Secretary of State Marco Rubio is attending a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels. The timing puts Secretary Rubio in Europe just as NATO allies and European countries are reviewing the impact of the reciprocal tariffs levied against them by President Trump.

Secretary Rubio eloquently cuts through the nonsense, through the narrative engineering, and deliberately – with clarity – outlines the position of the Trump administration. However, As a Florida voter, I remember the Marco Rubio of his first campaign, and the one during his first session in the Senate. He swallowed the UniParty mindset, hook, line, and sinker. He has morphed more times than a molting snake.
It is because of who Rubio was, then was, became, and then became again, that I dislike him, and do not trust him one iota.
When I look at Rubio, I see no positive emotion. It is as though he does not enjoy what he is doing, at all.
He may prove to be excellent in this position, but the heavy sigh I heard in this clip and his constant solemn face raises questions in my mind.
I recall the first time he ran for potus and was part of the debate. He was animated, articulate, well versed in foreign affairs….I was initially impressed. Today he is very different and I expected a little joy at being part of re-ordering the global order to bring soveriegnty to all nations.

Note the mission creep on Ukraine. Trump promised to end the war immediately, which he can very easily do since we are one the two combatants. Now Rubio is saying that Trump promised to see whether the parties “are serious about wanting peace.” Huh?

Rubio and Trump have a lot to learn about Russia. Right now they are getting a ton of misinformation, a lot of it coming from sources who will benefit if the war keeps going.
Russia is not dragging its feet about ending the war. They just want the root causes to be addressed instead of glossed over.
