She did it again. Just like in February, when Psaki (seemingly out of the blue) gave a weird proactive statement about bad economic data that was going to be released the following day {LINK}. Earlier this afternoon White House spokesperson Jen Psaki gives another proactive justification for even worse inflation data that is about to be released from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics tomorrow.
In this brief soundbite, Psaki says the March inflation data that is going to be released tomorrow is going to show “Putin’s price hikes” on U.S. consumers. However, even within the framework of her false justification, she attempts to blame Putin for gas price increases in January, when the Russian military operations did not start until February 24th. The inflation news is going to be really bad tomorrow. How bad? WATCH:
https://youtu.be/tNBvUq8e2Ko
None of this will come as a surprise to CTH readers. We noted in the February inflation data (released in March), that things were going to be much worse in the April release. The reason was simple, the massive gas price increases were not yet matriculated in the February data, and the massive food inflation was not yet captured by the USDA component. All of that preceded Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. None of it has anything to do with Vladimir Putin.
The inflation data that will be released tomorrow is the first visible data assembly of the second inflation wave now upon us. Remember, inflation data lags behind the reality of the price increases. What the BLS will show tomorrow is the price results from the last half of Feb through the half of the month of March. It will likely show the largest single month inflation increase in modern history.
How bad is the data going to be?
FLASHBACK TO February: “In my estimation, the massive price increases the bureau quantified through January were the end of the first wave of massive inflation that CTH warned about last October.
“Do what you can do now to start preparing your weekly budget in ways you may not have thought about before. Shop sales, use coupons, look for discounts and products that can be reformulated into multiple meals or multiple uses. Shelf-stable food products that can be muti-purposed with proteins is a good start. Consider purchasing the raw materials for cleaning products and reformulate them yourself to avoid these massive increases in petroleum costs.” [October Warning]
The recent announcement of price increases we have discussed, from food producers specifically (Kraft-Heinz, Proctor and Gamble, etc.), in combination with massive fertilizer and farming costs for future yield, is the second wave that has yet to be fully quantified. The second wave of retail inflation, only just beginning to arrive now in the February results, will extend throughout the spring.
Next month, March data reported in April, the second wave of inflation data should carry the first big jumps in gas and diesel prices. For ordinary people, this next round of food inflation will be focused predominantly in the ‘Fresh Foods‘ categories. Fresh produce, vegetables and fruits have short life cycles, and rapid increases in transportation costs hit that segment fast and hard.
On the positive side, our victory gardens are going up in value, very quickly. A few backyard growing boxes can generate an easy $200 to $500/month in fresh produce as the price of ordinary row crops at the store starts to double and triple. Mature citrus trees are worth their weight in gold right now.
The BLS data was collected at about the time of the red arrow in this graphic below (Feb 10 to 15). You can see where the gas price goes from the point at which the inflation data was collected. That 30% spike is what will roll-up into next month’s inflation data. (Written from the March data)
About the only thing that hasn’t inflated is Biden’s IQ.
😂😂
damn….spilled another beer laughing…..it was worth it…..nice job SS

Seriously, we would be better off with nobody as president.”

Lol!!
these are all old hags that enrich themselves and will enslave the next generation of americans.
Deflating by the minute.
Ordering my “I did that” stickers today.
Read an article today about a man being arrested for puting those sticker on gas pumps.
Let me guess “destruction of private property”?
One arrest in the whole country? I ‘ll take my chances.
Just be discreet. The guy arrested was supposedly spraying a clearcoat over them to make it harder to remove. Though that whole arrest video looks like a fake, falseflag, staged event maybe intending to discourage people from stickering the pumps?
Agreed. Seems staged.
The Judge sentenced him him to drink a beer with him and the cops …
YES- I saw an article in the UK Daily Mail. It was in PA.
Every gas pump in northern Florida has them, and they stay put.
Where???
I bet if you actually steal the gas that the cops run the other way (at least if you’re in the right pc group).
Will he be charged with insurrection?
