They might even hold hearings on it….

DC is concerned about the Awakening of middle class America 🇺🇸
A lot of red-pilling has occurred in the last couple of years. It’s been going on in “the underground” for years. The response to Trump’s election and how he was treated red-pilled a lot more. Then Covid and the response red-pilled even more. The rate of awakening has been on an upward trajectory, hence, the way the elites, globalists, Uniparty, banksters, et al (aka, enslavers) have been acting in response and in prepartion for what they think is to come. What will the awakened do? What will the enslavers do? Time will tell.
red vs blue is bs elections in the USofA no longer matter. Is McConnell really that much better than Schumer? McCarthy better than Pelosi? Bush better than Obama? the numbers are probably about even…but we are better armed and resourceful, they are better protected by the system and entitled. It will be one hell of a matchup when the lights go out!
I said nothing about red vs. blue (I assume you are referring to Republicans vs. Democrats). I used the term Uniparty, which is a nod to the lack of differentiation between the R’s and D’s. Perhaps you have not seen ‘The Matrix’ as that is what red-pilled is in reference to? Have a good one!
‘Merica WAS libertarian, once upon a time:
https://tommullentalksfreedom.com/featured/when-libertarians-won-landslides/
. . . the founding generation were all “channeling” John Locke in 1776. Jefferson called Locke one of the three greatest men who ever lived on multiple occasions. Near the end of his life, he penned a resolution for the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia to ensure it was Locke’s worldview that was taught to students.
When George Mason referred to himself as “a man of 1688,” he was referring to the Glorious Revolution and English Bill of Rights, both inspired by Locke’s principles.
So far from these founding principles had the republic strayed under Federalist rule, believed Thomas Jefferson, that he referred to his presidential election as “the revolution of 1800.” In his first inaugural, he called for a return to libertarian principles, describing “a wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned.”
‘Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses.’
– Plato
(The essence of “The Matrix)
I’d say yes , in some respects McConnell is better than Schumer. When the Repugs are in power, we don’t get full bore Marxism like we are today. We may get socialism but not this. Democrats are always worse. I’ m not saying I like McConnell or approve of most things he does. He’s a fascist, not a Marxist.
As a whole they’re a vapid, obtuse bunch–but the smart ones know they can never put the Genie back in the bottle. When Bill Maher is cleaning their clocks with example after example of their idiocy, there is no going back-a reckoning is coming, the only question is at what cost and to whom-
When you’ve lost Jim Cramer….
Jim Cramer is now singing a different tune. Lest we forget he supported Joe Biden, calling for a return to “normalcy”, and championing “the adults will be in charge” if Moe Biden is elected.
Is Jim Cramer afraid his credibility is shot since he joyfully campaigned for Joe and loved Joe Biden’s policies? High inflation, high gas prices, high food prices, a 20% drop in the stock market, higher interest rates have brought people together in disgust and distain for Pres.Biden’s policies. Some people believe Joe Biden planned this hurt from the jump. Some people believe Joe wants Americans to suffer.
And Jim Cramer will never be trusted again.
Good
Never trusted him to start with. Or any of them for that matter, except Lou Dobbs.
All Biden has to do to stop the inflation surge is:
A: Bring the Russian-Ukraine Conflict to an end (mostly for optics!).
B: Announce that oil and gas drilling on previously released federal land will resume at full throttle.
C: Allow the already approved Keystone Pipeline to be constructed as planned (mostly for optics as well!).
The price of oil will plummet to $50 a barrel and the inflation bogeyman will be destroyed. Sure a few million environmental wackos will be pissed off but they are always pissed off anyway!
and those whackos will forever hbe pissed, even when committed to the mental wards in the futre
Since you mentioned mental wards, we don’t have enough and need to build more. A very high percentage of the homeless have serious mental health issues. Ditto those folks who commit mass murder. Improve our mental health system, and things will get better.
This is true, but, as long as living in mental institutions where they can be treated is voluntary, they will not stay. They do not stay in shelters either.
It is going to be up to each state to build mental wards/hospitals not only for the safety of the general public but the patients as well.
How do we keep them incarcerated? The same as prisons. Unfortunately, it has come to this.
There are quite a few bankrupt shopping malls that could easily be turned into hospitals.
I’m responding to this entire sub-thread, not you personally.
FOLKS ALWAYS REMEMBER THESE SITES ARE FILLED WITH ALPHABET AGENCY TROLLS. THE MAIN GOAL THEY SERVE IS TO TRY TO CREATE FAKE CONSENSUS.
Red Flag Laws are not reliable because they totally circumvent the Constitution. They have no due process for a reason. Our controllers don’t want us to have any.
They are no different from the adjudication of ‘mentally ill,’ which is a bogus corrupt process that completely eviscerates due process not to mention modern notions of science.
The Soviets under Kruschev used mental hospitals to intern and repress challenges to the Communist regime.
There is no worse example of corrupt government overreach and parasitism than the involuntary commitment process. The opaque bureaucracies that grow from it have zero accountability to the public they purport to serve. They only make money from having bodies in their system.
Just do the math.
Not to mention who would staff those mental hospitals.
The very same “medical community” pushing for government forced “safe & effective” vaccines, revoking medical licenses of dissenters & endorsing & performing “transition care” for children.
