The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the County Employment and Wages Summary Wednesday [DATA HERE]. The economic tracking measures the employment and wage increases at a county level throughout 343 counties in the nation.
The BLS measures the data on an annual basis from December 2020 through December 2021. The average rate of wage growth at a county level was 5.9%, far lower than the measured 8.5% inflation rate. That means real wages, the income of most Americans at the county level have dropped.
However, within the data Florida stands out as having the largest number of counties exceeding the national average. 23 Florida counties are included in the BLS tracking. An incredible 21 out of 23 Florida counties have wage growth that far exceeds the national average. [BLS, Table-1]
Additionally, Florida holds the top spot for the highest annual rate of wage growth in Palm Beach County with 15.6%…. AND… Florida holds the top spot for the highest annual rate of wage growth amid the ten largest counties, with Miami-Dade wage gains of 11.1%. [BLS, Table-2]
Congratulations Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida workers. You have the rare distinction of having wage growth overall that exceeds the BLS measured level of Biden inflation. It’s no wonder why so many people are heading to Florida for jobs.
FREEDOM. If you keep it, they will come.
Yay for my state, and my Gov – America’s Governor!!! FJB!!!
PS: my county (Lee) is up there too!
PPS: GA voters, stay away from our fair state~
Reminder:
It’s not the voters. It really is DeSantis because:
-Jeb Bush was here
-Chris Christie was here
-Marco Rubio IS here
DeSantis stands alone when it comes to a GOP politician keeping faith with the voters who elected him. DeSantis doesn’t stand in comparison to other GOP politicians. He stands in contrast to them.
Note that it is easy for DeSantis to engage against the media because he is acting sincerely on behalf of his constituents. This makes it easy to distinguish against RINOs whose “timid” responses are due to the fact they don’t believe or want conservative policies.
Until the Gover-nator, our RINOs were the laughing stock of the GOP. The mal-Administrations of Jeb and Crist failed to close the “Pill Mill” Loophole in Florida law that allowed shady broke “Doctors” to come out of retirement and write ‘scripts for opiate medications and dispense the drugs from the same location spawning the Opium War we find ourselves in the middle of. The day Rick Scott invoked the prescription drug Database and the spigot of pills turned off, the Cartels had 5 dollar bags of “China White” heroin cut with minute amounts of fentanyl in every community in Florida to fill the gap.
Yes, we WERE a disgrace a few years ago. God was certainly watching out for us in 2018.
Please forgive the enthusiasm about my state and Gov.
After Flo-ri-duh! 2000, it’s just sooo great to feel like we are #1, that we don’t want locusts to ruin what we have here, that we who voted for Gov DeSantis played a tiny role in placing this good man in the position to MFGA, and that many of us hope he can do the same for America some day. I’m so very proud.
Hope the country is watching . . . and wanting such a leader.
The hanging chads gave us electronic vote tabulators. I thank the Lord that Laurel Lee got her walking papers, not a minute too soon.
OMG, yes. I’m so glad she’s gone. She struck me as trouble with a capital T
Who is the SoS now? I tried to call her office to voice concerns about vote fraud in early 2018, and got a lackluster response, that her office was pri arily concerned with the list of corporations, and wasn’t very interested in vote matters.
This was after I had poll watched several years. Very disappointed. And I was in Palm Beach County with the witch Susan Bucher. She didn’t even need a car to get around, her broom did just fine.
I live in Texas and I want such a leader. The GOP just don’t get it.
Try living in CA, lol. I have to move, I can’t let my future grandchildren grow up here. I knew Newsom was going to be bad, but I had no idea anyone could be so evil. And our awful legislature.
I don’t see how you stand it.
Governor Abbott could do more to shut our border down and stop the illegals crossing. I get so frustrated just thinking about it.
I voted for Trump in 2016. I liked him from day one because he was running on immigration. He did do a lot to slow the illegals from coming across.
It sickens me to see our country turning into a third world country.
God Bless You.
As Governor Desantis learned when he went to what used to be the Border about a year ago, roughly 70% of trafficked people are headed to Florida. I will bet a lion’s share of hard dope accompanies them.
This is what I don’t understand, conservatives go gung ho all about conservative ideas, then either never accomplish anything or never get elected, as republicans or independents.
Why don’t they run as Democrats, just as conservative? Democrats just want to take credit for the idea they know nothing as far as logic, or policies. They put Biden and Kamala in the White House. Ron Johnson?? James Brown?? If it has a D by it they don’t care.
This “war” reminds me of the British marching while minutemen pick us off.
