed last year was….no Russian oil.
China and India and other countries buy the oil from Russia….mix it with small percentage of another countries oil……and then resell it. At a big profit!!
NATO even has price caps in place…blah..blah..blah-which are not working.
And NATO knows it isn’t working.
Whether Kudlow reporting is disappointing or confusing I can’t figure it out.
“…I can’t figure it out.”
Whenever this happens to me (often!) I just look for the hidden $$ involved.
Who is paying Kudlow and how much…
Right on cue. Gaynor says something stupid, you chime on in. Where is California Joe?
The American Left LOVES high oil prices … because it means Venezuela is no longer going broke … and … they have an excuse to go to war against Putin. And BONUS! It’s driving Americans OUT of our gas guzzling clunkers … Right?
China is a manufacturing powerhouse.
Unfortunately for them, they have to steal innovation. They can steal and replicate from the United States, every new idea and technology, and have done quite a good job of it…BUT,
How can the Chinese rule the world if they are thieves of innovation and not brilliant innovators themselves?
Their one-child policy has caused a demographic catastrophe for them.
They cannot feed their own people.
China’s future is not a slam-dunk success as many believe.
I was told, by someone who lived in a Chinese city of one million people, there was not a single building there over two stories high. They did not use rebar to reinforce their concrete structures.
Does that sound like brilliant planning?
As of Jan 20 2023 “Chinese scholars now publish a larger fraction of the top 1% most cited scientific papers globally than scientists from any other country”
Asian people excel in most fields, and have the added bonus of keeping strong family, tradition, and work ethic.
Compare that to a screaming pink haired man/woman in a vagina hat, because that is what this nation is breeding!
I have a Chinese friend who lives in a 20 story apartment, and its certainly well made, and well maintained. Your backward beliefs, and glossed racism is one of the reasons people turned a blind eye to our destruction. You don’t believe them capable, yet like a thief in the night and in the blink of an eye, you’re gone!
Ask your “Chinese Friend” if he has been welded into his well made and maintained apartment by the authorities lately. The Chinese are very adept at reverse engineering but are woefully lacking in the innovation department (advanced aircraft turbine engines to power their C-17 clone, and others) and they still haven’t cracked the quality nut. Cheap Chinese junk. Works for a while, then pffft. Just go shopping at Harbor Freight.
Yet more idiocy. We get cheap Chinese junk because that is what the American market wants. They want you to purchase seasonal decor and throw it away each year. China makes extremely high quality goods if you’re willing to pay. Most of the worlds top designers get their goods made in China, and then sent back home partially finished so they can add a label and fool you it was made in Italy etc Are you tapping on a made in China iPhone by any chance?

Mr. RTR…My uncle was VP for Dow Chemical for Australasia, and lived in Asia for about 13 years… Dealing with Hong Kong, Tokyo, and S. Korea.
Even the high-end hotels in Beijing (Sheraton, etc) short-sheeted their beds!
Now is that a “racist” comment?? Because it was well known amongst all aircrew that the crew beds were short-seated.
Is that racist?
A badly made bed isn’t racist, but peoples opinions that Chinese are dumb most certainly is! Remember the affirmative action by Harvard against Asian peoples in favor of black people?
Never underestimate your enemy, nor speak disparagingly of him. Speak of him only with respect, and do so very little.
How in the world by having 1.4b people and having a one child policy be a catastrophe?
How can it NOT?
Without replacement (at least one new worker to replace each retiring one) you inevitably end up with too few workers, supporting too many non-producers, a problem for China, U.S., E.U. and Japan.
Robots!

The one child policy ended in 2021.
Yes, China IS somewhat of a paper tiger, in that they have a number of endemic short comings.
They produce CRAP, and nothing but, we have all experienced it.
Think their weopons of war are manufactured to a higher standard?
Yes, they have a demographic nightmare, just like Japan, Western Europe and the U.S.
China is right at the limit, of how long any previous Conmunist regime has lasted.
And, interdependance is a double edged sword; how can China and U.S. engage in a kinetic war, when their economy is utterly dependant on our purchasing their crap, and we are utterly dependant on their crap?
With a population of several billion, China could do quite nicely just by selling to itself.
2/3rds of their country can’t afford even their crap. I’ve been there numerous times. A country of a billion, but only a few million live the good life and support the CCP.
