Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schroeder was very frustrated by the prosecution in the case against Kyle Rittenhouse today. The defendant took the stand in his own defense after the prosecution clearly failed to present their case. Even the prosecution’s own witnesses affirmed the accused was acting in self-defense.
A desperate prosecution appears to prefer a mistrial in lieu of a most likely acquittal, by attempting today to introduce evidence against the accused. Judge Schroeder was furious at the prosecution for refusing to adhere to pretrial rulings.
There have been many people wondering why Kyle Rittenhouse would want to take the stand in his own defense given the weakness of the prosecution case. However, for those who remember the trial of George Zimmerman, the motive of Rittenhouse is not that difficult to see.
The case against George Zimmerman was just as weak and politically motivated as the case against Rittenhouse. Zimmerman was acquitted by the jury quickly, in part because a self-defense case was so clear and in part because the prosecution case was maliciously constructed and fraught with lies.
Like Zimmerman, the Rittenhouse case was similarly constructed for media and political use. It is a political trial with no basis in truth to the pretrial narrative.
George Zimmerman never took the stand before he was found not guilty. As a result, there was no counter-narrative to push back against the false media construct. After the not guilty verdict, the media continued to say George Zimmerman was guilty. The reality of manipulated public opinion haunted Zimmerman after the acquittal, and continued to destroy his life after trial.
It appears Kyle Rittenhouse is testifying to use the time where public attention is upon the case to avoid the post trial fate that George Zimmerman encountered. And, I will add, it is working. In a substantive way, Rittenhouse sitting and taking all of the prosecution manipulation upon himself in a very visible open court is generating more public awareness that he was/is wrongfully prosecuted.

Here’s a generic letter I wrote a few months ago: copy it and send it to your relevant Representatives, especially Elected Judges.
Dear Representative,
I’m writing to notify you that it is becoming very evident that we need laws protecting us from prosecutors that abuse their office for political purposes. This has been ignored and now is a brazen abuse of power in the most odious, obvious, and incorrigible sense.
Now this is what happens when you let people that have never been held accountable run wild. And it will not stop till this despicable double-standard is removed or at least adjusted. These people have been allowed to go completely above the law and now we have a real problem (and they have a problem too, they’re sick in the head).
You know the old Mosaic Law had it that if you falsely accused someone, then you paid the price of the crime that you were accusing them of. I fail to see why that doesn’t apply to prosecutors as well.
Very concerned citizen,
” You know the old Mosaic Law had it that if you falsely accused someone, then you paid the price of the crime that you were accusing them of. I fail to see why that doesn’t apply to prosecutors as well.”
—–
IMHO, both prosecutors and false accusers should pay a HIGHER price (very stiff penalties as a very strong disincentive) than for the crimes of that which they’re accusing others. It is WORSE than the criminal accusations they are making. They are knowingly and with malice aforethought literally raping the good name and reputation that their victim has spent a lifetime earning.
And the victim’s money and liberty and physical and mental health.
The present laws give prosecutors immunity.
What’s really going to get you all is when the Feds show up and arrest Kyle before he can walk free… The judge may call them out but it won’t stop them.
the people could prevent this, and quite honestly, it is long past time for a catalyst in which the people finally take justice upon themselves since it has been so clearly abdicated by this country.
They have abdicated responsibility, that’s so clear. That kid should never have been there and wouldn’t have been if the government was doing their job. Keeping citizens safe is THEIR JOB. This is insane
Adding insult to injury that turd prosecutor was snidely remarking about Mr. Rittenhouse taking upon himself the duties of the police and fire departments. These would be those departments who were standing back blocks away watching the terrorism?
Yes, they were. The police and fire departments have to take orders from the elected politicians who control those departments.
Yet that same authority, which as you said, abdicated it’s responsibility, now gets to step in and grab the mantle of authority after the fact.
This isn’t right. And it’s one reason why revolutions actually work at times.
The legal authorities don’t get a time out.
While I understand your position, I have to humbly disagree. The government is not and should not be there to keep you safe. Your safety is your responsibility. The police have no responsibility to keep you safe. This is supported by case law if you believe in things of that sort. Being that it’s not logistically possible for them to so, we have lost sight of the role of police. The police are there to enforce laws created by elected representatives. That is their job period full stop. To outsource the responsibility of your safety to others (most with families themselves) is not something I feel comfortable doing.
When you view the government as an entity that is supposed to keep you safe, you get vaccine mandates and masks.
Bravo!!
And a dead Kyle Rittenhouse instead of a live young man who protected himself.
Those who make criminal justice impossible will make vigilante justice inevitable.
The New Democrat Party slogan: MAMA, Make America Mexico Again
Updated slogan just in: MAIM, Make America Into Mexico
California is already there. Notice my handle. Time for a second…
@Shains, you just got Quote of the Day!!!!
Pray every day for that fire to be lit.