I don’t wish that “treatment” on anyone outside of the executive & legislative branches.
Look, in Democrat run ghetto cities they don’t even lock-up violent gun criminals repeatedly dropping gun charges by the thousands each year. Aren’t these arrests red-flags already?
Tech glitch.
Who decides who is mentally unstable? What criteria would be used to make the diagnosis? What agency would (enthusiastically) enforce the incarcerations?
Am seeing a social credit score scenario here…
Ever try to get the “homeless” into a building? Any building?
Let us not forget to start building coal-fired and nuclear-powered electric generating plants. That would go a long way toward lowering the cost of energy. While we’re at it, let’s improve the electric grid and harden it, so it’s protected from EMP attacks and sabotage.
DC obviously wants us to be vulnerable, among other catastrophes put upon us.
Its in their playbook.
Sorry, you can’t stop what’s already in motion. The Federal Reserve has no tools because our government continues to borrow endlessly. The Federal Reserve is trapped!
Every-time they raise rates, the interest alone costs more. The Dollar going up causes the world economies who issue their debts in dollars, cost them more to convert their own currencies to pay the interest.
The Fed is TRAPPED!!!
Watch Europe, they are the first to go, Japan next, then USA, bringing down the entire global economy.
We still have time to go but it’s coming.
Which is exactly why we need to address the supply/demand imbalance for oil! Raising interest rates does nothing to increase oil supply. I hope the idiots at the Federal Reserve realize that we simply need to increase drilling!
They are trapped CJ. It used to be that they would raise rates to slow spending and lower rates to increase spending. Their main problem is Government, they continue to borrow endlessly in which the Fed has no control over.
I hope people can understand how serious this all is.
Plus… nearly 60% pay fo the 40% in the public sector. This is not going to last.
They are scared to death. They know and so do we.
If I was them, I would be very afraid to go home when the bubble bursts. Wait until you see the GHETTO RATS start looting food stores. Now you know why they have DC fenced in.
They are not scared…most if not all have no business experience and have never met a payroll. They don’t understand economics…only their thirst for more power.
And the media cheerleaders are at their back.
The light won’t go off until 30 days before the midterms.
I think most Americans are tired of the high @$$ taxes paying for the parasites who provide us no real service.
How is anybody trapped? The Federal Reserve doesn’t have to do anything. Biden just has to open up oil production. Oil prices plunge and prices of things plunge too.
CuJoe didn’t stop production, his handlers did.
The oil companies have already told BiteMe to piss up a rope: they’re not about to risk the capital investment of restarting an expensive drilling operation with these idiots in charge, ready to shut them down at a moment’s notice. They’ve also noted the threatened apocalypse of the “green new deal,” which will destroy the Industrial Revolution. And create worldwide famine and poverty. Nope, they’re not going to play this time.
They, and we along with them, were caught between a rock and a hard place, in 2008.
The measures taken to prevent a worldwide financial meltdown didn’t eliminate the event, they just post-poned it, the measures needing to be permanent, because rescinding them, EVER, would bring on the only postponed castastrophe.
“Can you feel it in the air tonite,…oh Lord!
I been waiting for this moment,..for all my life,..oh LORD!”
Phil Collins fan? 🙂
Gubmint created the financial panic of 2008…too much easy credit to individuals who had a zero balance sheet yet the lenders were ordered to loan to these certain individuals to check the boxes.
Same thing will happen in about 3 years….materials shortages now have curtailed the number of houses/lots coming on the market.
This is the endgame of the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank 109 years ago, and the abolition of sound, Constitutionally-mandated, precious metal currency, plus the gargantuan government that has been funded by it.
Not sure how much time we have. It is not a year away. Also, do not make excuses for the central bank, they work for the globalists, not us. The owners of the central bank (also not us or US) make money off of every Federal Reserve Note they print, if IIRC, 6%.
Reply to both Dutchman and Lolly,
Think about when times get tough in your personal life, you slow your spending down right? When the banks were bailed out in housing collapse, they did what we all did, they parked the money and did not lend it. They were unsure as well.
We have time, when we start making new highs in the markets, then you’ll know time is close. Years, as in 2032. I believe in cycles and learned about them mid 2000’s. Then, I found Armstrong Economics in 2009 and this guys computer “Socrates” has never been wrong. Martin has what he calls the ECM (Economic Confidence Model), it’s fascinating.
Socrates is NEVER wrong!
I don’t make excuses for the Fed Lolly, I understand our Global Economics and you are placing the blame in the wrong hands. It’s not the Fed or the Banks, it’s our POLITICIANS!!!
They continue to borrow with no intention of paying anything back. Government throughout history are always the cause of their empires collapse.
Rome had no Federal Reserve but the followed the same path, the minute you start debasing currencies, Ignore the Rule of law, you loose confidence in the people and other nations.
D: Fall down and not be able to get up.
I rather Biden doesn’t do any of it All the quicker Trump is back where he should be and does it correctly.
But he promised Barack, George & Klaus that he would break America for them!
None of your postulates will occur. You know that. We know that. These are “true believers” in every sense of that term. “By any means necessary” (BAMN) is their credo.
OBiden has to WANT to, first.
