How Deep is This Swamp?…

This outline is reliant upon: (1) intellectual honesty; (2) accepting what is, and not what we wish/hope to be; and (3) the welcomed challenge to prove it all wrong.  Please, prove this analysis wrong – and if we can’t prove it wrong; not by hopes and dreams, rather by actual quantifiable evidence; then please provide possible solutions – quickly.

There are two facets, two recent researched stories, that paint a very disturbing scenario.

The first facet is a reality that Senate Security Officer James Wolfe was given, and leaked, a copy of the Carter Page FISA application on March 17th, 2017.  This is important because it leads to context within the larger issue.

It is virtually guaranteed that James Wolfe received and leaked the FISA Application [SEE HERE]; however, not only was he not charged with the leak, not a single media outlet has taken the overwhelming evidence, reported on the leak – or questioned the DOJ or FBI about why Wolfe was only charged with lying to investigators in December last year.

Why?  Why is that massive DC corruption story completely overlooked?   What does that say about the fourth estate?

It would be entirely impossible for that story to be hidden if the DOJ, FBI, political system (within the Senate Intelligence Committee), and fourth estate were functioning correctly.   Something is severely broken, and there’s no-one doing a darned thing about it.

♦ Accepting that dysfunction leads us into the more recent issue:

The details and circumstances surrounding the plot to smear Judge Brett Kavanaugh, through the use of Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford, by a group of politicians, political operatives and former DOJ/FBI officials.

[SEE HERE].

However, don’t get caught up in the weeds.  For now just look at the bigger picture.

Think about the known names and positions for a moment.

•Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford (academic psychologist and life-long best friend of a former career FBI agent); •Ms. Monica Lee McLean (former 24-year career DOJ/FBI insider); •Mr. Michael Bromwich (former DOJ inspector general and career DOJ/FBI official); •Mr. David Laufman (former CIA, and DOJ-NSD Asst. U.S. Attorney General); •Ms. Debra Katz (political operative and legal counsel with deep DNC attachments); •Senator Dianne Feinstein (ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee); and the myriad of media allies (Mayer, Farrow) and political operatives who each played a role in the scheme.

Again, skip the weeds.  Just look at the big picture.

The smear campaign against Judge Brett Kavanaugh didn’t just involve a small team of connected insiders; their enterprise carried across multiple institutions, the legislative branch, political operations and the media.  This SCOTUS smear campaign was a major effort consisting of multiple organizations (inside and outside of government) and multiple people, and it took considerable planning and coordination to execute.

Now, apply your own intellectual honesty here….

Do you really think that all of those elements described above would even consider going after a supreme court nominee with a baseless lie if they thought they would get caught?

Think about it.

What level of risk would have to exist in order to begin constructing such a fraudulent scheme?  Who/What would be the “risk elements” under consideration?

To begin constructing this effort the architects would need confidence that all elements normally functioning within oversight, which under normal circumstances could catch them in the system process, were under control.

That level of confidence is beyond normal hubris.

The people working this scheme would need very strong confidence in pre-existing institutional control within the system of the DOJ, the FBI, the Senate Judiciary and the media apparatus – writ large.

If they thought the current Department of Justice or current Federal Bureau of Investigation was not under their control, or not able to be influenced by their control, they would never begin.

If they thought the current DOJ or current FBI were functioning, they would never even begin to construct such a scheme.  It just wouldn’t happen; because they wouldn’t think they could: (A) pull it off; and (B) avoid accountability if caught.

In addition, they would have to believe the politicians within the Judiciary Committee and their political allies in total could operate to assist without scrutiny or questioning.  Also, they would need to have confidence the Fourth Estate (media) was entirely on their side and no opposition would exist to present a risk from investigative exposure.

All of those elements would be needed in forethought in order to begin constructing the extensive plot against Judge Kavanaugh.  If they didn’t have confidence in the status of those institutions they would never begin.

If we accept the premise: if they thought they would/could get caught they would never begin, then we must accept a more disconcerting reality.

They began because they had no risk of getting caught. The current institutions are corrupt.

Adding what we know about the James Wolfe outcome to the current Kavanaugh plot, and what stands in front of us is an entirely corrupt set of institutions providing no law, no order, and absolutely no oversight.  Abject FUBAR.

Again, big picture.  This means the current DOJ, current FBI, current Senate-side of the legislative branch, and current media apparatus are entirely dysfunctional.

All of these corrupt people, including all those connected to the DOJ/FBI plot against the Trump administration, must have some confidence there is no operational function larger than the corrupt elements they control within it.

The Kavanaugh plan was not hatched in 2016, or even in 2017.  This plot was executed in the past few weeks.

This means all of those corrupt elements are *CURRENTLY* in place. Without those elements currently in place, Ford, McLean, Bromwich, Laufman, Katz, Feinstein, the media, Lawfare and all those involved, would never have attempted their ploy.

Now, as stated in the introduction – prove me wrong.  Please…  Because the mid-term election is only one month away.

