Facing a blistering amount of criticism for several false statements, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced today he was resigning.
Prime Minister Johnson took to the podium outside Ten Downing Street with a massive number of cameras and media microphones awaiting his predictable announcement.
The Daily Mail has all the details – SEE HERE.
I would not be surprised to see the British leftists try to use this opportunity and overthrow the Brexit movement, fighting -once again- to get back into the European Union.
Overthrow the Brexit movement? Is there still one? It’s not like Boris was doing anything to implement it. All he was doing was weakening. it.
And they have the audacity to call him the British Trump! 😏 Ha!
The UK desperately need a true nationalist who will get them out of the EU permanently.
Nigel Farage, Charles Murray.
Who will the next WEF Davos plant be? Are there any conservatives named Muhammad?
Meet the new boss…same as the old boss.
Simply the same old dog washed and groomed to look different?
Theresa May is tan, rested, and ready!
The amoral people, like Romney or McConnell or Boris Johnson, now gravitate to the conservative parties. Power for the sake of power, individual ambition before the country.
The leftists are driven by ideology, and globalism surpasses nationalism. Trudeau would sell his mother to the globalist fad.
Globalism and leftism, of course, are not to win in the long run, but human lives are not the long run.
Can’t have a new whorehouse with the same old whores.
😂😂😂
You made me think of PJ O’Rourke’s “Parliament of Whores”, perhaps his best ever and one that is absolutely timeless.
😂 👍
😊
Paul Joseph Watson tweeted it best…
“Unelected Prime Minister Carrie Johnson finally out of office.”
The world became a different place, about a century ago. when women were allowed to share in democratic politics.
Conservative Americans totally fail to recognize this, when citing the Second Amendment, to answer our now frequent mass murder events.
Women respond emotionally to emotional stimulus (sexist? OK..) Leftism now dominates our social culture because women are in the majority. Arguing cold logic will not win the day. Try harder.
Right…because there were no leftist governments before 1920. You might want to study some history before you show more ignorance.
And in the meantime stop with the female hatred. Every mass murderer in government has been a man. Do you think we should prohibit men from holding government positions because they are prone to murder?
Please cite these leftist parties?
Let’s start with facts..
August 20, 1920…..the day our country began its decline.
The Brits have an old saying…
“Stick with nurse for fear of something worse.”
And I expect worse is definitely coming.
The Hochul Play.
Exactly so, Maquis.
Assuming the nurse isn’t poisoning you on purpose. That would be the NHS.
Medazolam…the wonder drug for achieving the grotesque purposes of the rabid depopulationist Johnson and one of his BFFs Gates.
The NHS killed my father in law.
Sorry Betsy Jones. May he rest in peace knowing you will never let him or his cruel death at the hands of evil dictators and their minons be forgotten.
That’s very kind of you, TwoLaine. Thank you.
Here they use Ativan and morphine. I am sorry to hear about the elder Mr. jones. I have posted before the best thing that could of happened to me was losing health coverage in ’08 although it took me another 8 years to become prescription drug free. No more poisons from Big Pharma.
I’m so glad for you, CR. Being free of those horrible things loaded with side effects is truly a good place to be, my friend. And I’m so glad you are in it.
Always remember to ask your doctor if a drug with 32 pages of side effects is right for you.
That would be my neighbors, both nurses, one works at the VA that is ignoring me to death, who are trying to finish what my BPD Ex started by poisoning me with their froufrou laundry products.
For some, hate outweighs humanity, and being able to end lives whilst pretending compassion seems to attract such specimens.
Herr Schwab’s Selection Committee is working on that right now.
Isn’t that the first name of the London Mayor?
Sadiq Khan. Boris was Mayor of London once upon a time.
Sadiq, such an Anglo-Saxon name, like Sajid or Rishi.
It s now, G, per all the “immigration”. Language is just as fluid in Britain now as it is here…and if you say differently, they’ll charge you with a hate crime and stick you in chokey. That’s what the UK is now.
And yes…you noticed as well. Add Patel, Home Secretary and Chancellor Nadhim….well…you know.
Everywhere in the west its the same. RINO out RINO in.