Domestic Violent Extremism.
White Supremacy. And he’s black.
Yes, but he’s morally white, so there’s that.
You can stick them on the fruits and vegetables now, right next to the Del Monte and Dole stickers.
Hopefully in bulk. Need to see them on empty shelves in grocery stores and on packages of bacon, etc.
Every last negative indicator of the economy is an extension of Regime policy. They own it. The informed know it. The uninformed will never know what hit them.
It’s all comical in a very disturbing manner.
Yeah, and what “inflation data” will they be presenting?
The CPI? (Consumer Price Index)
The index that “excludes food and fuel” ?
That’s because those two things have very little impact on the cost of living 😉
It’s all comical in a very disturbing manner. But I repeat myself.
They can’t hide it anymore. Any measure they want to pick will be high.
And yet there will be those who believe them….and as I type this- the MSM channel on in the lobby of my current hotel- Biden gun grab presser BS.
Yes, but Joe was yelling again!! /sarc
Cold Cold Anger
I, like Sundance, have run out of refrigerant.
HOT anger is all I have left.
Oh, I may keep my focus, and resolve, not “going off half cocked”,…but looking forward to seeing the whites of their eyes,..I no longer am ableto laugh at the enemies foolishness, I just want to end them, AND their foolishness.
I paid $3.50 for a cheap loaf of bread today.
Farmers thank you. 15 cents worth of flour.
It may go up to 20 cents worth of flour in the heavier loaves.
60 pounds in a bushel of wheat.
I just paid $3.79 for a dozen of eggs.
ouch
I just paid $4.89 for a dozen and expect it to go a lot higher as the summer progresses.
$4.89 an egg, if Bidens puppeteers get their way!
We get them local farm fresh and delivered by our neighbor for $3 doz.
That was last weeks price. It jumped from $3.09 to $489 in one week…there goes my French toast.
I get em out of the barn for free.
Eggs are still $0.69 /dozen where we shop. I am amazed they have not gone up.
Under Trump $1 loaf of bread and 50 cent dozen of eggs. Joe Stalin, $3 bread and $3+ for the eggs.
The organic wheat berries that I buy in 25lb bags and grind to make bread, costed about 58 cents/lb in 2020. A type that I don’t prefer now costs ~74 cents per lb. The kind I do prefer, which is an organic hard red wheat berry is currently “out of stock”, which happens frequently. The hard red wheat berries are currently approximately 82 cents per pound. The math is 1 pound of berries makes a 1 pound loaf of bread for 82 cents, with the addition of a little yeast, water, a little salt, and sometimes I add a little honey. The additional ingredient costs are negligible. These loaves of bread are substantial and packed with nutrition (high protein). The dollar loaves frequently found in the grocery store have a lot of yeast to give them height and the appearance of being large due to their “fluffiness”, and other ingredients you probably don’t want to eat. No offense, but I call grocery store bread “fake bread”. When I was into making 1lb sourdough loaves, they sold for $5 each, other “artisans” sold their loaves for $8/each, but that was a few years ago. So many people wanted to buy that “good bread”, that I couldn’t keep up with the demand and decided to not bake bread for people outside my family (labor intensive).
I’m sharing this story because often “cheap foods” these days is not nutritious food. Empty calories don’t feed the body – they just make us fat and we’re still tired. Not knocking fat y’all, just sayin’, we need to be wise about food choices. That doesn’t mean shopping only at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods (at least before they were taken over). It means purchasing “whole” foods in their original, unprocessed form, and learning how to put foods together to form a nutritious meal. I see a lot of people yelling “stock up!! stock up!!” and then seeing what they’re buying and I cringe.
The people that survived the Great Depression the best were living on farms where they raised their own food. It was fresh and whole. They bartered within their communities. I know I’ve said this before, but go looking for people who grow their own and buy food from them or barter with them. If you’re a techie, make their home network and home computers scream with efficiency and tighten up their security in exchange for some pork or beef or chicken or eggs or vegetables. We can do this without the government and Bill Gates forcing us to eat grasshoppers and synthetic meat that will surely kill us in the end.
