And Then There Was None – Bill Priestap Resigns…

The only remaining FBI counterintelligence official at the center of all spygate and Clinton investigation issues is departing.

The enigma man, E.W. “Bill” Piestap is retiring from the FBI.  Bill Priestap is the FBI Asst. Director in charge of all counterintelligence operations.  Priestap was FBI Agent Peter Strzok’s boss; he was also at the epicenter of the story surrounding every action taken by the FBI in the Clinton investigation and the Trump campaign investigation.

Bill Priestap was copied on every email of consequence including the writing of the Clinton exoneration talking points delivered by FBI Director James Comey.  Priestap was the central figure on the FBI side of both Clinton and Trump operations.  “Bill” is mentioned in hundreds of text messages sent by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

In short, Bill Priestap was everywhere – except where you would most likely expect to find him, in media discussion.  The timing seems curious though the Wall Street Journal goes to great lengths to describe the timing as a mere happenstance due to his 20-year service anniversary and the opportunity to retire with full benefits:

WASHINGTON—A top FBI official who helped oversee two politically sensitive investigations related to the 2016 presidential campaign is retiring from government service.

Bill Priestap, who currently serves as assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s counterintelligence division, will leave his post by the end of the year. Mr. Priestap, a 20-year veteran of the bureau, worked on organized crime and drug cases in Chicago before rising through the national security ranks of the agency after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Mr. Priestap’s retirement is unrelated to the controversies over the handling of the 2016 investigations, according to a person familiar with the matter. He “became eligible to retire and has chosen to do so after 20 years of service,” the FBI said in a statement.

The federal government allows some employees, including FBI agents, to retire with full benefits if they are 50 or older and have at least two decades of service.

During the 2016 campaign, Mr. Priestap was one of several officials at the center of two politically volatile probes: the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, and a counterintelligence inquiry into whether associates of then-candidate Donald Trump colluded with the Russian government.

After Mr. Priestap’s departure, none of the high-ranking bureau officials involved in the two investigations will remain with the bureau. FBI director James Comeywas fired by President Trump last year, and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was later dismissed by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his contacts with the media, days before he was eligible to retire with benefits.

Peter Strzok, the chief of the counterespionage section, left the FBI this year after it emerged that he had sent disparaging text messages about Mr. Trump.

Top bureau officials, especially those with national security experience, are in high demand in private-sector fields like cybersecurity, defense contracting and private intelligence. Mr. Priestap’s future plans aren’t known.  (read more)

Priestap was so important that during FBI Director James Comey’s March 20th, 2017, congressional testimony Director Comey told congress it was Bill Priestap who recommended that congressional oversight should not be notified of the ongoing counterintelligence operations.  Priestap’s instruction was so important that despite the  rules violation FBI Director Comey followed his recommendation and kept congress in the dark.

On June 5th, 2018, FBI Director of Counterintelligence E.W. “Bill” Priestap testified to a joint session of the House Judiciary and House Oversight committees.

The hearing was a matter of strong public interest.  Mr. Priestap was questioned for approximately seven hours.  However, journalist Olivia Beavers covering for The Hill dropped a detail that seemed rather curious:

(The Hill) […] Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.), however, said he felt that Priestap didn’t say anything that would indicate there was “political bias that motivated the Hillary Clinton email investigation.”

Priestap “completely” backed up everything that Comey said, according to a source familiar with his testimony.

Only three lawmakers — Jordan, Meadows and Krishnamoorthi — attended the hearing, which took place on the first day after a weeklong recess.

Priestap’s interview comes after the joint House investigation stalled for months after being first announced.  (more)

On the home-front: FBI Director of Counterintelligence Bill Priestap is married to Sabina Menshell a self-employed “consultant” with a history of donations to Democrat candidates, specifically to Hillary Clinton.

Bill’s wife Sabina comes from a Goldman Sach’s connected family, which must be why Bill and Sabina can afford to live in a $3.2 million home in Washington DC.

The fact is the NSA has always had all of Hillary’s emails. They never were unrecoverable in any way. Of course DOJ/FBI/CIA or NSA does not mention this to the public for an obvious reason.

My problem and realization now is how slow and apathetic Americans are to grasp what has taken place against all of us on a grand scale ! That apathy and mental laziness is why we have allowed all that we see today to exist n the first place and few can wrap their head around that fact ! Nothing can or will change much until people realize the depth of it all and how they have been part of the game played on them by being complacent and compliant to the many control mechanisms created for all of us. This is the realization that matters now. The criminals have been exposed for quite a long while now and we are simply sorting thru all the details and minutia. At what point do citizens say ENOUGH, STOP ? That is the only relevant question now.