Almost as if this was the plan all along. He was never a strong Brexiteer and he is not a strong conservative. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover – but it’s getting darn easy to spot sellouts ahead of time. Overweight, slouchy, soft face… yeah – I said it. Bears a little resemblance to Crimo. These sellouts are deadlier than Crimo.
This, Bojo the clown claimed to have seen the light about Brexit right before it was achieved. He was never going to allow an actual Brexit to become a reality.
And to think…it was only a week or so ago, Boris and his WEF mates were having a jolly good public laugh about a shirtless Putin.
Nemesis has arrived for Mr Johnson. May he come for the rest.
In all honesty, I’d be OK if the Grim Reaper came for them all. THAT would be justice.
Indeed it would. Never forget…and I hate to say it, never forgive. They’ve killed millions and destroyed the lives of millions more. For some things there is no forgiveness, and the evil they have all perpetrated and been paid by Big Pharmacy to do, is unforgivable.
I’m with you 100%. So too, I imagine, are countless others.

Starmer secret Brexit plot exposed: Labour to drag UK ‘kicking and screaming back into EU
RED Wall Tory MPs have warned Labour would drag Britain “kicking and screaming” back into the EU despite Sir Keir Starmer’s new Brexit plan.
By KATIE HARRIS

https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1635877/brexit-news-red-wall-tory-mp-sir-keir-starmer-brexit-plan
Would Labour like place the UK back under the EU bootheel? Yes.
Do the Tories have a reason to be stirring up Brexit as a campaign issue, given the unfolding economic disaster they are presiding over? Yes.
Is there any point to Brexit if the UK continues down the garden path of the Green New Deal? No.
If the Tories support an independent UK, then they should govern that way. And if they don’t, they have no right to be waving the Union Jack.
Starmer says not. Don’t believe him. He’s pathetically weak anyway, as is everyone passing for the “political elite” these days in that country.
The only one I see who has the gravitas for the position is Jacob Reese-Mogg, an old school conservative in the style of Thatcher. Erudite, well bred, well spoken, brainy.
But I doubt very much he’d be considered by the 1922 Committee, which has primary influence over who will eventually succeed to the job. Backroom deals coming.
“I care not how the people vote, or who they vote for, so long as I control their choices!”
updated version of old stalin quote.
Yes…that’s the parliamentary system all right.
Agree about JRM but have not heard his name mentioned at all with regard to running for PM.
As for the rest of them, as far as I know and I stand to be corrected, but none, not a single one has ever spoken out against the WEF conspiracy, and it is a conspiracy, or against the installed nazi zelensky.
I know. Neither have I, and I’ve been listening. You are correct about the rest. Unfortunately.
(I see autocorrect thought what I had typed was wrong…REES-Mogg.)
For a really REALLY good series to watch on how the selection process works, I can highly recommend the EXCELLENT “HOUSE OF CARDS”… the original British one starring Ian Carmichael, long deceased now.
Just superb, and gripping, and not anything like the American one, which frankly I detested.
This one shows all the skullduggery and positioning that takes place in the choosing of a Party Leader.
And a supporter for large scale migration into the UK
Made all the right noises, especially his incompetent waste of space Home Secretary Priti Patel. Sound bites…that’s all she is good for.
Johnson wasn’t the real deal. What is coming will definitely be worse, and he let it happen.
While Johnson’s fall is unlikely to change British policy in terms of its Urkaine [Green New Deal] policies anytime soon, this is the first Western administration to fall because of those policies.
There will be more, and the next is likely to be the one located in Berlin.
Netherlands
Perhaps. But the German coalition is fragile, the German economy is in free fall, and the German people are facing a winter without enough energy to keep themselves warm.
France or Italy? Macron is already weakened, with the La Penn majority in parliament.
Italy cause those Italian farmers are pretty frisky.
I pray for nationalism to come back to Europe. The bankers will start as many wars as they have to keep that from happening. Europeans deserve to rule their own nations and have countries of their own. Their own currency, own traditions, and cultures that are strictly European. These “leaders” are selected because they are weak and corrupt. The people do not have representation in the west. Traitors all.
The EU hierarchy wanted rid of nationalism. They managed to put a blanket over it but didn’t suffocate it. One cannot knit multiple countries with different histories, languages, and cultures into a cohesive body which requires those countries to put a knife into the heart of what they are.