My 25 cents.
Where do you buy the wheat berries? Do they ship UPS? Storage? What do you use to grind them?
Look to Azure Standard. If they deliver to your area you will appreciate the price and quality.
AzureStandard.com (Oregon)
Find a drop point near you. You need to pick up your order – they deliver monthly to a drop point in most areas across the U.S. If you choose UPS shipped to home, the shipping costs are extremely high.
Storage: food grade bucket, oxygen absorbers, some people also use mylar bags
Grinding: I purchased an electric grain mill. It was worth the investment to me because it can grind rice, beans, wheat berries, etc. A hand crank grain mill is also an option.
YouTube has tons of videos on how to purchase bulk from Azure Standard, how to store food, etc.
I hope you try it. It’s been fantastic for me.
You can make nutritious soup easily, with 1/2 cup of pearl barley, dried beans , celery, onions, carrots and a soup bone. This makes a whole pot of soup that can be eaten all week with sandwiches or omelets. No need to starve. If you decide to keep chickens you will have eggs.
I am old enough to remember 35 cents a loaf for cheap store label bread in the 60s.
My mom was a bit extravagent with bread. She would only buy the premium name brand 69 cent loaves.
old enough to remember Schmidt blue ribbon, pull the ribbon off the middle & buy half loaf.
Interesting concept. A brand I dont recall seeing in So. California grocery stores.
Just wait until it comes to buying at $3.50 by the slice….if and when you can get even that.
$6.59 for Dave’s.
Expensive but I’m not going to eat Wonderbread. Eating that is the nutritional equivalent of eating donuts. At that, might as well get some sugar with the empty carbs. Yuck.
I love Dave’s bread. It’s what inspired me to make a similar bread from scratch.
It isn’t Putin. It is democrat idiocy.
Idiocy….that is the dems policy!
I hope Biden voters lives are starting to suck, but I don’t think so. So many of my coworkers are off this week on expensive vacations. I have not heard a soul at work worrying about prices yet.
Most actual Biden voters are financially well heeled or Generational Welfare recipients.
Many are debt whores!
Many of course have inherited wealth, and more still have never heard of the genius Sundance.
Furthermore we that read or quote CTH material are nutcase, conspiracy theorists.😉
Cheers!
Second the “Debt whores” having forsworn debt 25 years ago, I can spot them easily now.
They put on a good “front” to the outside World; new car, nice house, etc. but the truth is, they are living very much “on the margins”; they have absolutely NO “disposable” or “discretionary” funds, are living paycheck to paycheck, and are going to be pushed into untenable situation by inflation.
And that applies to about 70+ percent of Americans, who have no budget, live paycheck to paycheck, and are only kept afloat by robbing Peter to pay Paul, and through CREDIT.
THEY simply will NOT be able to handle a significant increase in everything, due to inflation.
Its gonna get real ugly,..
All way’s the one that cried the loudest about lack of overtime.
Ran into a Lib friend last week. All he had to say was “can you believe what Putin is doing to this world”
Light’s are on but nobody is home. Even if they are worried or upset, they haven’t the foggiest how we got here.
I almost feel its the other way around.
The lights are off and the
Leftsits are home.
Curled up in the dark on the couch in a fetal position. and glued to MSM and favorite social media.
So many stories. I have an old friend, former business colleague, who moved down here (Florida) from Illinois. Met him for a drink. I was wearing a DeSantis shirt. Asked him how he liked living in the sunshine state. He said “I didn’t move down here for the politics, I moved down because it’s paradise”.
He’s apparently too stupid to realize, absent the freedoms that the good politics of DeSantis bring, his paradise would be a prison like the sh!t hole state he left.
Funny, I remember when I liked him. Won’t be meeting him for drinks any more.
But why is it paradise? Because of the politics…
Don’t freeze him out, meet again without the shirt and explain the difference. Your story is stronger and true.