The 3 Gorges Dam has been on the verge of collapse for 2 years or more, due to cheap, substandard construction. If it falls, there are 400M people below the dam … Including Hubei/Wuhan and Shanghai.
One child policy ended in 2021.
“Racist,” pfft!
There is a reason America, up until 2 years ago, was the innovator of the world, and it’s cultural.
It’s our culture of freedom.
People under dictatorships and collectives (Communist, Socialist, Globalist, Fascist, doesn’t matter, all surveillance state tyrannies) may have wonderfully creative and innovative ideas.
But imagine that, for every big idea you have on how to do something right, you have to consider the fact that your gummint usually wants to keep on doing it wrong until the day they steal control of it – and will punish you, eventually, for being the first with the idea, so they can pretend that they/their cabal were the first.
Note: Many will say this rot started here very long ago, and of course it did. But it reached its peak after PDJT, who was the first in decades to welcome the innovation of everyone.
West putting the squeeze on Putin-forcing him to conquer (which he doesn’t want to do) or consolidate and hold (consistent with his original objective) without any negotiated resolution. May have to pay a big price in lives in a presumed coming offensive to basically preserve what he already has. Be interesting to see what the Russians do.
The West cannot “put the squeeze on” Putin, nor “force him” to do anything. If Russia wanted to mobilize a three-million man army and wipe Ukraine utterly off the map, they could do so at any time. But, that is not what they have [yet] chosen to do, and I don’t think they ever plan to.
Putin said exactly what the limited military operation was – and was not. Everything that Russia has done to date remains consistent with that original mission statement, which, in the end, will not be denied. The lands which are now under attack by western Ukraine will be incorporated into Russia, and the attacks will stop permanently. Ukraine will be demilitarized and de-nazified. (Those “Nazis” are real.)
Our knowledgeable (/s) local radio conservative talk show hosts tells us every other day that Russia is losing bigly but must be stopped from taking over Europe.
Local so-called conservative radio hosts in blueMA have also gone wobbly. Started when Howie purposefully torpedoed PDJT’s governor endorsement.
I listen now to podcasts of people whom I identify as worth the trouble. For example, Lou Dobbs, every day.
Every night I pray the madman in the Oval Office is defeated at every turn. Where is Congress?
Gee when were the PRC and Russians not best buddies? When did you not have have to pry them apart like Obama and the senator from SC?
MANY times, check your history.
Is World War III our fate?
Sorry, I’m almost 66 years old, and I’m becoming fatalistic.
From the muck and mire of human existence came America, and suddenly a path to a better world had appeared.
From the struggle for mere survival of feudalism came the industrial revolution and the enlightenment, and suddenly humanity had a way ahead to an ever-better life.
The late nineteenth century seems in retrospect the time when humanity peaked.
Railroads, electricity, radio, germ theory, the automobile and thousands more improvements to the average person’s life I could name. And thanks to the British Empire and America, a time of great peace, relatively speaking.
But Satan, of course, launched his counter-attack. We got Marxism and fascism and progressivism and all their variants. And they appeared in the late nineteenth century, just as humanity was thriving. Why?
Hitler figured out that railroads could be used to commit murder on an industrial scale.
And germ theory produced the Co-Vid vaccine.
Radio gave us propaganda, and I despair every day of my life for what the mass media has become.
Sorry I have no pollyanna words to offer to dismiss this war that may destroy us all.
I recognized several years ago that mainstream liberals or Democrats had become anarchists, even nihilists.
But I lacked the imagination to recognize a negativity (a Devil-worship?) that could consume us all.
I stated this earlier, 1000yrs of enlightenment destroyed in two.
if you are just now becoming fatalistic, you haven’t been paying attention
me, too. I pass thru the living room early this morning. fox news is on (ew). hub and the dog are unconcerned, but, I feel as if Im having a small stroke. praying out loud (pol) and pulling on the full armor of God. there–better now.
Why in the world pay for Fox News when one can stream far better choices?
I don’t get this, sorry. Cut the cable cord 2-3 years ago (I think) and never made a better budget decision in my life.
Tucker and the occasional Gutfeld romp are available on rumble.
And so it begins.
Let’s all remember the most important thing here: 0’Bama’s legacy.
