A generally good big-picture overview here from the folks at Promethean PAC.
“In this midweek update, Susan Kokinda argues that Kevin Warsh’s Senate Banking Committee testimony—calling for “regime change” at the Federal Reserve and blaming inflation on excessive money creation—signals a broader shift aligned with the Trump administration against what she describes as an Imperial, British-led free-trade order.
Kokinda highlights Warsh’s criticism of post-2008 quantitative easing as benefiting financial asset holders while many Americans own no assets, and contrasts this with Democrats’ focus on divestment issues. Kokinda ties Warsh’s stance to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s emphasis on raising living standards over bailing out markets and to Trump’s comments on Fed independence. She then points to Trump’s April 20 Defense Production Act action citing market failures in energy infrastructure, including transformer shortages, as national-security threats, linking this to energy independence and Iran, and contrasts it with Mark Carney’s globalist posture and references to the War of 1812.”

I like this guy.
Who?
Warsh.
I have been watching the Promethean Action ladies for a year almost. They are focused, they are right. Yes, there is more to the big picture than the City of London,,, but IMHO, upending those turds is for sure a part of the results of our Great President,, DJT.
Suck a rotten egg Canada, UCSMA must die.
We taxpayers in the US are tired of subsidizing your whole country.
It’s time you pay for your own defense and healthcare.
You won’t have any time left to look down your nose at us because you’ll have to get off your high horse and actually become productive for yourselves.
Canadian citizens better see through Carney’s BS pretty soon. If they don’t, that eunuch is going to lead their entire nation into a hole so deep they’ll never recover.
If Carney doesn’t back down I don’t think enough of Canadians will see through it and when the results of a new version or no version of the UCSMA without the “C” begin to sting, those same types will blame the US/Trump and not their own government.
Canada’s per capita GDP has been falling behind even most of the western European nations for some time and who do the supporters of the Carney government blame it on? Trump of course.
His toy Brock soldier is hilarious. Canada was British Colony until 1867. IOW Brock was defending a British colony, and during the War of 1812 Britain was invading a the United States, a nation.
Actually it was the US who tried to conquer Canada in that war. And it wasn’t the first attempted conquest, Montgomery and Arnold tried to take Canada back in 1775 and damn near succeeded (Montgomery took Montreal but died before the walls of Quebec City). There was also the squabble over the Pacific NW (54-40 or fight) and the Fenian invasion.
What the US did was attack a British colony after Britain made war on the US. Did the same during the war of Independence. Spread the fight out and deny the enemy secure bases from which they could launch operations against the 13 colonies in what would become the US.
For example, Gen. John Burgoyne led about 8,000 troops troops south from Canada to get his ass kicked at Saratoga by an inferior force lead by Gen. Horatio Gates. It was the turning point of the Revolutionary war and resulted in France allying with the revolutionaries and prompted Spain and the Netherlands to provide assistance to them.
One of the refineries that recently closed in California had a direct pipeline to a military base. It produced fuel for military aircraft. Gavin Newsom left the entire west coast vulnerable. I am certain these recent actions from the president were in large part to fix the west coast situation. The military will soon own the closed refineries.