Thing is, it’s us against them and we just don’t get it. They are the smiling face that cuts to the front of the line then closes the door behind them. All checks and balances have been corrupted, It all resides in money, greed.
The lawless get privilege, while the enforcement of those laws instigate for their own gain. It will collapse, their hope is we will prop it all up for our own safety and gains.
I sincerely hope you can keep it the way it is now. Don’t let the Democrats or any Rinos in the front doors. One can’t sit back and think you are now on easy street. It will be a constant fight to keep and improve upon what you have. God bless Florida, Governor DeSantis and the people who stand with him.
They can want all they want but… hands off! Grow your own!
I am so happy with Governor DeSantis and my Rep, Greg Stuebe (17th district). DeSantis is the best Governor I’ve ever experienced. I’m okay with Rick Scott and Rubio. I’m glad my husband and I left the blue state of Michigan in 2013. We love the freedom here.
Rubio is mediocre at best, and he’s a whore. Because he is so mediocre, he knows he can never really make it in the private sector (like most politicians), he will whore himself out to McConnell for anything. He stole donations from me by double-charging two of my CC accounts in 2010, and it took me SIXTEEN CALLS TO HIS OFFICE, and one to the FEC, to get his campaign to stop. AND HE NEVER REFUNDED TO MONEY HE HAD TAKEN ILLEGITIMATELY.
Scott is a big disappointment. He promised not to “put his thumb on the scale” in the primaries, as head of the RSNC, by giving money to incumbents in the primaries, he voted for the $40B to Ukraine, and he wants to be McConnell replacement. Not trustworthy.
But better than where you came from, for sure! Just don’t be fooled. FL deserves better.
Rubio is a member of the gang of 8 now, and fully corrupt. I think he only votes conservatively on the issues that would get him thrown out by Hispanics. Scott did some illegal stuff with health care with a hospital in Florida a while back. I don’t trust either of them. Sometimes they surprise me. Florida has more than its fair share of military bases, they and the space program are major employers as is Disney. I am not surprised that Florida’s senators voted for funding the Ukraine war. I am NOT happy about it. The four star generals do NOT deserve new toys, while they are not stopping the invasion on our southern border and they failed to stop the coup d’état in January (causing the starving of American babies). I have read about military oaths regarding enemies within, but, it seems only non officer service members are aware of them. (sarc) Generally, I am pro-military because one grandfather fought in WW1, my dad in WW2 and Korea, my sister did a stent in the NAVY and her husband was a Marine. But, after G Bush the younger attacked a sovereign nation without provocation I was furious because my software flew in the second Iraq war. They did not ask me.
Praying that soon Arizona will have a governor of the same caliber…..
If Kari Lake can have the success Gov DeSantis has, I’d love to see them run together for POTUS and VPOTUS.
1,000 LEGAL up votes for DeSantis, Lake, and you.
No way. DeSantis is far more effective in Florida than he would be in DC. Freedom will be regained in the states, not Washington DC.
I agree, the Washington machine would hamper him at every turn as they did Trump.
Unlike Trump, he does not personally know his way around the Washingtonians. I do think he should be President eventually, but, the battle must be won in the states first. Florida’s GOP Senatorial representation is NOT MAGA. That needs to change.
Well said
One of President Trumps greatest accomplishments was ending the political careers of the entire Bush family!
Does anyone, I mean ANYONE, miss low energy Jeb?
Low energy JEB. I refer to him as Jebra.
No.
I lived in Cobb county Ga for 17 yrs struggled to make a living in fulton county been in lee county last 5yrs – LOVE SW FLa (got married here 28 yrs ago) – I honestly believe the people in Ga are more conservative than Fla – the DIFFERENCE is purely Leadership of Greatest Governor in last 50 yrs – Ron Desantis. Ga has had a Rino and Rino state gov since Olympic sellout in 1996- That’s when the Globalist took over ATL and now they are trying to conquer state .
That is so true.
Gosh, Cobb County was lovely 30 years ago. Locusts/wine moms took over suburbia, and yes the globalists took over Atlanta. Used to love to visit there.
Praying Tank Abrams doesn’t win – don’t think she will IF MAGA comes out in droves, but dear Lord . . .
She is one really scary person…Truly deluded, vindictive, and lusting for power, which she is entirely unworthy to weird.
What is there to cheer about? Florida is now giving more money to the Federal Government because of higher wages. Sounds like a horrible plan when your success funds the enemy. But hey, you guys go ahead and celebrate. There is a war in Ukraine that needs funding.
Face Palm.
I bet those dollars are sour too.
So you prefer them to be vagrants? Got it. Great plan, face palm. If that is your real name.