Romanian ppl did it in the X-MAS 1989… took justice upon themselves kiling bolshevik swine Causescu..and his wife…..
Who’s “you all” ?
Exactly ?
If the Feds are contemplating a move against Rittenhouse look for those moves to occur just as the Jury is Charged….it will be as the Feds did in the Floyd Case…announce that Rittenhouse is wanted by the Feds for serious crimes to help influence the jury and smear him in the eyes of the jury and public.
Not that this gambit would work in this case but it is their MO.
i pray they do that.
we need more violations, more tresspassing on our rights … before the people step up in mass disobedience.
all coinciding with airport disruptions, food prices rising, mandates pressuring, etc…. its possibly the best scenario possible to ever having the People rise up.
Yeah, but not on this poor kid’s back.
Simple solution: We all pray for his freedom and the end of this harassment and this banana republic circus.
We need to remember we are on the winning team and act like it. My God is bigger than The Deep State and Satan (that might be redundant).
Ok, cool do that. It’s called vigilante at that point because no laws uphold such actions. Just like the Jan 6th prisoners.
You want my opinion? So what here it goes anyway. Pass out the whiskey grab the torches and pitchforks send the FBI packing.
They are not a law enforcement organization at this point they are a criminal organization and “we the people” need to deal with them as such, at every insurrection. Be it varitas, You or anyone else they persecute. Or we live in tyranny.
This is exactly how dictators come to power. Eventually we will all vote for a “strong man” to quell the injustice. And they are always the people who started it.
FBI aka DPS – Democrat Protection Service
The stazi arm of the democrats.
you go against the fbi and they will shoot you down like rabid dogs.
Don’t even need to be RABID dogs.
This lot would even torture beagle puppies ~~
The FBI is the Stazi. The DOJ is the Communist Party enforcement arm.
Prove me wrong.
I didn’t see yours before I posted mine; almost identical. And agreed.
Wray facing all facts that he has lost , the cabal is over.
and instead of yielding – he holds on… because he is working on another play to decieve and Kill Americans.
———————–
Wray was asked if the dossier was bullshit – and Wray doesnt say Yes …as already Proven it was bullshit… instead he says -“we can talk about more in a classified setting”
HE IS WORKING ON another LIE to kill Americans and Frame Americans including an American President.
Treason.
https://4thamendmentrestored.com/framed-for-treason%3F
I heard this addressed on the radio by a former federal prosecutor. The Feds have no civil rights violation as everyone is white. Kyle and all of the ones he shot. Except for that, there is nothing.
FBI raided a home for a diary left behind of the President’s daughter. We no longer feel comforted by a law protecting us, a line they wont cross, or the normal way things are “suppose to be”
Dark Winter. if you haven’t prepared for the last 5 years. find a friend that has.
Always look for new ideas and creativity from the Communists and their Lawfare operatives. Crossing state lines to commit terrorist acts? Remember how DHS started labeling ‘far-right’ individuals and groups as domestic terrorists? Here we have a minor who crossed state lines and used a weapon the feds will call a ‘straw purchase’ to murder two and gravely wound one.
To me that’s all BS but I know exactly how evil Lawfare Communists are. I’ve known for years if not decades. It’s simply coming to a head now.
Watch for what happens to the motions to dismiss and any motions for directed verdict or judgement notwithstanding of verdict. We were dangerously close to a dismissal with prejudice today, which would’ve kicked Kyle loose and without any opportunity for the state to charge him again. Schroeder was pissed. He and Binger have a long history in his court. Wrong day, wrong defendant, wrong approach equaled a rare outburst by a long-timer on the bench.
Kyle is any of us. Pay attention. This is what out there. Those humans. They walk among us. Take no prisoners. Kyle was exactly right neutralizing those Communist threats, as we all should. Invaders. Evil.
Thank you for sharing the lack of a civil rights violations. They wouldn’t want to set precedent with white folks?????
Kyle is mixed race, on his fathers side.
They were prepared to do that if that cop chauvin walked. The legacy of st. floyd needed to be protected, and Minneapolis needed fire insurance
Really seems like mostly they are going with the “yet more riots!” plan =>
New fencing going up today around the Capital building. Big media liars about KR are mostly not backing off even though they have to know they are looking at big $$$ defamation payouts. They must think they either have the whole jury intimidated or it’s worth the cost.
Most of the DS recent operations haven’t gone as well as they planned. “Boogaloo Boyz ” fizzled into a joke, “Oath Keepers” is exposed, “FIB kidnaps Whitmer” is exposed and the swinger Agent fired, & J6 is on the edge of the truth being uncovered thanks to Revolver News & Tucker Carlson & Julie Kelly, while also raising the public awareness that the FIB really is really just another iteration of the Stazi . . .
Think we are gonna have another engineered George Floyd moment, sad to say.
Heads on swivels, get out of cities, and avoid crowds.
And don’t let your kids or other family members go to any satanic occult “concerts”!!
i pray there are more riots.