Thanks for the 🤣🤣🤣🤣! Definitely needed that on this thread today…
“All of those U.S. multinational corporate assets currently held in Chinese manufacturing investments, will become outright property of the CCP if the U.S. goes into direct conflict with Russia.”
can somebody please explain? I dont understand the steps contemplated by this statement
Two can seize the assets of foreigners located in their country (banks).
Like we have been seizing bank accounts and assets of Russian accounts here in the US.
NATO and EU did the same to Russian accounts. Seized their yachts and property, etc.
Only now some of the banks saying at beginning they had over 300 billion. Now they are saying they can only find 80 billion.
France a couple weeks ago froze the accounts of RT broadcasting and they had to shut down their French office. It was a two-fer for France. Money and more control of media.
Now they are trying to find out how they can legally do it! They froze everything first before checking legality.
It’s quite the circus.
Precedent has been established. We can do it-China can do it to us.
It’s called, “rows of empty shelves at Wal-Mart,” with no domestic American industry left with which to re-stock them.
The old adage “Make Do and Mend” comes to mind…
The living will envy the dead.
Most of the country, and certainly everyone here, realizes this truth about potential nuclear conflict.
I do hope everyone repeating what we all know here are also busy educating young people in the real world whose knowledge of this is badly skewed by the evildoers in power.
China could not care less about Russia, or Ukraine. China is all about China. That said, we should as the US not be perceived as the aggressors in the US_China conflict. US is way more moral and generous, so we should be the ones maintaining the high road. Again, if only Russia, India and Japan could take care of China (it’s an Asian problem) for us, and we worry about manufacturing and TikTok, we would save the need for another land war in Asia. The Chinese side don’t want us in Asia, and maybe we would be better served to leave. As for Taiwan, well I am a Vietnamese/Hong Konger so I bore a lot of pain before but I live in America now, and Taiwan can survive being communist. Get over it.
I used to go to Hong Kong often, and with leaders like Jimmy Lai, the British rule of law, and the extraordinary courage of the students risking their safety for freedom in face of the CCP thugocracy … Well, I thought that HK would pull it out, and save their autonomy (two systems, one country) until the agreed time had expired.
So sad, and the US did not defend HK. 😢
When we were in the Philippines, HK was one of the best vacation spots. Clark AB had tours there. You’re right it’s very sad.
So sad on so many levels. This all could have been prevented and would have been under Pres. Trump.
Thats WHY they HAD to release Covid, and steal the election,…BECAUSE with PDJT in office, the World would be a very different place.
I’m not so sure. Western Ukranians have been bombarding Eastern Ukranians for many years, and they still are! When it became clear that diplomacy could not work and that NATO’s proxies were about to attack again, Russia chose to strike first with a limited military operation that is still “limited.” It was and is a legitimate national security concern for Russia, and I think that Russia was going to make this [correct …] decision at this point, regardless. “Sometimes you’ve got to fight.”
I came across an old Chinese adage: “The [Chinese] people are afraid of [Chinese] officials, the [Chinese] officials are afraid of foreigners [Westerners] , and the foreigners [Westerners] are afraid of the people [their people] ”
Two things have changed.
1) Now in the West, as in China, the people are afraid of their officials.
2) Chinese officials are no longer afraid of the foreigners.
BuildBackBetter implies a prior destruction. Blackrock is counting on Joe to provide more clients downstream
isn’t going to take much more for us to skip town for the deep country. those behind the wheel of this sled keep heading for the cliff.
Whatever one thinks of him, Jack Posobeic has been saying “Get out of the cities!” for a long time now – probably a year….
the deep state is willing, if not eager, to get WWIII underway in order to cover up its criminal activity in Ukraine and at home
Putin should have vaporized Biden as his plane got high enough into Ukraine skies.
FJB took the train to Kiev.
They didn’t want to give Putin the possibilitiy of making Chicken Kiev of FJB
They could have bombed that train, if they wished. But they didn’t wish.
No, this is MORE than just “wag the dog” cover up.
It was INITIATED in 2014, with the euromaiden staged coup, and if Hillary had succeeded in 2016, we would have seen this all flare up by 2018.
Spot on. As usual.
I don’t know. A stateside drawing & quartering in a very public space, all televised, would make a lot of them skip town, and maybe the country.
Team Windmill. That so sums it up.
I love it too. Sundance wins turn-of-phrase of the week with that one.