Let there be no doubt many have helped expose it all and that is a very good thing. Now time to move on to the ext step and demand accountability !

This stupid game of Muellers over Flynn has been going on for ages. We have all been watching it unfold. On that article I linked, one commenter put it well…

“Wasn’t he the one that the FBI faked the 302’s on and then the judge ordered the Mueller team to submit all the exculpatory evidence to the court within 30 days? Then Mueller requested a sentencing delay for 90 days? This whole shitshow appears to be a Mueller **** up. Can’t wait to hear the real story in a year or two”

What will be most interesting is what Judge Emmet Sullivan does, what he writes in a legal opinion and most interesting what he says and if he directs remarks at the parties.

Agree with all of your assessment. All of it has been signs to show us just how seriously corrupted our government actually is at many levels. Until we see prosecutions of the many criminals not much can or will change and that can only happen if the people demand it happen ! Had it not been for Trump being elected and Assange back in 2015-16 we would know any of this ! Ponder that as a reference point of truth.

If we see no prosecutions it means they get away with their crimes and it will happen again. It is very simple, either we demand laws are enforced or we don’t ! If we do not it means we actually have no real laws, just double standards we allow. Being allowed to retire and get your pension is NOT any form of resolution nor will that resolve anything except let the criminals get away with their deliberate crimes.

Spoiler alert – the swamp is NOT winning… far from it. Priestap wasn’t left in place and never mentioned in the media – all while being in the eye of the spygate and insurance policy hurricanes – for no reason.

I believe that in exchange for keeping his job, his pension, and his freedom, he has sang like a canary behind doors on all the dirty deeds and corruption that surrounded him… going all the way to the top. It makes no sense that everyone else in high positions around him were cleaned out, especially after him being implicated many times in the Strzok-Page texts, and he alone was left to continue going about his job with zero repercussions.

As Judge Judy says repeatedly, “if it doesn’t make sense, it’s not true!”. I follow the JJ logic.

    • There is no way Priestap would’ve remained in that job if he did shady stuff, broke laws/rules OR if he was clueless and took no action against the illegality taking place around him. Strzoks was his subordinate. I’ve said for a while, that Priestap MUST have set a second secret Counter Intel Op once he saw that Crossfire Hurricane was off the rails. A counter Intel Op into who was behind the corrupted and illegal Crossfire Hurricane Counter Intel Op.

When Comey talked of a Counter Intel Op that was run without oversight it was Priestaps secret Counter Intel Op NOT Crossfire Hurricane. When Mueller took over a Counter Intel Op he took over Priestaps secret Counter Intel OP…not Crossfire Hurricane.

I believe this is the only plausible explanantion for Priestap remaining in place.

He checked all the downtown hotels there, but halper, Mifsud, and Steele never signed the registers, and there are no pee pee parlors in Utah.
Sessions said “good job Huber, I knew I could count on you” Case closed.

Interestingly, Comey has been subpoenaed to give “deposition” testimony, which is fact-finding testimony to be used in a future court hearing. This testimony was never going to be done in public and he knew it. His goal was to simply to delay.

Priestap’s retirement is happening now because his cooperation is no longer required. We have arrived at the end of the road. Now we wait to see whether anyone will actually be charged and convicted.

How Husbands And Wives Figure In The Latest Government Scandal Revelations
      By Frank Friday

“The one thing the.y sort of miss on is his wife, Sabina Menschel, who is not just some consultant, but the current head of the D.C. office of Nardello & Co. That’s the top private-eye firm in the Beltway.

So the man the FBI has keeping all its secrets is married to the top private snoop in Washington.

It would be revealing, no doubt, to see what Democratic-affiliated law firms and media shops in D.C. use Nardello. Let’s hope congressional investigators are looking into this. Ms. Menshel, by the way, is the daughter and niece of Goldman Sachs zillionaire brothers Richard and Robert Menshel, big-time Democrat donors.

A long time ago, a friend of mine who once worked in the intel community in D.C. told me all the agencies were just absolute cesspools of nepotism, and pretty much everybody advanced by playing leap-frog along with a spouse through the system. Use your connections to get your wife a better slot somewhere in the alphabet soup, then she does the same for you. A few detours on the way to congressional staffs, or well connected private law and media firms, can be part of the track as well.