—
there threats have already occured. their violence has already been felt. our careers already lost or in the process.
they CANNOT THREATEN us anymore. and they sure as hell cant bring more pain than we can handle now.
their threats were the only weapon they had. its not a threat anymore – its War.
A gutsy move and I wish him well. The amount of malicious prosecution we seen over just the past 10 years is truly sickening and it appears it is going to get worse. He is very fortunate the prosecution’s star witness actually told the truth.
That scumbag didn’t tell the truth, he testified for the prosecution he was shot with his hands up – the defense then showed frame by frame of the video on cross that the scumbag didn’t have his hands up right before being shot but rather, had a handgun lowered and pointed at Kyle’s head at the time Kyle shot from a seated position on the ground. The scumbag didn’t tell the truth but rather was forced with video evidence to admit the truth – Big difference….
Lord willing, when this case is dismissed with prejudice, I, speaking for all Rural Floridians, would be honored for the Rittenhouse family to settle among us to live a quiet life of peace and solitude.
Hes been a good judge the entire time. Thank God
He can toss the case on a Rule 35 meaning there is no case!
Bonus points if the judge explicitly mentions that.
The prosecution is a freakin clown car that has crashed and burned in spectacular fashion.
I tuned in for about an hour or so before the lunch break. That was when the judge tore into the prosecution. My first thought was they were intentionally going for a mistrial rather than lose with a jury.
The only win I saw the prosecution make was Kyle got the curfew message on his way there. The rest of what I saw seemed to favor Kyle.
“Yes, I was out after curfew. So were the guys who were trying to kill me.”
The percentage of decent people in positions of power in America has reached an all time low. So low that it has already shattered all previous records.
The judge has been masterful, totally alert and fair to the gills. The defense team has had some proud moments as well. But Kyle gets the top prize for his humble, truthful performance. Nathan Debruin (defense witness) is also at the top for refusing to bend to the prosecutor’s deceitful questioning. Some commentators say that he appears to be on the autism spectrum (probably mild). In any case he made the prosecution into badly spoiled mince meat. So proud of these guys. But oh do I adore Judge Schroeder!
PT should have nominated this Judge for the SC vs that worthless Barrett.
the bimbo that didnt even have to take notes in her nomination hearing because she was an insider (like hillary in a debate)
and weak, spineless kavanaugh
In retrospect, who knows what that guy was up to in highschool..
Call him what he is: a crying pussy.
All of conservative America had his back during the confirmation hearings. He shit on us when he could have returned the support.
When Kyle is acquitted for self defense, there should be a monument erected in his honor: A bronzed citizen lying on his back, surrounded by weapons-wielding thugs.
Call it ‘2A’ and place it smack dab in front of the fib building.
Hell yeah.
I hope and pray that young Kyle is fully acquitted. Given the evil we are facing that is not certain. But in a just world, it would be.
If it was me, I would take the stand and ask why wasn’t my assailant not charge for attempted 2nd degree murder?
Amazing isn’t it? We live in a world where not one person in that court even had that cross their minds. Why was that guy allowed to run around with a gun and point it at people?
Holy F—————!!!!!!!
It is such a contrast reading what the leftist media report on this, and reading objective legal reporting on this.
It has been a circus from the start.
It is very encouraging though watching Judge Schroeder though who gives the impression of wanting a fair trial following the law.
Also such a contrast to those judges who simply put politics first. Or as SCOTUS Roberts, are too afraid of riots to do anything.
Kyle is an incredibly mature young man for only 18 years old. The way he handled himself on the stand was impressive for someone his age, he acts more like a man than most men twice his age. Sad thing is he would have been a hero for protecting a town against thugs 100 years ago, in todays ass backwards world he was supposedly the criminal.
Incredibly mature. Yes. Kyle Rittenhouse is a hero.
If I recall correctly, he was raised by his Mother, who the media tried to smear shortly after the rioting.
His demeanor, clear thinking, reaction in the face of chaos and maturity on the stand are a testament to the good job his Mother did in raising him.
Contrast him with the worthless bags of meat he shot. Or that clown who testified who tried to shoot him. All 3 much older than Rittenhouse.
Paid junkie agitators.
aka antifa
“His demeanor, clear thinking, reaction in the face of chaos and maturity on the stand…”
And don’t forget to mention his tactical skills. At 17 years old, he single handedly evaded a mob and stopped at least three direct attackers intent on killing him.
Everyone should raise their son to be like Kyle Rittenhouse.
Yes, with very little training or experience. Even people who spend hours at the range or in tactical training exercises don’t react with the discipline and courage that this young man displayed.
“Everybody’s got a plan until you get hit in the face.”
Why would this prosecutor follow the rule of law, White House continues to ignore Supreme Court. Court rulings are only enforced on citizens, even the unlawful ones.
That is a Judge!! That is the type of judge that should be on the Supreme Court!!!
