The Tennessee Republican Club has met to decide who they will permit on the ballot. Morgan Ortagus, Baxter Lee and Robby Starbuck have been disavowed by the TN Club for being unworthy candidates according to private rules within the assembly. Mitch McConnell smiles.
There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution which outlines or supports the use of political clubs to create political parties for candidates for office. This is one of the lesser-known facets to U.S. elections.
The Republican and Democrat parties are private clubs with internal rules that operate within the system for elections. Each club chapter can make up their own rules and select candidates for approval based on their own qualifications.
TENNESSEE – The Tennessee Republican Party has removed three candidates, including one endorsed by former President Trump, from the primary ballot for one of the state’s House races.
The Tennessee Republican Party voted on Tuesday to dismiss Trump-backed Morgan Ortagus, who previously served as a spokesperson at the State Department, as well as Baxter Lee and Robby Starbuck, from the primary ballot for the state’s 5th Congressional District, state GOP Chairman Scott Golden confirmed to The Hill. As the 2022 primary season begins to take shape, it is important to remember that all messaging from the people within the private club known as the GOP (for selected politicians) or RNC (for membership to support the selected politicians), does not come from some organic coincidence.
Everything we witness as the club enters their season of greatest business opportunity is all carefully coordinated and presented.
Remember, “artful politics is the purposeful creation of an illusion of options for the audience,” and YOU are the audience.
The RNC want to give the illusion of support for MAGA conservatism because they need the base and donor activity. However, every move they make on an operational level is exactly in line with their previous outlook toward cocktail class republicanism. The MAGA base of support cannot trust this group and must not be blind or unguarded about the Machiavellian schemes they construct.
Both the Democrat and Republican wings of the UniParty in Washington DC created and support the Fourth Branch of Government. Political candidates from within the party machinery should be reviewed carefully by voters who must ask themselves are they really seeing an illusion of choice?
At federal and state levels, the party operates as a private club to prescreen approved candidates for their ballots. Nothing about this entire process changes until MAGA people at the local and state level invest themselves to influence the club determinations. In order to change the club, you must enter the club. That requires a serious investment in time and effort. Changing the things you can no longer accept is not easy.
Whether you agree or disagree with the Tennessee Republican club decision, you must ask yourself if you are comfortable with a private club making the decision about who can appear on a ballot. That is the essential problem with party politics, it is rife for corruption, manipulation and the continuation of a political process that never results in the change you may prefer to see.
Conservatives will argue that to run a candidate outside the GOP approval process leads to a split vote that ultimately helps the Democrat party. Ultra-leftists will argue that to run a candidate outside the DEM approval process leads to a split vote that ultimately helps the Republican party. That’s the argument stimulated and promoted by club insiders.
Tactical Civics is the only way to overcome this challenge. Citizens must join the clubs and work to ensure the voice of the majority is represented by the final club outcome, not a filtering process that only keeps the UniParty system in place.
In the past 15+ years, the Communist wing of the Democrat party has done a much better job of tactical civics. That is why the Overton window keeps moving left. The conservative wing of the Republican party, the current MAGA movement, has not been as effective on a local, state and federal level as the Communist wing of the Democrats.
If you live in Tennessee, you might want to ask the state Republican Party officials: what is the intention of blocking choice in a Republican primary? Shouldn’t the primary contest be the place where the voters decide on these candidate filters? If not, why not? What exactly is the intent of club filtration?
Asking these probing questions will likely result in some very uncomfortable discoveries.
It’s your vote, but maybe their candidate. Find out who “they” are.
Trump Endorsed ” Write In” Winners are going to be huge in 2022 and 2024!
Hey, if Murkowski can do it, we can do it.
Or, let them run as Independents, if they can get on ballot that way.
As long as they are NOT LIKE Murkowski, that would be OK, but she had lots of people fooled. She changed from what she used to be…..or she would still be re-elected, and some may still like her and be voting for her again. Me, I’ll vote for nobody before I’ll vote for her ever again. At the time she ran as a write in, the other person running against her was someone on welfare (while he worked for the government), and used food stamps instead of supporting his way as a wage earner. That was the reason she got picked…..the usual lesser of 2 evils.
Me thinks Morgan Ortagus is SMOKIN’ hot!
Agreed. One stately looking woman.
Yep, that’s why she got Trump’s endorsement. And hell, if I was a billionaire with no existential financial or health issues, I’d do the same. But Ortagus is actually a state department / uniparty member.
Trump endorses hot women or people who kiss his behind. It’s his weakness. Which is why every hiring decision he has made in politics has been a disaster.
Oh, such nonsense!
