Yes. President Trump was not permitted to submit the names of anyone of whom the Deep State did not approve. The Deep State’s “preferences” were communicated to the President via Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Since by law the Senate interviews nominees for Cabinet positions and agency heads, they have final say on who gets through their gauntlet.
Sundance has, on numerous occasions, described the deceitfulness of McConnell and the Senate “DeceptiCONS”, all of whom are deep state-controlled corrupt individuals who have NO interest in an honest DC outsider getting into a position of authority where that person might expose the deep and wide corruption & grift that has been embedded in Swamp politics for decades.
President Trump came into office in 2017 with a huge disadvantage – he was an outsider to DC politics. As such he was mostly unfamiliar with the true ethics, morals and loyalties of the people inside the Swamp from whom the candidates for his cabinet positions would be selected. He was ‘advised” by other DC insiders and most likely told that any others who weren’t on “the list” would not be approved.

Can’t impose qualifications on holding the presidency by charging Trump with violating a federal statute—the qualifications are set out in the Constitution, not by statute. The search for a “crime” to banish Trump from politics will have to continue. Even a convicted felon can become President if elected to office, even if he/she is serving time in a jail cell, as the Chief Justice administers the oath of office.

Here’s what I’ve been mulling over for a couple years.
The divorce cannot be by region, though states need to do their part to resist and let people vote with their feet. Ulimately, every region can be corrupted.
Somehow, and this is vague, but there are smart people out there…
Create a constitutional union that we join that rejects all socialist and/or facist ‘laws’, political weaponization, corporatocracy, technocracy or medical tyrrany.
Strict proof of ID required for membership and benefits. Ruled by law for the benefit of people not for corporations or political hacks. A panel of diverse people (by walks of life, experiences — not merely color) for each sector/type of legislation.
Our taxes go for true infrastructure only, etc. Charity / social services are through churches or other private organizations. No labor unions, but biblical treatment of workers — no exploitation of citizens or migrants. 100% medical choice and funding alliances. Drs. serve patients not government. Free to practice from the Christian ethic.
100% private school. Pay for your own or homeschool and do your research. Etc. Etc.
If you are a member of the union and are guilty of a crime, you are kicked out — or face capital punishment or servitude to the corrupt.
Place constitutional union representation in every single beauracracy to reject laws and statutes before they ruin our lives.
I’m sick of the speed with which this destruction is propagated on us … Our state representatives don’t even read what they foist on us. maybe years later a court takes a peek and may or may not be a commie. Stop it before it happens. One case before a court means thousands of others likewise harmed who have no means to litigate.
Everyone outside the constitutional union can do as Sam Adams suggests. If they want to live as slaves to corruption, that is their choice, but they use all their own money in that socialist ‘utopia’ for their enslavement, not ours. All the filthy rich corporations can fund the dependency from the rot they sponsor.
Also, less dependency on corrupt elections. We choose the people for our constitutional union that are forbidden to accept $ from corporate or political PACS. One platform to view candidate qualifications, no TV ads, no slimy campaigning. You can’t vote for someone until you are informed. Candidates vetted for constitutional knowledge.
If any proposed law from ‘Congress’ does not abide by the limits of the constitutional union, the other side can fund it from their own ‘charity’.
Toss it around. Hoping that if there is a will there is a way. No one wants a civil war, but how much longer can we be pawns in this corrupted system? All our tax dollars are used to enrich the beast and fund our destruction.
If the deep state can operate without regard to who is elected, why couldn’t a citizens constitutional union provide more stability from the ravages of our current political sewer system?
We have many different conservative organizations, but no traction.
A lot of that is well thought out, and not impossible. However, you have missed a very big problem. If you do not claim the name of the United States of America, you are giving the bad guys all the nukes. You are also giving them the loyalty of those who take the oath seriously, but are not smart enough to figure out that what would then call itself the United states, is actually a pale imitation of it. You cannot count on All Good people being constitutional geniuses. And the United States constitution, as written, is really very much like the state you propose. And we Revere the constitution, whereas the left abhors it. Claiming they think it should be a living breathing Constitution, meaning not worth the paper it is written on. It is they who should leave. If need be, maybe we should kick them out. But we cannot afford to lose our valid claim to be in the true heirs to the founding fathers and the framers of the Constitution.
It is very important to try to do this through the elections this November. Notice I did not say 2024.
If the Deep state is able to hijack these elections, right in front of our eyes while we are watching, there will never be free elections again. But, if we can watch closely enough, and act on the spot, and catch them in the act when necessary, so that the elections are free and fair, the Democratic party will be virtually eliminated.
I believe we could then decertify The 2020 elections, have a special election and elect Donald Trump, and then have Donald Trump begin a four year term.
Notice, the procedure for what happens when an election for president is invalidated is not specified, but the term of an elected president is 4 years.
It could all be done by Spring, an American Spring.