And they don’t want to.
This is what they want.
He would never be allowed to do those things, even if they crossed his mind.
They are concerned about the awakening of their own voter base.
Prior to implementing their Green New Nitwittery, they could count on their voters not having much concern for what they were doing in DC.
Now, those same voters are reminded of what is happening every time they go to the grocery store or stop at a gas pump.
Typically the left would do something stupid like this with enough time for their voters to go back to sleep before the elections. Or, they would do something stupid, then use taxpayer dollars and some scheme to keep their voters on the plantation.
That ain’t happening now, and every day between now and the mid-terms will be more waking up to what is happening.
If only the voters on the right would have a similar awakening for those RINO’s that have been happily helping the left every step of the way.
Perhaps you blinked and missed it,…I see the awakening, the RINOS backsides are bare to the wind.
For the most part I agree, Dutchman on the House RINO’s. Now we need an awakening on at least 10 Senate RINO’s.
The American two-party system, or frankly all multi-party systems, seems a poor facsimile of tribalism.
America had the advantage of belief in something larger and more profound – call it Americanism.
American leftists like Obama now mock this.
Americanism. They have two advantages – they are selling the endless Marxist dream, and they are selling the “not America”.
So American leftists are now cagey enough to treat leftists with reverence, while American leftists are now actually contemptuous of the atavism of tribalism. Nice work if you can get it.
You got it brother! More specifically, they fear losing power or worse
At this point, losing power isnt enough.
They need worse to happen.
To them!
Yes, they deserve much worse
Like Rush Limbaugh said for many years, the Left must be destroyed forever. I do believe President Trump is doing just that.
They’re not going to lose power. I don’t see any of them sweating November.
We’ve done nothing about election fraud.
they get “cut” from $40 billion…..
Absolutely. We print fake money, becomes real when they deposit it.
Piglosi has already said she is confident in the upcoming Nov results
I suppose you think anything Pelosi says is credible?
I suppose you missed the shenanigans that occurred in Nov 2020
Yes, we have but perhaps you didn’t notice.
Much is going on in Az., Georgia, even NM is getting into it.
What have YOU done about election fraud?
Have you attended the monthly GOP meeting in your area?
Met your precinct captain, or District, County or State Chairs?
Read and begun implementing the Precinct strategy, for expunging RINOS from the Republican party.
Perhaps I should say “Post for yourself”, or “Who’s ‘WE’, you got a mouse in your pocket?”
We, our Representatives. I know and appreciate that there are hard working Americans getting involved.
Believe it or not the left has done more to expose election fraud than the right! By their own sloppyness and incompetence, they have enlightened the right. There were hardly any conservatives digging into elections and watching for fraud prior to 2020, but you can bet there are now! No one will be allowed to stuff a ballot box without a citizen confronting them.
I hope you’re right.
If they lose…not much changes…the spineless R’s cowering for fear because of a negative media story or because Cocaine Mitch will cut them off from their stipends…will not do much to rectify the situation.
Not to mention fear of mostly peaceful terrorists showing up at their homes, kids’ schools and places of worship.
They’ve over played their hand, too much too soon ( New York Dolls) the amount of cheating they’re gonna be faced with will be epic….. well more epic. Not that they won’t try.
As well, they should be. What follows is likely not going to be pretty.
What will follow isnt planned to be pretty.
For us.
There will be blood.
I’m thinking.
If you are struggling for basic survival , you are less of a threat to the big club.
I respectfully disagree. When the basic needs like food are threatened or people start losing $$, history shows this is when the electorate acts. It’s called “skin in the game”. Up to this point, it’s all been shits and giggles. The giggles are about to stop.
Which I suspect is why all these bad things are happening. They want us weak and subservient.
And to be dependent on Gubmint…
Means might be more stressed but resolve can be invigorated. Our founders faced similar circumstances before and during taking on the premiere military in the world at the time. They did get help, yes, but it was their resolve which carried them through.
However, I tend to view this through the lens of war, rather than what this site is about, peace. In the latter, yes, a weakened population is less of a threat, presuming that population is inured to peace regardless of circumstances and suffering. They are fighting an enemy on the enemy’s battlefield, by the enemy’s rules of engagement and while buying the enemy bombs and bullets to kill them with.
Witness the vaccine bombs and bullets provided by the American taxpayer. One tiny example. Good luck!
Umm, yeah.
They’re concerned it won’t go high enough.
Nor increasing fast enough.
Yeah. They won’t be happy until America is a bloody mess like Venezuela. There goal is to do the exact same thing here. What I can’t figure out is why anybody in their right mind would have that as their goal.
Just look to see who profited from the demise of Venezuela.
Maybe there is a clue there.
“…anybody in their right mind…”
There’s your answer, they’re not.
closest gas station to me went from $4.69 this morning to $4.85 this afternoon.
4.59 on Friday, went to 4.89 today.
$5.61/gal (mid grade) in Washington State, north of Seattle
$5.47 for mid grade in in the Tri-Cities.
$5.47 for mid – grade in the Tri-Cities Washington.
Around my parts in Southern Oregon, its creeping up to $6.00.
By Independence Day it should be there.
For diesel its already only a few pennies away from $6.00.