Not worth it. There is no changing the mindset of a liberal. In fact, I really have no interest in trying. Just wish he wouldn’t vote here.
Engage! Met a few libs in the Army (very few!), and college, and since. We have all the historical facts & logic on our side. If they engage with you legitimately, you win; but be gentle, be Socratic, ask more questions than you make declaratives. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.. as they (Hayek) said.
Again, no interest. I’ve done it for years, including exactly as you propose. Questions do work to corner them in their own words. Once cornered, they become defensive, emotional and irrational. I’m perfectly content to let them rot.
Honestly, this guy is so stupid he doesn’t understand that paradise isn’t living in your home and wearing a mask or going to the beach and laying out with a mask on, which is what our state would have looked like if not for the politics. I can’t treat that because I am not a Doctor.
Their lives sucked long before Biden was installed.
They just dont know it.
Both of them!
Its gotta be the red hair. Sorry to any redheads out there but this gal is special.
She is NOT a natural redhead. She is a dyed redhead, fake through and through. Natural redheads do not have brown roots, and any natural redhead knows better than to use black mascara. She is a skanky died redhead.

Straight from the SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE department.
One thing is for certain the “high” rate acknowledged by the usurpers will be no where near the actual rate.

yep, they hired her because she’s a documented good* liar
*definition of ‘good’ carries several levels of meaning, several being inherently contradictory

Yes Sir. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Yes
That’s my REAL President!
And always will be
If this trollop told the Truth, her face would melt off like the Nazis at the end of the first “Indiana Jones” movie.
Aaaahahahahahahahaha!
excellent!
Cheers.
She’s just another government propagandist.
Hey Psaki, stop the bs talk, the illegitimate administration incompetents, starting with the White House imbecile, are the cause of this country’s inflation problems.
Too bad a 5 star liar couldn’t get fired on the 71st anniversary of a 5 star general getting fired.
Douglas MacArthur is arguably America’s last strategic genius—every bit the equal of Robert E Lee.
Compare him to the crude lot that infests the upper echelons of military command today and you will be grieved in your soul.
MacArthur’s death sounds like early Arkana-cide.
Well, the death of his military career might sound like it to some.
He lived to 84.
His Parkinson’s was pronounced at the time of death.
Supposedly Patton wasn’t natural causes
It was quite suspicious, if I recall.
Dammit, I got my military geniuses confused.
The stars on the current generals are painted the same colors as the rainbow flag. That alone makes me pause.
Pstupid Psaki can get her panties in a bunch. Koch bought Dupont Fiber and Nylon, spandex all comes from petroleum.
Panties from crude the Arabs exported to Investa China last year. Russia isn’t much of a drop in any of our supply chains including fertilizer.
There is a good supply of Russian titanium in a Boeing. or alloys.
I’ve been to the store and the farmers market in the last week. A report about high inflation won’t surprise me at all.
Wonderful state, SC is.
I am suprised Psaki Psaki didn’t ”catch” Covid again, to avoid letting the Shanghai cat out of the bag.
The red line in the graph should extend back to November 3rd, 2020 for a true comparison between the Trump and Brandon years.
Doesn’t make a difference what’s reported tomorrow or the blame they try to put it on.
Tik Tockers only pick there heads up (take their ear buds out) to fill up and buy weed.
They’re experiencing it now. To them Ukraine is a piece of construction equipment and they ain’t blaming Ukraine or Putin.
The DC communists/RINO’s are going to have to go full mail in ballot to survive.
We’re going to be hearing “Putin did it” all the to November, because the JoeBama Mis-administration has run out of other people, places and things to blame for absolutely everything. Even Covid doesn’t work anymore. Only Putin Man Bad will do the trick.
That’s because the anti-Putin lobby most likely paid for it.
You’ll be hearing about a chemical attack by the same lobbyist soon.