I’ve always thought the EU would eventually fail. What’s going on there now just might usher in its death throes. And like you, I hope for a resurgent, strong, and permanent rebirth of nationalism.
About a month ago, Gonzalo Lira posted a video about what will happen in Europe after Russia wins the war. He believes there are politicians in Germany, Italy, and UK — not the current first-tier policy makers — who recognize what a rolling disaster the EU’s Russia policy has been — and will be even more manifestly in a short time.
Among other things, Lira expects those politicians may be the ones to assume power after their constituents have become thoroughly sick of what was served up for them.
If BJ’s successor does not work in the constituents’ interest, maybe the one after that will.
… that is … aside from the dismal scenario presented below by commenter ‘Right to reply.’
Actually, I think Lira mentioned France instead of UK.
Biden will send them our Natural Gas.
It failed because Boris was a lying shit. He was given more than enough opportunities to correct course and was either too bent or stupid to do it.
WEF will step in, and fill the void as planned.
We are now on the verge of Nuclear war!
Iran, Russia, China To Run War Drills in Latin America https://freebeacon.com/national-security/iran-russia-china-to-run-war-drills-in-latin-america/
I could care less. He was a covid tyrant.
Just like the rest. No loss.
His party voted no confidence in him. It was just a matter of time. And all you have to do is look at who didn’t vote against him. Those who voted in his favor are their version of the RINOs.
Awesome.
However, be certain they have another WEF stooge waiting in the wings unless the Brits put their foot/feet down.
The new PM gotta be a black lesbian with a hispanic or muslim surname and extra points if he/she/it is transitioning.
Immigration, including illegal immigration, has increased tenfold under Boris.
This is the marker.
Doesn’t matter which party.
If they are from the West and they push more legal or illegal immigration they just want subjects and not citizens.
This is the rot.
Hmm…not sure what to think…
Boris is WEF…just got obliterated.
The Georgia Guidestones are WEF… just got obliterated by ?DEW.
47 just unveiled new plane…
Never conceded.
GG was obliterated by some good guys in a long silver sedan with a sunroof..
I saw that car in a video.
It could have been 1000 miles away from the Georgia Guidestones…at the time that the DEW blew them up.
So, Randy,
Do you have a purpose in life?
That is, other than working for the FBI to entrap good people?
I was hoping Boris Johnson could complete the exit from from the EU. Despite winning the majority vote getting out it has been a fight all the way. He turned out to be less effective than was hoped for. Britain is so enmeshed in socialism it may not be possible.
Yes. All our WWI and WWII soldiers fought and died in Europe for nothing. It didn’t take those countries very long to go back and suck on the socialist teat. Shame on them all. Now our leaders are going that way too and our brainwashed or braindead are following along thinking the socialist teat has more milk, but it drains dry real fast.
All of our soldiers thought they were fighting for freedom but didn’t know that they were fighting in alliance with the bolsheviks and communism. FDR cabinet was completely full of communists. If General Patton wasn’t murdered, he would have come back to the states and ran for president while warning the people of this monster.
Putin 1, Davos Cabal 0
1 down, many to go. As we can all see so clearly, another Rino is no improvement, so WHY cast your sacred vote for them?
Torie no better than liberal, R no better than D, we have to drive the Uniparty out, everywhere it has metastisised.
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha!
Imagine still ranting about supporting Ukraine when your country is smoldering? What a joke. The government is led by fools.
I nominate loyal subject and water carrier, Gunga Din.
Gunga Din may just get the award! Now known a the Goldman Sachs golden boy, Rishi Sunak! Vile snake, and very corrupt
True, true, true. His uber wealthy wife is a bit dodgy as well.
Sawbuck to a C-note a woman replaces him.
Please not goofy Liz Truss.
The Biblical “cows”?? Amos 4:1
Not her, dear Lord NO !
As obsessed as Britain is with woke credentials, diversity, blah bla blah, and with their current disdain for anyone white or particularly white and male, I expect the 1922 Committee will search for a politically correct candidate.
Useless…chosen for her “woman-ness” only…because competence and the gravitas needed for the position is nonexistent.
Boris Johnson resigns? Like really, so what? They’ll just install another leftist puppet in his place, as they are easily replaced, especially if you’re not properly doing your job pushing the Liberal World Order agenda.