Getting time for Independence Day II.
We are $6.79 here in norcal for midgrade.
$4.79 on Friday to $5.19 on Monday! Joe Biden and his fellow Commies are INSANE.
Insane and evil.
One does have to be insane to be as evil as those in the Biden admin.
Topped off a rental car near the Oakland airport on Saturday: $6.99. The most expensive gas station in any city is the last one before the rental car return.
“Location, location, location!”
I’m off cross country on another moving trip – it’s so much fun to be old and alone and moving once again! – I paid $4.29 all the way across the South and into Utah, soon as I hit Nevada, $5.69. The West is so seriously f**cked.
Nevada gets its gas from the California refineries so whatever happens in California ends up in Nevada.
not…..part of the expense in CA is the formulations they require for their fuel blends….CA can have “local shortages” when they cannot adequately supply these blends because NO one else makes them
I think it’s predominantly blue state tax structure driving the delta.
central OK (where oil wells abound) gasoline was $5.699 as of 06/12/2022
It was over $5 in No Idaho-when I left on Thursday to come to the $6.79 in commiefornia….
Be grateful! Ours are all in the mid $5 range, rapidly going north of $6!
We’re at $6.02 a gallon northern Nevada.
I’m in Winnemucca this week and it’s $5.69 all the way down to the Rye Patch (spent four glorious nites there this weekend at the Reservoir), where it jumps over $6.00
I am really surprised that the truckers haven’t gone on a national strike by now.
Currently the CONgress is busy with gun legislation laws. Under the false front of school shooting but in reality they want to disarm the citizenry. They are afraid of what will happen when the tipping point is reached. Shoving the WEF agenda driven madness down our throats and destroying the nation is more vital to them than following the constitution. The real insurrection has yet to happen. Keep your arms and ammo up.
And how many more false flag events will there be between now and November? Or will the fireworks and chaos start the second the deeply corrupt SC announces their “decision” on R v W?
It’s going to be a difficult summer heading into fall all the way around…inflation, gun grabs, shortages of everything, more and more deaths from the clot-shots, China invading Taiwan, the WEF stepping up efforts on the economic takeovers, MS-13 et al taking over cities, massive unemployment, more food plant sabotages and arson, etc
There are many writing about what the future looks like…downright scary right now. Praying.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Wray has visited the Justices just to brief them on FBI’s national security assessment that overturning R v W will trigger mass insurrection, by the right wing!
Does anybody really believe that getting what we want from the SC will cause us to become violent???? Isn’t that absurd on it’s face!
No, but “getting what we want” WILL cause the brownshirt ‘activist’ lefty troops to stark, raving batsh*t CRAZY, and do their damndest to tear down the temple.
Yes like the one in Coeur d’Alene yesterday….a;ll the police were out in full force – full tack & gear but no long guns for the dangerous army of 31 white nationalists (supremecists-nazi’s) that showed up to do what? – who know bcz they were intercepted before they got anywhere (fortunately for the police they had an informant) ‘eye roll’
Showed us all they can take down an “white supremicist/nazi) small army without ANY GUNS-how about that!
There were 31 big White Guys jammed into a short UHAUL Truck that came from Texas. Did they stand shoulder to shoulder for 18 hours in 90° heat or did they load up the truck a few blocks away from the park?
that bust was in IDAHO not TX
The truck came from Texas.
Here at the very bottom is perhaps the only crazed neonazi.
The rest are obviously hired Antifa punks and thugs
along with a handful Ray Bans & khakis dudes.
So Sheldon Cooper found work?
Thank goodness!
Hey! FBI informants and stooges need to make a living, don’t they?
It is the one thing they can neither hide nor lie and say it is not happening. Furthermore it touches everybody, Democrat, Republican and Independent.
As long as the stock market stayed high, they could tell people that the growth was offsetting the inflation losses. Now that is moving negative with everything else. Kicker: The stock market losses hits the 1% where it hurts.
I also think they are really surprised that MMT did not work as planned and do not know what to do.
The dupes are surprised that MMT didn’t work. Just another work day for he that loves chaos over order, evil over good, wrong over right, and lies over truth.
The 1% got out of the market early this year. Only those still in are like Musk, nowhere to put the proceeds and if he pulled his shares from Tesla would hurt his company, his baby.
Modern Monetary Theory! Bwahahahaha!
The entire Congress is a bunch of worthless tools.
All they know how to do is waste time, and our money!
100% agree.
And tweet…
they know how to collect their filthy lucre…..all but a very select few are traitors to the nation now looking out for themselves and family over the nation and their constituents
Oh you mean that transitory not transitory Putin’s inflation inflation? Bwahaha. How stupid do they think we are?
On Zerohedge, El Erian has finally said what he was holding himself back from saying…
Inflation could have been avoided if the Fed had acted earlier.
Economics 101
But the Fed wanted inflation, stoked inflation, reveled in inflation. It meant the eye watering US debt, which they encouraged with printing… and printing and printing… could be diminished, while enriching their friends. Keynesians at their very best.
Washington DC concerned about inflation? I seriously doubt it.