GROOMERS! No deepstate! We do not accept yet another set-up. Fake/orchestrated supply chain issues. Fake/orchestrated food shortages. All grooming us to think this evil inflation couldn’t be helped. This is what Communist takeover looks like. How many still do not see? The swamp will not get drained with the usual mamsy pamsy milquetoast useless words and inaction. FIX2020‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥 that’s the way out!
Even if you entertain their claim that Putin caused the price increases, how did he do it?
It wasn’t anything Putin did to us economically, it was our response to what he did in Ukraine.
Our government CHOSE foreign policies that had a negative economic impact on our country.
That decision still rests with the Biden administration, as should the blame.
Sounds like you’ve had too much to think. 😉
I caught a headline on MSM that stated a recent poll showed “most” believed Russia was responsible for high gas prices and inflation.
Lies everywhere!!
and then the SAME report said a majority blamed Slo Joe for high gas prices…getting so they get in their OWN way when reporting….LOL
Just let us know when it’s time to tell JILL to erect her wooden hearts on the White House lawn, that will have messages such as:
“We Are All In This Together”
“We Just Need To Love One Another”
“Let There Be Peace”
“Money Is So Overrated”
“You Really Do Not Need Food”
“You Also Really Do Not Need A House”
“Just Relax — Joe Will Take Care Of You!”
“Joe & I Are Here To Take Care Of You”
“Don’t You Just Love Us?”
I will stop, as I could roll this along all day long.
One last comment. I did not vote for Joe Biden. Period.
Dorothy — Toto , I’ve a feeling we’re not in ‘ Transitory ‘ anymore !
“Pergatory”, or a pretty close to it.
Brandon did that!
As a econ wizard. I am impressed with this CTH.
In July August 2020 I saw shocking rise in M1 and money supply. Every major move made it worse. Oil policy, Trump sent checks, lockdowns
Every bad move has a multiplier effect. Our GDP for Texas is greater than the GDP of Russia. The weight of variables traced to Russia is small .
Having said that, people in Holland are paying 8-900 a month for gas heat and that has to destroy their consumer spending .
The voters. Seniors. Got soaked with a SS check increase which covered half of last years price increases.
This year by November there will have been 40% increase in food and energy.
No money for Christmas shopping.
Cleverly branded as “The Putin Price Hike”… this will be repeated endlessly by the commie stenographers 24/7 for weeks to come.
Well, then, we need to repeat endlessly “The Biden Price Hike.”
The sad part is that the Republicans would do what Biden is doing with a “lighter” touch.
just look at that omadhaun House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). They wouldn’t want to do anything that might seem “political”.
Then tell me. What good is a friggin political party that doesn’t want to appear (check my notes) political?
McCarthy and McConnell are NFG.
Anything any politician does on Capitol Hill is, by definition, “political” !
What a maroon!
McCarthy is certainly tamping down the enthusiasm for a November Red Wave.
He prefers still waters that don’t upset his gig in DC.
They both qualify as 1st Class Sphincter Orifices.
Liar, Liar, crotch on fire.
Sbould be burnt to a heap of ashes by now.
If dreams could come true.
Putins price hike will then become Putins food shortages
And his WW3.
“Putin forced us into global war!”
Milk Dud boxes that have been $1.00 each at the local grocery store forever just hiked up to $1.25
Yesterday I’m standing in line at the checkout talking to a buddy of mine. He picks up the 1/2 gallon of “organic” milk he wife insists they drink and says it cost him $14 for that half gallon. He does the math and then declares that makes it $28 a gallon! I wonder when their buying habits are going to change?
When their credit card purchase is declined?
My family were dairymen. It would take a very sophisticated lab to detect the difference in organic and regular milk, if it could even find one. Many organic milk operations are batch processes and tightly quality controlled. Their superiority is in the processing and handling, not the organic methods.
The greatest differences in milk are homogenized vs not (not is better IMO), pasteurized and not (stick with the pasteurized), and straight from the cow. That last one is a bit hard to find. Most milk is separated into skim and cream and then reblended to about 3.5% butterfat for whole milk. Some farmers (mostly Amish around here) sell milk directly from the cooler with no separation or processing. Quality varies but is has those that prefer it.
