The name of a principal is conspicuously missing from the Glossary. See Appendix B, Glossary (p. 401.)

Alphabetically, her name would fall between Clapper and Clovis. Where’s Hillary?

Highly suspicious the interpretations of the body language expert on Rosenstein. A deal cut for protection from prosecution for the FISA? Rosenstein is a dirty traitor and should answer for starting the Special Counsel without a crime to justify.

If we read the conclusion to the report we read another traitor’s wordsmithing in lawyer speak of a totally spurious political charge. They stepped away from “traditional” prosecutorial procedure, (they stepped away from the law and common sense). They could not exonerate the President of obstruction……WTF? their job was to find enough evidence to indict the President which they didn’t and couldn’t do. No one can prove a negative! No one should have to prove their innocence.

Reading the pages just before the conclusion sounds like a clarion call to Congress to use all the political hand grenades present in the report to impeach President Trump. I agree with Sundance that the House will move to impeach using all the political but not criminal mines the report is intentionally loaded with.

Pelosi will be our weathervane over the next few days of which direction the House will go.
Wonder if Pelosi ever heard the parable about the monkey trap of peanuts in a jar? The hunter’s footsteps can be heard….can the dims let go the peanuts? I hope not!

Go ahead! Supeona Mueller! Throw Brer Rabbit in the briar patch! Watch Nunes ask questions like, “When did you realize there was no collision Mr. Mueller?” Or. “Why did you erase Page and Strouk’s cell phones?

Rudy G on fire today on Fox. He smells blood in the water. He keeps pushing pre Pappy, Misfud, no predicate. I had thought Rudy lost his fastball. Nope. He played this well and got it done. Mueller settles for written answers and then has to whine about it in the report. No testimony, no subpoena, no perjury trap. Even the swat team on Roger Stone failed. Mueller threw in the towel. Rudy won a lot of knife fights with Weismman. All they could do was try to dirty Trump up. And even better for POTUS. They get all the embarrassing stuff in one day. No smoking guns in the limited redactions. I love Donnie J Trump. He is a hardcore OG Gangstah. Watch and learn fellow real Republicans. This one man took down Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCain, Ryan, McConnell, FBI, CIA, CNN, MSNBC, WAPO, NYT, Schumer, Pelosi et all. Donald Trump is a man with flaws, but he is the most tenacious fighter. The powers that he took on and gobsmacked is unprecedented. Donald
Trump may be the most brilliant political strategist of our time. Oh and he’ll probably have another 20 hour day, do a rally, take a few mulligans at golf, and then have 2 scoops of ice cream with the most beautiful chocolate cake in history. And then tell CNN that he has been working out and dropped a few pounds. You go player! Next week when he does a press conference will be epic!

RR looked like he just got sodomized by a biker gang. Apologies for the visual. But its all I could come up with. Anyway, it looks like he was “forced” to be there and take his medicine. Note how CNN etc does not have any sources that say Barr made the call on obstruction. Mueller, RR, and Barr all declined to go for obstruction. Congress will move on to Weissman and Rhee. They will get talking points from David Brock at Media Matters and the new narrative will be that there was “disagreement on the Mueller team”. They will claim several prosecutors felt they had a strong obstruction case. this will kinda sorta put Mueller in the cross hairs, so they will have to finesse this. Congress wants to ride this for a few more months until they hand the baton to Team Biden. Barr is a tough cookie as we can see with his prior appearances. They key for the Dems is they need Mueller to give them the line that a majority of his staff thought they had an obstruction case. But this issue is an albatross for the Dems. Pelosi wants to dirty Trump up for a few more weeks and move onto the 2020 races. That witch is a smart cookie too. She has her Tea Party revolt and they are gonna blow 2020. The party of connor lamb and doug jones was a mirage. The left has pulled off their masks and Pelosi is furious. She wanted to con America for one more election cycle that the Dems are moderate. I thinks the plans SD layed out will be scrapped. This issue is a loser for the Dems and Nancy wants to pivot to something else. She wants to crank up the Biden train.

Nothing of substance was ever in place to even begin to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Notice how RR stood like a dead, cold stone throughout the whole AG Barr’s press conference.

Yes, I was watching RR during Barr’s press conference. The entire time that Barr spoke before he opened it up to questions from the propagandists in the room, it was just as you state. RR looked like he should make a Southwest Airlines commercial: “Want to get away?”

RR’s demeanor did change, though, and he got a glint in his eye when the assembled propagandists started asking questions about Barr “protecting” Trump. You can just see RR’s glee at the thought that some are still working to take down President Trump.

Could Mueller really have shut the investigation down early? Sundance always emphasized that he was in a way hired into the SC role by the pre-existing team.