If those former DOJ and FBI insiders thought Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein, Chris Wray, David Bowditch, or any official inside the current DOJ and FBI, was a risk to them – they would never have begun such a transparent scheme.

So where does that leave us?

Well, someone noted in an email a few minutes after inaguration to “do it by the book”. There is the public ledger and there is the private ledger. It even happens in favorite story plots. The sheriff in Robin Hood. The plays of Shakespeare. The plot line is used because it is familiar and historical. Can it be fixed even for a few years? November 6 will tell.

Another way to ask the same question is, “Just how rigged is this entire game?”

I stick by my posting from 26-May-2018:

“Let’s get our definitions straight: Mr Moto was a spy; Mo Dean was a hooker; Hank Kissinger ordered many of the FBI black bag jobs of the early 1970’s; Tony Randall was gay; Denny McLain was a saint compared to today’s ball players; nobody knows much of anything about the real Barack Obama even after all these years; Andy Hardy was never really meant to sexually congress with Judy Garland; and Donald Trump dares only go but so far with the Deep State before the John Brennans fulfill their threats in discreet but extremely hurtful ways.

I think we’re lucky enough just for the likelihood that Trump is unlikely to be impeached or leave office a la Nixon. A 4D Deep State Checkmate.

And, BTW, the Thin Man died from liver spots and Hillary is never going to go to jail.”

Cry baby leftists have been beaten yet again on another Can’t Lose scheme to stop Kavanaugh and POTUS. They will be xeflated after spending so much energy ansdoing all they could.

Conservatives, however, and Independents are reenergized with this huge win, this will turn out at the polls Nov.6 because of their anger. It is evident White Hats in FBI were anticipating wrongdoing and tracking emailed texts of Ford team, hence the prosecutor questions to Ford.

Wily and patient Sen. Grassley is the hero here, in my view. He played the Dems like a beautiful violin. Every single Republican on Judiciary Committee treated Crazy Lying Dr. Ford with respect and sympathy. That is how our side won, not by forcing the vote too early, and thereby guaranteeing the loss. POTUS was beautifully effective as well..

This win cannot be overemphasized, even though Kavanaugh is less conservative than Gorsuch. As to the coming fight when Justice Ginsburg leaves the bench, now that will be legendary. We are now prepared for it, however the crazies come at Judge Barrett or another woman for this “female” seat.

Pretty much the story line for every Monty Python skit and movie for that matter. A centuries old theme reused constantly. You won’t be proven wrong, Sundance. A person is only as good as the character he/she develops.

Everything always comes back to who we are in our core. For example, I’m always amazed at the abortion argument. Many staunchly anti-abortionists will defend to the end their own personal and private behavior that could result in knocking a woman up through illicit sex occurring simply outside of the marriage relationship. How dare we meddle in anyone’s sex-capades? Butt out! We are consenting to that sex!

Bottom line is every single thing that results in a negative is created by at least one person’s failure to do the right thing.

There has been only one perfect person to walk this earth, and he left us his example to follow. Problem is, fewer and fewer desire to know him or study him to reflect his character. It’s all been scripted, and some of us know the outcome already.

The one thing that has really bothered me about all of the Spygate, Kavanaugh, Uranium One, etc. has been, who is running all this? It was not Obama, although he was a powerful political tool at the time. The one connection with all of these things appears to be the Lawyers. It is easy to assume these lawyers are on board because their views align with the “major players”. I do not believe Comey, Brennen, Clapper, Obama, or any of the “Leadership” are this smart. But who is good at playing the long game, research, precedent, offensive and defensive tactics and media manipulation. Lawyers. Soros and Steyer are the money men, but we need to go after the Lawyers.

The real fight on the ‘hill to die on’ was started when Ford’s letter to Feinstein was leaked to the press. Otherwise, her completely ridiculous accusation would have been heard privately and dismissed for lack of even a scintilla of evidence. Katz had the letter as did Feinstein staffers and Katz was put in place by Feinstein. So it all goes back to Feinstein who first held the letter until just the right time and then used Katz for political cover. They wanted a messy battle and that is what they got. What they didn’t anticipate was the GOP’s position that ok, we will hear Ford out which weakened the political move on the part of the Democrats. But the real weakness of the plan is the lack of understanding of the American people who believe in fairness and the rule of law and innocent unless proven guilty.

Shows how little they think of us and how dumb they are. SD is spot on that this was put together by a crowd of people which is scary really to consider. I wonder though, if their plans were not really framed when PT became a candidate for Pres. They must have known a lot about him and he triggered alarm bells because of that knowledge and started their plans at that time or even before. The DOJ and FBI, as we now know, was loaded with people who are part of this group who want PT gone. They have tried so many tactics to get back their power and save their corrupt lives. They are getting to the end of their plans because the voters/Americans are not buying into them anymore and are paying attention. I am getting more nervous that they might try the one thing that could stop PT and I am praying he has enough security to protect him and his family. Imo.

Liberals have relied on the courts – particularly the Supreme Court – for the last decade or so. When they win a court case, they quickly claim their issue is “settled law” and hope the masses fall in line. That’s why Ben Wittes referred to the courts as an “insurance policy”.

