Both President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have provided updates on the current status of negotiations with the Iranian regime.
President Trump delivered an update from his Truth Social Account:
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — And nobody wants that!
During my discussions on Saturday with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords.
Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!). It may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be.
The Abraham Accords have proven to be, for the Countries involved (The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan), a Financial, Economic, and Social BOOM, even during this time of Conflict and War, with the current Members never even suggesting leaving, or taking so much as even a pause.
The reason for this is that the Abraham Accords have been great for them, and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years. It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled! It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention.”
“In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords. Wow, now that would be something special! This will be the most important Deal that any of these Great, but always in Conflict Countries, will ever sign. Nothing in the past, or in the future, will surpass it.
Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition. The Middle East would be United, Powerful, and Economically Strong, like perhaps no other area, anywhere in the World!
By copy of this TRUTH, I am asking my Representatives to begin, and successfully complete, the process of signing these Countries into the already Historic Abraham Accords. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke of the current status during his trip to India, shortly before his visit to the Taj Mahal. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed reporters in New Delhi before departing for Agra, discussing Iran nuclear negotiations, Hezbollah tensions, India-U.S. relations, Pakistan concerns, and President Donald Trump’s stance on diplomacy. Rubio stressed that Washington will “give diplomacy every chance to succeed” while warning against a nuclear Iran and reaffirming strong ties with India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Defying SCOTUS, Alabama federal judge says race can be used in gerrymandering.

Alabama will not listen to this as it is not legal or binding they will ignore it and tell the courts to sue them in federal court, and take it to the supreme court which will state their previous ruling stands. It’s all puppet theater to pretend to fight for those that need no fighting for. It’s democrat drama and it’s a B movie at best.
This thing just keeps getting weirder and weirder by the day. We have a “cease fire” but we don’t. We’re nearly at a deal, but Iran is planting more mines. When, oh when will our President understand that you cannot make deals with terrorists? ANY so called “deal” is a bad deal. If you go to war, you don’t stop and let the enemy regroup and rearm. You go to the end, and the end is when and ONLY when the enemy no longer exists at all. If your enemy is still breathing, the war is not over. What has happened to our lion? Why is he only operating overseas? Why won’t he drain the swamp? Why won’t he end the evil of AI? Why won’t he cut credit card interest rates so people can recover from the Biden inflation? Where are the DOGE checks? Where are the tariff checks? Where is the largest deportation action in world history? Why is Alligator Alcatraz closing? Why does he allow practically every two bit county justice of the peace to stop his efforts? So many questions, so few answers. We are losing our country more every day, and he is worried about freeing “Cuber.” (a little Kennedy lingo there) Do yourself a favor and search on you car’s TCU. You will be shocked at what has been happening to you in your car.
Why don’t you open your eyes every now and then?
My eyes are wide open, and have been for many years. Maybe some here need to take off the blinders and really see the situation for what it is. Many have no idea just how precarious the state of the nation is. I can understand this. People naturally don’t want to see the bad news, just trust their hero unconditionally. I trust the President too. But he is NOT doing what he said all along he would do. He has caved on many campaign promises, in both terms. What he is doing overseas are all great things to a point. I fully get it. But they are not as important as the domestic issues that MUST be fixed and fixed now. I sense that something has happened to Trump. Has he given up on saving the country? Has he been scared off by al the pew pew attempts? Is his family in danger? Is there some other reason? But SOMETHING is wrong with this picture. I know one thing for sure. The nation cannot be saved with the ones who put us in peril still operating freely like they are now. Hundreds need to be locked up, starting with Obama and the Clintons.
You forgot the Aksually prefix to your block buster summary of UniParty talking points.
Whoa, man!
Give me a sec to uncross my eyes.
Nope: I refuse the black pill you’re proffering us.
When they say ‘peace and safety’….
CFP gets it RIGHT…..ENOUGH ALREADY….!
“THIS IS WHAT YOU TELL IRAN —
‘Open Hormuz immediately.
TODAY.
There will be no tolls.
For every ship you attack, we will kill 10 members of Parliament, regime or IRGC leaders.
The killing will be relentless.
No frozen funds will be released until the people of Iran are free.
We will continue the Naval blockade and strategic bombing and airstrikes will begin again.
There will be no bailout for the Mullahs.
We will never capitulated to the enemy.”
Where are these leaders located?
Likely under 100’s of feet of granite…..
Hence, Trumps current DILEMA……
& apparent ambiguity and lack of uncontrolled violence….plus “verified intel” of the remaining
“remnants” of basij & IRGC repositioning & taking up command positions in schools, hospitals and places of worship etc, etc, during the “ceasefire”….
SOMEBODY is giving the orders to lay the mines, negotiate, attack ships in the Straits. Who? Why no take out Kharg Island for starters? I am confused by all this. Can someone enlighten?
New leadership in Iran is being given a chance to rejoin a peaceful seeking world. The alternative is to create newer leadership in Iran.
The US has been dealing with backward, sixth century dwelling Muslims since at least the 1982 bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in Beirut. The time for any negotiations with the mullahs is over. CFP has it mostly right but it is time to start leveling cities in Iran. Let’s start with Qom where the mullahs are hiding out.
The mining is a pathetic attempt at relevance, suggesting the IRGC can derail the current process, and delay their fate, which is doubtful, given the number of enemies they now have. Team Trump know they can destroy the cancer that’s ravaged the country for decades simply by signing a piece of paper, not destroying their infrastructure.
The recent strikes on the naval assets though were a useful reminder that the IC analysis of Iran’s AD was motivated by politics, not military reality.
If the Mullahs stay in power, none of this matters. The Iranian/Persian people deserve a chance to be free. Trump needs to force them to open up free elections. Five years from now it will be back to square one.
We want bigger and better bombs. Pull the band aid off already. They’re stalling cause the ghost of John McCain wants Trump to lose the midterms.
I remember what that scum bag osama bin ladin said about his fellow arabs*: they will side with the strong horse. All this posturing by our president to not have to thoroughly destroy the IRGC and Iran is seen by the arabs as pathetic weakness. In their eyes we are losing, like we did in Afghanistan and Iraq. I wish President Trump could understand that.
— I’m not completely black pilled because I hold out hope all this art of the deal BS is simply strategic and he knows it can’t work. No deal is even remotely possible. And the clock is ticking. *And frankly, the undecideds in our country going into the midterms are also the people that will side with the strong horse. If he starts cutting deals our president will not be seen as a peacemaker. He will be seen as the weak horse.
The paths to completion get increasingly more difficult. Iran’s willingness to make a deal shifts continuously, and the stakes get worse with each revelation. MORE $$$, MORE reparations, NO nuclear surrender, REQUIRED control of the strait with FEES. It’s some version of this, OR a massive attack to try and take out major targets, nuke sites, command, control centers hidden in civilian locations, all while trying to keep ships, bases and high value assets from being destroyed by some seriously deadly missiles remaining in their arsenal. Worse yet, no matter how successful we are, it will take weeks, then months, to get done. Then longer to try and restore the economic fallout.
A very nasty dilemma.
I appriciate these articles very much!!
Thank you, Sundance!