Maybe there was nothing to do politically but to let this play out to the end, although allowing this to roll past the 2018 election was a very nasty thing to do, on top of what it had done to PDJT’s presidency already

      • stringplayer55 says:

Yes, Mueller could have shut this down within months of his appointment. Dollars to donuts that the redacted portion of the August 2, 2017 scope clarification letter from Rosenstein to Mueller was to permit Mueller to attempt to pin an obstruction of justice charge on the President when there was no evidence of any Trump/Russia collusion. Do everything you can to p*ss Trump off to the point that he tries to shut down your investigation. Then we can nail him with obstruction.

That was just a little more than two months into Mueller’s investigation. His investigation was not premised on FINDING evidence of prior wrongdoing by Trump or anyone affiliated with his campaign. The premise of the Mueller investigation was to INDUCE Trump into committing an action that RR and company could use as a pretext for removing Trump from office.

To me, Barrs ‘tributes’ to Rosie and Mueller is what you say, when you are showing someone the door.
IF you DON’T say “Your fired, get your *ss outa here, NOW!”
Then you laud them for their years of service, in a “No hard feelings, thank you for your service, shake hands”.

Then you think but don’t say “And don’t let the door hit ya, on the way out!”, and revoke their security pass, change the access codes, and fumigate their office.

Having him stand up there, and by his presence refute the Dems saying Barr is PDJT’s ‘lapdog’, having Barr point out that it was Barr, working with Rosie, to conclude no obstruction, etc. Is WHY he kept Rosie around.

I AM disappointed, initially that the report is stll pushing the idea that the Russians ‘hacked’ the DNC.

I suppose if you use ‘hacked’ in the broadest sense, like ‘wiretap’, a phishing scam COULD fall under a broad definition of ‘hacking’.

Haven’t heard of anyone attempting to refute Binney’s argument, that couldn’t have been done over the internet, as speed was too quick, has anyone?

And, found it interesting he seemed to pre-emptively absolve wikileaks of any legal jeopardy for disseminating emails, so long as they had no involvement in OBTAINING them.

Or, was he establishing the predicate for WHY Assange could be charged in manning case?

And Ooops, the investigation DIDN’T investigate and detirmine that the Russians didn’t have anything to do with the emails getting to wikileaks?

Will be taking the next few days to slowly read through it as during the first dozen or so pages all the things we learned from following CTH and the other online real journalists found myself interjecting with “yeah, but . . .” and referring to one of those already exposed events we learned here.

We’ve received a wonderful prep for this with all the hard work collectively dug up by so many and freely shared in order to spur continued deep dives. That’s the beautiful thing in this whole mess, watching real patriots whether journalists, researchers and/or people who just really love our country like Sundance, Katica, themarketswork, Rosie memos, et.al. (too many to name here) find something, post it on their twitter or blog, then share notes and comments with each other, really creating a way for truth to come to the surface for anyone who wanted to find it to see, not claiming ownership or demanding payments for ‘inside views’ like some others were doing to build their bank accounts or followers.

Also, Wallace now seems to understand that the anti-Trump plot may have predated the late July 2016 timeframe. He specifically asked Rudy about this. I suspect this is the result of Rush, last week, specifically pointing out that his “good friend” Chris was ignorant on this issue and naively accepted the Deep State narrative that it started in late July.

Papadapoulos was right about there being a warrant to look into his Israel connections. It just says “warrant” not FISA but I wonder if that was indeed a FISA as Pap suspects. If so then not only does that confirm (finally) that more than one FISA was issued on Trump campaign associates but also that the NYTimes and ABC had a copy of it in April 2017 and yet never reported that.

In truth, the report does focus quite a bit on the obstruction aspect. But on everything else, the Special Counsel seems to have been very thorough in discovering no Trump-Russia collusion. This episode is not complete – I think Congress will find enough here to proceed on obstruction and impeachment. This report put the ball in their court.

Also clear from the report is that the FBI was very, VERY busy between Jan 2017 and May 2017, especially March (McCabe).

And a whole year earlier [than the Jan 2017 WH meeting Victoria Toesing mentioned with Obama, Brennan, Rice, etc.]; and I guarantee you it will have been in the White House.”

The report appears to hold the ‘Adam Schiff’ angle on Carter Page, that Page had no significant role in the earlier case as ‘Male-1’, and that is was perfectly reasonable to:
    1) Not immediately arrest Page on the basis of ‘probable cause’ that must exist to operate a FISA on a US citizen. Page had had cooperated with the FBI. If such a suspicion existed Page was a ‘double agent’, then one might also suspect Page had misled the FBI in the earlier case as Male-1.
    2) Not inform Trump that someone the FBI had trusted is possibly a double agent for Russia.

It does not matter critically if Page was a paid informant or just a willing cooperating witness. What matters is that the FBI believed him to be a double agent and they did nothing to protect anyone.

What was the FISA predicated on that was sworn as verified before the FISC? That Page was a ‘Male-1’ and spoke some Russian?
