Nope, it’s not the border crisis and millions of people unlawfully flowing into the United States. Nope, it’s not the collapsing economy or massive inflation that crushing the working class. Nope, it’s not the skyrocketing cost of fuel, energy, oil and gasoline as the direct result of catastrophic energy policy….
…”Providing assistance for the Ukrainians to defeat the Russians, that’s the #1 priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans. That’s sort of how we see the challenges confronting the country at the moment.”…
Those are the direct words of Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. WATCH:
.
Tell me again how the Republican party is salvageable?
McConnell is a traitor to America!
So is his reliable lapdog, Joni Ernst.
Almost all DC swamp critters are too!
Don’t forget John Cornyn. Our senior Senator. Bleh.
I sent him an email to ask how compromised he is and DON’T SIGN BILL!
And the mediocre, ever-present, wh0re L’il Marco.
I feel yr pain, we have the worst _ Lindsey Graham.
I think Marco is a sleeper Commie. You ever notice how he and Scott play off voters?? Rubio up for election- Scott votes for all the anti American bills. Scott up for election next- Rubio steps in to cover.
90% of the Senste Republicans could care less about America or the people.
We should just, right now, create the MAGA party and abandon the GOP sinking ship.
He has to get elected before he settles some scores.
WFB wrote about this decades ago, and he was 100% correct. This is why the big government types cannot abide MAGA or Tea Party conservatives: because they are an existential threat to big government.
Methinks not. We (PDJT etc) are proceeding correctly, as evidenced by the hysterical kvetching by the DC pols of both parties and the Intel Cartel. The Demoncrats are all fading geriatrics, and have no viable Presidential candidate for ’24, and the GOPq is putting all their eggs in the DeSantis basket. If our esteemed SD here at the treehouse has the silver bullets he implies, and even if not, the DeSantis switcheroo is likely to fail, and even using him as a splitter won’t work, since the entire GOPq is detested by the base. Maybe they’ll run him as a third party candidate? Anyway, I’m rambling now…
everyone knows the definition of insanity, so whyinthehell … ???
had Patriots started a 3rd Party after it became obvious the Rs were not our friends (2012) we’d be well along toward Restoration by now. I always say, Rs were born in 1854, Lincoln was elected in 1860 – who says it can’t happen again?
A 3rd Party would have elected Trump in 2016 just as perot could have been elected in 1992 had he not turned into a crazy bastard. As It Was, Perot got 19% of the vote. We’ve needed a 3rd Party since Rs abandoned Reagan.
a 3rd Party may be too late to contemplate now, The ONLY other answer is Divorce. Can we start considering that – SOON?!
…more accurately, starting another Party would make the R Party the 3rd Party
Various threats, abuse of power tricks and actual damage were used by GHW Bush to cause Perot to first withdraw, temporarily after he regrouped, but seem more crazed.
I was no Perot voter but he got amBushed…
Amen, I’ve been saying that for years.
On several points, Bin laden was correct.
How about a John Doe party? It could work!
The “John Galt” Party.
Who is John Galt?
But vote….
Thank you for that…
“Providing Financial Support for Ukraine is #1 Priority of the United States and Republicans Now!”
The citizens of the US have no other option at this point other than to walk away from these communist oligarchs in congress and this entirely corrupted, broken federal government that designs policies to harm their citizens.
States need to decouple themselves from the federal regime:
1. hold a Convention of States, we only need a few more states to do so
2. Enter a bloody succession war with us winning by sanctioning the globalist USG regime.
3. Stop taking any federal money and we ignore all federal illegal laws they have created
4. Abolish federal taxes and only pay state sales tax.
5. Consolidate all states National Guard into the Sovereign Forces and also poach current military members who are America patriots.
What about the elderly on SS & Medicare? How will they live? Some can work, but the really old can’t.
The States really have enough to pick up what they cannot claw back out of the Feds. They stole most of it anyway- Clinton left the “lock box” open when he left.only budgeting now pays for it.
Tell me again how the Republican party is salvageable?
This is the central question of the age. I’m a lifelong Republican that has supported every Republican initiative and candidate since I could so, and I’m fed up. I don’t see a way around the Uniparty dynamic. The Deep State proved it won the field in November 1963. Its time for a reprisal of the Sons of Liberty and a Constitution party to rally around.
McConnell is an OG architect of 0’Bama-ism..
Translation: It’s the priority of the Western ruling class for their personal interests exclusively. It has nothing to do with general benefice for the citizens of the West.
FUBAR… where is the help for our veterans????!!