I’m absolutely SHOCKED they allowed this judge to be assigned to the case. But I guess God stepped in for young Kyle.
Thank you, Lord.
I actually caught this in real time, and I’m not an attorney, but what I witnessed was a prosecutor doing exactly what he was accusing the defendant, change narrative as information came to light as this judge laid into him for his behavior.
To anyone following this trial it is clear that justice takes second place to selective prosecutions of the innocent. In all three cases I would have done exactly the same and most probably more.
The politicians today have a misplaced loyalty to the dollar value of a position instead of justice.
We allow the false narratives of very malicious people that only have a single agenda in mind, and one that will destroy us all if allowed to keep going.
Hopefully this guy will be found not guilty and the riots that will no doubt follow….after all its a new flat screen for Xmas time!
I hear that would be called a reparations payment. 😉
Or unearned acumen…eh?
I just hired Binger as my defense lawyer. Hahaha……
Today’s case was great, the Judge went after Binger a few other times, I want to say the jury was sent out at least 3 times so far.
might still be up, 7 hours long
https://thecount.com/2021/11/10/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-live-stream/
Another site about 8.5 hours, with a panel of 6 to 10 lawyers giving a running commentary.
Yep, and the panel included at least two nationally known high profile civil and criminal defense attorneys and a former Los Angeles prosecutor. Fabulous wealth of information and leads to further investigation.
I believe all of the panel were shocked when Kyle was called to testify. They knew it was possible and had been discussed pretrial but the way the case was going with Binger being his own worst enemy they figured that no way would Kyle want to open himself up and give Binger the opportunity to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Equally, they were also shocked by Binger’s interactions with Schroeder and that the judge let him get away with it without sanction. I figured he’d get a jail cell for the rest of the day and a formal sanction. Stuff like that just doesn’t happen in courtrooms. Yet, throughout, Kyle remained stalwart and faced Binger head on.
At the peak, that livestream and panel had over 70,000 people watching. I’m glad to see people are paying attention. Kyle is any of us, our children or grandchildren. This is real.
Unfortunately I was tuned to that feed via Citizen Free Press. It was horrible because these commentators kept talking over the testimony and key points were missed as a result. I should have switched to a different live feed.
I pray one day soon Kyle gets his life back and that he will grow up in peace doing something he loves. May he have a long and healthy life. God Bless this young man, so incredibly brave and courageous.
Yes, his mind and heart healed from the extended trauma he has experienced… Convert the trauma into wisdom beyond his years.
This prosecutor needs to be punished. What he’s attempting to do to this kid is horrible. I’m amazed that people are upset at this kid, but don’t say a damn thing when kids are shooting up blocks in Chicago.
That’s because it’s BLACK kids shooting other BLACK kids in Chicago. To them, black lives only “matter” when they are used as pawns to sow racial division.
Divided we fall.
I’d love to see a KYLE STATUE;
which honours this fine young man…
for his brave behaviour and honour,
STANDING AGAINST CRIMINALS AND TYRANNY!
(fathom the looney left and their continual meltdowns) if this came to fruition.
GOD BLESS YOU KYLE, YOU’RE A NATIONAL TREASURE!
Do we make the AR small to make Kyle look big or do we make the AR giant to drive the left crazy?
Can’t drive the left crazy, since they are bat s..t crazy already.
What’s past crazy ?
I used to think these Democrats had a little Hitler in them.
I was mistaken. It is not a little.
I think this is a good question…

Why Has Gaige Grosskreutz Who Aimed Gun at Kyle Rittenhouse Not Been Charged with Attempted Murder?
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/gaige-grosskreutz-aimed-gun-kyle-rittenhouse-not-charged-attempted-murder/
It’s menacing. Or something along those lines.
He didn’t shoot.
Probably because he couldn’t, as Kyle blew away his bicep.
Dude is lucky he’s not dead.
Question for all people (even libtards):
What would you do if someone pointed a gun at your head from 5 feet away, and you were armed?
Wow, they really cleaned him up. Looks like he detoxed too.
Prosecutor discretion looms large in the protection of any of these mercenaries. I know it well from my own state of Oregon and the going’s on in Portland.
His permit to carry concealed was apparently expired too. He had a DUI dismissed last month that had occurred a couple months after the shooting. Check out his rap sheet, no felonies that I could find but can lend clues to his activities. Wisconsin has all that info available to anyone.
Is there a pattern emerging?
All through summer 2020 American cities were burned and looted, from Minneapolis to Portland, from Kenosha and Chicago to Seattle. All across America the response was the same. Law enforcement stood down and let it happen. Oh, they would sometimes chase people after the mayhem was over, but in Kenosha the local authorities stood by and let the rioters burn businesses. In Chicago police sat in squad cars and watched while looters ran amok for 7 hours. All across America it was the same. It’s as if they all got the same memo. They all followed the same protocol.