Florida should separate from the USA so they can implement their own immigration plan and not be a part of the USA endless immigration plan.
Sure that shouldn’t take more than a strongly written letter from Ron to joe. Surprised nobody thought of this before!
Actually Ron is doing very well as things are… been here since 1962…could not name one who did it better ..your sour grapes should look for another place..🥲..
🇺🇸💪🤣👍
Nullification is already happening. Next step is secession v 2.0
I hate to say it, but, it may come to that. Either the woke need to recognize the error of their policies that we are living through under Biden, or we need to separate.
Huh?
We’ve given our employees 2 raises since January (Lee County) and still can’t find enough folks willing to work. Wow.
Yes, we have had trouble finding people for our firm too.
Wow, didn’t realize so many people living in Lee County are on this blog. I’m starting to feel at home!
Who here likes Byron Donalds, btw?
I’m not sure what to think about him yet, ofc I’m pretty distrusting of the GOP as a whole these days. While Byron has talked maga, he’s pretty new so guess I’m waiting to see what happens.
What are your thoughts?
p.s. – Great to see all the Lee County peeps are also treepers.
Wife & I made Cape Coral our home 12 yr’s ago Marybeth. Unfortunately, becoming overgrown now
BTW Proud to have voted for Byron & Ron D
Enjoy the sunshine
Yes Lee county is booming with construction. I’m worried about the lack of infrastructure for all this growth. Some communities are complaining about low water pressure.
Wait until people start complaining about sinkholes!
I share the same concern, I came from an area that has constant construction and massive growth for 30+ years (Northern Virginia), way too many people now and constant ‘rush hour-like’ traffic.
SWFL is experiencing huge influx of new residents, IMO it’s happening too fast and the infrastructure will suffer with the increased traffic.
We bought in Nassau Co FL in 2019 and Marion County FL in 2021..both booming.
Agree Marybeth! Nice to see another Treeper representing Lee county. 😉
If the idiots in charge would fix the supply chain we would blow the roof off economically. So many construction sights and developments are paused down here because they simply can’t get materials. Pinellas County.
That is the scary part. We barely got DeSantis elected. What the Dems had in store for us was found naked, puking in a hotel room with a male prostitute. God blessed the whole state with Ron.
Florida must not have any Federal Employees, right?
Actually, the VA Regional Offices of the VA hospitals have federal employees; also, most of the non-medical personnel are federal employees. I know this because my husband retired after 29 years at the Bay Pines VA hospital – he was non-medical.
The fed employees don’t seem to realize that they have no responsibility to the retired people (or anyone else) who retired after Covid hit , and that now it is Monkey Pox. One of my sons retired and sent in his SS papers back last November…..they said they would call him today (again) and he waited 4 hours and spent another hour on hold to be told, ‘we don’t have any paperwork under your name.’ Offices here where we live are still closed, including court offices. I don’t understand what the big deal is still. How can they shut down offices that haven’t even been reopened for over two years. Said they’d make another appointment 6 weeks away. Some Federal Government we have right? Wish he had been in FL instead. At least you folks are a recognized state, we in Alaska are just ignored.
It’s not just you – in CA it’s insanity also with the government offices closed STILL. It was hard enough to deal with the DMV pre-covid, now it’s circus world. And the employees are Bad Attitude Plus.
California’s DMV has been bad news since the 1970s. I can’t imagine covid making it all that much worse.
WHY? … Because they’re lazy, entitled, stupid, ad nauseum. When I was an executive, I would never hire an ex-govt employee. Of course, I would never say that their non-hiring was because of that, but I wouldn’t hire them. Useless.
US District Court for the Northern District , Middle District, Southern District, 21 military bases including MacDill AFB, Jacksonville Naval Base, Pensacola Navy Base, USCG, Miami, Clearwater and St. Pete, Fl, Federal Bureaua in Clearwater, Fl US social Security Offices in every major city, EEOC administration, Miami with satellites offices in Fl, major cities, US Customs in Miami, veteran’s hospitals in ornear Fl cities with military bases.
You beat me to the DoD bases, I added a link for folks to see.
Florida deserves to be recognized. Just to answer the question …
There are 21 DoD Bases in Florida.
https://militarybases.com/florida/
Then there is the massive retirement population to consider.
No but they gots New Yorkers…
Watch out for the so-called “regional councils”of unelected government officials the Leftists are subversively trying to install across the country. Blackstone and other oligarch entities recently made a move to involve Tennessee and adjacent states in some quasi-government commission to sit as a bureaucracy, regulating governance in that part of the country. Not sure of how far they have moved on this right now, but it’s an ominous sign of new and ever more invasive stealth strategies to take over the country. Certainly it’s purpose is to nullify the states’ rights/sovereignty that would prevent independent resistance like that which we are seeing in Florida.
