Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has come under fire for his transfer of illegal aliens from Texas to Massachusetts, Martha’s Vineyard. The Lawfare operatives within the leftist open-border community appear to be targeting DeSantis over technical elements in the Florida law he used to transfer 50 alien arrivals.
The legal maneuver being deployed to target the Florida governor, seems centered around his authority being limited to the movement of aliens who traveled to, or were residing in, Florida at the time of their transfer – as constructed in the Florida law used to authorize the use of taxpayer funding for his action. {LINK} As the argument is made, if the aliens were never actually in Florida, their legal transport would not be covered by the FL legislative authority that provided for their removal.
Today, during a press conference to announce state sales tax relief, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis fired back at those who are targeting him. WATCH:
.
The transport of the alien arrivals to Martha’s Vineyard was a great way to bring attention to the national border crisis.
The illigals are now suing him for transporting them. Hah, more like the Leftists are.
Be sure to ship several thousand to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
A country without borders cannot exist as a nation.
An illegal alien is a Foreign National that illegally
entered the USA.
If Abbott and De Santis were serious, they’d be transporting the illegal immigrants back down to Mexico City. Instead they are using them for political props, just like the Crooked Communist Democrats. UniParty does all it can to keep everybody stirred up and focused on anything BUT the crooked effin’ UniParty Deep State New World Order Alliance.
If what is happening at the southern border now had happened 100 years ago either the U.S. Army woulda stopped it, or a whole lot of armed citizens on horseback would have. Didn’t President Eisenhower have the army round up migrant workers who’d overstayed their work-visa permit? Democrat Communists in the United States have succeeded in destroying our sense of national pride and devotion to duty. We are allowing these cunning, psychopathic political actors to destroy us, and our way of life, and we ain’t doing a damn thing about it. Shame on us, all of us, starting with me.
P.S. I made a mistake. UniParty psychopaths are not political actors: they are ravening political animals.
Steve Bannon has said it would take at least 16 years to undo the damage to our Republic caused by both parties. The Maga agenda is just about that. There is a chance, but realistically it is slim, especially when coupled with the moral decay of our citizenry, of which I blame many of the churches, which have gone liberal, departing from the Word of God, by which the Spirit inspires faith and morality, including things like, “We shouldn’t be cheating in elections”, or, “It is my duty as a representative to fight for election integrity.”
But anyways, as far as reformers, it is essential to get this right–not just in 2024-2028, but in many Presidential terms beyond. This is why I and others currently want nothing to do with DeSantis in the federal role of President. I’d say the same of other Governors like Noem. We need D.C. outsiders immune to the big donor class and fearless of the 4th Branch–who cannot be bought and will not be sold…who cannot be brought to heel by them. Yes, we can equally say we are fine (relatively) with DeSantis on the state level of a Governor. But I have no confidence he would be the reformer we need at a higher level.
Again, 4 years of Trump will not be enough to undo the damage and right the ship. Who will be both willing and able to faithfully and resolutely take up the cause after him? I do not know. But it is highly unlikely that it would be a career politician, unless they had such a fear of God above all else that they would do the right thing despite the briberies, threats and/or attacks of men. Even they would stumble at times. But you get my point. I honestly can’t think of a politician I would have any confidence in to be one of those reformers we need. I might say Thomas Massie, but he may be too nice for the dirty warfare to be waged in the job. I mean, a reformer, a liberator, doesn’t mean they don’t have some roughness around the edges. They often do. Take Churchill for example.
I’m probably in the minority but as much as I like sending illegals to leftist cities over and over again, I think this move was orchestrated by the RNC to bolster DeSantis for a run in 2024. If it was purely to bring attention to the border crisis, why hasn’t been done before with illegals in his own state? Something doesn’t smell right but then I’m skeptical of the motives of all politicians
And McConnell supports it.
So now NIMBY means Not In Martha’s Back Yard!
Love Ron, Love 45.
Simple as.
Just came over to see what ya’ll are up to & there you are again tying yourselves into knots over Governor Ron De Santis – if it wasn’t so tragic, it would be amusing.
At least give some prop to the weakling Abbott. Keep sending them, lol.
Calm down everybody. Reading through some, not all comments, everybody seems more concerned about DeSantis political aspirations and not what’s happening.
So far, his actions have brought the hypocrisy into plain view for anybody who cares to see it, to actually see it.
Nobody cared about illegals being dumped into other cities until they came to their cities i.e Chicago, New York and where the rich hang, Martha’s vineyard. All Democrat ran cities and enclaves.
DeSantis is showing to the world just where democrats priorities lie, and its not for anybody but themselves.
Even tho the immigrants are illegal and many of them are treasonous, murderous criminals they are human beings. These creepy psychopath UniParty politicians are using human beings for their own political advantage. In the process they are destroying our way of living in the United States. UniParty is merciless. They don’t give a damn about you, or me, or anyone else. UniParty = Agents of Satan. Bank it.
“sanctuary community”
“hate unwelcome here”
“we’re all in this together”
i guess not…
non est mendacium (it’s all a lie).
Reading the comments here about DeSantis and Trump, with a few notable exceptions, brings to mind Ripley’s great line, “Did I. Q.’s just drop sharply while I was away?”