Are you saying that Zelensky has an actual FEMALE Wife??? HOW on earth did he get the Democrats to use him for a figurehead in the Ukraine?
Cue another round of arguments over/against new Maga party proponents that the 100year strategic plan of “We just gotta replace the Rinos” is all that is needed, of how splitting the GOP would hurt everybody, ballot access hurdles, etc. The only difference I see between the Dems and the GOP is that the GOP is driving the country off the cliff at a slightly slower rate of speed. Even if taking over the GOP could work, I don’t think we have enough time for that strategy to work before we are in irreparable totalitarianism. I say divorce this abusive spouse and move on. Will that hurt, at least in the short-term? Sure it will hurt. Alot. Every revolution has its sufferings. But this lesser of two evils tenuous relationship with the GOP we are in now is just dishonest and still leads us off the cliff. They do not answer to us the base. They answer to their Globalist Big Corp donors. Just rip off the band aid.
OK, doing some reading this morning. I wonder if what sundance always says that there are no accidents in politics. (At least I think that is what I remember him saying.)
Isn’t it possible that there is much more here than meets the eye? The obvious is what sundance said – with so many problems here at home, why are we sending our wealth to a country like Ukraine, a country that even Obama could see had no strategic value to us.
The first thought, of course, is that this is ongoing blackmail – since these are the people who in all probability have been paid off for years – and the Ukrainians have the goods on them. While I wouldn’t disregard this, I think it is still simplistic thinking.
In my reading this morning, I came across this from Andrei Martyanov’s blog:
“Translation: MOSCOW, 20 December. /TASS/. Transneft has received applications from Poland and Germany to pump oil for December, 2023 and the first quarter of next year, respectively, despite reports of unwillingness to continue deliveries. This was stated by Transneft President Nikolai Tokarev on Tuesday on the air of the Rossiya-24 TV channel. “They announced that they would not take oil from Russia from January 1. And now we have received applications from Polish consumers: give us 3 million tons next year, and 360 thousand tons for December, and Germany has already submitted an application for the first quarter “Give it to us too,” he said.”
It appears that Germany and Poland do not wish to be relegated to vassal states, even though they do want to posture. Do they know something is up? Do they know that there is a huge change in the works?
Then, from The Saker’s blog, I see a link to Alistair’s article on the Strategic Culture Foundation where he says:
“But … can the West, which has been so deep in denial about both the incredible economic and military transformation that has occurred in Russia since 1998, and in such vehement denial too, of the capacities of the Russian military, simply slide effortlessly into another narrative? Yes, easily. The neocons never look back; they never apologise. They move to the next project …”
And, finally, on Larry C. Johnson’s blog, I read:
“So why would British Intelligence give the Economist the green-light to tell the truth? I think it has something to do with the tsunami of strikes flooding the English labor force, double digit inflation and scarce energy. This trifecta makes it politically impossible for the UK to continue funneling billions into the black hole of Ukraine. I think this is the first sign of wavering resolve on the part of the Brits. Will NATO follow suit?”
And that brings me back to this post by sundance where Mitch says that Ukraine money is most Republicans’ priority.
Again, if we assume no coincidences, shouldn’t we wonder if there is about to be an abrupt change of direction in Ukraine? The neocons, from my reading, are already starting to change the focus to Serbia, where they can most probably poke the Russian bear without fear of a humiliating result. Isn’t it clear that Germany and Poland are anticipating something like this? Does anyone who reads material other than the American Pravda today really think NATO can stand up to Russia on Russia’s doorstep?
In other words, assuming no coincidences in politics, shouldn’t we assume that McConnell is positioning the GOPe to hang another disaster around the necks of Joe Biden and the Democrats? Wouldn’t it go well with the recent one in Afghanistan?
How about easier explanation. The money given to Ukraine is then funneled back to the Democrats’ and probably to the Republicans’ coffers also.
His crooked finger is loaded and pointed directly at “you”….(us).
This headline reflects how far off the rails US elected officials (and bureaucracies) are. US has many domestic concerns it should focus on first.
What they don’t say out loud is US needs to punish Russia for leading the world off of US dollar reserve currency.
And why take this action?
Because our fiat currency will be crushed when this happens and these same politicians (many of whom are enriched by their position) will be held accountable by US citizens.
They will put this off for as long as possible, no matter the harm to Ukraine/Ukrainians.
Cocoon, 100% this ^^^
I hate them all.
Mitch trying to save his money laundering operation…
This guy is the worst of all. A true traitor. Until he is gone no Republican will receive a vote from me.
Endless wars make some people very rich.
Thermonuclear World War III will destroy everything.