Exactly right … Bottom line, the goal was to move the true centers of power and decision-making further and further away from The People…US. FEDERALIZE EVERYTHING, ESPECIALLY elections, education, heqlth care, and policing. Move it all to DC.
Strip the states of their dominion & sovereignty. Usually, the Feds do it by surreptitious means, but they are moving up the pace, because the time in near. They don’t have to hide it anymore. Too many people are waking up, and they believe that no one can withstand them.
We are at a very perilous stage.
Ron DeSantis figured it out long ago: MFGA is the path to MAGA. And, conversely, MAGA is the path to make each state great again.
Every governor who doesn’t realize this and take immediate steps to Make ____(his/her state) Great Again is simply trying to BS their constituents.
B-I-N-G-O!!! The Governments in the other Red States are ignoring this because they are GOPe. Beholden to the lobbyists, and not to their constituents. Thak Gov DeSantis for making it clear to them.
Yes. Is getting elected really about campaign war chests anymore? Do people vote for X candidate because they saturated their neighborhood with pamphleteers?
REPUBLICANS! You do not need the favor of lobbyists. If you’re something the people want, we’ll find out via blogs and social media. Stick your campaign commercials on YouTube–we’ll watch them. Tell the lobbyists to shove it. The people will vote for you.
Update: Mike Bloomberg confirms
DeSantis will tell you that he sent templates for his plans for Covid to many other Republican Governors and none of them did any of it.
What a testimony, this flies right straight in the face of our Empire of Thieves and that small minority of cheerleaders they have.
30% of them consisting of the accumulative brain dead
Love My Governor, Ron DeSantis
Making Florida Great Again
FL will be getting another CA ex-pat soon!
We’re escaping the iron curtain in Sept. ’22!
Will be changing license plates before coming.
Deep into research on FL properties here, too. Looking to leave Kommiefornia by end of summer. What part of the state of FL are you heading to?
Pretty well decided on a small suburb west of Tampa, but option for St. Augustine still open.
Have looked in the same area. Dunedin looks great.
It is for now.
Ssssshhhhh!!!!
DeSantis lived in Dunedin for quite a while. I think he played Little League there and graduated from Dunedin HS.
I just read that this week. He was on a Dunedin Little League team which went to the Little League World Series.
Live just north of St Augustine in Ponte Vedra Beach, Friends from Tampa and San diego just left and told me I live in paradise. It really is’nt but they like it much better because the beach here is still natural with dunes and natural foilage, it is wonderful. I am battling with the deer because they are eating everything in my garden. My backyard is on the salt water marsh and protected wetlands. I grew up in Ft Lauderdale so my preference has always been to live near the Atlantic Ocean.
My kids live in area called Nocatee, its a little bit west of me but it has beautiful trails and the schools are some of the best in state. St Johns county is getting pricey but is still cheaper than California. Many of their neighbors are Cali transplants
Hang Irish Spring Soap near your garden.
Beautiful area!
My favorite parts of FL: my home in SW FL, the NE coast between Jax & St Aug, the Treasure Coast, and the Panhandle.
Nocatee by Arcadia? Haven’t been there in years, but it was always small and cute, like a bit of old Florida.
Many years ago my mother-and-father in law had a custom rocking chair made for my son by a toymaker there. So well made! Still have it.
I lived in Pompano Beach for 10 years. And also Longwood for 1 year.
I can’t believe what apartments rent for these days. The rent in Florida is astronomical. If it weren’t for that I would move back to Florida in three seconds flat. Just not back to South Florida.
Ponte Vedra is beautiful!!!!
St Augustine is beautiful..St John’s County..we bought on Amelia Island, Nassau County in 2019..last year we randomly picked Ocala FL, Marion County due to it’s affordability and central location..so far so good..paid 393000 in Nassau Co..it’s now worth 700000..Paid 245000 in Ocala Fl..it’s now worth 319000..
If you don’t depend on a ‘got to show up job’ take a look at gloriously natural Glades County. Florida as it used to be and there is nothing else like Lake Okeechobee. Moore Haven or Lakeport are both pretty much liberal free zones.
Congrats Tony!
Good idea about the plate change!
Don’t California My Florida, Bro.
The people (like me) leaving CA have not, do not, and will not vote for liberal policies. It’s one of the main reasons we are leaving liberal CA in search of freedom.
Yup!