I’m rooting for Russia China and I’m not even sorry for it. How times have changed.
Here is an interesting article from 2013 that explored some of the reasons it would be in Russia and China’s mutual interest to form a coalition against the West.
They talk about how doing business with the west recently always comes with imposed moral and social conditions.
How the magnitzki act made it easier to cease Russian assets around the world.
Prompting both countries to create an alternative to the west controlled banking system, intending other frustrated countries to join.
One thing I hadn’t thought of before was the advantage for China to use land for it’s trade routes vs the US dominated waterways.
https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/odr/fable-of-eagle-dragon-and-bear/
It’s an irrational & pathetic state of affairs when a handful or two of psychopathic “rulers” hold the existential fate of million, if not billions, in their evil nihilistic hands.
Only God can help us now. If He chooses to. I’m an old woman, and I probably don’t have too many more years left. But I have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It’s them I’m heartbroken for.
china is going to russia the same way a prospective buyer looks over a house. they like all the natural recources and oil, and they’d like to continue getting those at much lower than the going rate. since russia has almost no other buyers, they are not in a position to argue.
the end game is russia bankrupts itself and wrecks a few generations of it’s men in ukraine. then they become a chinese vassal state. they will feed, provide raw materials and maybe manpower to china as if they were a colony.. china will keep a tight control over them to ensure they never become a threat to china again.
Russia and China have been independent neighbors for many, many thousands of years. I’m quite sure that will continue.
I mean, who wouldn’t prefer WW3 over mean tweets? C’mon, man!
The next phase of Crazy World seems to be Armageddon. MAGA cannot let that happen, and the clock is ticking faster every second. Since when is the Globalist Crime Syndicate running the planet inevitable and unmovable?
It seems most still view this as US/west vs. Russia/China.
That’s the manipulated view. The trees, vs. the forest. The hand behind the curtain seeks to maintain this “narrative”.
The old declining hegemony governments (US bloc) are pulling out all the stops to gravely weaken their own nations, while BRICS nations continue to strengthen.
Its not just one thing, like the old hegemony using Ukraine to deplete their weapons, further constrict energy and drive more inflation, break the petrodollar reserve monopoly, add to their escalating unsustainable debt, and further destroy trust in the US.
Its many things on many levels, all working together on a longer timeline, a la Sun Tzu “The Art of War”.
To name just a few:
Energy/infrastructure strangulation, associated high inflation and economic contraction, further decimation of industry.
Transportation crippling with forced EVs.
Slow attrition demicide by the two-part bioweapon, with added blighting of lockdowns, masks, and isolation.
Hundreds more mRNA bioweapons being rushed to mass deployment.
Identity class Marxism/Maoism, eroding meritocracy and driving deep division and distrust.
Mass immigration over the southern border, driving lower wages and housing inflation.
Accelerating government overspending, driving even more inflation and unsustainable debt toward system collapse.
All driving a culture of lies spinning out of control.
All under 100% surveillance, countless sensor feeds fused into supercomputer AI analytics informing the hand behind the curtain.
There never was a rational reason given for the US supporting Ukraine v. Russia. Now a reason is materializing: Deplete US/NATO weapons. Add even more to their huge debt. Increase fear and anxiety in their citizens. Provide a pretext for the dragon to rise up, spread its wings, collect its close allies together “to defend its ally”.
The old self-weakened hegemony will not be able to stand up to the dragon & co. War provides a way to default on all the state debt, impose wartime totalitarian powers on citizens, reset economies under totalitarian rule, and usher in the new hegemony under the dragon.
All the major players have a part in this theater. Its a coordinated plan. The new hegemon is calling the shots behind the curtain.
That’s the forest.
The question is: Will the reset be accomplished by surrender, or catastrophic war? The dragon doesn’t want a radioactive destroyed world, so it probably won’t go to that level.
Interesting analysis.
Back in the Soviet era, the CIA would watch the alignment of Russian dignitaries on Lenin’s Tomb to try and gain an insight into the internal reality of the Politburo was at that point in time.
The Polish military analysts watch the Russian State TV to gauge the same sort of information. And the Polish analyst have been by far the best analysts (most correct/least wrong) coving this current Russian invasion, IMHO.
Aside: The running joke is that the Poles should be this good since they’ve been watching Russian invasions since the 1550’s. 😉
Below is a clip from Russian State TV. It needs to be stated that the clip below is selective, since it is put up by a Ukrainian advisor to the Interior Ministry.