Sessions, Barr, Pompeo, Tillerson, every chief of staff, Hope Hicks and the other babes in his administration, following the advice of his daughter, his son in law, etc.
Is it nonsense that every one of his hires has been awful?
People are people. Trump has good instincts. But people can easily control him. Morgan Ortagus pledged to help the Biden admin at the height of the 1/6 debacle. Why is this?
https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/01/26/ortagus-pledged-to-serve-biden-in-private-emails/
Because she’s beholden to a govt payroll check and certainly not We the People…wake up Mike
In PA we’re stunned by the Trump endorsement of carpetbagger, gun grabbing, abortionist, Oprah leftist Dr. Oz. Trump is still my president but if he’s listening to f*cktwit Kushner and endorsing leftists like Ortagus and Oz, we need to take a good look at DeSantis 2024
No we need to make our own decisions if we live in the state or district; we know better than Trump and his advisors.
Why should anyone who wants to be a part of the U.S. government ever belong to a foreign government? Oz is still a citizen of Turkey…..he doesn’t need to be part of the U.S.A. government. He isn’t even a full citizen. Dual citizenship is a crock.
Did you listen to Col, MacGregor talking about Trump being too trusting of others? He talked about POTUS being an incredibly nice man, which is what I’ve heard from those who have gotten close to him, but in the oval office gig he was simply too trusting and MacGregor hopes he learned from that. Hard to say if he can overcome that or not.
“and the other babes”
Sessions, Barr, Pompeo, Tillerson?
I’m not an expert, but you should have your eyes checked.
Could you suggest some alternative names that you reckon he should have chosen? Names that also would have been confirmed in the senate.
I love Trump, but do not always like those he says are (in his eyes) the best picks. In fact, some of them have the wool pulled over his eyes as well. After all, he is human still. He isn’t an ‘O’ king. Just like I didn’t always like what he said on Twit….but then again, I had a DH for 42 years, and didn’t always like his picks or words either, but I still loved him….just tried to change his mind on some things. Some I won, others he won. We were a good team.
He is correct about her being another loser. Her husband is johnathan weinberger. Look him up and where he works. I do not know how to post links
Mike and Henry are both right. No nonsense.
Off your meds Mike.
https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/01/26/ortagus-pledged-to-serve-biden-in-private-emails/
If I’m crazy, what are you? “Derg”
She prev worked for Pompeo and called Trump disgusting, among other things…
She’s fake/plastic. Wears so much makeup it looks painted and piled on. But worse is listening to her talk. She’s all generalities and sounds like a mouthpiece of fake media. Everytime I see her she has on more face paint. Ugh. Doesn’t appeal to me at all. She has her sound bites down but ask her something specific about the area of people and it’s back to talking in generalities.
Despite the hurdles (e.g., ballot access), I can’t help but wish we had a viable 3rd party alternative to the GOP. Best thing for the meantime is to cut off the RNC and donate directly to MAGA candidates.
We need an independent, MAGA-funded PAC, that can enable candidates to stay clear of Winred, and the threats from the RNC to defend candidates if they use any other fundraising avenue. Huge racket.
If only half of the 2020 Trump voters (40 million) donated only $5/ month ON AUTO-DEBIT, the PAC would have $200 million every month, to finance our candidates!
Administered by an honest person with a spine of steel, a smart accountant, and competent vetting team, we could mop the floor with that!
No need for RNC funding, or “donor class” funding, and with enough Precinct Committeemen/women to foil GOPe rules, we wouldn’t need a 3rd party!
I bet Ed Rollins could work it out. He’s up in years now, but he would know all the traps, and who to trust. He has run PACs before, knows the ropes.
Bingo.
Thanks I’ll look into it. Starting to listen to Steve Bannon a lot too. Patriots beware of who to trust. Winred is all for rinos.
Bannon has been called by God to what he doing. My only must-watch! Have loved that guy since he took over Breitbart News after Andrew died.
Takes no prisoners, fearless. He will be the impetus to save the nation.
Trump has a “war chest” for precisely that purpose.
I don’t believe it. His warchest is for him, and that’s fine. I want an completely INDEPENDENT FUND, not emboldened to anyone. .
Mtg has a stop socialism pac. Its purpose is to primary rinos. It does not go through winred so I throw money at it.
Yes, I’m on and autodebit with that PAC as well…Except she endorsed JD Vance. Not happy.
Too many people who don’t live in the districts they are trying to control…..that’s why they are spending money…..they hope to control another part of the country so they get their way.
I don’t trust any of the out of state or even out of area people ‘giving’ their money away. Why would anyone give money to someone who can’t do anything for them (yet)? – – – unless they were expecting some sort of a ‘give back’.
