The Dems seem to be ignoring what they actually did and arguing to be allowed to do what they could have done instead. The rushed sham of an impeachment was entirely their call.

Impeach in haste let the other side ensure that you repent at their leisure.

Waiting for one of the Republicans to comment that Schiff has admitted the Articles submitted are deficient and the process run in the House by the Democrats was not done according the constitution. Now they want the Senate to exercise unconstitutional authority to clean up their mess.

When they mention withheld materials the rebuttal is simple, they pre-emepted the scheduled court case on that issue to have their impeachment.

Trying to make an impeachment case because some bureaucrat is offended that President Trump didn’t want to follow interagency procedures is a joke. What the Democrats fail to realize, is that why we voted for President Trump.

They always planned for the Senate to have to issue the subpoena’s. If they don’t, they will be labeled as not respecting the rule-of-law. But really, this is about President Trump not obeying the bureaucracy. Not obeying the party. That’s what happens when the American people elect a disruptor.

“It’s that same pride in our democracy and respect for our constitution that fuels my support for an impeachment inquiry,” the congressman added. “We must complete the work started by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. It’s a solemn responsibility of Congress that the framers of our constitution included to protect the rule-of-law.”

“Trump and his administration have engaged in repeated abuses of power and disregarded our institutions, while flaunting Congress and the judiciary,” wrote Crow, who is a lawyer. “To this day the president prevents key witnesses from testifying before Congress, wrongly asserts executive privilege to dodge subpoenas, and attempts to skirt court rulings.”

This President represents an existential threat to President Obama, the Clintons, Democrats, and the Swamp People and their way of life. Just as the Media and Democrats represented every lawful objection by President Trump as unlawful obstruction, so should the a Congressional Democrats every attempt to impede Barr, and fire the VSG, be further evidence of their abuse of power and obstruction of justice.

3-4 Slice their lips off their faces! Pull

    • For much, much too long, Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts lied, lied, and lied again in a travesty of justice that they alone controlled. They were always surrounded by sycophants, and by lawyers who would reassure them of any misconception that they fancied while billing them for tens of thousands of dollars a day.

But now, their lies have at very long last moved into an entirely different venue – a venue which, like it or not, they do not control. It is, in fact, a venue whose members should very soon begin asking very hard questions of them. Members who should challenge – and then, reject – the fundamental Constitutional legitimacy of every single thing that they have done.

Because, you see, our Founders did foresee(!) every single thing that the Democrats have done here. They were scholars of European governmental and judicial history. They knew the errors of the past, and therefore they knew that, one day, those same errors would be attempted again.

Our Founders placed great faith in the sobriety and wisdom of the Senate. Very soon we shall all find out if their faith was well-placed.

    4. There will be an increase in the number of Prosecutors who want a promotion, more power/money by convicting innocent people knowingly.

The Democrats’ claim amounts to stupidity on stilts. The Bidens are invoked by implication in the accusation against the president. So how can they be removed from his defense? It’s absurd. The Democrats have lodged an impeachment that is specific as to who the accused is but generic as to the crime committed.

There is a good reason that Article III courts are explicitly enjoined by the Constitution to try only “actual cases and controversies,” not abstract disputes, be trey civil or criminal. The entire impeachment should be dismissed as infirm.

It likely is. I’ve been married nearly thirty years. I can’t imagine doing to my wife what George has done to his.

Kelly Ann has demonstrated mind boggling strength of character, not to mention pure grit and determination in continuing to do her job under such adverse conditions as her “husband” has put her through. He’s not being a husband. At all.

I wish there was a way to write her and uplift her without coming across wrong. I’d hate to say something that would be misconstrued. And I’d hate to say something that would contribute to a divorce.

      I’m genuinely amazed by her.

She AND President Trump look rough this week. Even superhumans display the toll of unrelenting pressure. Trump looked pretty bad in Austin the other day, worse than he sounded.

I can only imagine that when Laura does an interview with Kellyanne, at the end of it, when the camera is off, she says something to the effect of “I’m so sorry for you!”.

Kelly Anne looks fine to me on my TV. The criticism of Kelly Anne’s looks is harsh and not wise IMO, if you are a Trump supporter. She’s a valuable member of the team and this kind of criticism won’t exactly inspire her. Fortunately, she’s a fighter.

However, I also noticed a change in her appearance which I attribute to her hair being more grey on top than blond and she seems to have lost more weight. Both natural occurrences if they were Kelly Anne’s decision.

My dad always told me “All women are pretty, some are prettier than others.” I stand by his wise quote. The other half was also correct (forgive me, I am a gal 😉 ) “And all men are bad, some worse then others”. Kelly Ann could use some mail from all of us thanking her for her amazing and unwavering support of our VSGPDJT 🇺🇸

Probably just trying to survive through the election. I can’t fathom she would even want to stay on given the marital stuff.

Kelly kills it and would have been excellent on the defense team…..the cameras have a way to filter someones looks….dont know why Fox did that . Actually have seen Martha look really old or look like her age as well. Hell I look really old….as my Mother in law use to say “I earned all these wrinkles”.

  42. I tried watching but every time Schiff came on I had to turn it off. That man is like a festering boil on your private parts. I’d rather get a double root canal than watch him again. Consequently, thank you to all you Treepers who watch and comment. MAGA

From the time I’ve been watching this latest Dem hoax, it seemed to me the Dems had much more time to make their repetitive case. Then not surprisingly, insufferable DS gatekeeper Chris Wallace said (paraphrased) that the Dem managers were outsmarting the WH managers by utilizing every second of their opportunities to make their case during the subpoena/amendment discussions. The WH did not.

Clearly, Schiff recently used his several closing minutes to drone on about POTUS’s wrongdoing rather than the topic of the OMB document request argument. The Dems are saving every second for later and not wasting a second of their time disparaging POTUS when they’re on the floor. If the disparity is due to McConnell trying to speed up the amendments etc. it is also wasting some available time to present the case for the defense at every opportunity. Every BS Dem argument should be blowN out of the water ASAP.

  49. still Glad but still confused by the White House addition of SD’s “MAGAnificent Seven”+1 (the Elite Eight” Republican House members…unless by including them, they can bring up information and ask questions they were not allowed to ask (because of Schiff) during the impeachment inquiry??

They are there for public relations and advice to White House counsel, kevin. Mostly for public relations, one suspects.

These guys have proven experience in front of a camera, and can defend the President on any cable or network show who will have them.

The Florida D.A., Pam Wahtsits, was hired for much the same reason, imo.
