U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio travelled to Rome, Italy, for discussions with the Pope and Prime Minister. Secretary Rubio holds a press conference following his diplomatic trip. The press questions cover the meeting with the Pope, foreign policy discussions and ongoing international relations between the United States, Italy and NATO allies.
Secretary Rubio notes President Trump is reevaluating current troop deployment throughout Europe and President Trump will make further decisions on troop levels based on a variety of factors. The previous “base denials” is one of the factors for decision-making. WATCH:

As a Canadian, I’ve never been so ashamed and despondent re my government and most of its citizenry. My only pleasure is to watch Canada and its over-confident and incompetent officials slowly crumble to the ground.

Marco Rubio has done an amazing job as Secretary of State and the seemingly endless number of other jobs he has been given.
Having said that, Secretary Rubio is not a natural born United States citizen.
He was born in Miami to parents who were both Cuban citizens. Mr. Rubio’s parents were both naturalized approximately 4 years after he was born.
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Mr. Rubio evolve from swamp creature to MAGA statesman, but the Constitution is clear. He doesn’t qualify for President.
That’s a shame, because I don’t trust JD Vance as far as I can throw him. He is the White Obama.
Rubio changed to become the best he can be. Thank goodness for that! I didn’t like him before, but am very proud of him now.
Would like to see him become President. If it was allowed for Hussain and possibly was gonna be ok for Ted Cruz then it should be ok’d for Marco Rubio.
I must read the Constitution carefully, as I thought a child born within the borders of the United States was a citizen. Thus, part of the debate regarding “anchor babies” when women come into the country illegally, who are not citizens of U.S., to give birth here. Were Sec. Read the 14th amendment, section one.
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.”
Many people conveniently ignore the, “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” phrase. If it were intended to be meaningless, it would not have been included.
One can understand the meaning of this phrase by doing a little bit of historical research. This month’s “Imprimus” newsletter is an article on this very subject.
Bottom line, illegals and vacationers are NOT “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” These people are citizens of another country and are subject to that country’s jurisdiction.
The Supreme Court has this matter on their desk. It will be interesting to see their opinion.

While I’m not sure he’d split the ticket per se, I think he’d have a fine chance to be the nominee.
I think Rubio was always the first choice over Vance. Rubio is a natural and speaks from knowing and leaves you feeling satisfied. It’s why he is trusted with so many jobs. Rubio seems more invested in his position (s) where Vance seems less confident in his own ability. Vance is too scripted and has to think too hard and then still leaves you guessing. In an emergency I would look to Rubio to keep a cool head.
They should team up and run together for President and VP. Just amusing myself but I do think they would be an amazing team.