I give money to good out of state candidates all the time. I have a shitty rep/RINO, so I donate to other candidates who have a chance. A good MAGA candidate in another state is still a vote for MAGA Americans everywhere.
It’s the big Lefty PACs that do the damage, and there are hundreds of them.
I give money to out of state candidates because I’m stuck in a communist state for the time being. Hopefully I’m helping to make the place I’m moving to a better place.
Haven’t seen the likes of him in a while.
Ed’s about 78 or so now, so I think he’s worn out. He paid his dues.
I donated $100 every month. What do I have for my investment? A stolen election because DJT threw us pleb’s a few crumbs, something the parasitic maggots in DC could not tolerate. I took a chance because I thought it was the right thing to do. Now look where we are? Being purposefully starved into accepting their “new normal.” I’m stocking up for the coming zombie meltdown. They are engineering Venezuela 2.0. If this happens all civility gets thrown out the window. I’m preparing for that too. There is no reason for any of this. All because a few ungrateful psychopath billionaire assholes with god complexes want to control us like livestock. Their greed is insatiable. The world is not enough to satisfy their sickness. I’m tired of being one of their victims.
I block the RNC and yes donate directly to MAGA conservative candidates.
Pay attention to who cashes your checks. DO NOT use your credit card to do it or you will never know where it goes.
We’ve been doing that since the Tea Party was formed.
I apologize if this has already been posited: Can’t they run as write-in candidates? Also, how many times have we been told that the parties do not endorse or interfere with candidates before the Primary has occurred?
Yes, Rick Scott, head of the RNSC, made a big deal of “not put his thumb on the scale” during the primaries, but McConnell poked him, and that promise was quickly abandoned.
Skeletor sucks.
Mayor Lightfoot.
The Bexar co. Republican party told me they don’t get people to run.
when I asked them why they let dems run unopposed.
I told them to run anyone, even Popeye.
because of folks like me who refuse to vote for a dem.
Leaving a blank spot sends the ballot to adjudication to be stolen.
It also lets the unopposed brag about a falsely perceived mandate!
They don’t care!
Good point. I grew up in San Antonio, Alamo Heights/Olmos Park area. I think Pubbies could still get elected in their city elections.
But they do. They just don’t want you to see it. I don’t trust anyone or anything about either politic party. They will do and say whatever they have to as long as they are on top.
I quit donating to RNC. I won’t vote for anyone McConnell backs. McConnell and Rona Romey will turn a 2022 Landslide victory into a complete loss.
Mitch the Bi!@h has been really good at pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. Just look at his record! His time had come (and gone) about 20 years ago!!
How the hell did Mittens Rona get to be head of the RNC? Ditch Mitch and his chicom wife.
Mitch just got reelected in 2020.
It must be the crusty turtle in the next door state that’s manipulating the strings. She must fight this to the end.
The turtle from KY must have a call from the netherworld and go there asap. Evil RINO who enriched himself and his wife from their shipping company ties to the ccp. He hates President Trump and disdains his policies.
Swamp creature of the deep for years.
In charity I ought to pray for him-but I have a tough time with that one.
Please pray for me…..
Well said, we all need prayers for that one.
Pray for him to receive justice — in this world and the next.
I relish the thought of him in eternal agony in hell for what he has done.
All three are more qualified than China Mitch.
If anyone wants a very detailed/academic level break down of why everything moves left:
Ortagus was a rabid Biden supporter (leaked email). She’s no good anyway.
Evidence?
I get so tired of people wanting to be spoon fed info. Does anyone want to research? Ok, here you go Ocelot, I hope SD lets it go through: https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/01/26/ortagus-pledged-to-serve-biden-in-private-emails/
National Pulse article Jan 26, 2022.
Zerohedge, daily wire, just the news sites also posted on the ortagus chameleon
Treepers are part of a team. We share information because we understand that few of us have the time to chase down every little bit of information. Monday night I met with our election integrity team who are working to secure elections in our county. Tuesday night was the meeting with We the Parents who are working to keep our local schools from going off the cliff. Wednesday is Bible study – the book of Revelation. Tomorrow I am having a dinner meeting with my state rep to explain how CRT and SEL are actually being taught in the schools even if it isn’t in the state standards. I am booked and greatly appreciate all the Treepers who summarize and post links. If you don’t want to be on the team, get out of the dugout.
Here ya’ go, Mike, for your convenience, #9 from Comments Guidelines:
“9) CITATIONS – There’s a big difference between an opinion and an assertion of fact. Feel free to provide opinions; however, if you are making an assertion of fact you must attach a citation for review.”
I did search for it Mike before I replied to you. National Pulse’s article did not appear for me due to censorship etc. There was only one negative mention of Ortagus on a dubious site.