I know. I have met several Refugees who have resettled here.
Cheer up! What you were paying in state income tax in California will just about cover your mortgage in Florida (2 years ago, it would!)
Yes, CA taxes are insane.
This is true – we are MAGA enough to pack up everything and go. That’s sure not easy, leaving family and friends behind. In most cases, you are getting hard core conservatives. We tried to stay and fight, but then the “recall” happened and now no one serious is even running against Newsom. Not one ad, no yard signs, nothing.
Get registered to vote here ASAP!
I hear you Elizabeth, I had to leave the area where I was born and raised. Family and friends changed a lot during the Obama election and then again after Trumps election. In 2017 I packed up and moved to Florida, no regrets, wish I had done it many years sooner.
I would imagine most everybody here on CTH talking about leaving their home state and coming to Florida would be a Maga-type conservative.
Please pack up, move down here, get registered and vote this November for Ron DeSantis. It was reported last year (IIRC) that Florida now has more Republicans registered to vote than Democrats, please move down and add to that total.
We say this a lot here – that and Don’t New York My Florida.
Most of them go to the 3 southeast crazy counties anyway.
Pinellas County is full. Please head to Hillsboro, Miami Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County. Commiefornia exodus, combined with an influx of Maskholes and flight from Jersey/NYC has caused rents in my area to skyrocket as well as grocery and gas prices to go insane. The cost of living here is completely out of whack. My rent alone went from $1600/month to $2375 overnight.
Yep. The price increases are just like it was in the Denver Metro at the height of the Green Rush in many areas. IMHO people heed to fix their own States.
It’s rigged. We tried. We worked our butts off. 40% of Democrats signed the CA recall and Newsom ends up defeating it by the exact same 61.9% as he won in 2018. Makes as much sense as Kemp and Raffensberger winning in Georgia.
Your rents are skyrocketing because of Joe, not new neighbors….
Just in time to vote for DeSantis!
DeSantis is my Governor and is doing an outstanding job!…..I don’t want anymore more people to move here…..Fix your own problems from the States you’re fleeing….Seriously, You think DeSantis allows Fake O’ Rourke get away with that staged stunt?? Not a chance…..
There’s no freaking way DeSantis lets Robert Francis O’Rourke get away with the BS nonsense coming out of his piehole on a regular basis
I see you live close to me from your first post….We live 2 miles from the Sanibel Causeway…..We have a special place in Lee County..75% Red……I don’t want any Liberal, Democrat Locust to move here….
I am your neighbor. I live off of McGregor between John Morris and Kelly Rd.
OMG, ya’ll live pretty close to each other. You should meet up sometime!
I’ve been in SW FL since 1968 – yeah, old! Went to St Francis and Bishop Verot HS.
Currently live on the Cape and love it. Home values are skyrocketing . . .
We’re in Lehigh Acres just outside of Ft.Myers. Been here since 1972.
Oh my goodness! Lee Countians (is that a word?) are HUGE here at the Treehouse!
I will thank the residents of Lee and Collier Counties in advance when they put down their phones and watch for Florida Panthers whilst driving at night.
Near where that tornado hit this past winter? I’m about a mile from there as the crow flies.
Directly across the street. Coconut Creek. I have you awning and trashcan. And pieces of your neighbors awning as well. 😁
😅
Me too, live off of Orange Grove Blvd., not far from Viscaya / Del Prado.
I’m living on Pine Island (90% Red?) and am a transplanted, 3rd generation Californian. Moved 20 years ago when handwriting on wall. And no, those white rocks around the house are not range markers :), they’re lawn art….
Oh, yeah, Pine Island is blood red!
Very nice Jimmy! I’m in North Fort Myers, going to be taking my 78 year old mother out to Bokeelia soon (just to get of the house) to see the Pier and hopefully that little shack of restaurant is still there.
I did not see you post as i banged mine out.
I hear you, james, although I am from a northern New England State (hoping and praying the tide turns here). People in the Blue States and with Governors who have no regard for their constituents, need to hold them accountable. Hold their feet to the fire.
Good job Governor DeSantis.
The best move of my life, moving from Maskachusetts last year to relocate to SW Florida. This conservative feels much more at home in free Florida.
People always forget SW Florida is in South Florida – but on the sane coast . . . at least sane relative to the SE Crazy counties.
SW FL (Collier, Lee, & Charlotte) are becoming a conservative powerhouse in the state.
Ever been to the Nature Coast?