The FED is stuck and can’t do anything. The difference between 80s and now is the total debt. In the 80s, the debt was “manageable” and high interest rates (high CD rates could be handled. The current annual debt service at 0.5% or so is $500B per year. Increase FED rate to even 2-4%, and debt service balloons to $2-3T…….most of the annual “budget”.
It is stuck. On Wednesday at 2 pm, we’ll learn which of Hobson’s choices will be made.
What a great analogy! And I love the movie as well.
It was good.
The Fed, full to overflowing with academics with no experience of the consequences of their lunatic policies, is in a bubble within a bubble, Washington DC. They open their Keynesian based books, lick their fingers and turn the pages one after another, which tell them there is no way they could possibly be wrong. And on they have marched in blissful delusion, secure in their own hubris.
Oh for a clone of Milton Friedman…is there such a person today who is an aficionado of his economic policies? If there is I’m not seeing it.
Maybe El Erian could be if be was unleashed and not subject to banishment?
He might, but I’m not sensing any intestinal fortitude or conviction. It’s as if he peeped outside at the undeniable disaster and told himself it was all right to come out now. No one can refute what he said with looking like a complete ignorant wally.
You know what is said about a sinner who repenteth. Faced with the utter real world repudiation of all things Keynesian, perhaps he (and other believers) will reassess and abandon the inky black dark side. Stranger things have happened.
Still, no breath holding in this house.
We sure don’t need Friedman. We need a Ludwig Bob Mises, a Friedrich Hayek, a Murray Rothbard, or a Bastiat. Nothing else will work but Austrian economics.
The Fed printing or not cannot remedy supply shortages. A good part of this inflation is the decrease in the oil/gas supply. The Fed has no influence on that.
<Washington DC concerned about inflation? I seriously doubt it.>
Only the balloon sellers 🙂
I’m sure somewhere amongst those ballon sellers, there stands a guy selling boxes of very sharp pins, WORDMAN. Good one, sir.
I’m no expert but I don’t see how the Fed monetary demand focus could / can overcome the hydrocarbon supply-driven inflation.
It’s not like a higher interest rate would affect oil related projects that are not allowed to happen anyway
Exactly! Raising interest rates doesn’t open up more leases for oil drilling?
And there you have it. It won’t. The beggars stew they’ve cooked up has no happy ending…just a massive case of indigestion. The housing market, already wobbling, will be a repeat of 2008. Already bankruptcies are creeping up. And we know what that means for those holding that debt.
Back into the sewer we go. Lessons from 2008-2009, if they were ever learned, have been long forgotten. And yes, there is a huge intentional element here.
Somewhere, someone (Soros) is making a pile of money from this economic devastation. Soros has bet heavily before on this sort of thing…and made out like a very rich evil bandit.
Soros likes to short sovereign currencies in preparation for downturns and then help to get legislation passed to cause that exact result
When the UK joined the precursor to the EU, the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (Norman Lamont, Chancellor), they were not meeting the requirements to remain in it. There ensued a battle truly royal between Lamont and Soros, which meant that interests rates kept rising and rising until they reached 21%. You can imagine what that did to mortgages. It was a matter of who blinked first.
At any rate, Lamont was forced in humiliation to take the UK out of the ERM when for one brief moment interest rates were sitting at 25%.
Soros bet they would withdraw and through his manipulation of foreign currencies was instrumental in seeing that it happened. . It was a disaster for the UK…not so much for Soros who became obscenely wealthier through his odious machinations.
(I was living there when it happened, and we watched in horror as day by day our mortgage payments went higher and higher. I’ll never forget it.)
We were too, Betsy, and we ended up having to sell.
Oh dadgum, Mims!! I’m so sorry. They played their little EU loving games and ruined a lot of people. We thought we’d have to as well, it was that terrifying. I am sorry. Truly.
Keynes did NOT support deficit spending in perpetuity…..in “good times” you were supposed to pay down your accumulated debt…..this philosophy does NOT work for the DC crowd however
El Erian is only explaining part of the problem.
As I said, no intestinal fortitude or conviction.
I watched the collapse of Venezuela. It was a practice round . We are the prize.
The political class will collapse. I don’t know about you but I have no intention of collapsing. I can do without better than they can, having had so much practice, and our turn is coming. If we can stick together we will win in the end.
BOY do I agree with you! Imagine Schiff, Graham, Pelosi et. al chopping wood or growing vegetables. The spouse and I can do most basic stuff and we have skills to trade for what we cannot do. If I was the elite, I would be EXTREMELY worried–they may throw a wrench in arming the new would-be gun owners, but there are over 500 million other reasons why they should be very uneasy. Like my Grandad said when we were fishing on the Great Lakes-“there’s a storm brewin’, best fire up the engine and get back”-
I think you nailed it. The Political class will collapse, but I think it will be because they will be hunted down like wild dogs.
When is the first exact month that year over year inflation is “supposed” to be significantly “lower” (for optics)? Prices still high and never going down, but “inflation” YOY rate is lower. So, if it’s not and continues at a significant upward pace we know we are in this for a long time.
Is it this month or next month?
Good question for SunDance or one of our financial guys here?
