Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schroeder was very frustrated by the prosecution in the case against Kyle Rittenhouse today. The defendant took the stand in his own defense after the prosecution clearly failed to present their case. Even the prosecution’s own witnesses affirmed the accused was acting in self-defense.
A desperate prosecution appears to prefer a mistrial in lieu of a most likely acquittal, by attempting today to introduce evidence against the accused. Judge Schroeder was furious at the prosecution for refusing to adhere to pretrial rulings.
There have been many people wondering why Kyle Rittenhouse would want to take the stand in his own defense given the weakness of the prosecution case. However, for those who remember the trial of George Zimmerman, the motive of Rittenhouse is not that difficult to see.
The case against George Zimmerman was just as weak and politically motivated as the case against Rittenhouse. Zimmerman was acquitted by the jury quickly, in part because a self-defense case was so clear and in part because the prosecution case was maliciously constructed and fraught with lies.
Like Zimmerman, the Rittenhouse case was similarly constructed for media and political use. It is a political trial with no basis in truth to the pretrial narrative.
George Zimmerman never took the stand before he was found not guilty. As a result, there was no counter-narrative to push back against the false media construct. After the not guilty verdict, the media continued to say George Zimmerman was guilty. The reality of manipulated public opinion haunted Zimmerman after the acquittal, and continued to destroy his life after trial.
It appears Kyle Rittenhouse is testifying to use the time where public attention is upon the case to avoid the post trial fate that George Zimmerman encountered. And, I will add, it is working. In a substantive way, Rittenhouse sitting and taking all of the prosecution manipulation upon himself in a very visible open court is generating more public awareness that he was/is wrongfully prosecuted.
Watch for fake outrage riots when Rittenhouse is acquitted. Been a while since the thugs got their tv’s and liquor so it’s about time for them to go stock up again.
This whole episode is just a tragedy that would have never happened if the police were out there doing their jobs and the criminals were being rounded up for their own trials. We cannot allow the rule of law to be politicized because criminals do not benefit from the rule of law, if we want to stand a Republic upon the rule of law. This stuff is just too easy. Next subject.
Listening on Rekieta media, and they just made the same point about Zeminkski’s gun shot acting as a starter pistol to release Rosenbaum on Kyle.
And Zeminkski reported the gun he fired stolen the very next day????
This guy Zeminski is a FIB, either undercover or a CI.
I hope the defense calls him and nails him dead to rights on his actual FIB.
He’s on their witness list. They can call him.
Get him declared a hostile witness and cross examine him on any ties they might have found between Zeminski and the FIBs.
You don’t have to disclose cross exam evidence in discovery usually. Maybe the defense has something?
What’s worse is that the DA was either in on it or just helping out after the fact by not going after Zeminski for shooting a weapon in a populated area and felony murder for his role in instigating this and by stopping the collection of Grosskreutz’ phone.
I really hope we get someone MAGA to take over as mayor there and show these dirty cops the door.
Would love to check the phones of the individuals filming jurors with the plan of intimidating them. Think we might see some federal assets in those connections.
Property is surely a right of mankind as really as liberty. … The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. John Adams
What are the actual charges? Murder only he will get off….anything less like depraved indifference or incitement ……????
There is a chance that this judge hasn’t yet been given his marching orders, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that he will be one of the precious few that actually believe in the law. My expectation is that this is a bit of theater to fool us rubes before he flips and allows this young man to be railroaded. The rule of law is nothing more than a fond memory in this country at this time, a myth, a fairytale, that starts with the words, “once upon a time”. I have seen nothing in the past 10-15 years that suggests that there is anything resembling the rule law in this country. It’s come to this: there is no law, only court costs.
They’re going to riot regardless of the verdict. It’s time to put up or shut up. Half a dozen veterans under tarps in the beds of pickup trucks would go a long way as a first step to solving a lot of problems.
