European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde has announced her resignation from the ECB effective February 7, 2027. [X-Platform] Her departure is nine months earlier than the natural conclusion of her term.
Lagarde is a French national, and stated her decision was about leaving the ECB as President so that she could engage in political speech, which is an interesting justification considering the current state of Germany and France and the very consequential elections upcoming.
However, as a consequence of prior research, from my position I would note that she’s exiting the position of ECB President is something else entirely. She intends to fail-up, very lucratively, and if our research is accurate, she will likely be the next Chair of the World Economic Forum.
As readers are well aware, Europe is on the cusp of an irreversible economic downward spiral. Low growth, high inflation, and the entire continent is crippled by short-sighted energy policy and subsequent deindustrialization that is creating significant debt burdens. In short, the EU is contracting.
The #1 issue that makes the downward spiral irreversible is their entrenched advocacy for the net zero ‘climate change’ agenda, which is now triggering carbon taxes and various carbon border adjustment mechanisms on trade. Their energy policy is killing their industrial capacity, and the overall European Union is in a self-fulfilling crisis.
On top of the economic mess is the ever-worsening mass migration problem that will eventually topple several key European capitals.
Lagarde, looking every bit the part of a Bond villain, is bailing out of the central bank at the moment right before things begin escalating horribly. I am almost certain she will take up the position as Chair of the WEF in an effort to inoculate herself from the political chaos that is about to surface. The rise of the nationalists in the upcoming elections is a symptom of the problem Brussels has created.

It’s a man!
another one!
This is when you have to call in another Winston Churchill.
Churchill saw everything coming for years (even operated a shadow government).
But they’ll have to do it, and he’ll be a white guy.
With an outrageous accenta’!
Bond villain indeed.
Vile, evil woman. She knows the economic picture in Europe is sliding into the abyss so she’s bailing.
Why not looking for the french presidential elections? In a bargain with Macron?
Earlier today there was a photo of white bandages on her face as if she lost a knife fight. BTW just where is Hillary?
Treadmill accident?
Exercise bands?

2nd Rule of WEF, Don’t talk about specific insider plans.
She said she had just had some skin cancers removed.
People like Christine Lagarde seem to get promoted each time they fail.
What is going to be her next lucrative job?
Always.
See Mark Rutte once Netherlands PM, now NATO Chief.
See Mark Carney, if installed Canadian PM from his former position as Governor of the Bank of England is “up”.
Maybe ” sideways “…
Then it is to hoped eventually down, down, down.

Yep… Definitely a Bond villain archetype.
Wicked witch from the east!
She looks kind of butchey
It’s a Photoshop job done on an old photo of Klaus Schwab in case anyone had not noticed.
Still though… The saying is the new boss is the same as the old boss.
Yes, that is what made me laugh out loud at your post! And thanks for the laugh! 🤣
“Luke, I am your father…”
The Lizard Queen
She looks significantly older than 70 in the photos released today…why can’t these people just retire and enjoy themselves? Maybe spend their “golden years” with family, or traveling, or taking up a nice little hobby…they just cannot let go of the reins of power until they are finally pried out their cold, dead hands! It’s sick and it’s sad but I guess when you have no hope of anything good in the afterlife you must keep grasping for anything you can in this one!
And trying to take us with them!
I think it is akin to trying to get out of the mafia!
Arsonist escaping the burning building and then pointing at the wreckage and saying it wasn’t me.
so who allows her to “take up the position” as chair of the WEF?
as a massive failure in her current position, apparently that doesnt matter to…?
appointed? elected?
does klauss schwabb et.al. not care that she will fail-up?
I mean, they all suck, excuse my language, but for heaven’s sake, I cannot grasp that they all believe in their net-zero bullcrap.
“as a massive failure in her current position, apparently that doesnt matter to…?”
We get surprised when people are promoted for failing. But all that really means is we are using the wrong definition of failure/success.
She was a failure only judging by a normal European person’s standard. But to the elitists she was probably wildly successful.
That outfit is something. What was that movie series? Not start trek.lol
Queen Rat leaving the Titanic!!!!
You know the ship is sinking when the rats that are very good at hiding start jumping into the water and swimming for shore. Rats are excellent swimmers, but only swim in dire emergencies. Like evading predators and European banking failures.
SD: This podcast from Bloomberg and your post yesterday collide. And now this news above.
One of the money quotes when asked about the cost of electricity in Europe and it causing de-industrialization/falling behind in the AI race, the interviewee replies:
“First of all, I wouldn’t overstate the additional cost. I think these are the types of costs that you cannot afford not to have. You will want to have reliable power. That is a critical precondition for an electrified society. I think what we need to do is really to stack it up against the alternative, which is continued dependence on supplies of fossil fuels from the outside that we have no control over and which, frankly, looks more and more difficult in the near and medium term. So we need to reinforce our system….”
It’s a half hour of Euro gobblygook. Not for the faint of heart, but is prima facie evidence of either 1) pure religious belief in the net zero agenda or 2) utter disconnect from reality.

Europe is well in to their death rattle and the reasons are numerous. The catalyst for final destruction is the moslem invasion and the subsequent stubborn refusal to counter it.
The US and our unofficial matriarchy is wedded to the left and shares the stubborn refusal to defend against the islamic onslaught. Bragging about nearing some fictitious tipping point, and spinning daydreams of storming the moslem mayor’s office in your town to rip the reins of power from his oily hands is only delaying your realizing we are in very serious trouble.
Moslems are in office, many are poised to add to their number and their blood=sworn allegiance is patently not to the US Constitution nor to its citizenry. No it isn’t and your anecdotes of warm, friendly, families of hard-working moslems in your neighborhood matter not one whit.
Trump was a disruptive anomaly, the right man at the right time and place but what is the depth of the bench? There are volumes of unfinished and un-started work to be addressed but the GOPe/Uniparty will be having none of that, thank you very much – why else has the SAFE Act been gathering dust?
When the financial bust happens and when the waiting moslem wave election wave is triggered, what will we do then, after it’s too late?
I wonder if the WEF will be the safe harbor that LaGarde hopes it will be. Perhaps not.
Will she flee to a safe harbor? The US?
Chilling stuff……
Being promoted to your level of incompetence is an all too frequent occurrence in both business and politics. Being promoted well beyond your level of incompetence seems to be a unique specialty of the EU.
So is Carney going to take her place?
In Atlas Shrugged, America was having to send food aid to Europe.
Don’t think we are far from that reality.
It’s us that are calling it failure, but when your goal was to destroy the place, she was very successful- which is why she’ll get put into yet another position to create more failure from another angle..
Europe is burning and a whole lot has been destroyed, her work is done there.
So think of her as a wrecking ball that just flattened the whole block, now they simply are moving her onto the next block to take that one down too.
She is another European central banker clinging to power.
Consider bankers and financial figures like Carney, Macron, Merz, Mitsotakis, Frieden, Frostadóttir, Spajić, Nausėda and Stubb, their financial backgrounds and WEF connections.
Trump is challenging the financial system they helped build, and we’re seeing financial power players move into political power to fight back.
So who is being installed at the IMF? Will Macron fail upward also?
She has contributed to Europe’s downfall as much as anyone
Golly, and she was doing such a swell job? /s