I seriously doubt anyone has any clue at this point
I believe that SunDance said July would be the new base period.
they are predicting wage gains will not overcome inflation until 2024 so that means predicted high inflation till at least then
Congress needs to have hearings not just on inflation but on how “Born in Kenya” Obama and usurper Biden are trying to turn the US into a sh!thole country. (And President Trump states that he did not say that word.) Don’t expect Congress to do anything until after the November election, and maybe not even then.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/03/biden-obama-attempting-make-america-third-world-country/
Congress is now and will in November, circle the wagons. They are looking out for their own bottom lines and to avoid losing their heads. The gun control push is evidence that they fear the masses and rightly so.
Gas prices: it could be worse, you could be in Canada.
Yes, while we are gasoline self secure here, it cost me $2.44 a LITRE (for 94 Octane) to fill up this morning. There are about 4 litres to a US gallon so that works out to about $10 a gallon CAD or likely over $7 USD. $122 to fill up.
Pretty sure Putin doesn’t have anything to do with it.
Canada’s gas has always been high.
Canada has tons of gas – mostly methane emanating from Ottawa.
What happened to the Keystone Pipeline lawsuit? It was already approved!
as we gaze over the lovely tar sands of Alberta…..
those national taxes on gas in Canada and EU sure do put the WHAMMY into the effect on consumers
Here’s the chart I just showed on Bannon’s War Room — Inflation for the essentials: Utilities, Food at Home, and Gasoline, rising at 25% pace!
Crushing for middle and lower income citizens.
That is a quote from Steve Cortes.
The accompanying chart starts to tell the truth.
1980 will be a signpost on the road to the Twilight Zone.
https://gettr.com/post/p1dx9jh2d26
Love that picture. So perfect. They could easily get involved to make a real difference…but won’t… because more concerning to them is avoiding their actual responsibility for the matter.
The cartoon is a daily reality in Boston and occurs thousands of times day.
Anyone who has taken the Green Line to the Museum of Fine Arts will know what I am referring to.
I have not, but I get the “picture”.
The White House must think Americans are stupid.
Day one, Somebody signed an Executive Order curtailing as much as could be curtailed, oil production in America?
Somebody appointed two Progressive Wackos to the Energy and Interior Departments?
Perhaps, somebody can now explain why he’s asking Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to export more oil, when every American remembers we exported oil and natural gas from 2017-2020 and gas was less than $2.60 a gallon.
Somebody needs to explain his timeline for installed electric charging stations everywhere and when enough electric vehicles will be available immediately for Americans?
If he can’t answer those questions, then why the hell did he restrict oil the first day of office?
The globalists want us to stay home, starve and freeze in place.
All because the enlighten ones did not like Trump. They could no longer slow kill us off. That is alright. because we will retain or sovereignty either by voting ( which I doubt is possible) or by force. Force it is!
I imagine about 3/4 of this country would trade a barrage of mean tweets for $2 gas–if not yet, soon-
Must appear to be concerned for the little people.
I have commented on this once before (at lent this year) and now I do it again because that caricature above is one that I have seen several times before so here I go again: if at all possible, YOU SHOULD CREDIT THE ARTIST.
This is not a small thing, time and again you show artwork with NO mention of who made it, a conservative site should be better.
Name of artist is common courtesy, and what year it was made is a good bonus.
Even a person of limited imagination like me can easily see the myriad advantages of inflation to our budding, totalitarian, fascist State:
Wage and price controls. Never let a crisis go to waste?
The crisis of inflation justifies endless government interference in the nuts and bolts of economic activity.
What has changed, since Nixon’s frivolous mucking in the economy, is that the big corporations now realize that big government mostly benefits them.
Obama campaigned against lobbying, and lobbying skyrocketed under his administration.
The great revelation, the great epiphany since the New Deal, is that big government is good for big business.
This was Mussolini’s great insight, and no one has answered him.
Big government is run by big multinational business.
Big government is good for big business.
America will rise or fall on this truism.
And rationing will shortly come.
Guaranteed profit? Paradise for the corporation.
Turnips or broccoli for dinner? Rationing decides.
The world of the sale will soon become the world of Bigfoot.
Since administration officials have already thrown up their hands, shrugged their shoulders, and claimed there is nothing else they can do why exactly would Congress be holding hearings?
Would such hearings hold the administration responsible for deliberately melting down the economy? Or would such hearings become a promenade for the DC slatterns to strut across- pearls clutched, voices raised- pretending to know and care about the pain of the Voter?
“Kangaroo Court!”
So unbelievable
This is going to cost Americans both in blood and treasure
They are only circling the wagons because November is 4.5 months away. Pay no mind.
And Dominion voting machines are still in use.
Pay no mind?
It means they aren’t going to do squat except sit around and look like they are doing something…their concern is nothing but a dog and pony show. Yes, ignore it because their concern is fake.
The least of Washington’s concerns are anything to do with what American’s are concerned about. Both parties don’t care about us until it comes to votes. That is the only thing that interests them as far as we’re concerned.
Larry Summers has found a new culprit behind America’s inflation crisis: Republicans who downplay the severity of the January 2021 US Capitol riot.

Oh good another hearing on something. I can relax now.
From a post at Wall Street Silver :
It feels like I’m paying hose stimulus checks back in GAS.
For those of us whose businesses were damaged or destroyed, or who lost jobs temporarily or permanently, the stimulus and/or UI were usually partial, at best, offsets to those losses. So, if so, behind already, dipping into assets or debt to make up if either are available, then get hit with inflation too.