However, Mark Steyn often has National Pulse writers on his GB TV show including Natalie Winters on Tuesday so it is a reliable site. I would thank you for your link but your obviously irritated that I had the gall to ask you for a source that I couldn’t find.
Cursor to 40:00 below if the Current Time doesn’t set
Read the Fact Sheets on them both!

I would not vote for either of them.
Do your own research. If you don’t know how, learn. I’ve learned, if I can you can also as I’m not the sharpest pencil in the box.

Oh, its negative Nelly again.
Read the article.
I was referring to your nonsense
and it seems to be always nonsense
This is exactly what I’m afraid of when the Presidential election rolls around – that Trump and the people will be betrayed AGAIN by the Republican party. And the media will back up the story “He’s just not that popular anymore/ He’s lost support after Jan 6”, etc. They will Bernie Sanders him if we, MAGA, do not get in there on a local level and stop it. Has anyone tried the Precinct Committee strategy? There seems to be a lot of local MAGA activism around. Now we learned rallies and truck parades and boat parades are great and important – but we actually must get to work. When I need motivation, I just look at Shanghai right now. Before March 2020, no one thought the US would ever lock down.
Democracy by the Sleazebags and for the sleazebags
“The Ortagus campaign said the candidate met all qualifications in the state GOP’s bylaws..” but was still rejected. The GOP is inundated with infuriating, back stabbing scoundrels and evil selfish manipulators. It is definitely time for a tide of angry Tennessee GOP voters to rise up and confront their party’s Club like the parents of Loudon County did to school board members. Nobody else will fight for their political rights.
Maybe the future of the USA is not important to Tennessee voters so their kids are doomed to grow up in a Uni-party dystopia if these political sleazebags are not challenged. This is not exactly an ideal form of democracy that is produced “by the people and for the people”.
What preferred candidates or candidate did the “Club” accept?
Since neither the Republican nor the Democrat parties meet the requirements of the MAGA movement maybe the MAGA movement needs to separate from these two parties and build their own group ( I don’t want to call it a party we would be just falling back into the same trap as those two parties with a few people running the show). Even if we don’t have enough to take over control of the government we can affiliate with some of the members of the other parties that are aligned with our positions and assert our agenda that way. Also, we may be able to get some of those people to join us.
J6 was a blown opportunity.
Morgan Ortagus knows nothing about Tennessee; she has only been in Tennessee since November of 2021. She’s a carpetbagger. She probably could not tell you one historically-significant thing about Tennessee. Bet she doesn’t have her own address memorized yet. If she’s so sure of herself, she can run as an Independent.
The U.S. Has A Potemkin Government, And It’s Not Just Joe Biden (thefederalist.com)–Joy Pullman:
“The term “Potemkin village” arose in Russia to describe empty buildings set up as propaganda, to give a false impression of industry and life. The fake villages were intended to hide the regime’s mass mismanagement and infliction of suffering upon its own people.
In 1949, The New York Times described Moscow as a “Potemkin village” because its apparent vitality and strength, artificially boosted to both provide the corrupt elites a comfortable place to live and foreign visitors a misleading portrayal of the nation, was “unrepresentative” of the typical Russian’s everyday life under Joseph Stalin.
The phrase was allegedly named after Grigori Potëmkin, an imperial Russian military official who reportedly first deployed the tactic. (Soviet “history” is untrustworthy, especially when it appears to blame-shift evil deeds onto monarchs and capitalists instead of national socialists.) According to CIA archives, the Soviet Communists widely deployed the deceptive tactic, of course. …
The U.S. federal government has clearly and openly become a total farce. This is not just in the symbolic farce of regime actions such as placing a man who claims to be a woman in charge of what is supposed to be a health agency, and installing into the presidency a man whose incompetence is so dangerous to national security and international order he is prevented from speaking publicly by a fierce Easter bunny.
It is also in the utter farce of governmental authority at all, as seen in almost every major public issue, big and small. …
About the only thing Congress can do right now is further inflate prices for working people by endlessly greasing politicians’ corrupt cronies. Oh, they can also elevate to final oversight of the people’s Constitution a woman who believes our natural human rights must be destroyed. That’s a Potemkin Supreme Court justice, and if we get one more like her, or one of the current ones goes softer, it will be an entirely Potemkin Supreme Court.
Both parties have been complicit in such behavior such that no other conclusion can be drawn but that leading elements of the Republican Party are simply a controlled opposition.
