In the background Hungary is under a great deal of pressure from the European Union for Orban’s resistance to expanded conflict with Russia. The various left-wing European media claim that Prime Minister Orban is a friend to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the political/intelligence operations of Ukraine have aligned with the EU to target Viktor Orban for removal.

Was there last August and a beautiful clean city. Matter of fact, all of the post eastern block countries that we visited were very clean and friendly. Not what I expected at all.

The art museums in Budapest are filled with great art. There are many music venues including classical music concerts as well as operas. We saw Der Valkyrie at the Opera house and it was spectacular. Vienna, Prague and Budapest are must-visits and Budapest is very reasonably priced.
All of those countries and more which fell to hideous despotism in the 20th century, Nazism or Communism. And which were able to free themselves from wicked ideologies. Even in the long discredited Soviet Union, people clung to their cultural inheritances as their sustaining life blood. There are few times I would say I am envious. But this is one. Spectacular? And glorious…

We visited 2 weeks after the Russians pulled out. Even then it was beautiful, very run down as you would imagine but the people were incredibly friendly and so curious about Americans.
And beauty MUST be destroyed. Best way for the Evil EU to accomplish this is by ushering in a communist leader, 3rd world migrants and net zero policies.
Such an incredibly beautiful country and one of the few in Europe that I would actually like to visit someday! Orban has been a rock in his steadfast ADULT leadership and support for President Trump’s policies…if he is not reelected, the whole dynamic will shift, in a very dangerous direction.
I know many people have expressed doubts about JD Vance, and I understand, but I must say that I am quite impressed at how well both he, and Secretary Rubio, have stepped up into their roles. They support the President but they are also making their own mark on the world stage and it is such a refreshing change from the embarrassing clown show during the Biden/Obama years!

Writing from my experience only, Hungary IS NOT a part of EUROPE (Praise be) – it is a totally distinct country with its own culture so far intact.

Can’t predict the future about anything. But I know a few real people from Hungary and their parents who were/are very dear friends of mine. As far as I can ken, the Hungarian’s want to retain their culture, traditions, and will probably never want to be assimilated as a part of the European panti-waisters, anything goes culture.