I stopped paying vehicle insurance. No need to insure something just sitting. That’s a month’s worth of food, that six month premium on a 36yo truck. I’d rather eat. Bicycle works fine if needing to go to the mom and pop in the nearby town for food.
Adapt and overcome. Economic warfare is another option. Hard to do it alone though. We need coordination.
Perhaps they should hold hearings to learn how to distinguish their arse from a hole in the ground.
This is why the fake insurrection hearings are so important. They convince people to wish that there really had been an insurrection on 1/6 and that it had been successful.
Just like covid theater, you’re not allowed to say this kind of stuff out loud, but EVERYONE is thinking some version of “Man, if only…”
Even if we were fortunate enough that all the remote workers where in D.C. when a neutron bomb took it out, that wouldn’t eliminate the threat, which is the multinational corporate and financial industries and their soldiers in the legal and judicial community. The politicians are nothing more than their puppets and there’s millions more out there just waiting to get in on the gravy train. Follow the money to find the evil. That’s where it lives.
Lucas shared an interesting link yesterday. If you didn’t catch it, it’s a worthwhile read and listen (videos included). If you subscribe to the manner of thinking in the article, the Fed has done all they were supposed to do.

I’m sure they will… and declare the USA in state of disaster…..so JoeBama can declare Martial Law….so they can take away more freedoms….so they can cancel the election…so they stay in power….INDEFINITELY!
PDJT showed just what a inept horse and pony show our DC gov’t is when he accomplished more FOR the American citizens in the 4 years than in the previous 30+ yrs –the difference is stark for those of us who have been paying attention! The current cabal is exposed for the evil grifters that they have always been but they are still pretending and think WE THE PEOPLE don’t see it! EXTREMELY maddening!!!
In my sometimes non-linear brain, this is relevant.
Earlier on the day of the Uvalde shooting I posted that Biden approval had begun freefall. Much like the stock market, it had broken through a resistance level at 40%.
The freefall has accelerated, and gun control issue hasn’t helped it like they thought it would. I currently expect an international incident before summer ends plunging us into active armed conflict. If this doesn’t seem to be helping, the war will be blamed for inflation. Look for rationing, price controls, additional gun controls, and limits on speech “to support the war effort and provide much needed relief to the American people”.
Maybe I’m paranoid. Or maybe I have learned pattern recognition.
Related: Note all the print and commentators on the need for a return to common-sense conservatives “like LIz Cheney”. Note that this helpful advice is being provided by both sides of the uniparty. They are terrified of what is happening.
You’re going to be very surprised when the markets start making new highs. Why do you think they are talking markets down? They need the Majority to be on the wrong side, that’s what creates the momentum.
Capital will flow into our country. Keep an eye on Europe.
I don’t understand. The European market is crashing too. And they need to get their natural gas from us or Russia. They’re up a creek worse than we are.
Europe is in serious trouble, investors look for safe havens to make money. Learn about the implementation of the Euro Dollar (1998), they wanted to create a dollar that would compete against the US Dollar but they never consolidated the other members debts. They don’t have a National debt, like we do.
If you understand credit ratings, each state in our Union after the founding of our country consolidated all the states debt but now, each state is graded on their credit worthiness just like us in our personal lives.
Europe is not like that, remember Greece in 2010? They needed a bail-out, then Portugal and so on. Every member in the EU is responsible for all the other members debts. Make sense?
Thats why you’ll see our markets rise after the bottom sets in.
70% of the economic engine of Europe is tourism…covid destroyed the economies there for 2 years…that’s why they all had a “change of heart” to lax all entries into Europe in January…they were dying. And of this amount…most came from the US.
With the US entering dire financial straits…tourism (not this year) but in subsequent years will be severely curtailed….compounding the problem.
I think it’s called the crack-up boom.
I think you’re right. Ukraine, abortion, gun control and Jan 6 are all falling flat for them. I’m not really tuned in to liberals right now, but it seems each one is garnering less and less interest/support. The only thing left for them to try is an attack on American soil. But it would pretty much have to be in the heartland to get any sort of united America. Some big incident in California, NY, or DC and too many Americans across the country would see it as God’s judgment on our once great nation. That’s how far we’ve fallen. It’s scary to think about but it seems like an attack on us is their only play left. Pray for our nation.
That illustration says it all.
I smell fear coming from the DC elites.
and sh*t.
Good.
I don’t…they feel they are entitled and have the media protecting their back. Invincible.
They won’t realize what hit them until November. But I don’t think it will be as big a wipeout as everyone thinks.
Everyone needs to stop complaining about high gas prices. They want you to go buy electric vehicles. You don’t think you can afford that? Can you afford $8 gasoline? That’s where we’re headed. So, make the greenies happy and buy an electric vehicle. Never mind, there is not enough electric power being produced to charge millions of said vehicles. Buy them anyway. Once you have them and can’t get electricity to charge them you will need to learn to walk to where you need to go. Don’t want to walk or can’t walk, that’s ok, take a bus. Oh, wait, if you don’t live in a large metropolitan area, there probably is no bus. The easy solution to that is just move to said large metropolitan area, problem solved. Once you arrive, you will find no housing you can afford. That too is ok because there are many sidewalks you can pitch a tent on with the rest of the homeless. Isn’t life in their communist utopia grand? Be careful how you answer, the thought police are everywhere and may decide to disappear you. No worries though, you’ll die green! Lucky you.