Another pedo will replace him.
Bravo Comrade! Out you go. Take the trash with you please.
“What’s in your closet, Boris?”
Good, every Brexit debate, reminds us the Uniparty ploy is used in all the 5 eyes countries, and beyond, adapting to and gaming whatever the political system is.
Because our enemies are GLOBALIST, our war with them is GLOBAL, as only UNITY can thwart their evil plan.
Nigel Farage, Marie La Penn, Canadian Truckers, Norwegian and now Italy and Polish Farmers, Jan 6 protesters, yellow vesters, WE are all ONE, standing in Unity, for Liberty.
It really IS that simple.
Thank you Dutchman could not agree more it really is that simple
Take this as more good news. The Machine functions on its own time-table. We’re free-thinking independent particles of it with a deep conscience which drive us to seek some actions which are actually taking place through all the other particles around us.
We just go about our business cheerfully and happily as wily as serpents and when the Machine starts changing you’ll recognize it.
We all know Socialists are cowards. When the Men (represented in their particular set of particles) start moving against them, there will be nothing they can do.
Just do what the Lord wants you to every day, and watch what happens.
I have heard it said in that part of the world there are bad leaders and worse leaders. Hopefully the British are smart enough not to be deceived into going from bad to worse.
The British population will get what they are given.
Their only electoral input is to select their Member of Parliament who then votes on the candidate for Party Leader, who then runs as the representative of that Party for PM.
The population has no overt say in the process which is about to play out.
Too soon, the British will go from Queen Elizabeth to Charles. Worse.
He’ll have to learn to shut up. He won’t be able to speak freely with the crown on his head. I’m not sure he can do it.
it was all over for the British back when Disraeli was PM
Is Trudeau next?
According to Nigel Farage on Steve Bannon’s warroom this morning, the American Press has gotten this story completely wrong by reporting that BoJo has resigned as Prime Minister.
Nigel Farage and another Brit gentleman (whose name I should remember, but don’t), on air this a.m., stated that Boris Johnson has resigned as Leader of the Tory Party, and that this does not equate with a resignation as Prime Minister.
It was explained that there is no set of mechanics similar to our system of Impeachment available to the Members of Parliament.
Translation: other Members of Parliament have no official tools to remove a Prime Minister. The PM can resign, but according to the two British gentlemen discussing this topic with SKB today, Boris’ resignation was limited to removing himself as Leader of the Parliamentary Tories: the Party.
The Queen has the responsibility to officially open each new session of Parliament, and apparently she has the responsibility (power?) to dissolve Parliament in a serious political crisis. At any time, when the determination is made to dissolve the current Parliament, the Queen (or King) will issue the call for new elections.
This is what I understood them to say. To fellow Treepers who are better versed than I, please add to this, and / or correct as necessary.
If there have been further developments to this story during our American daytime clock today, I am unaware.
I missed naming a significant contributor to the information above:
Ben Harnwell, Brit, and if I understood correctly, apparently a former Member of Parliament, currently lives in Rome and reports / writes about European and Chinese chess moves taking place on the geopolitical game board.
Ben made significant contributions to the on air WarRoom discussion of the developing Boris Johnson story.
And there’s more now from Ben Harnwell, posted on GETTR:

How Boris Johnson could still serve as prime minister until 2025

Nigel explained that nuance very well. Whoever takes control of the elected Conservative Party in government will slip right into the Premiership and stay there as PM until a snap election is called, or the rest of the Party’s term (5 years) in office is complete.
The Queen is a figurehead in these matters, a seal on what is decided by the party in control. She has no say on who serves as PM…she simply receives a new PM, or accepts the resignation of one. On the basis of that she will call for a new election as a matter of protocol.
The Queen’s speech at the Opening of Parliament is written for her and she simply delivers it. She has no input.
A fancy word that Americans shun is “zeitgeist”, the spirit of the age.
Very ambitious but less than adept politicians like Romney or Cruz try to harness this beast.
Leftism or a leftward drift is surely the spirit of our age.
So limousine liberalism profoundly plagues us.
The billionaire Lebron James is the paradigm o f limousine liberalism.
Women and blacks now are routinely, mundanely leftist.
