Perhaps it’s because we have been discussing this moment for over a decade; or perhaps it’s because we’ve already chosen our tribe amid this league of crazy; or perhaps it’s just because we don’t like ‘them’ in the first place; but whatever it is, this announcement today by the White House to cleave society into vaxxed -vs- non-vaxxed status is actually a little funny. Good luck with it.

The White House claims that 80 million Americans are unvaccinated, and we are now the enemy of the state. OK, whatever. When you get all done with the teeth gnashing part, I’m still unvaxxed. And if I’m no longer permitted to engage in a social construct that I have been studiously avoiding for the past few decades, well, meh…. a’right then, punish me by barring me from living life amid the Federal Moonbats. The federal compliance and enforcement part of the mandated worker vaccination will be fun to watch.
I have serious doubts that only 80 million Americans are unvaccinated, but fair enough; if that’s your number, okay then. However, consider this…. Assuming we are the minority group, the non-vaxxed crew breaks down into two broad segments: (1) The extremely well-educated who carry commonsense and are in a social strata where they remain quiet about it; and (2) The skeptical productive class of similarly disposed commonsense blue-collar workers who are the backbone of American productivity.
The comfortable existence for the rest of “polite society” is dependent on the scruffneck working class, the dirty fingernail folk who know what Lava soap feels like, and the industrious service sector workforce who fulfill the needs of those who hold out their pinky fingers when they drink from a glass.
If this non-vaccinated ‘minority group’ stops fulfilling the needs of the vaccinated ‘betters’, guess what happens?
Additionally, if the non-vaccinated minority begin following the COVID rules with extreme compliance, the entire system doesn’t function. Whoops, I cannot enter a federal property because I am not vaccinated {{{shrugs shoulders}}}. Okay, I’ll leave the pizzas on the sidewalk, enjoy.
The ramifications of extreme compliance are very far-reaching, and we are snarky enough in our skills as non-vaccinated insurgents to know exactly how to best play the role of being as stupid as you say we are. Oh damn, did I forget to tighten that oil filter… sheesh, whoops. If only I was as smart as one of you vaccinated types these mistakes wouldn’t happen.
It is likely the elitist goal of the crew behind Biden to cleave society thereby destroying it. However, if there’s something I know about this crew – it’s how their hubris is their blindspot.
They can never think clearly through the details of their dictates because they have never operated/lived in the place where the outcomes of those dictates surface. They make rules that are never implemented within their own tribe; this fact makes them extremely vulnerable.
Cleaving society ain’t necessarily a bad thing when my tribe wants nothing to do with you in the first place.
When the SHTF (sh!t hits the fan), these ruling elite types, and those who look down their noses at the unwashed WalMart shoppers, are the first culled by natural selection because they cannot function in a world where their basic needs are not serviced by others.
Stuff yourself into a box filled with like-minded vaccinated intellectuals filled with artificial airs-and-graces; meanwhile me and my tribe, who can clean up well and hold discussion in the snob-set but choose not to, will be having a grand time laughing and enjoying fellowship on the tailgate of a pickup truck.
The laughter and fun is always on the freedom side, our side of the aisle. The totalitarian mind that needs to control people is a life of misery; and it’s an endless quest to fill a void that we simply don’t have.
Block my tribe out of your social or economic system because we refuse to put untested secret chemicals in our veins, and it ain’t us that’s losing – just sayin’. We know how to adapt, survive and create another parallel economy that will work just fine. We can live without them; however, they cannot live without our assistance – and that’s the stark reality of it.

I had to do annual compliance training this week. I work in a mental health facility so we have to be very careful of HIPPA and other similar laws. Interesting to note these new mandates will force employers to violate ADA and HIPAA. Those violations also carry stiff fines.
Many people have been required to list vaccination status in order to keep their jobs – also a HIPAA violation. But nobody’s there to enforce HIPAA.

It’s may not be successful…but it MAY get your business leadership and owners to begin thinking hard about how to process their policies with hard science and some kind of fair reasons to support them.

Is that antigen test likely to test positive if you had the covid a year ago?
From what I’ve read, it’s the ‘antibody’ test (a fingerprick blood sample) that’s the only test that’ll do that
And what I’ve read about how long the antibodies stay in your system, the language is “possibly months”, I haven’t seen any time frames mentioned on the order of a year or year-and-a-half
One thing I HAVE read about the antigen test is that it comes up with a large percentage of false negatives
… which is cool if you’re trying to present a negative test result for entry or where a negative result is required for your workplace, etc