“According to most republicans”. What a line of bs. This shows you that he knows it’s bad but he’s trying to save face by claiming that he’s just doing what his constituents want. Anyone in Congress that has been there more than 12 years needs to be voted out.
McTurtle literally talking out of the side of his mouth. The GOP with this leadership is not a viable option. I see lots of primary opportunities in the senate over the next several cycles. Several positions require defending. Ukraine is not being inundated with millions of illegal aliens.
Didn’t Zelensky outlaw opposition, control the media, and attack churches? That democracy? The one who appears to be engaged in blackmail, extortion and cryptocurrency laundering? The Turtle supports the penis pianist? Topple the Turtle!
… I was wondering where he was… he popped out like Jack in the Box to pull his usual stunts… i.e. being a useful idiot to the Democrats and betraying his constituency.
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls ofgovernment itself.
Too many traitors for the USA to survive.
I live in the country.
Me and my neighbors have this priority: paying our heating and electrical bills on top of then gas tank expenses, food and property taxes that keep going up despite no home improvements.
What is he talking about?
What a total anal orifice! He tells Americans that the conservative priority is some country in a different continent while we are heaving with illegals, inflation, unemployment, taxes and death from a mandated injection. These people are evil, out of touch and need to be removed.
I am tired of the bs and nice feelings from these bastards.
Anyone who is STILL a Republican….
Why on Earth did Trump support this POS getting re-elected? This backstabbing sewer rat was doing very poorly in the polls and he would be a memory by now if Trump hadn’t done that.
It is not salveageable.
I’m weary of this to the very bottom of my soul. The GOP has blatantly demonstrated over and over this past 2 years that they have no problem raiding the US treasury right along with all of their Dem compatriots. Ukraine is our highest priority? Really? From this day forward I am not going to give another single dollar to any GOP politician or to the RMC…only directly to President Trump’s campaign. Sorry Sundance but I have, in fact, “lost faith.” There is evidently not enough of us to make difference.
I’m done. Finished. I think Trump knows this country is done. He hasn’t a prayer of getting elected. The cheating makes his task insurmountable. I’m not ever voting again. Until there is a third party. I can’t in good conscience vote for a Republican ever again At this point I’m just in it to get what I’ve paid into this rotting corpse of a country. I’m glad I’m old. I’ve had it. Something snapped in me today. I’m gone. Checking out
Mr. Breener, we could share the same church pew very comfortably. I too feel like I’m done. Finished.
I’d love to have access to the phone records in McConnell’s office to see if he has any excuse for actually believing this…
I’m sure McConnell has moved up several levels in the CCP. He has been a good Comrade..
Our Republican Party – the one we knew – turns out to be the one we thought we knew.
Guess who took summa advantage of our trust! Let’s see… Was it the “Republicans” whom we now know despise the traditional, conservative values and ethics of the millions of voters that constitute The Base?
Was the Party EVER as we believed it to be?
I feel filthy by association.
Mitch, along with his Band of robber baron brothers and sisters, must be relieved of all official – AND UNOFFICIAL – duties: IMMEDIATELY for refusal to represent and stand FOR the Republican voters in 50 States. When you’re the U.S. Senate Majority or Minority Leader, you represent EVERYONE in your Party.
Missouri, I am not at all persuaded that you voted for the re-election of this smug thug in fancy dress. Was this yet another “selection”?
Have the elections of these pseudo-Republicans acted as the test drive(s) to determine how much coordinated election fraud the Nation could and would withstand before imploding?
The political jettisoning of Mitch & Co cannot happen soon enough.
We must have Party Leaders and elected officials who, whether they like it or not, MUST REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF THEIR ELECTORATE, AND THE BEST INTERESTS OF THIS NATION.
COLD ANGER doesn’t even begin to describe…
The Republican Party is not salvageable.
I still don’t understand the relationship between 2 private corporations and governments to select candidates for office. Until Sundance spelled out the corporation part, I had no idea. Exactly how does this work?
The cadaverous Mitch McConnell.
Scum bastard—what about Americans?????????
It is not, I am a life long R, My Dad was, but now even he would give up on the RP. New Party is in the wings.
New Patriot Party- NPP
Slogan: “Let’s Nip this shit in the bud, Bud”.
I hate the neocon warmonger, corporatist, globalist, America last RINOs and uniparty establishment.
The U.S. has no business being involved in the Ukraine War whatsoever.
I only support grassroot, populist, patriot, constitutionalist, MAGA, Christian conservatives.
If we are to salvage the country, confiscate the globalist’s money and ban the fed.
