The Biden payment to Pfizer is for $5.3 billion {link}. At 10 million courses that equals $530 per treatment.
Laughably, the White House says “pending FDA approval“, as if the FDA would not approve the Pfizer pill.
Pretending not to know things, just two days ago the White House Press Secretary said this:
Keep in mind the U.S. taxpayer fully subsidized the research and development for the entire spectrum of COVID-19 treatments and vaccines. The development cost the private pharmaceutical companies, in this example Pfizer, absolutely nothing.
We the taxpayers fund the COVID pill development through Pfizer, and then we the taxpayers purchase the final product from Pfizer; in this example for $5.3 billion. It’s a big money laundry. (Plus 10% for the big guy)
$5.3 billion nets 10 million treatments, or roughly $530.00 per treatment. At 30 pills per course each pill costs $17.67

I have not been able to find a patent on Paxlovid. Has anyone else been able to find its patent, otherwise I have to assume that they are producing a pill without any patents at all.

Another protease inhibitor drug. They were introduced c. mid-90’s to treat “HIV” and replaced, or supplemented, the nucleoside analogs like AZT which were killing too many people too quickly. Not that they cared, it was just bad optics. The 1994 joint British/French “Concorde” study of AZT’s effectiveness concluded that the AZT-treated cohort had a 25 percent HIGHER mortality than the placebo group. So they came up with PI’s that offered no benefit whatsoever (it makes no sense to prescribe “antiviral” medication to treat a virus that doesn’t exist) but simply took longer to kill people. Although promoted as “life-saving”, all of them listed the unfortunate side effect of “sudden death”. Seems like a contradiction but what do I know. “Hepatitis C” followed the same game plan. The initial treatments were hyper-toxic, like infragen and ribavarin (another nucleoside analog) and people undergoing this benevolent therapy were easy to spot – they looked like walking corpses. And of course the “doctors” blamed the non-existent Hep C virus. Then they switched to protease inhibitors which were marginally less toxic but equally worthless. They still have ubiquitous adverts for them -“I left my Hep C behind!” But when they first came out they were wicked expensive. Harvoni (the pharma creatures must labor long and hard to come up with stupid names for their toxins) was going for 9000 dollars a pill (!) here in MA, paid for by the Benevolent State (MassHealth, aka Romney Care, the template for HusseinCare). Hep C, for what it’s worth, is a consequence of IV drug abuse, not a virus. In my work it was very common for clients to tell me they were “Hep C positive”. I’d say, Oh, so you have a history of IV drug abuse. Them: How did you know that? So..now another worthless “COVID” drug. And ten percent for the Big Guy

They “work” to prevent retroviruses from binding to cell surface receptors cells but that is irrelevant because retroviruses aren’t infectious pathogens. Probably all of them (RV’s) are endogenous, encoded in the human genome by the dozens. They serve specific purposes of chromosome repair and transmitting genetic information between cells. Human Endogenous Retroviruses (HERV’s) are expressed in conditions of severe oxidative stress. “HIV” for instance is a RV (Like “COVID -19”) and it is expressed under the oxidative stress of “AIDS” which is a consequence of drug abuse, severe malnutrition, repeated venereal infections, and many other non-contagious risk factors, especially “antiviral” drugs. They cause AIDS. So in that context “AIDS” causes “HIV”. They reverse cause and effect. PI’s are also extremely liver toxic. By 2000, after the PI’s had been in use for a few years, the leading cause of death in AIDS patients was end stage liver failure. The “experts” like Fauci wondered why. More research is needed. Incidentally the nucleoside analogs like AZT also work very well as DNA chain terminators. But it has a very poor therapeutic index; for every “infected” cell that it kills, it kills 10K healthy cells. Hence it is called “incompatible with life”. But still I believe the most widely prescribed “AIDS drug” ( usually in combination with one or more PI’s) in the world, deemed safe and effective by the FDA even for pregnant woman and newborn babies. That’s why I often stay away from doctors. They are going to kill us all
10 million treatments in a country of 330 million citizens. Sounds like a typical marketing ploy to break things down the lowest common denominator to make it seem affordable. DO THE MATH on treating the entire population.