Just a quick reply before I hit the sack – after a lengthy discussion about this with my doctor, these tests don’t hold much value. They’re only good for maybe 3 months after infection, notoriously inaccurate, and don’t distinguish between variants (which means it’s a pointless and never-ending game). I am fortunate to have a Dr. and staff I can trust.
Consider varicella (chicken pox): You had a good spotty case as a young child. If you need to prove your “vaccination status,” you present a titer. The titer is accepted as a verifiable level of immunity against varicella for as long as it remains positive. In my case, it has lasted for near 50 years.
The titer is the antibody test.
But, it appears that the weirdoes are claiming the antibodies aren’t good enough anymore. They only trust the vaccine…
the ELISE antigen test is regarded as the gold standard for two things:
labcorp and abbot both offer the elise…I am not certain all health insurance covers the cost, but worth asking your primary doc. If not, it’s 200 bones. I paid for my own because the local health community here in SWLA did not have the capacity and I found they were out sourcing it to an out of state contractor….and frankly I just didn’t trust the health system here to select the specific elize test..after all, my health record was known by my physician (bias involved) and I have never been jabbed. So I went the route of anonymous through labcorp direct in texas, beaumont.
I think there were some issues with specificity in the antigen but that is not related to the very specific elisa typed test. It’s so sensitive it will trial difference between no just c19 spike immune response but also differentiate sars2003 spike protein immune response. That’ pretty precise. Hard to get a false positive also because there are two blood draws…run through difference devices. It’s pretty thorough.
This isn’t like getting an antigen report by donating blood. Some people have talked about getting the results that way…The blood donor route involves THE LEAST SPECIFIC antigen test. And you can imagine WHY the red cross CHOSE that route. Yes, it staggering how much corruption has been developed to hide the reality that naturally occuring immune response to covid is not just a real thing, but is preferred over the jab, is very long lasting..and of course, there are no safety concerns about your own bodies ability to ward off “side effects/deficits”
as far as how long naturally occuring antigens remain viable in the human body…it is not with precision we can know this for c19…c19 is a engineered bioweapon that has rapidly mutated in record time in a real pandemic spread.
But we can draw from some prior experiences that is helpful to get some anecdotal estimates.
recall above, I mentioned the antigen test. Well, in order to describe what was discovered in early 2020, I”l have to change gears a bit and mention RT PCR tests (different kind of test, bear with me..it will all make sense after I repeat this discussion I wrote about last year when I investigated it fully).
in early 2020, WHO and US health orgs and drug companies scrambled coddled together a RT PCR test that they could use to test for c19..remember this thing was novel..so there wasn’t a test in the ready sitting on a shelf. They had to rapidly produce a test and get it our in the field…
what they did was use the “old” sars2003 rt pcr. Why..it actually was already developed..had been used before…and the SAR2003 and C19 spike protein have a very high similarity in genomic sequence. So that’s what they used.
and bang…in places where C19 was not even infecting people (vietnam at the time…cambodia…some parts of indonesia and south korea and some islands in japan…all positive..and I mean all positive.
so then they did an antigen test, also newly rushed in to be specific for c19..and again…HIT POSITIVE for every single test with few exceptions.!!!
how could this be..for regions and populations that were not reporting clinical hospitilizations of c19 patients?
you see…what they were seeing wasn’t c19..it was actually the presents (leftovers) of sars2003 still in circulation among a large diverse broad set of populations AND those same people were testing a high immune response still active. 19 years after SARS2003 began..the virus is still making the rounds, but people are not getting sick from it..because it is NOT LONGER NOVEL..the human response is long lived and very durable.
given sars 2003 and c19 are about 90 percent identical in genomic sequence..given they are both bat base corona type…we are inclined to acknowledge that those that are exposed to c19 will have equally long lived immune responses…
and btw..there was NEVER a vaccine for sars2003..people kind of forget about that. The immunity acquired happened just as it did similarly with spainish flu…the spainish flu was pressured by human immine response to select low lethality but conserved transmission…alas, the modern flu is the distant cousin of the sp flu! fact.
I am not insinuating that c19 is the near cousin of sars2o03 okay..I am saying that sars 2003 is more like the sp flu….shunted by human immune response, no vax required!
whereas the c19 virus has been engineered to take on some characteristics of sp flu (global long incubation in the first wave), with the option of dealing with a poor error checking mechanism like sars 2003 RNA type guranteeing that with the “right” vax to pressure it to mutate, it will…and likely to a path that is more lethal and not less but still conserving the high transmission capability.
the recipe for BOTH rt pcr to be specific for c19 (and not get triggeed by the sars2003 “relative, relative in name only…not really in the same family at all), and also the elize antigen test for c19 specific.
it was THEN, around june, that the retooled tests in both cases could differentiate between sars2003 (still in circulation for 19 years) and the new c19 novel virus…in both virus test and antigen test.
it’s not coincidence that this was the period of time that allowed the two mini “miracle” phase 3 studies could be performed either. Now that they had the right specific tests for c19 and c19 only, they could proceed with a proper double blind and control without worrying the test methods were going to be garbage out. Sadly, this was bout the last moment where there was any effort placed in the science block to get the data. Spiking the control was not just idiotic. It really is criminal ..the consequences of which literally means there is nothing about those two studies that can be trusted. None of those studies have any meaning whatsover.
this is part of the reason why this administration can’t call the drug scientists up and have them do a family hour on tv. Or invite them to do the tv program road show.
the secret everyone knows is that there was no phase 3…there as an half assed attempt but when it mattered the most, they spiked the ball and threw the game.
Anyway…sorry…got long in the tooth.
bottom line is that the elize antigen test is legit. It isn’t the most precise way to determine the entire data points about immune acquired status…but it’s the only way for us to get insights into that question…unless you have a spare million dollars and want to volunteer to have your blood drawn and then a very complex molecular lab study involving some very labor and time intensive and resources expensive gear. And to note..hold on to that c note. Nobody is going to be taking money ..not from an unvaccinated person…
why would they.
big pharma OWNS these kinds of technologies..they own them, because they developed them and hold all patent and license.