If you can find low temperature pasteurized, get that. It was the original process invented by Pasteur. The milk is heated to about 140 degrees and held there for 30 minutes or more. It is then flash cooled to just above freezing. It is a slow process for batch processing. Most commercial store milk is heated to over 180 degrees for a short time and flash cooled called HHST, higher heat shorter time. It can be done in a continuous process. UHT is heated to almost 300 degrees under pressure for a couple of seconds and flash cooled. The UHT is shelf stable without refrigeration. The variable that mostly affects taste is the temperature. Milk that is chilled immediately after milking and never being heated tastes the best, but the organisms may be dangerous. If you must have pasteurized, low temperature is better.
In addition, commercial operations are almost exclusively Holstein. Holstein’s are prolific producers often producing over 25,000 pounds of milk per year per cow. That is almost 3000 gallons per year, but they do not produce all year. It depends on the cow, but most will produce for 10 months a year with a “dry” time to allow the udder to rest before the next calf and restarting lactation. A cow will often produce 400,000-500,000 pounds or more of milk in a lifetime.
Jersey and Guernsey cows produce richer milk and are often the choice of farmers in the specialty markets. These cows produce milk higher in butterfat, solids, milk sugar and other nutrients. These cows may produce milk as high as 5.5% butterfat while Holsteins are usually closer to 3.5%.
Bottom line, find a producer that uses Jersey or Guernsey, low temp pasteurized, and not homogenized. Expect to pay a premium of about triple commercial, high volume processed milk.
Living in the wilds of Alaska it’s not like I have a choice of which dairy cow I prefer, though I do appreciate the information . That’s the reason why my pantry is well stocked with shelf stable whole milk and cases upon cases of canned and powdered milk.
It is for situations like yours that UHT pasteurization was developed.
Very insighful, folks. Re-read.
Thank you for posting this informative information!
I’m content they passed the hair discrimination law. This “inflation” thing is fake news anyway. What, are the repubs claiming the illegals coming in by the millions are bringing it or something? And what about Ukraine? DEMOCRACY IS AT STAKE in a backward eastern country that until a week ago was a dictatorship. And they’re only Nazi-adjacent, not the real bad ones your pappy fought. And can you believe the right wants us to stop wearing masks as we sit by ourselves, in a convertible, cruising 80mph in a windstorm? You haven’t even had your booster – must be a traitor or something. And those Whitmer kidnappers aren’t even on trial anymore. How’d they pay off the jury? What we really need now are some more of those “firey but peaceful” protests to kick start the economy again.
the best question I have seen NEVER answered by the Dimm/commies is “If illegal immigrants are so good for the economy, why is it their own economies are so bad?”
Unfortunately, Putin gave them an excuse for inflation and every Dem and many Republican voters believe this lie.
There are so many crises that give the Uniparty cover that you start believing that the crises are planned.
Nah….couldn’t be. Purely coincidental!
/s
I wonder how long she’s been negotiating with MSNBC.
IMO She’ll fit right in over there.
“We expect March CPI headline inflation to be extraordinarily elevated due to Putin’s price hike.” —White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
I wondered why eggs are selling for twenty-five cents apiece. Through some mysterious agency, Vladimir Putin put a floor price on them.
Sick to death of their lies, and sick to death of the brain-dead morons who believe them!
Doesn’t it feel like these Washington scum bags just want to punish the working class? How can so many black working class citizens continue to vote for these hateful people? If you are are working class American citizen and you’re voting Democrat, you’re cutting your own damn throat. STOP IT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
Normally I offer betting odds on who/what gets blamed, but in this case I won’t bother.
It will be Putin.
“Put the blame on Putin, boys, put the blame on Putin!”
Sure could be material for a song, I tell ya!
