I think someone in the Biden White House thought they would try to score points with people who heard the rebuttal speech given by Sarah Huckabee Sanders following the SOTU – maybe they were trying to achieve that vibe about the surprise visit to the troops.
That’s exactly what I was thinking, this was all staged to try to one-up President Trump’s visit to Iraq (the one Sarah Sanders referred to in her “after biden speech”).