Just had an interesting conversation with my adult son. He has made the decision to not take the vaccine.
He believes that this coming flu season we will see a massive amount of death. Mostly among those of us who are vaccinated.

Under Title VII, how should an employer respond to an employee who communicates that he or she is unable to be vaccinated for COVID-19 (or provide documentation or other confirmation of vaccination) because of a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance? Once an employer is on notice that an employee’s sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance prevents the employee from getting a COVID-19 vaccine, the employer must provide a reasonable accommodation unless it would pose an undue hardship. Employers also may receive religious accommodation requests from individuals who wish to wait until an alternative version or specific brand of COVID-19 vaccine is available to the employee. Such requests should be processed according to the same standards that apply to other accommodation requests.
EEOC guidance explains that the definition of religion is broad and protects beliefs, practices, and observances with which the employer may be unfamiliar. Therefore, the employer should ordinarily assume that an employee’s request for religious accommodation is based on a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance. However, if an employee requests a religious accommodation, and an employer is aware of facts that provide an objective basis for questioning either the religious nature or the sincerity of a particular belief, practice, or observance, the employer would be justified in requesting additional supporting information. Under Title VII, an employer should thoroughly consider all possible reasonable accommodations, including telework and reassignment. For suggestions about types of reasonable accommodation for unvaccinated employees, see question and answer K.6., above. In many circumstances, it may be possible to accommodate those seeking reasonable accommodations for their religious beliefs, practices, or observances.
Under Title VII, courts define “undue hardship” as having more than minimal cost or burden on the employer. This is an easier standard for employers to meet than the ADA’s undue hardship standard, which applies to requests for accommodations due to a disability. Considerations relevant to undue hardship can include, among other things, the proportion of employees in the workplace who already are partially or fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the extent of employee contact with non-employees, whose vaccination status could be unknown or who may be ineligible for the vaccine. Ultimately, if an employee cannot be accommodated, employers should determine if any other rights apply under the EEO laws or other federal, state, and local authorities before taking adverse employment action against an unvaccinated employee.

fella I do work with, genuinely good guy all around: I just got the vax. I didn’t want to, but my wife said we should do it because a few of our friends got sick and two of them died…
so we prayed. He was haunted by the death of his friends.
he asked me: did you get vaccinated?
me: nope..the vax scares me more than the covid illness that I recovered from a couple weeks back.
him: really? you got it? how did you manage to get well?
me: well…it’s pretty simple…I’m in very good health…I eat right all the time. I don’t drink alcohol or do drugs. I self medicated with vitamin c, vitamin d and three days of ivermectin…and eat about 20 zinc candies…and drank a ton of water and made some really good smoked chicken soup I put in the freezer some months ago…and got a full 8 hours of sleep and walked around the woods at o dark hundred when I was congested…twice when it was raining.
him: yeah …my two friends were really overweight and were indoors types.
me: did they get vaxed?
him: yup, the whole two jabs.
me: but you are in fantastic shape…in your early 30’s…and your kids are like what…4 and 6?
him: yeah, I know…but my wife was worried.
me: I get it. Fear is pretty powerful stuff.
him: yeah..it’s all over the tv..everybody is talking about it.
me: anybody talk about good healthy living and doing some preventative health choices?
him: I think people are just thinking of taking the magic pill.
me: do you really think such a thing can actually exist?
him: no…but what’s the risk of trying?
this is the delimna I am sure most people have…
it is a difficult situation for lots of people. It can be overwhelming. So getting the jab becomes taking the magic pill.
the crux seems to be there is not downside.
I didn’t go into the nature of mRNA…I wish I had the opportunity to talk to him before he did get jabbed.
I feel there is a certain about of responsibility I have about this subject matter. I will always respect a informed decision and the choices made based on them.
By opinion is that lots of people just are not properly informed about the virus and more importantly the mRNA “vax”.
I also realize it’s one of this situations where there is not a easy way to navigate someone into an informed discussion, after they have already taken the leap.
The way I left the conversation is how I was raised and taught to handle these kinds of situations:
me: brother..if there is anything I can do to help you….you know you can count on me. We can pray about it right now if you would like. I would like to pray with you.
so we did.
and it makes a difference.