I have lived in this state (Assachusetts) my whole life. I have been a staunch conservative since I was 7! My proof- I wrote LBJ a letter at that age to complain about my Dads taxes going way up! The White House wrote back (LBJ autopen). I still have the letter! I’d move to FLA in a Boston minute if my kids and precious grand dweebs would move also. I love the little ones so much it would kill me to not see them as often. You have a GREAT GOVENER in Ron Desantis.
Spelling not my strong suit. LOL
No worries. Mass has some beautiful scenery and the American history there is INCREDIBLE. I’m an amateur genealogist so love going there, but the biggest reasons to visit are my 3 grandsons in N Reading.
Many of your state’s residents are truly a study in contrasts, though.
Some mighty fine and intelligent people – like my daughter and son-in-law – whose politics are truly whacky left!
All you Floridians are blessed to have this governor and I’m hoping he’ll become POTUS one day!
Don’t come to Florida.
We’re going to have a hard enough time building a wall along the Georgia line.
And, around Tampa and Orlando.
I escaped O’D-lando eight years ago.
After the voting results from GA last night, I tend to agree with you!
Please, no Gov Tank Abrams on our border *shudders”
Stud…
Pro Tips for New Floridians:
Don’t Laugh at the Natives
We don’t care how y’all did whatever “back home”
Learn to Drive
Learn to Vote
Do Not skimp on Sinkhole Insurance
Get rid of St Augustine grass and opt for Pensacola Bahia unless you like paying lawn spraying companies for nothing
So true–we don’t care how y’all did whatever “back home”.
One of my pet peeves about people who move from one region to another.
Exactly We don’t care how things were done up North. We assume that’s why you’re here in the first place.
Or to paraphrase Sheriff Grady Judd: “Welcome to Florida. Just don’t come here and vote the STUPID way you did up North, or you’ll get more of what you left.”
Sheriff Judd is awesome.
Q: Why did one of your Sheriff’s Deputies shoot the guy 15 times ?
A: Sheriff Judd: Because he ran out of bullets.
Sweet, sweet FloriDA!
Florida is WINNING! So happy for all of you there.
The nation needs this good news.
The other 49 States need to emulate the Great Governor of FL.
Florida, PLEASE secede from America, just to show the terrified, hypnotized, lockstep sheeple, that it’s possible to survive and thrive without Washington, D.istrict of C.riminals. Start apprenticeships for young people and build factories. I’ll buy “Made In Florida” if you do. If I could stand your weather, I’d come running.
Remember when the media was slamming DeSantis daily for opening up after COVID?
At what point do other Republican governors start taking lessons?
They already got their lessons from the WEF.
It still doesn’t help much if the consumer inflation runs northward of 17%
That is if you count it using the governments own calculation method before they figured it would make them look bad.

“End the Fed.” ~ Ron Paul
It appears that FL has some excellent constitutional state reps too!
I sure do hope DeSantis has enough on the ball to remain a governor and stays away from the Oval. U.S. Presidents are now short-circuited and bamboozled by the bureaucratic managerial establishment who want nothing but nothing about their gravy train to change.
The way to derail the sick federal gravy train is for 40 more governors like DeSantis to cut the federal arteries at the state level. DeSantis oughta organize his own brand of a Governor’s Association and spread the love that he has been spreading in Florida. If DeSantis runs for President, Florida will be a hellhole in 18 months or less. Guaranteed. https://www.takimag.com/article/the-governor-principle/
On this day in 1787, the new country described in the Declaration as “these united States” (lower-case “u”), was commandeered and usurped by the European bankster mafia in a coup-d’etat:
“On May 25th, 1787, a group of 55 men gathered for a closed meeting in Philadelphia. Officially, it was being convened to discuss alterations to the then constitution of the United States of America: the Articles of Confederation. Some state legislatures had authorized their representatives to attend the meeting only on this basis, explicitly prohibiting them from considering a new constitution. To make certain that the general public did not find out about the nature of this conspiracy, the convention members swore an oath not to discuss any proceedings with the public…for the rest of their lives. The only first-hand accounts of the proceedings were published several years later after the death of the last survivor, James Madison, in 1836. The press was forbidden to attend. The meetings were held on the second floor of the building, so that would-be eavesdroppers could not hear anything. The new constitution would become the law of the land whenever nine state conventions ratified it. This was in explicit violation of the Articles, which required a unanimous vote for amendments. Thus did a group of men launch a coup-d’etat. This coup established a new national covenant in 1788, a covenant stripped of the Articles’ invocation of God, “The Great Governor of the World,” with only the old country’s name transferred for public relations’ sake: the United States of America. Today, we would call this a trademark violation. But it worked.”

TAKE IT BACK, FLORIDA! Show the rest how.