In other words, another Potemkin mirage. How can someone go on stage and tell voters he loves the Constitution, then let members of his caucus vote to confirm to the Supreme Court someone who avowedly hates the Constitution with precisely zero effective sanction? One can only conclude these people are lying liars who lie — obscenely, for pay and prestige. …
At the same time, does any person in the federal government appear to have any of this under control, or even possess a plan for leading us out of any of these fiascos? To ask that question is to provoke a bitter laugh. At best, these people wildly jerk their skin suits onscreen to project to the rest of us whatever Potemkin propaganda they hope will keep us believing in their false projections of power.
Joe Biden is a symbol of the entire federal government: Its dangerous incompetence, corruption, and utter disrespect for the American people and the rule of law.”…….
Potemkin did win his war in Ukraine for Catherine, so there’s that. (Ending up with Russia extending to the Dniester River.)
After which he opened a chain of Bio-Labs fronts.
Oh, wait–that was the Bidens.
BUT – Trumps endorsement is NO guarantee the candidate is the best for America. Dr Oz? JD Vance? He’s got RINO dinos on his staff coming up with endorsements that make no sense if cleaning house is a priority.
Face it folks, the man is suicidal wrt staffers. This further demonstrate his complete inability to select patriots to work for him. (Barr? Milley? Haspel???)
The BEST thing DJT could do for America is play rodeo clown for DeSantis.
But – that would put his ego in competition with his patriotism. Not a bet I’d make.
I can’t even…..
Blah blah pffffttt.
There really is no defense for many of his appointments so I feel your pain. There are many POTUS groupies who see him as near God-like and any criticism of him will therefore earn you their indignant reply. However, he is human and had his faults. We all understand them much better now.
Throwing him under the bus as a rodeo clown isn’t warranted, IMO. No matter what his faults may be, every God loving American owes him an incredible debt of gratitude for opening our eyes to and exposing just how vast the corruption of government, media, et al, in this country really is. He took it on the chin for all of us. He could have kept his cushy life as was. He didn’t. He stuck his neck out. God bless him always for doing so. Few people could take the nonstop assault he has faced and remain standing.
Where do we go from here as it pertains to 2024? Hard to say. Will there even be anything left to save by then? Too many variables. DeSantis is my Governor. I absolutely LOVE the man and his policies. Frankly, I wish we could keep him where he is indefinitely because of how good he is for Florida. Does that mean he’d perform just as well in DC? None of us really know. We would hope so but that swamp does funny things to people.
As I said, I feel your pain and understand your facts but I, personally, do not believe POTUS deserves that level of denigration. He deserves our collective gratitude and admiration. IMO.
Hear, Hear! An excellent post Levi!
Thank you. You have said what I’d have liked to say but didn’t quite have the words without getting nasty, and nasty isn’t the way to answer any one back. Again, thank you.
Another 4 years as gov will sharpen him up, to 4un for Prez in 2028.
BINGO; he isn’t always right and he doesn’t always have the best advice given to him. Including from you and/or me.
If our MAGA candidates can’t run for election, then why, pray tell, are any of us in the
republican party? I know that I vote republican (in Illinois which is a joke except for
local elections), however, not one dime goes to any candidate that isn’t MAGA.
Wait for it…..if they keep getting away with this, what is preventing them from
banishing President Trump -or Ron DeSantis in the future – for running for the
office of President?
Oh, they’ll try!
They sound like Rino clubs to me and should be taken on full force…Trump should recommend some patriots to run as independents…He’s the leader of the party and needs to be forcefull against this inside club and take them on…The voters are in no mood to support Bush or McConnell types..
He should have started a new party with only MAGA principles and policies. The republican party is dead to both me and my husband. If the dems win and take us down, it will be with the help of the republican party, not because I voted for a back-stabbing liar.
Everyone says that another party would just split the population into another group, so if you split the population in thirds, who would come out the winner…..nobody would get the percentage they need to win; at least that’s the way I’ve heard it, and that makes sense….how many times is a third of anything bigger than the half?
Thank you for the information!
Usually Sundance is right on target but I think this piece is misleading – the RNC has absolutely nothing to do with the decision of the State Executive Committee applying the rules as stated in their bylaws about who qualifies to be on the BOP ballot. The State Executive Committee members are ELECTED to represent their districts. My SEC member is a hard conservative just as are a number of other SEC members that I know personally. In fact, I would say that having elected representatives in the state party making these decisions is way more preferable than having DC Republicans making these decisions.
I am sorry, I am from Nashville Tennessee and this is being misrepresented and while I think mighty highly of my President Donald J. Trump he continues to prove both by who he surrounded himself while in office, and some of those he endorsed since leaving, that he is far from perfect. The carpet baggier; Ortagus, IS the establishment candidate almost totally financed by the uber leftist head of Oracle. The GOP did right to put her and the others out because by flooding the field with candidates making it more difficult for the best candidate to gain traction.
