WASHINGTON DC – Multiple media organizations are reporting that Ukraine and Russia will hold peace talks on the border of Ukraine and Belarus.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed to Sky News that the two sides would hold the talks on the border of Ukraine and Belarus, where some of the Russian troops invading his country had been held.
Zelensky had refused to agree to an earlier request for talks in Belarus, arguing it was not neutral territory.

Several cities including the capitol of Kyiv have been bombarded by Russia, and there has additionally been fighting in the streets.

Our church has two missionary families to Ukraine. Both were told a few weeks ago to leave or the U.S. would not be able to protect them when/if trouble were to come. Both decided to stay for the sake of the Gospel and for their brothers and sisters in Christ.
One family is a few miles south of Kyiv. Their church has an underground parking garage that it now being used as a bomb shelter, and is housing not only all members of the church, but 14 other people from the neighborhood. They hear and feel the bombs going off, but they have all remained safe by God’s good mercy.
From those truth tellers just south of ground zero they know the war is real.
As far as who made that war “real,” and for what nefarious purposes they made that war real, that is another question.

Our pastor spoke of our missionaries — people we know — people whose love for the Lord is far greater than any lies someone would want them to push for propaganda reasons.
Maybe, just maybe, the “coincidence” has to do with today being Sunday — the Lord’s day — the day those saved by the Lord Jesus gather together to hear His word, and pray for their brothers and sisters in need, both close to home and far from home.

When Pres Trump was running for President the first time many members of the church we use to belong to ( but left behind) did not like Donald Trump because “his wife was a porn star”.
This incorrect information had been passed around to the hundreds of thousands of members who believed it hook line and sinker far too easily for what ever reason.

This former church and it’s member’s were too much into the group think aspect of life and we left.

You are making two mistakes in your analysis, both of which stem from fundamentally decent old school values.

Rules and laws don’t matter to our corrupt internationalist ruling class. If a Ukrainian government signaled that they would accept the offer (and cash the accompanying checks), then corrupt NATO would extend it irrespective of any ‘rules’. That’s what fig leaf waivers are for.
There is no rule of law anymore. There certainly isn’t rule of rules. There is only power. It’s not what anyone decent wants, but it is the ugly reality that exists.

You are making the assumption that the globalist faction which dominates NATO is not willing to go to war to destroy the Russian Federation. They would prefer to win in a color revolution, but everybody is on to that now. The globalists have certainly been willing to risk a war, but they wanted it only after they had properly preconditioned the battlefield in their favor. Their timetable is now in tatters.
It has been standard Russian strategic doctrine since the end of World War 2 that if they determine that war is inevitable and cannot be avoided, they will strike first. This is their nuclear doctrine as well. The Russians have this because they suffered at least TWENTY MILLION DEAD during WW2 and saw Russia utterly devastated. Their doctrine can be summarized by saying “if we have to go war, then it will be fought on SOMEONE ELSE’S soil, not on ours.”
I wonder how long ago they made their war determination and have been waiting for the best time.