Start there..
By tradition, it is impossible for Johnson to remain PM after having resigned as party head.
The problem is there is not anyone to take over immediately, and British tradition holds there always needs to be a serving PM… the office cannot be vacant. So the Tories have to select a new leader, and then the Queen needs to “ask” that person to form a government.
Once the Tories select a new leader, that person will become PM.
Under the current circumstances it is unlikely there will be a general election.
Agree. The way this has all been reported is peculiar to me. Sounds like picayune manipulation of the marginally corrupt kind.
I’ve never heard a resigning leader saying he’ll “hold on until October”, as Boris reportedly said he will do.
Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice.
A good question to ask is, “Why October?”
I’d love to know…it’s as if some grotesque WEF plan is nearing execution and Boris is playing an important part of it.
You are correct. There are no official tools to remove a sitting PM, except a vote of no confidence in the Parliament. However, a vote of no confidence is against the govenment, not only the PM. Basically BJ has said that he will remain as caretaker PM until a new leader of the Tory party has been elected. The he will resign and allow the new leader to take over the lead of the government. A lot of the “commentariat” and a large number of the Tory MPs are very upset. They fear that BJ will be able to make some kind of comeback, or initiate new policies.
Boris Johnson has said that he will not do so, this will be up to the new PM, but presently the politicians in UK are as thoughtful as a French revolutionary crowd in front of the guillotine.
IMHO I think the Tories have completely lost it. BJ shoudl have been kicked out becuse of falied policies (the pandemic response, immigration, taxes, energy policies etc etc), but to be so upset by the fact that he was less than truthful regarding a completely irrelevant “sex scandal” says much of how far the British political class has sunk.
But of course, not telling the truth in front of the House is a no, no. As found out by for instance Profumo (another sex scandal, but it was the lying that did it):
“Oh what have you done, cried Christine
You’ve wrecked the whole party machine!
To lie in the nude may be terribly rude,
but to lie in the House is obscene”
Though Profumo resigned in disgrace, his is such a remarkable story of redemption. Truly one to read. I’d go so far as to say he recovered his honour in the end.
I agree! But the point I wanted to make was that it wasn’t the scandal as such that forced Profumo to resign, it was the fact that he had lied to the House when denying the affair.
PS Don’t forget his wife, Valerie Hobson, who stood by him throughout.
Yes, Mikgen. You were right to bring it up. I was simply adding on. Back then honour was still a thing. It isn’t anymore.
That’s not what the Daily Mail says. Their caption under the big photo of him reads, “Prime Minister Boris Johnson walks back into No10 after addressing the press and the nation as he announces his resignation as British Prime Minister”
No surprise that the Daily Mail does not understand the unwritten British constitution.
The man who never met a comb.
Toodles old chap.
All I want to say is, good riddance to bad rubbish. Don’t let the door strike you in the ass as you leave.
Western Pol : Putin must go!
Putin: Lol
Johnson phoned Zelenskyy and told him “everybody loves you.” No words.
One of the Irish news sites reported on Johnson:
He cultivated a reputation as a modern Conservative who championed causes such as gay marriage, immigration and membership of the EU’s single market. (my emphasis)
This is precisely the problem because none of these are conservative causes. They put him solidly in the same camp as his opponents. It is quite mind boggling to think that conservative people actually voted for him. Perhaps this is no different from what happens in the US that politicians claim to be conservative but their actions and lives show this a lie. Media spreads this lie by holding them up as prominent conservatives – but they are in fact deceitful hypocrites.
Conservatives have always prided themselves as “the Party of low taxes”.
Taxes under Johnson and Sunak have risen inexorably. Add in all the new ones accompanying the adoption of every aspect of the Green New Deal, and Boris’s lot can no longer claim that accolade.
He’s as far from the Conservative mantras of the past as he can be.
I heard the new PM is this Iranian guy?
No. Have to have a leadership election within the Conservative Party, which will take a while as the candidates set out their stalls.
Lurch Kerry-Heinz’s son in law?
lol, I read an Iraqi migrant?
I’m pretty sure Meghan’s available.
Johnson reminds me a lot of Trump, all of the backing in the world from his supporters. Elected to roll out massive and much needed change…
Piddle away all of it while playing hapless or making the absolute worst choices with just about every possible situation and incompetent cabinet picks.
