In a series of posts on Truth Social, President Trump has announced that a deconfliction deal with Iran has been agreed.
It appears the blockade was successful in finally convincing Iran they had very few options. Additionally, as we all well understand here, the blockade was halting oil shipments to China. It is very likely that Beijing was also putting pressure on Iran to reach a deal.

Actually no…..Irans navy is gone it can longer threaten shipping (as it has) , its airforce is gone, its missle arsenal is depleted, its military,religious and political leadership dead or terrified to try anything stupid, hezbollah/hamas/houthis have no benefactor any longer. There is a win win solution for everyone including Russia.
NATO declares that they are reorganizing into a EU department of defense and that EU countries will oversee it’s funding and operation.
Non EU countries that were members of NATO(US) will negotiate separate security agreements with the EU. The US is not allowed membership in EU so congress MUST vote to renegotiate security.
Non EU countries would be incentivized to join the EU for economic and security reasons.
Russia would no longer have the issue of NATO encroachment and would be more open to negotiation with an initially weaker EU military. The US would enter into a trilateral agreement with Russia and the EU, possibly ending the Ukraine war.
This would benefit the EU by bringing more countries into the group for economic reasons, the US would have it’s own agreement with the EU that is not bound by rules that favor the weakest countries, and a wide ranging new agreement would provide incentive that would be used to help settle longstanding issues between countries.
If NATO does not go along with PDJT’s offer of something that is a benefit to them, then the US will withdraw and NATO will crumble and quite possibly cause the EU to come apart. This would be an offer they can’t refuse and might actually make the EU stronger by having their own military defense that is focused on today rather than WWII. NATO would also not have to suffer the embarrassment of US withdrawal.
I’m curious to see how quickly prices at the pump reflect this good news.

Unless we can build light, sweet crude refineries in a week, we are stuck refining the heavy crude from Venezuela and that will take longer to reflect at the pump…
Oil prices are fear and speculation of future events, the strait opening will help them plummet back to where they were. But like Wyoming Treeper said, not as quickly as they went up.
They never go down as quickly as up.
But I bet by June prices will be where they were, more or less, in January.