In hindsight, it almost appears local authorities were trying to provoke a response from local citizens. But they didn’t get one, except in Kenosha, and even then it was pure self defense. But that didn’t stop them from charging him practically overnight. Furthermore, when no citizen response was forthcoming, they had to gin up the January 6 “insurrection.”
Sound outlandish? Well, now we find out the FBI had an airplane circling Kenosha taking pictures of the people on the street. But did they use their video to prosecute arsonists? Nope. They used it as evidence in the Kyle trial.
The whole thing is fishy. There was something going on. And it still is.
Soros. ANTIFA. FBI. Obama. vs. Rittenhouse.
Exactly ?
Sounds like the start of the correct list of “enemies foreign and domestic”
Sidebar, follow the money trail, see who buys up all the neighborhoods and businesses that got destroyed.
They used the edited version of the FIB footage. What was on that original that can’t be seen or heard? I wonder if there was sound with the original that captured discussion among the FIBlies in the cockpit?
Enemy combatants…
I wonder how many FBI informants were on the ground working to make it violent.
This young man has been subjected to the horrors of war because the government has been engaged in war against the citizens. He was forced to defend himself that night, and then and now has shown immense courage and self-control. But for the war the government was conducting against us there would have been no riots, no arson, and no terrorist thugs chasing him down.
A question. I’m not against Rittenhouse in any way and I don’t know interstate gun laws. Did Kyle cross state lines with the weapon? If so, does this create a federal issue whether real or contrived? If acquired, could the feds take it up as some interstate issue? Again, the final result is not the goal of the feds, but the months long process to beat down the defendant.
If acquired should be if acquitted
He did not transport the gun across state lines. His buddy lived in Kenosha and stored the gun at his house.
No, he did not. He was 17, so he gave his money to his friend in Wisconsin to buy a gun that his friend would keep in Wisconsin and let Kyle use when he went shooting with him. He said the plan was that after Kyle’s 18th birthday, when it would be legal for him to own the long gun, he and his friend would do a private sale and transfer the gun to Kyle.
I don’t see anything wrong with this. IN fact, it strikes me as the legal and proper way to do it. It was not technically a straw purchase, regardless of where his friend got the money. His friend kept possession of the rifle. It was HIS rifle.
My understanding is the rifle stayed in Wisconsin until Kyle brought it into Illinois to turn himself in that night. And he only did that because the Kenosha police ran away when he tried to turn himself in to them.
It was not only in Wisconsin, it was locked in a gun safe.
The rifle was never out of Wisconsin since purchase.
You could more easily make the case he was fulfilling his duties as a member of the unorganized militia and mustered to the service of Kenosha which surely needed it with all of the looting from the Pantifa types.
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/246
Thanks all for clarifications. I really like the forethought of buying in the state and keeping it at friends house until legal for him to obtain at 18. Shows quite a focus to adhere to local laws and such.
It’s not illegal to transport a gun across state lines!
It is not illegal to take a gun from one state to another. Each state has gun laws and concealed carry laws. For example one can be concealed carry with no permit in one state, but in another state needs a permit. In Wisconsin it is legal for a minor to have a long gun (rifles of which an AR-15 is a rifle, ArmaLite Rifle) but not purchase one, and a minor is prohibited from using a pistol/revolver and a shotgun.
Virginia allows open carry. If I have a gun on my dashboard in plain view, it’s legal; however, if I have a gun in the glove box and do not have a concealed carry permit, that’s illegal.
You may carry a rifle in your vehicle’s trunk or otherwise out of view without a concealed carry permit, AFAIK; however the law may be that it must be “secured” and unloaded.
The weapon was purchased with Kyle’s money by a friend in the Kenosha area and stored securely at the residence of that friend except when he and Kyle were practicing at the friend’s family’s acreage and of course the night in question in Kenosha.
The Federal angles are many, a couple that come to mind is any arcane laws passed in the aftermath of San Bernardino regarding straw purchases, here by a minor at the time, and crossing state lines to commit terrorist acts.
Don’t kid yourself, Lawfare lawyers have already thought up a plethora of potential charges if they want to, and they want to IMO. Remember the BS stuff they pursued Michael Flynn over for years? Evil to the end, even when PDJT pardoned him. That’s who and what they are. They sleep among us. Never forget.
Only if he was driving the vehicle that had the gun. I don’t think he was.
That trial did not commit suicide …
As SD has pointed out frequently lately .. “They know exactly what they are doing”
How do you prolong the punishment of an innocent kid? How ’bout a mistrial?
Because of the prosecution’s illegalities, the defense has already asked for a mistrial with prejudice, meaning Kyle Rittenhouse can not be tried again for all the indictments listed by the state.
ADA Binger: Your Honor, it is my argument that the silence invoked by the defendant after his arrest is an admission of guilt.
???
When does this witless jackass get himself disbarred and imprisoned?
Not to mention it was annoying watching him chug from his environmentally friendly jug. What lawyer carries around such a thing? And what lawyer stands front and center of a court room guzzling in front of cameras like that? Reminded me of Lil Marco.