Tks for the insight. The same thing with Oz in PA and I wish the GOP would kick him out.
And I don’t even live there and he doesn’t live here……that’s why I won’t ever vote for him…..and he doesn’t represent me or my area…..and besides, it wouldn’t be legal, which is why their out of area or out of state funding shouldn’t be legal either. JMO
Who is the best candidate in your opinion? I’m not criticizing your comment–only curious.
Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) / Twitter
Musicmikeb nailed it above. “Mayor Andy Ogles who has been here all of his live, stood on the line against medical firings over vaccines, pro 2 nd amendment and a pdjt supporter”.
Even more, he is NOT running for re-election as mayor as he is all in to win the race to go to Congress. While I may (or may not) support whoever the candidate ultimately is, Andy Ogles is the ONLY candidate worthy of the vote in the primary.
Meet Andy:

Agree. I live the next county over from Andy Ogles, and when I heard he refused to mandate masks as mayor, I emailed him to thank him. My husband is running in our local election for county commissioner, and we wish the TN GOP had been this strong about enforcing their rules 4 years ago when a true conservative lost the county commission race by only 3 votes and the TN GOP declined to conduct a recount.
I still will wait until Election Day to make my selections, but Andy Ogles is the front runner in my opinion and I am glad he won’t be marginalized by big money politics.
First off, party ExComms do have power and don’t necessarily represent the whole party. But I know from experience that there can be a problem of people coming out of the wood-work to run for a higher office as complete unknowns to anyone in the party. Note that “primaries” were inventions of the progressive movement in the early 1900s.
It could be said, let anyone self-identify as a Republican and run in any race they can file for, but that can backfire too.
People seem to forget, there is still money to be made by just running…..don’t have to win, but one can make money just by running…..don’t forget that.
Citizens United needs to be overturned.
big money in politics is a problem.
Not thee problem but a problem.
Kick the Republican party to the curb. Bury the Democrap party under a couple of tons of concrete. Now THAT is a reset I can get behind.
This can’t be true.
Trump has taken over the base of the Republican Party with the Precinct Committeeman Strategy so all the local Republicans are now Trump supporters.
This bottom up takeover of the Republican Party is what Trump has been working on for the last year so the Republicans aren’t able to screen him over again.
So how many Trump / MAGA are delegates to county or state convention?
That’s not true, Most of our Committemen are the same people as they were 4 years ago.
Not yet. Precinctstrategy.com
Worth reposting one more time…. We need to FOCUS on removing/defeating the GOPe leadership such as McConnell & Co using any means necessary. Get video of them drunk at a bar, publicize their divorce records, get a copy of the Congressional list of sexual harassment payouts, vote against them in the Primary and if they win it anyway, show up and vote for their Democrat opponent. Use any means necessary, fair or unfair, to expose their weaknesses as human beings and legislators to trip them up, make them resign, send them packing.
No more Mr. Nice Guy. You can’t beat an MMA fighter with Marquis of Queensbury rules.
The democrat I voted for a couple years ago, I don’t/can’t remember the name, but voted for one rather than the R that was against that one. I’m still not an R, nor am I a D. I vote for the person, not the party.
There’s at least 20 of them in this election cycle. We need to primary them all.
I wouldn’t vote for any of the club’s candidates. May as well have a Democrat as a RINO
Many people have called for a 3rd Party. Now that you have gotten your wish, Outagus, Starbuck, and Lee can run as Independents or 3rd Party, you seem upset. Why?
We all know the answer. It is because it is far easier to change the Party from the inside rather than as an outsider.
In this race I support Starbuck. I do not support the Tennessee Republican rule on residency.
Real buddy Smot, where do you live?
You remind me of something I was told years ago that was being done…..use whatever initial you want in whichever place you chose… take your pick of who you think will ‘beat’ the top runner on the opposite ‘team’ and change your team ahead of primary…..so you can vote against the top runner on the other team – so that one loses. Then the bottom runner from the other team is the only one left. That one can’t beat the top runner of the other team….cause they all go back to the original team before it is too late to vote for the original team.
This is just an advertisement, grifters.
Ad rem, can you filter these out?

As I keep saying… You can’t out vote this.
MAGA is simply Tea Party 2.0.
If you elect Republicans you WILL get Republicans!!!
Repeat after me, Treepers: “We are not going to reform the GOP. The GOP must be replaced.”
The Republican Party completely eliminated the Whig Party, and then elected a President (Lincoln) in basically two election cycles. The Whigs collapsed mainly over the issue of slavery. The GOP is split between the Government Party loyalists (“the uniparty”) which wants nothing to do with the 80% of GOP voters who elected them (i.e. “us”).