To paraphrase a Dem politician of the past…Johnson is no Trump.
In no way is he.
His hair is kind of similar, but other than that …
😂….close but no cigar. Johnson doesn’t own a comb.
Yet the results are remarkably the same!
Watching Nigel, I see the difference between a Farage and a mirage conservative.
The “conservatives” would never back Farage, even if he were in Parliament. He’s a real conservative, and they’re scared of those.
Yes, the Conservative Party (as distinguished from the Conservative Party voter) is now leftist. Labor is the militant left.
Most today have done there best to change the definition of conservative from constitutionally principled to lofty Christan morals with zero principles seeking a juxtaposed version of social democracy.
It’s the same thinking that rolled in the Great Progressive Age.
So ends the mediocre Government of the George W. Bush of Tony Blairs, masquerading as the Churchill of Trumps, as a Chamberlain spouse to a Murdoch of spouses.
Don’t let that black door hit you in that big fat keister on the way out.
Borexit.
Yep. I can read the lede now: “Boris Johnson’s fall demonstrates the complete failure of every policy he didn’t pursue.” GB has only 2 political parties – Conomunists and Labomunists, rather like our own country where there are Repomunists and Demomunists.
Conservatives seem to always start at the disadvantage that our putative leaders are intensely ambitious, but only on the individual level. Boris Johnson, or Romney or Ted Cruz (the list is long), these social climbers will do whatever it takes to rise. Except enact the social changes they claim to want.
Leftists operate with an ideological burden that never ends, but lying to advance their cause is most profoundly forgiven by our corrupt media, or by fellow leftists.
Paradoxically, this means the greatest of sins is trying to do what you came to power promising to do. See Reagan, see Trump.
Systems protect themselves, and politics is a system.
People willing to work within the system of politics will be supported by that system, those willing to work against the system will be attacked by it.
Lordy! I wish we could hound Biden* out of our White House this easily.
Glad that mop is back in the closet.
Quitting the EU is much like trying to resign one’s membership in the Mafia. It just isn’t done. Nations trying to get in to the EU might want to reconsider.
EU: Welcome to my parlour said the spider to the fly….
Channeling his Cromwell…
“In the name of God, go!”
(That stupid phrase “it’s the right thing to do” is a requisite part of any politician’s speech in Britain, and I’ve grown to despise that banality.)
Once the greatest nation in the world, now a complete disgrace. Poor Britain. Who would have ever thought the west would be in such decay that people would be clamoring for a Vlad Putin because he puts off a little bit of nationalist rhetoric. It shows how badly the west wants strong and serious men to lead again. Good riddance, although the next prime minister will be a davos stooge as well.
Came in like Trump but became Obama. The British RINO.
No, he didn’t come in like Trump; he came in the way Hillary would if she could.
Both Johnson and Clinton have only cared about BEING the head of state. Boris stood for NOTHING all his life, the way our RINOS have. Hillary was once a lib but is now a prog or whatever her finger in the wind tells her she NEEDS to be.
Trump came in wanting to DO THINGS and he knew what those things were. HE never wavered in that regard.
He came in a big supporter of Brexit and anti-globalist policies(Trump) but never quite got it done as he encouraged foreign migration/interventions, climate change policies and unionism(Obama).
Nigel Farage is on Bannon’s warroom right now discussing Boris Johnson topic.
Nigel Farage is on Real America’s Voice (War Room w/ Steve Bannon) right now (Pacific, 2:04; Eastern, 5:04)
When Johnson refers to the citizens of the U.K. as a member of the herd. You know, you have the wrong leadership.
‘But, as we’ve seen at Westminster, the herd instinct is powerful and when the herd moves, it moves”.
Johnson should have been supporting Russia and should have realized that the covid non-vaccine was and is killing a lot of British people.
“‘Of course I am immensely proud of the achievements of this Government from getting Brexit done, to settling our relations with the Continent for over half a century, reclaiming the power for this country to make its own laws in Parliament, getting us all through the pandemic, delivering the fastest vaccine roll-out in Europe, the fastest exit from lockdown and – in the last few months – leading the West in standing up to Putin’s aggression in Ukraine”.