Yep, one of my ancestors signed the Articles of Confederation (even helped fund it), did not sign the Declaration of Independence. I don’t know if that was just because he had to tend to his own affairs due to an illness (I can’t remember if it was himself or his wife) or if he just disagreed with it. I have to read more of the book…lol
Someone needs to start paying deeper attention to the people DeSantis surrounds himself with, and the people who support his success. He is not a one man army, it is my hope that some of the people he brings up with him will support generations of conservatives.
Starting to wonder if Sundance is coming around to DeSantis? I remember him previously saying that DeSantis was backed by the same people who backed Lyin’ Ted, and that while his policies were sound, he had no concept of the greater macro-economic battles that Trump was trying to fight.
Sundance (@TheLastRefuge2) tweet 5/24/22:
Without independent wealth, if DeSantis steps into the arena of national politics, his policies and platform will abide by Club rules and donor needs.
It really is that simple.
I like him a lot, but I like ‘America-First’ more.
I think Sundance is on target on this. DeSantis maintains ties to others in the GOP in a way that Trump did not have to. If MAGA takes over the party fully in the midterms and 2024, this may be a moot point.
I don’t know if this is true, but Lou Dobbs asked Trump today on his podcast The Great America Show if the rumors were true that DeSantis was going to announce his bid for 2024 before Trump. Trump sounded truly surprised and said he doubted it.
So although I love what he’s doing in Florida and he seems totally legit, but I do hope he does not challenge Trump
I seriously doubt he will challenge Trump. If the polling is to be believed, he is a far distant second to Trump in the GOP. Having said that, I think a DeSantis challenge to Trump could be a good thing. It would certainly pull Trump further to the right, and hopefully remove any prospect of Javanka in a second term. Plus, it would give DeSantis more national exposure for a run in 2028. But I think that’s an extreme longshot.
DeSantis has said he’s focusing on being governor for 2024. His wife has just recovered from a bout of cancer and they have 3 young children. I think it is the wrong time for him to run.
I do not think removal of Javanka would happen in a Trump second term. Trump’s conservative tendencies might harden a bit, but, Javanka wields tremendous influence always.
This is great news for Florida. I moved here last year. How much of those gains in Palm Beach Cty and Miami-Dade are due to white collar workers (the laptop class) having moved to Florida over the last two years? How much do these counties factor into the overall at 5.9% increase statewide?
If our Governor would require paper only ballots he would be my hero. Until the machines are gone and 2020 is rectified nothing else matters.

Thank you Birdbrain. The first man, while lacking the eloquence, stands right up there Reagan, JFK, MLK and hosts of others. LISTEN TO HIM!!!! Our leaders DESPISE us. We are past the tipping point. This only will be solved one way. And only by us! We can trust this to no others. If we lose this opportunity, we won’t even be allowed to whisper ” We could’ve, should’ve, would’ve” and our children, our sweet children, will be slaves. While we stood by and watched.
Yay for my state, my Governor and my county. Don’t New York my Florida
Conservatives welcome. Woke go home.
Kristi Noem….gotta message for you….you ain’t no DeSantis honey…..now go away….VOTE STEVE HAUGAARD
‘bitchute’ currently under VERY HEAVY dns attack in order to stop this recent false-flag/psy-op/’hoax’ school shooting in Txs from being exposed….
see: jimstoneindia(dot)com
Yes. I listened to a podcast on it today. There’s no shell cases, no blood splatter, some fall before being shot and other weird stuff like extra shoes in the video. There is a section where a woman is shot in the head from several feet away. Her head remains intact.
the “Free State of Florida”………not quite, almost there. Maybe soon.
The State of Florida is not a Constituional Carry state regarding 2A rights. A permit is required to own a handgun and open carry is illegal.
DeSantis wants to pass constitutional carry in Florida.
You aren’t free if the state can veto your right to exercise your 2nd Amendment right to own a firearm.
That, in my experience, is just a formality here. ‘nough said.
My sheriff recommends people carry!!!!
We are getting there w/Constitutional Carry. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
“FREEDOM. If you keep it, they will come.”
Unfortunately. I remember when Florida had no freeway parking lots, and everyone you met walking on the sidewalk of the bigger cities always said hello or nodded with a smile instead.
Those days are gone. Now we have bully drivers that when there’s a merge to one lane, they throw their car at you. That never ever used to happen. It’s a northeast thing, I guess.
To further the problem, all things were relatively inexpensive here. Not anymore. People used to spending a lot more for goods and services are moving here in droves, to the tune of 800~900 people a day in the last 2-years.