Taking action to get ahead of the inflation blues, Kroger Co. is launching a new business aimed at independent restaurant operators in Dallas Texas. Kroger Restaurant Supply will offer an alternative option to ordering large quantities and can deliver seven days a week. Kroger Restaurant Supply offers wholesale pricing by the case or unit benefiting small restaurants , bakeries and catering businesses. Kudos to Kroger for recognizing how important small and medium-size businesses are to our economy.
Kroger is also growing its online business by expanding non food products offered by collaborating with Bed Bath and Beyond.
Diversifying is crucial to surviving in this crazy environment. Expand your business model and help small and medium size business.
That’s a win-win.

Warns!? Id expect the Biden admin would be cheering!
Have to wonder how someone like this justifies being a role model for her children – not to mention conspiring in the harming and killing of her nation’s children.
We’re all poorer with ChiCom Joe illegally occupying the White House about to get a lot poorer!!!
Well they’re right, for once, but I don’t see how anybody can stand to watch those vile media rats.
Here’s the headline about the introduction of the terms: Core and Headline inflation:
‘Orange hair lousy liar WH spokeswoman lies lousily at a press conference to persuade low info credulous leftist morons that the Biden Administration isn’t at fault for ruining the country within a year and a quarter.’
the effects of sanctions by both EU/Germany and the USG are largely responsible for oil and gas prices. There is no question about this fact.
But..and it IS very important to understand the backdrop. Leading up to the Russian move, it was clear that the rest of the world oil giants could not compete with Russia with it’s ENORMOUS oil and gas supply at rates that are literally inparallelled in the last 30 years. So from a economic and geopolitical pov, there was never a situation where US (or any other western oil supplier) could ever compete in both cost of production and transmodal transportation of the energy to the world.
Russia was always going to be the supreme oil and gas oil supplier, simply because it could do it cheaper, faster and with far fewer regulatory and political friction.
In order for the US oil production suppliers to compete would require them to operate profitable at the 40-50 $USG per barrel range. That has not happened since 1997-2001! Now that could be corrected, but it would mean that OIL executives, shareholders, strategic energy policies and dark fund managers (globally) would WANT to go back in time. The reality is that they would never do this. It is actually more profitable to essentially shut down oil and gas production in the US and broadly across all western stakes in gas and oil fields and begin new and enhanced investments into Russian oil and gas. And that is exactly what they have done.
We noted this when the US (during the Trump administration) observed Russia and Saudi Arabia alliance to dump cheap oil (far below market value at a loss) and the US Oil industry response was to tuck its tail and demobilize any growth and investment into domestic oil production.
So Biden and his grifters are just the latest corruptors who did not and never did have the US citizens and national economic security as its first priority.
It was about money.
Russia supremacy was made possible for many reasons, but in sum it was a bottom line decision that if you can not beat them, join them scenario.
Anyone have any doubts why the gas and oil pipelines were shut down needs to understand why the Oil execs did little to nothing to defend against it. That was the first and most important fact …the dog that didn’t bark.
We can easily see why the green deal was used as a front for political reasons….But the reality is that oil and gas still floats the worlds economy….and that oil and gas execs simply redirected their resources and efforts to Russia to continue to make it happen.
God Bless America
“We expect March CPI headline inflation to be extraordinarily elevated due to Emmanuel Goldstein’s price hike,”—
White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
FIFY, sweetheart!
What is so ridiculous about even caring what the White House has to say is, that most of us gauge inflation by our actual costs. If gas doubles, then inflation is at 100%, right? If a loaf of bread goes from $1.00 to $1.50, that’s 50% inflation, right? If milk, and eggs, increase by 25% that’s 25% inflation. I, a humble person of no great means, average it out:
100% +
50% +
25%
= 175%
Divided by 3
= 58.33% <<<< this is my inflation.
And they will make fun of me for my simplicity. Americans know what’s really going on here. No amount of blabbering from the White House podium is going to make a difference and it has nothing to do with Putin. Just imagine your country being run by people who would rather start WWIII rather than just ‘fessing up to their mistakes and making things right.