But on the other hand it also needs to be mentioned that these Russian State TV pundits have as good of an access to the top echelons of the Russian establishment within the current Politburo as anyone. These are the Jack Tappers and Andrea Mitchells of Russia.
So that being said, this clip worth watching to get a feel for what’s the “mood” is on the other side of the Volga.
The west is doing all of this on purpose. You have to wonder why…..is it all to hide the pending economic crash, or are these people just absurdly stupid ideologues? Anyone who has been paying attention knows that the US is totally incapable of any kind of ground artillery war. Neither is NATO. The number of, and quality of, our armed forces has diminished over recent years. I don’t know what these people are thinking.
How do you hide an economic crash? Even a war can’t do that…unless it’s nuclear/EMP and there is no power, water, or food.
The majority of Americans do not support any war
The currently configured US political system that is controlled by an unelected criminal organization is, to be sure, marching us into a war with Russia and its newly minted partner China. Russia has been forced, no doubt, into a corner by this unelected cabal but Russia does not have anyone’s best interests in mind other than Mother Russia’s. It’s critical to remember that. Russia is not an existential threat to the US or the West. It merely wants to secure its borders from NATO expansion and not serve as the West’s whipping boy because the US and the EU can’t manage their finances. But China is a different matter, altogether. If allowed, they will grind us up into whatever grist pleases them. The existential problem is that we failed to maintain our own house. We didn’t fight when we needed to fight. It’s not too late. If we refuse, then we are being pressed into something awful not of our own making. But then so were the Jews in Hitler’s Germany. They failed to fight too.
And Bongino succinctly how the CCP would invade the U.S….and guess what folks they already have done so. You don’t think they don’t have sleepers here? They do.
And no, they won’t be activated to “kill” Americans. Rather they will dismantle infrastructure. They will get Americans to fight and kill themselves.
Open Border. Spy balloon. Farm land. CCP police stations. Now align that with: food sources burning down or blowing up, hazmat accidents, bad chicken feed, and other attacks on infrastructure (i.e., the attacks on our grid in various locations).
You don’t think the CCP has this game planned? You damn well better believe they do. The CCP is not stupid unlike our leaders and more so, not only are our leaders stupid- they are bought and compromised.
let me get this straight… FJB and his puppeteer lefty loon’s justification for this insane, catastrophic Ukraine foray costing $billions upon #billions while threatening the U.S. with a nuclear holocaust is that its the “right thing to do”??????
Well said Sundance.
There is no strategic purpose to engage in war with Russia. None.
The biggest threat to existing power structures today are the Globalists, with their access to western armies.
Today, China needs Russia to help defeat them. Today. Live to die another day.
I doubt that Russia needs any assistance at all. They have not engaged much of their armies at all.
But, if NATO does do the wrong thing, then start looking for many empty shelves at Wal-Mart.
Russia should remember – acutely… The enemy of my enemy is my friend – until they’re not. RE: Soviet/Germany pact of 1939.
https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/the-soviet-union-and-the-eastern-front
Western alliance: stupid people.
Need evidence? What is their military strategic priority? Diversity. What is the #1 existential threat to free peoples? Global warming.
That’s what they say.
But we know it is a lie and they know it is a lie, and they know that we know, and on and on.
Their military strategy is power, control, and ever more moolah for the 1% on Team Windmill.
The divide in America is amazing. The American democrat communists want to go to war with communist China and once communist Russia. The disconnect is astounding.
Not to say I told you so, but I did several years ago. I said there was NO WAY that leaders in large powerful countries like Russia, China, India, etc. with their own language, culture, history, borders and ARMIES would just roll over and give up their power to the globalists, whose power consists of feeding off existing systems with extortion and terror, …or a caliphate.
While Russia and China and Islam may have happily joined with the globalists to destroy all of the above in Christian cultures (borders, history, etc.), the idea of the enemy of my enemy is my friend would inevitably stop when their enemy would, by the very nature of globalism, turn toward them.
At that time, I did not foresee that western armies would become useful tools of the globalists, but that does not change my premise.
From the article:
“For instance, Wang emphasized that Moscow and Beijing both support “multipolarity and democratization of international relations” — a reference to their shared goal of countering the perceived U.S. dominance in global affairs”
In other words, we still support destroying the US, but don’t F with us.