And they will be able to steal more and more taxpayers money
That’s why they want us cramped in to cities. Lockdowns and sheltering in place will take on new meanings.
“Hunter has really gone downhill”..
Do you have any idea how many unemployed AMERICAN CITIZENS we can put back to work if we hire them to round up and deport with prejudice all the ILLEGAL ALIENS in the United States.
I’ll make that a motion. Will anyone second it and move to vote?
deportation of the TENS of MILLIONS of illegals here would solve MANY problems…..it would cause a temporary downturn in the economy instantly removing so many consumers but would relax pressures on overcrowding everywhere, rents and home prices, availability of social support funding, budget SURPLUSES, a halt to the full balkanization of America, lowering of the crime rate and numbers of crimes committed and a return to the belief that laws SHOULD be enforced as written
The hearings will be the most dramatic we have seen yet.
I love my country.
I hate my government.
We’re being “governed” by people who hate us.
We need to change that. I do not have the answer.
But I’m trying to do what I can on a local level.
But I don’t really see a solution to this that is peaceful.
Sad to say.
All free Americans must explore within themselves to arrive at what reaction they will have when governments ‘jack-booted’ thugs come for them. How will YOU react when the black SUVs filled with battle-dressed public servants kick in your door? It is a troubling question…prepare your mind now, when they are already there, it is too late! FREEDOM…. WOLVERINES!!!!
I suffered through a few minutes of Hannity on the radio in the car and he is priming the audience for a coming food shortage. If he is finally parroting what Sundance has warned us about for many moons you know it’s going to get bad.
Fox is also priming everyone for massive power outages. It was all about the heat wave on this mornings show. Ainsley and Steve were so obvious.
Get ready.
We just saw jammed* “drive-through” lanes at several restaurants today, which again brought up a question plaguing us for several months now:
“When will $5.00 + per gallon gasoline start sending people into stores , coffee joints, and restaurants, rather than burning up the most expensive gasoline in American history while waiting 20 minutes in a drive-through lane?”
We have noticed a few more people -adults – on bicycles on busy streets. A few more…but will it be a trend?
So far, not many have changed this habit, from our observations!
* (i.e. over a dozen cars)
It will be awhile longer and take higher gas prices. 🙄
But, I have noticed people shutting their car off at red lights.
And a reminder to the lazy sitting in line in their cozy cars;
at that point even the most fuel-efficient vehicles made
are getting terrible gas mileage, as in zero miles/gallon.
Similar experience today; as I passed by a local McD this morning – the drive-thru line was so long it spilled out a couple of vehicles-worth in the roadway. This is a relatively new McD, with a very-long drive-thru lane wrapping around the building. Had to be 20/30 vehicles or more.
These observations, and your post, reflect on something that’s really been bugging me recently: How relatively “normal” everything seems in the world around me.
Long drive-thru lines thus “wasting” fuel.
The roads around here are chock-full of very-new-looking $60,000+ cars, SUV’s and pickup trucks.
The “sidewalk cafes” of local eateries are chock full.
New $400,000 homes in at least two subdivisions are being built – one of them just starting up (so therefore, not a “victim” of having gotten underway before the SHTF). This in an area where $250,000 homes are pretty nice (well, per the “standards” in I grew up).
Like yourself, my observation is the same: “So far, not many have changed this habit, from our observations!”
It honestly has been befuddling me.
Many thanks to you and the others for the comments!
“It honestly has been befuddling me.”
I suspect that it may be the cliche’ “Old Habits Die Hard” at work.
And the new McDonald’s stores are obviously built with drive-through “service” as the primary way of selling their wares. We have been in some where the staff has been told NOT to take your order, but to force you to a “kiosk” to order via their computer. Then you are placed somewhere among those driving through to wait for your order.
The pop machines are disappearing as well, to prevent you from getting a refill.
So far, this technique is being partially followed – at least in Ohio – at Wendy’s. and a few other places. Burger King seems to be holding the line.
Anyway, if McDonald’s wants to live by drive-through business, it might end up dying thereby, when $6.00 or $10.00 per gallon gasoline arrives.
Credit is still available. When it gets shut off, all that will stop
Wait til their credit card bills come!
Classic. The cartoon speaks volumes.
You NEED to watch this. Get your food in NOW. Costco/Walmart etc food limits coming this week. China closes Smithfield!
This runaway inflation is designed to crush the rest of Main Street that wasn’t decimated by the Plandemic.
Should have been “concerned” when they stole the election from the Real President, Donald J. Trump with his record breaking improvements to every area of our country, & illegitimately placed the crime syndicate in the People’s House.
Joe is the front for the destruction of this great nation and her people.
Well, why didn’t you say so earlier? If they form a committee, that should take care of the problem. We can now go back to our regularly scheduled programming, lol.
Regularly scheduled MKULTRA programming
Get ready for price controls. We are so screwed…
And food and fuel rationing.
Biden <<Carter.