The Democrats now have a growing number of members who are much more closely aligned to “us” than to the Government Party as well. You see this in the 5-10% of blacks who regularly vote Republican, increasing alienation of white voters who have Hispanic surnames, and working class Americans in the MAGA coalition (Reagan/Trump Democrats, basically).
That club structure needs to be destroyed. The Communists in the Democrat party fear this because they would quickly lose the fig leaf provided by the Party.
We will not Make America Great Again until the GOP and the Democrat Party as utterly destroyed. That cannot happen as long as we keep trying to join the club.
We need to form our own party. We need to hold our own nominating processes. We need to establish a set of principles that we are FOR and which people can rally around. If we’re reactionary, we lose.
How? It would be almost impossible.
Legitimate money. Dark money. The intel corruption —including media and foreign influence. Look at the five eyes collaboration to impugn and destroy Trump. I am not saying don’t resist. However, with the federal government filled with unelected careerists— who block, interfere, and disrupt any attempt at a functional republic with elected officials who are not bought and paid for… I just don’t see a way out of this. Hiw?
How not Hiw!
Done with the RNC and the GOP fundraising, it goes direct to the candidate or not a penny.

My statement on
@TNGOP kicking me off the ballot in a last minute secret meeting, via a secret vote with no representation for me allowed in the room. This is long but read it all to see what they’re doing. We will NOT back down. We WILL fight for our voters and fair elections!

Trashville strikes again!
And another establishment narrative – on Tucker tonight and a story in The Hill – to avoid doddering fools (Biden, Feinstein), we need to have age limits. Matt Walsh on Tucker floats out 75 years old,,,,,transparent much?? They are panic mode about Trump. More club attempts to keep him out
I saw that segment. It wasn’t about Trump, They were talking about Biden and Feinstein.
Trump has his wits about him. Biden and Feinstein don’t!
Write in…
Any MAGA candidates who are 1) challenging establishment RINOs, and @) have a state law that allows for a certain number of voter signatures to bypass the primary CAN AND SHOULD collect those signatures!
Idaho has this law, and thank Heavens! Regardless how the primaries turn out for our governor and US Senate races, conservative candidates for these positions have assured themselves a place on the ballot for the GENERAL election in November. This means a) they don’t have to spend money to compete against RINO incumbent coffers in the primary because they can skip it and run as Independent Conservatives, and 2) voters will have a real choice on ballot for these offices in November, when more people vote.
It’ll be RINO incumbent Governor Little (assuming he wins a tough primary) v Independent Ammon Bundy and RINO incumbent Senator Crapo (assuming he wins a fairly easy primary) v Independent Conservative Scott Cleveland. They may split the vote, but in red Idaho, I’ll take my chances that no Dem candidate for either office could win.
MAGA candidates have to take advantage of these laws if they can. It’s too late for the primaries, but maybe not for the General in November….
Ortagus was in tight with Victoria Nuland and Yovanovich in the State Dept. So I don’t know who or why Trump endorsed her.
His staff is SELLING endorsements…A la Corey Lew!ndowski. Puke.
Screw that! Its well overdue to start running as independents and challenging these incestuous clubs! This entire nonsense of always having to run for one party or the other has to change if real change is going to happen. I am so tired of the excuses about, but, but, but “you will just siphon votes from the Republicans if you vote for so and so” Bullcrap! In the age of internet, social media, one candidate who is passionate and is true to their core will find a way to reach the people and make their message heard, it just takes effort, hard work! There are more pretenders than there are contenders in the field which is why most drop out in a election process, they: A) Don’t truly believe in what they are running for B) They want it easy and don’t want to work hard C) Don’t want to get a job so they continue to run for office without success(See Burrito Beto)
Maybe they don’t have ANY MONEY. They need MONEY, and our people, for the most part, are CHEAP.
As I’ve said for years, just because an elected official or a prospective elected official has the letter “R” after their name doesn’t mean they are a conservative, that they follow the Constitution, or they have the best interest of the citizen they represent.
Rather, they probably are only concerned with their own personal best interests.
If social media is national security then is controlling who wins elections also national security?
So, run like Murkowski did in Alaska as an Independent.

2/ tomorrow is the supposed “final” 🗳 vote; hopefully the party will reconsider its wrong decision, allow an open, public vote, and allow the correct electors to vote on this decision. And then trust the voters to make the right choice, be it Republican

No matter whether you like any of the candidates or not….
This was wrong, corrupt, and rigging an election by the TN gop club and should be rejected.
Some of these candidates announced they were running a long time ago, raised money and support, and have been campaigning hard.
You don’t change the rules two weeks before the primary that removes them from the process.