It is chock-full of vodka.
I listened to Nick Rikieta all day during this trial and he objected vehemently to letting Rittenhouse going on the stand….but I agree with SD….he NEEDED to do this. The dirtbag prosecutor being abusive to Rittenhouse in public is showing how much of a sham this is and is generating sympathy for Kyle. Look at the comments on that clip SD shows. It’s OVERWHELMINGLY for Kyle and people are talking about how much of a scumbag the prosecutor is. Kyle should walk away from this without having any baggage from this aside from the fact that he survived that whole ordeal.
It was gut wrenching to watch.
I couldn’t listen to a lot of it cuz of work and just because I’d have wanted to strangle the prosecutor. I think this will be a directed verdict or mistrial with prejudice. This kid is going to be perceived as a hero and the state government is going to be a laughingstock.
It was a heart breaker. I couldn’t stop my tears anymore than Kyle could.
It seems like the prosecutors are just puppets, that there is a larger strategy at play. Initially, they were trying to get their witnesses to help their case, of course. That didn’t pan out so they’re on to the contingency plan.
What’s that plan? It looks like they’re trying to get a mistrial. Now, they must figure that it could be with prejudice, blocking future prosecution in the state.
What’s the next move after mistrial then? Federal charges? Rioting again while calling the judge a white supremacist or something? Do they have an ace up the sleeve in an appeals court? I guess we’ll see.
If dismissed with prejudice, don’t think that it could go to Appeals Court.
Might be federal court, wouldn’t put it past the Brandon administration.
Stand strong young Kyle.
We got your back.
Why was there an FBI drone overhead?
Was the riot an FBI op?
How many of the rioters were informants and provocateurs?
What is the criminal and FIB history of the three fellas that were shot?
How many other of the riots were FIB ops and can we see the drone footage from them too please?
Call Christopher Wray to the stand.
Exactly ? on Chris Wray.
Until demonstrably proven nottobethecase, ALL such destructive antifa type riots are apparently fbi Nation destroying operations.
Any such “Brown Shirts” style ops should be considered run by Feds.
Not a drone, a spy aircraft at 8500 feet.
One of the drone videos was just that–a drone. You could tell by it rising from streetlight height to ~200 feet.
It’s not easy but scouring news reports from local sources after the riots and cross-referencing them in the WI and MN criminal court databases can return significant information on the killed and wounded and other rioters arrested. There were hundreds. I followed up on only a small portion of them because some of them traveled from my home state of Oregon to do their nasty deeds.
I’ve heard a lot about ‘drones’ and there was some private drone footage seen today in court but I believe the FBI footage was from one of the government’s fixed wing light surveilence planes like a C26. I don’t doubt they had them flying over many of the major riot locations last summer. They routinely fly over the LA area, riots or not.
Big brother is always watching. Use it.
I was able to watch a portions of trial throughout today. From what I saw, Kyle did great. He seemed like solid kid (one most would be proud to have as a son). He appeared clear minded and most important – honest. It was evident from his breakdown on stand that he’s deeply affected by shootings (even though in self defense). If jury is fair minded Kyles case should be dismissed (IMO).
The prosecution is so bad, I almost have to wonder if they’re intentionally throwing the case.
They were trying to. The judge almost says it when he’s chewing Binger out. He knows they got nothing and are trying to throw it so they can do it again. He’s not going to let them. One way or the other the kid is going to walk away from this.
I pray Kyle does walk from this. Then I hope he sues media into bankruptcy.
I think the prosecutor is arrogantly liberal. He treats everybody like children because he knows better than everyone else. It did not come out well on TV I wonder if he will keep his job after this fiasco for his office.
I agree about prosecutor CJ. He was arrogant and contemptuous. I thought judge was gonna pop a blood vessel at one point. Amazed judge didn’t throw the book at him…or anything else he might of had within reach.
Prosecutor had no respect for the judge, and I’m surprised the prosecutor wasn’t banned from the courthouse.
Ad Rem: I hope that my prior comment may be evaluated in light of this snippet from Legal Insurrection:
“For those who may not know, the right to silence is inviolate, and the fact that a defendant has remained silent may not be used against him in any way—including the prohibition that it may not be mentioned AT ALL by the prosecution at any time of the trial, EVER.“
The ridiculous assertion by ADA Binger that “Silence=Guilt” ought not to trigger a “ flag” by any but the most mischievous.
I want to say the defense could have objected more, for many reasons, “ask and answered”, “leading”, “outside the scope”, “calls for speculation” …. But I can’t see and therefore I can’t read the jury’s reaction to the condescending style of this slimy prosecutor, it’s plain to see that the prosecution isn’t looking for “justice” they just want a conviction at any cost.