And, now that the Western armies have become useful tools of the globalists …to be used against THEM, they have, as I predicted, joined forces against the globalists.
I would not even be surprised if Russia and China wake up and realize they can support the non-globalist USA citizens to defeat the globalists. The enemy of my enemy… Not pretty and will be bloody, but well within the realm of possible. Pray for God’s mercy.
“Multi-polarity” is inevitable – and much to be desired. A one-legged stool cannot stand up, while a three-legged stool cannot be toppled. Redundancy, fault-tolerance, and choice are good things.
People who are engaged in international business should have several alternatives that they can freely choose from in order to provide what they consider to be the best deal for their clients. They should not bear currency-conversion costs if they don’t want to, and they certainly(!) should not be tied to use the currency of the worst currency-manipulating country in the world … the United States. It’s coming, and the world will become a much better and more stable place when it does. Even the United States(!!) will benefit in the end.
It’s a win-win for China watching the U.S. & NATO expend it’s treasury and military supply while at the same time having a weakened Russia needing China’s assistance, be it arms or diplomacy…It’s king making for Xi.
^^^
It’s almost as if NATO has the same strings attached to their commanders as do the EU nations, the United States and their installed leaders. It would be easy for one to surmise that all strings lead to the Davos WEF globalist central command. I’m being misled intentionally that we are fighting a proxy war in the Ukraine by our fake news. Can it not also be said that if China sent arms to Russia for fighting in the Ukraine, they too are also in a proxy war. Albeit I’m betting they trade arms for petroleum and natural gas and getting something in return. We on the other hand will get nothing but a bloated deficit.
There’s only one thing that the USA/EU/NATO needs to understand about an escalated, direct war: You will lose.
You are not the manufacturing juggernaut that you were in 1945. You are rapidly running out of those “Tom Swift weapons,” and a billion-dollar Patriot missile system burns up just as rapidly as anything else does when hit by a precision munition. Whereas, Russian factories are humming 24/7/365 producing everything that Russia needs. These materials can be shipped directly to the battle fronts over Russian soil. You want to fire 40,000 artillery rounds per day? You got ’em!
NATO has never fought a first-class enemy, and let the record show that it did not do particularly well in the “wars of choice” that it has elected to fight in various deserts. The USA, now totally dependent on China(!) to manufacture virtually everything, has, as I said, not fought one in nearly eighty years. And it is nowhere close to being the self-sufficient powerhouse that it was back then.
I have no concern that Putin is in any danger at all of losing his position. The USA/EU/NATO can topple a leader in a little country, but Russia is anything but a little country. Putin speaks for the people of his country when he says that their “Motherland” will be stoutly defended and will not fall.
Frankly, in this case EU/USA/NATO vastly overestimate their capabilities, which are in fact very weak. Actual wars are not won by “Tom Swift.”
Excellent point. That said, we should not discount that when the Globalists realize that Russia has joined with China and India to fight against THEM, that they may just find it in their interests to ramp up the war manufacturing here at home in the USA.
China will believe they will come out on top and will do what they need to achieve that. Alliances will form accordingly.
That sounds very suspiciously like, “Make America Great Again …” Trump should have pitched this as a national security issue – which it very certainly is.
Right now, on that point, this country has made itself naked. Modern warfare is very much a contest of manufacturing, and right now we can’t do it.
Forget the illusions that “Tom Swift” (or, nuclear) can enable you to avoid a slogging, bloody, conventional ground war which consumes all kinds of resources in prodigious quantities. Resources which must be immediately available for replacements. We cannot do that now. We are nowhere close to being able to do that now – and it is by our own stupid choices that this is now so.
Can you imagine Biden trying to run a war on two fronts ? Throw in that US manufacturing can’t be ramped up overnight. How many people in the US are even educated or involved in manufacturing knowing that the US can only be is a “service” economy according to our betters ? Then construction of any facilities will be delayed while Petey Buttigager is counting skin colors on the construction crews.
I posted this in the Presidential Daily thread but cross posting here too:
The Military Summary guy posted late last night about a report by the Russian defense minister that something is possibly brewing between Ukraine and Transnistria. The guy running the video channel never posts at that time unless it’s a big deal. This video is only about 10 minutes long:
