Appearing on Fox Business with Stuart Varney (Friday, 3/4/22), retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor provides a different take on the current situation in Ukraine; a perspective that takes a more pragmatic and realistic view of the situation. Putin appears to be successfully working through a methodical plan and strategy, despite western media trying to frame the great Ukrainian resistance effort.
As noted by Macgregor, there’s nothing heroic about Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sticking to the pro-NATO position within the Ukraine Russia conflict. A more pragmatic approach would be for Ukraine to declare itself neutral in the geopolitical contest between NATO and Russia thereby diffusing the issue that motivates the conflict. WATCH:
It appears all of the western interests, specifically the billions of dollars flowing into Ukraine from U.S. and western sources, are the driving factor in Zelenskyy’s decision making. The Ukraine President held a zoom conference with the U.S. Senate today and received more assurances of money and arms to keep up the battle. The U.S. is going to frame this as a multi-year-long insurgency battle if Vladimir Putin succeeds.

The war is anything but organic. Instead, it’s the crescendo of the NWO dialectic as it will manifest gargantuan systemic problems demanding systemic foundational solutions.
The war will destroy supply chains even further than they already are, wreaking absolute havoc. Currencies – already on their last legs – will be deliberately hyper-inflated away all over the globe in order to pay for it. Etc.

Macgregor is the real deal. Not a fan of VDH. I find his segments on Fox to be tedious. I can’t seem to maintain a train of thought and is all over the place. I wish Tucker would stop brining VDH on (Tucker is the only show on Fox I watch).
I was a COIN troop in Afghanistan… it wasn’t technically a fraud. It was the new (in this era), shiny thing that some commanders saw as a resume fluffer. My unit did good work. Some of what we taught/shared with the local farmers continued after we left and helped them feed their families better.
Then again, maybe they’re all dead now. It has been 12 years…

That actual point of it was for us to train AFG gov’t ‘extension agents’ so they could train farmers. The hope was that the locals would see their gov’t actually trying to help them and pull the locals away from Terry Taliban. At the least, it helped re-train some farmers and helped out the local university.

I suspected that the targeting of ethnic Russians in the east and south of the Ukraine would become backed by the US. Putin will take Odesa and in so doing will turn the Ukraine into a land locked country. The result will change political and economic dynamics in Europe substantially. He will have the EU over a barrel. Zellenskyy is being used by the US for political ideological and financial reasons. He strikes me as a foolish man but he must know he’s being used by now?

Zelinskyy will not go neutral and at the same time he is ridiculing the West for not coming to his aid and firing upon Russian troops which will cause World War 3.
Why the ridicule? Why is Zelenskyy so positive that the West must come to his aid? His country is not allied with United States. His country is not a member of NATO. His country is not a member of the EU. So why does he feel this obligation to save his a

What has he been promised in the past? What bribes have been paid to Joe Biden and other US Congressman by Ukraine for a guarantee of assistance? Why would Western Nations intentionally destroy their economies over Ukraine when all serious analysts know it already is lost to Russia???
Why would the West continue this charade when they know…they know…Russia’s goal is a neutral Ukraine???