Poor Kyle had to go home and tell his mom and sisters what happened before he turned himself in , it must have been very sad and heart wrenching, then to spend time in a jail, there’s nothing worse then a kind hearted youth in a hard core jail , loud, scary… What a harrowing ordeal this young man has gone through because the mayor let the city burn
Judge Schroeder even addressed the objection issue when the lawyers were arguing back and forth and not addressing the court by stating he can only rule on objections if the prosecution or defense object. l
Apparently, objecting is not in Richard’s style so Kyle’s case isn’t unique; he has a history of the behavior.
One advantage of watching an independent trial stream with lawyers on the panel is one gets the advantage of real time analysis and their access to PACER and trial system analytics to better understand what’s going on and who’s who and what’s what, particularly with the rancor in the courtroom today.
Besides the trauma of the night in question, Kyle has gotten an introduction to the American justice system that will affect him for his entire life. As an old friend, now dead himself, once opined…. life is war then you die. I resisted that for way too many decades, being an idealist. Idealism gone, welcome realism. Prayers and best wishes for Kyle and his family.
Those guys are annoying, talking over each other making corny jokes , loud …
Like I said I can’t read the jury but the defense can , I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
The judge has been magnificent, spot on
I just started watching this trial today. But I heard Kyle say that his father lives in Kenosha. Where is the father does anybody know? I didn’t feel his presence, which makes Kyle that much more remarkable.
One thing that should be very concerning is the underlying prospect of fire insurance for the city of Kenosha. An unconvicted Kyle will most likely engage the BLM/antifa domestic terrorists into more thuggery, arson, and vandalism. And the FBlie will let it happen. The kin of george floyd have already threatened the jury, and you know damn well that nothing will happen to them.
This is what any law abiding citizen could face in any big blue city, if you happen to end up having to defend yourself against the communist favored thugs like Kyle did. Im curious to see what the jury’s call will be if the case goes in that direction, or what will happen if the judge tosses the case. Its a whole new landscape since the Zimmermann trial.
Yeah but if he’s un-convicted then there’s your legal precedent right there to blow away the scumbags. People aren’t going to be molly-coddling these ***holes any longer.
I view Kyle as any of us. Peaceful, law abiding, God fearing humans who won’t go looking for trouble but have no problem taking out threats if and when they occur.
A great example is when the summer of violence ended and the Communist mercenaries and arsonists melded back into the background, there were no citizen posses, no militia actions, no targeted assassinations of Communists, people damaged by their activities sucked it up and went on with their peaceful lives and rebuilding. That’s who we are. They are who they are.
However, that doesn’t minimize the zeal and resolve of the sleeping giant out there. We’ve destroyed enemies before. We can again. It’s there. That’s why the Communists are doing their level best to divide and weaken us. Hold the line. Remember a veteran tomorrow. I still have the burial flag of mine, my father. God be with all veterans and long live the Republic.
As I watched this so-called trial old day dreams from my cop days came flooding back into full view. I wanted to get out of my chair, pickup my handcuffs, jump through the TV scene, ram that prosecuting attorney’s arms up behind his back, cuff him ever so tight, and drag him out of the courtroom. The case reported here is only being tried to coverup the gross failures of the government at every level to control civil disobedience across this nation. The left as well as the right continually demonstrate that they are little more than power hungry, little, self-serving, witless, cowards.
The only solution in this case is for the judge to dismiss the jury, hold the prosecution in contempt, and render a judgement of innocent of all charges. Any other course of action is nothing more than government demonstrating a level of incompetence and cowardliness which has become commonplace as the progressive movement as advanced.
Soldier/Cop/Mercenary, Retired
Found in the bin… 🙁
Robert Barnes was attorney in the Rittenhouse case, but left after several clashes with the Rittenhouse main attorney.
Listening to Barnes commenting on the Rekieta Law livestream today, Barnes said the defense attorneys insisted on Rittenhouse testifying, which was one major point of contention with Barnes and the other defense attorneys.
The Rittenhouse attorneys also did not agree with jury selection specialists, which Barnes had engaged and paid out-of-pocket.
At one point in the Rekieta Law livestream, there were 12 attorneys yelling at the defense attorneys for allowing the prosecutor to run roughshod over Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse attorneys did nothing.
One suspects the judge had to stand up for Rittenhouse more than once to protect Rittenhouse’s rights, which Rittenhouse’s attorneys were Not doing. Rittenhouse’s attorneys seem to be as incompetent as the prosecutor obviously is.
Whatever the conclusions at the end of trial, justice will not be served.
Then after Thanksgiving and end of trial, expect the Feds to come rolling in with Federal charges for the Rittenhouse boy.
After all, JoeBama said Rittenhouse was a white supremacist. The Feds must make it so, mais oui?
I watched most of the cross exam. It is conventional wisdom never to put a criminal defendant on the stand, for good reason. Especially when the prosecution has failed to make its case, as happened here.
But Binger scored almost no points, bored the jury to hell, and made any remotely unbiased observer really just loathe the sight of him.