I yearn for the days of old: “calmer”, no traffic jams and cheaper prices. Those are long gone….
Been in Florida since 1977. I shed a tear now and then for what it has become 🙁
I just bought in Florida. Leaving the sorry state of Illinois in June.
Welcome, register to vote we need you.
Did you win a lottery? Jealous, I am!
It’s amazing how productive people can be when they’re not being dragged down by their own government. FJB and the entire DNC.
Love deSantis and what he does in Florida. Nevertheless, according to zip recruiters, FL has the lowest average salaries in the nation. But catching up is certainly good since real estate prices in FL have skyrocketed and it’s no longer cheap to live there.

Doesn’t wage growth without increases in productivity = inflation?
Maybe. But wage stagnation in the face of high inflation in basic necessities = destitution.
I would like to move there.
FREEDOM. If you keep it, they will come.

FREEDOM, like COURAGE, is CONTAGIOUS.
[As is COWARDICE.]
So now Georgia will likely elect a moronic racist fugly DIM governor as a way to keep up? That state is a lost cause.
As a Floridian…..get on our level, America.
Make America Florida.
He needs to declare for 2024 and President Trump needs to stay out of The mix other than advocating for candidates who share his America First vision.
Of course they do! Florida is the last outpost of America, Constitutional government and free market economics on this continent. The rest of us and our states are fighting what appears to be a rear guard action in the Globalists’ war on humanity. Jack Posobeic and Noor Ben Laden gave a stunning report on Bannon’s War Room today, precisely outlining the Globalists’ next move in turning the USA and western Europe into totalitarian slave states in the style of Communist China. Our government puppets were there at the Globalist summit in Davos, putting the final touches on their demonic plan.
My son and family (including my only granddaughter, age 8) are moving from LA to FL in June. These former progressives were shocked and appalled at the mask and vax mandates for children. “What happened to ‘my body, my choice’ they cried”. No vaxs for them or especially not for their child – school mandates were the final straw. They lost numerous friends over this. Thank God they are red pilled now. He is a pianist and is walking away from all his LA gigs and putting trust in God for new business in Florida (weddings, restaurants, events) in the Jacksonville/St Augustine area. They will never vote Dem again. Prayers up please: http://www.jeremyweinglass.com classically trained.
From the Link in the article. The Government employees could not even get the first line of the report right!
How do you increase in 344 of only 343 counties? Common core math.
It won’t last.
With gas approaching 5.00 a gal, people are not going to be traveling as much and our state is heavily dependent on tourism dollars to fund a lot of business’. Good. As much as I want people to thrive, we need a depression to stop the madness that is murdering my beloved State.
The southern part of my State has been ruined by too many people from somewhere else who don’t understand what Florida is ecologically and don’t like it so they drain it and fill it to suit themselves and large corporations like Lenar,Deltona, Pulte, etc.
All of the beaches that we used to go to as kids are planted with condos. The water quality is gone from everyone wanting a perfect lawn so they spray chemicals which run off into the estuaries causing algae blooms.
Florida used to be the fourth largest cattle State, now it is just butt ugly subdivisions everywhere filled with people who tell you how much better it was where they came from. 🙁
Luv my Guv, but I wish he would quit encouraging people to come here.
Yep.
Meet me at Satchel’s..
I have lived in Florida for a mere twenty years. It is not without its problems despite having the nations best Governor. Both our senators Rubio and Scott are RINO’s, my congressional representative is left turn Vern Bucannon another RINO. The growth in my area Sarasota/Manatee county is unsustainable, housing is no longer affordable. The latest development craze is four story apartments, they are popping up all over. Homeless people and street beggars are a common sight.
FL is a great state to live – in the current political climate.
This article needs some fleshing out. Haven’t had time to do the legwork myself. Is the FL gain in real wages attributable to a denominator that is lower on a state by state comparison?
Moved to Florida in 2016 after 35yrs in Texas. I knew then.
What real LEADERSHIP looks like!
And if they keep coming, we will be talking about how Florida has become the next NY in 20 years.
In my lifetime I have experienced the quality of life in this state being largely destroyed! Compare that to my income and I’ll tell you it’s not a worthy trade off!
Our family is looking elsewhere, NE Tennessee is looking high on our list.
I am a wannabe Floridian – working on my life situation to be able to relocate.
Hoping that people who move there do not try to change the politics.
We sure are extremely blessed to have DeSantis as Governor of Florida!
Really dodged a bullet – imagine if we had down-low druggie Gillum through the pandemic years, and now during the Jobama ruination. Gillum was a terrible mayor of Tallahassee.