If they want to change the rules it should be effective after the general election. Period. Anything else is clearly against election integrity.

@pnjaban
I represent @robbystarbuck; My TN GOP friends clearly have a preferred candidate—and they don’t trust R voters to make the same choice so they rigged the primary behind closed doors in violation of state law. Tennessee GOP Empire Strikes Back – WSJ

As a Tennessean I support the decision. We don’t want people moving into our state and using our state to run for Congress. Hillbag isn’t the only one who has done this. Look at Romney in Utah, Cheney in Wyoming. That’s just three off the top of my head. No thank you, no Carpetbaggers!
But that’s not what Robby Starbuck did. He did not move there to run for office.
Here is his statement –
Note to third party afficionados: American communists have had their own party for years and couldn’t get anywhere until they decided to infiltrate and take over the Democrat Party. MAGAs need to take over the Republican Party apparatus. It starts at the grass roots level.
The most successful third-party presidential candidate, Ross Perot, did nothing but give us the Clintons twice. Had Clinton lost in 1992, those crooks would have gone back to Arkansas for good.
He was the giant sucking sound, that sucked all the vote from HW, especially when he looked at his watch, so Clinton got elected. Deja vu Brandon.
I’m so glad someone finally told the whole world about the “club” the politicians have. I’ve wondered about their privileged status for a long time. This message along with the fact that same politicians have to ‘bid’ for the big name headings they want to have makes me ask one more question….who gets the money that they bid? Does it go to McConnel or Miss Pissy or someone else who has more control than they do?
Tennessee Star reported that 78% of Ortegus’ campaign contributions came from out of state.
Carpet bagger.
When Bernie Sanders lost the candidacy to Hillary Clinton in 2106, Jared Beck brought a lawsuit against the DNC, indicating that the primaries did not support the DNC decision to run Clinton as their candidate. Beck lost the lawsuit, as it was admitted that the DNC is a PRIVATE CORPORATION, who, REGARDLESS of who the Democrat voters chose, where allowed to put forward the candidate of THEIR CHOICE.
You are allowed to choose between the candidates that the political ‘corporations’ select for you. It’s that simple.
I commented about this on another post. I will say that this is contrary to Mitch McConnel’s liking. Ortegus was anti-Trump until Pompeo brought her into State. Once Biden was installed she drooled over the Regime trying to stay in State. She’s a carpetbagger for sure. She didn’t move to the state until Nov. 2021. When quizzed about the area she couldn’t name one of the 3 major interstates running through the 5th District. Fortunately there is an awesome person running for the seat. Andy Ogles is a local guy who has been a major conservative activist since the early 2000’s. He’s been county mayor for one of the largest counties in the newly drawn 5th district. Andy never had any mandates in his county throughout the 2 years. No school shuttering, no masks – Maury (pronounced Murry) County was the freest county in the state of TN. It is the fastest growing county in the state. Aside from Andy, there are another 7 or 8 good people running in the primary who are local and have a vested interest in the area. Hey, one of the people blocked was a guy who had voted in every GOP primary except for the 2020 primary. That knocked him out.
I am a precinct committeeman and we have similar rules to keep carpetbaggers, and democrat/socialist/communist interlopers from showing up as Republicans and wanting to be our candidate. We have had Trojan horses from the left infiltrate our party and we all know it as we call them RINOs.
Not sure why, but Trump’s staff and candidate choices have been a mixed bag at best. The “kingmaker” should always be We the People, and that cannot be delegated to any (even Trump). There should be enough local MAGA people to carry this to the finish without electing fakers. Yes, local involvement is essential to achieve anything big, in the longer run.
just as bad in oregon. these gop secret society types are known by their fruits.
OKAY, WHY would somebody be for moving into an area, NOT knowing the people or culture, wanting to be a representative of constituents you do not even understand? And also, I don’t understand WHY The Gateway Pundit and now Sundance seems to take issue with people that look at this as carpetbagging. NO, I am not comfortable with a “club” making decisions like this however, I AM more uncomfortable with somebody doing like Hillary did and moving into a State just to get elected. Furthermore, Ortegus, from what I’ve read, had that RINO, Limp Wrist Lindsey Graham stumping for her. ANYTHING he stumps for I will question….I think the decision to not let this happen is the right one….ALSO, This appears to be another BAD endorsement by the President. He now has endorsed what appears to be at least 4 RINO’S in the last 2 years. DO NOT FORGET, he endorsed Limp Wrist Lindsey for re-election in ’20 who won, he endorsed Boozman from Arkansas, a record of RINO decisions, JD Vance here in Ohio that we Conservatives here WILL NOT vote for and now we see this. WHO in the HE** is advising the President on these endorsements?