In the meantime, Kyle came across incredibly disciplined, completely honest, and just as a really good kid who really didn’t want to kill anyone and who came very, very close to death several times that night. For the sin of putting out fires and offering medical help.
I’m going to give the defense team the benefit of the doubt and believe they knew how self-disciplined Kyle would be on the stand: to not get snippy or sarcastic, to not throw questions back at Binger, to not speculate, to think through his answers before responding, and to not get worn down over long hours into contradicting himself. It’s like walking a ropes course on the balls of your feet. But Kyle did all that. Somehow he did it. I guess they knew they found the one in a million.
Plus, exactly as SD wrote, the kid’s got his whole life ahead of him. If he is able to win not only the court case but the public heart, that was worth the risk.
At the moment, it’s looking like a very successful gambit.
Cause we all love the Kyle we saw today. God bless him.
A White Supremacist that shot three White felons chasing him down with guns violated their civil rights. I think that even the DOJ would find that a tough leap to make!
I followed Robert more after he ended up dead nuts right on Barrett and the Federalist Society and figured hey give law and order one last shot and immerse in a lawyer laden marathon of the life of one brave human and the 2nd Amendment being on trial and am glad Nick put the whole smash together. Over 70,000 people were viewing the trial there at one time today.
Opinions vary but IMO the Feds are coming, not just for Kyle but for all of us who value freedom and liberty. Whether it’s ‘militia’ or ‘unvaccinated’, read ‘Three Felonies a Day“, great book on the realities of the Feds targeting the innocent. God save the Republic.
May have been mentioned here on the Treehouse previously, busy place so I may have missed it.
If you question why this case was prosecuted in the first place, here’s a clue.
https://www.worldtribune.com/blood-ties-kenosha-mayor-da-and-detective-also-democrats-want-kyle-convicted/
Nepotism is alive and well.
The real reason they want him convicted so badly is because he demonstrated how effective the 2nd amendment was for him. Not only that but how effective the ar-15 was in defending himself. Ya know, that gun that every leftist says serves no purpose.

And Legal Insurrection is providing excellent daily coverage of the trial with a lawyer who writes for the blog who is an expert in self-defense.
I pray the judge isn’t Vince Fostered…
Since the jury has been surveilled and likely identified if not already doxxed, prayers for them and their families too. John Grisham “Runaway Jury”, good read. There’s a movie too but IMO the book is better. They changed the topic in the movie and made it about guns.
I love this, thank you, Sundance. Is that prosecutor a soy-boy or what? The goatee, tight-fitting Euro jacket, Euro glasses. But much worse than that, he has his left hand in his tight-fitting Euro slacks pocket while addressing the judge. What a disrespectful a**h***.
And then this judge lays into him with that unmistakable, delicious Wisconsin accent and annihilates the guy and puts him in his soy-boy place.
Thank God we have these morons to laugh at.
The prosecution will take a mistrial over a verdict because Kyle will still be under state control while a verdict closes the circus.
Yeah, and that cash bail comes back to him once the local case has closed regardless of disposition. If a mistrial is called and a new trial set, I believe the bail remains in force. 2 million reasons to drag it out, plus more of the process being the punishment.
I get the feeling Schroeder will do anything within reason to take the case to the jury for a clean shot at a verdict. Will the jury split/hang? I don’t know. Jury selection happened super fast for a high profile murder case. The analysts I’ve been following think a unanimous verdict will be tough. All it takes is one or two holdouts.
Kyle…lawyer up. Get these SOB’s where it hurts…in the wallet
Kyle Rittenhouse is a great American hero in the fullest sense of the term. From his decision to aid the defenseless, to how he co ducted himself under extreme duress, to how he handled his firearm under extreme duress, to how he made his decisions on how to use his firearm under extreme duress, to how he handled himself after engaging in multiple fatal fights … to now … how he is handling himself under immense judicial pressure but ALSO the political pressure of a nation divided and a corrupt judicial system designed to hurt patriots like himself. Now throw in to that – he was friggin’ 17 years old! He is now only 18 on the stand. My goodness! Our enemy is lowest of the low. This young man represents the quality of our side.
I salute you, Kyle Eittenhouse!
I Loved Catturds take: “Now we know why prosecutors are called DAs.”
“A desperate prosecution appears to prefer a mistrial in lieu of a most likely acquittal…”
I’ve read somewhere that the defense has moved for a mistrial with prejudice (can’t be tried again.)
(Sorry if this has already been posted.)
Comes in handy to be reminded.
Phrase to be remembered is “with prejudice “, so the state can’t get multiple redos, where the process becomes the punishment.
I watched his breakdown live. I would have jumped through the screen and hugged his mother if I could. She had to listen to what he experienced, knowing full well he would be dead today if he hadn’t acted prudently and responsibly. Travesty doesn’t come close to describing this trial. Those “victims” were animals looking for a fight. They started it, Kyle ended it, he deserves a medal.