That’s how we got everyone from Bruce and Nellie Ohr to Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. No surprise at all that Hillary Clinton’s attorney is the super-connected Beth Wilkinson, married to NBC’s David Gregory and an alumna of the Web Hubbell DOJ and the Jamie Gorelick Fannie Mae – you know, the same people in James Comey’s FBI. Peter Strzok may have a variation on the game, using his mistress Lisa Page as his ladder-climbing pal in the DOJ.

We also have the swamp fighting furiously for every important federal job to be credentialed and not made “political.” What sort of person benefits from that? The Lois Lerners of the world – connected East Coast liberals. There are 80,000 IRS employees but only two appointed by the president.

It is an IRONY worthy of a Charles Murray book that the liberal D.C. Democrats, who have done so much to destroy the American family in general, have made family ties their secret weapon for staying power in Washington, no matter who wins the elections.”

Frank Friday is an attorney in Louisville, Ky.

The storm clouds are gathering. POTUS has not got himself to this point in his life by letting other people screw him over, and he definitely is not going to sit back and let that happen now. • Retired EE says:

From experience with the defense industry the clearance can be withdrawn if you no longer need the clearance. Generally there is some time when the clearance needs to be renewed. However, although you may have a clearance you do not get access to any classified information unless you have a Need To Know. So, just because they have a clearance they do not automatically get to see classified information. These people may be allowed to keep their clearance if the agency has need to consult/discuss with them on subjects of which they have knowledge. If their clearance is withdrawn they are still under the secrets act and must not disclose any classified information they might have knowledge of. They may not keep classified documents or other information outside controlled environments, like at home or on a private server.

I would think that the clearances for the retirees should be withdrawn unless there is some need for consultation. Anyone terminated for cause should have clearances automatically withdrawn in my opinion.

I would imagine that would be as criminal conspiracy.
I have zero faith that anyone will be held accountable for what went on during those 2 investigations ,with all the classified information that was leaked to the media to create a fake narrative and to add to the confusion and doubt in the general public’s minds. that makes me very sad!!!!! Just because Priestap appears to be retiring with full benefits does not make him an innocent man. Whenever the fake media that includes the WSJ writes positive pieces about the various characters involved in the 2016 seditious and activities of treason while conspiring against this republic and its people you always have to use a mirror to get closer to the truth.
Priestap is such a guy: He was deeply involved with all the Hussein and HRC, MI6, SIS, CIA activities overlooking Hussein’s treason while in office down to Comey and Mueller.

If he were such an honorable guy he would have blown the whistle about the treason beginning in 2009 and earlier until president Trump’s election. He did not and rather actively played his role to force a win for HRC in the 2016 election.

We know from early on that he flipped and co-operated. I would guess he tried to safe his own a#s rather than doing it based on being a patriot like Mike Flynn. His actions to assist the investigation reeks of being a coward. I remember all the emails between Comey and the rest of the FBI during the HRC email investigation and Priestap was the active participate to change all the wording including covering Hussein’s a@s when replacing the language of guilt towards a cover-up.

He played a major role in the cover-up of HRC crimes and treason such as selling highly classified info and SAP’s via her CrowdStrike/Google handled personal server. He was one the men exonerating HRC.

It is my hope that his security clearance is revoked rather than being allowed to retain it to continue selling out this country via the many shady CIA outfit masquerating as legitimate companies.

I am also sure that a sealed indictment is filed via Huber after his admission during his co-operation became also a clear case of sedition and treason as he let go an individual who posed one of the most destructive national security risks this country has ever seen: HRC and gang.

To all of you being impatient his retirement is not the end of the Priestap collusion with the deep state to injure this republic and her security.

Always remember: Beginning at midnight on 31 Dec/01 Jan 2019 the military tribunal goes active as all the indictments are ready to be unsealed. Read the three (3) EO’s by president Trump posted at the WH website. The explanation of enemy combatants aka US citizens involved in treason and sedition will stand trial. Nobody can stop it even though rolling out Bush Sr on 5 Dec for a funeral while he died on 14 Nov 2018 is no accident.

December 5th was the day John Huber was scheduled to testify against the CF et al on the hill. It’s also known as D5: That appearance could not happened ergo the strange funeral of Bush Sr and one of the top echelon deep state/NWO architects.