Losing 2, possibly 2 more Supreme Court picks to Trump (who isn’t particularly conservative) is devastating to their agenda. It goes beyond abortion; that is just the hot button issue to fire up their base, it extends to immigration, gun control, property rights – everything.

    Firstly,
How do you know for sure that it was the Carter Page FISA Application that was leaked on 3/17/17?
I recall something about the number of pages being the same but, not the content being affirmed.
    Who has the release?…the MEDIA.

    Secondly,
The more recent attack on Judge Kavanaugh began back in June or July…not just a few weeks ago.
The coordinators (Monica McClean and Dr. Ford) are not stupid people.
I think that they used Judge’s book to find a logical but, nebulous time for a fabricated attack.
They could pick a reasonable time and back it up by saying that Ford saw him in Safeway.
Both facts are in his book.
They knew that he had alcoholism problems and wouldn’t be believed if he refuted seeing Ford in Safeway.
They didn’t need an exact place, an exact time, or transport info…just an approximate date.
They could chock everything else up to PTSD.
They needed corroboration and picked Leland Keyser because they knew that she was physically sick from back problems and wasn’t likely to be able to testify…she’s probably on pain medication and therefore, wouldn’t be believed if she refuted Ford’s story.
They knew that Feinstein was in re-election trouble and needed a Hail Mary Pass.
Ford has been published regarding self-hypnosis, polygraphs, and creating artificial situations.
She took the polygraph to see if she could lie under oath about the fabricated attack.

All they had to do was to create doubt.

They kept everything vague so that they could avoid a real investigation.
Put yourself into the shoes of an FBI agent.
Where do you look? …When?…Who?…Why?…There is nothing to go on.

    The two possible slip-ups are:
    1. The therapy notes. Hence, they have not been released…except to the MEDIA.
    2. The text messages in between Monica McLean and Leland Keyser…could be considered badgering an FBI witness.

As long as there is not a criminal investigation into their behind the scenes actions, they are home free.
All they had to bet on was nobody having the fortitude to request an official investigation.
    So far, they have won.

They didn’t really have to rely heavily on the Deep State…just a spineless GOP and we all already knew that.
The MEDIA was 100% on their side…and we all already knew that.

Dan Bonging calls the so called polygraph administered to Blasey Ford laughable. She was asked only 2 questions! How did he establish a baseline for comparison? Without that baseline, the polygraph was useless. Moreover, she prevaricated about on which day the polygraph was administered. At first she said that it was the day of her close relative’s (grandmother?) funeral; then she caught herself and said that it might have been the next day. What kind of monster would leave the funeral of a close relative to take a polygraph and what legitimate polygrapher would administer a polygraph to someone who had just left the funeral of a close relative, or even a day later? The Blasey Ford polygraph is invalid and Grassely knows it.

They have no concern for the collateral damage they may cause. Republicans never, ever play hardball and there is always the lame stream media to play backup and whip up the masses. Maybe, just maybe the times they are a’ changing. They forgot the blogisphere and that there are those that can find building permits on-line and who has business names registered and where. And most important that real men of character when falsely accused will stand ram-rod straight and fight back to protect their family and reputation. Just importantly we have a President, flawed as he may be, that refuses to cave to outlandish political behaviour. 9. after the testimony of Ford i looked her like she was a tragic figure used by the Dem party to stop the Kavanaugh confirmation. Her testimony had holes in it a mile deep and wide but perhaps she really had suffered an assault she just wrongly attributed to Judge Kavanaugh. Then it began to bug me-how bizarre the whole Ford thing was. How much of an act the lady was putting on. At first reluctant to think that because you feel like you might be discrediting all women who want to come forward and dismissing their stories. Then you realize the media is playing on that and while it’s a legit concern;it’s also true women make false accusations with the intent to destroy the person the accusations are aimed at. Bingo-Ford was a set up.A willing accomplice.Fake as hell. From that annoying little girl squeaky voice and tilting head, to her i wanted this to be private complaint. Maybe she did for nefarious reasons and never intended to testify publicly.Another words they didn’t see that coming.Or they never intended to keep it under wraps at all and WANTED it to get aired publicly.Either way doesn’t matter. Ford was in on it. She’s no innocent bystander. She was an active, willing and main accomplice.

That is what they’re afraid of. This means the 2nd amendment will never go away. IMO it’s the 2nd amendment that is the key. They want it gone. Without it we are helpless and that is the goal.

Yes, and Collins reminded us in her speech yesterday that Roberts was influenced by Kavanaugh in his ACA decision:

“One concern that I frequently heard was that Judge Kavanaugh would be likely to eliminate the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) vital protections for people with pre-existing conditions. I disagree with this contention. In a dissent in Seven-Sky v. Holder, Judge Kavanaugh rejected a challenge to the ACA on narrow procedural grounds, preserving the law in full. Many experts have said his dissent informed Justice Roberts’ opinion upholding the ACA at the Supreme Court.”

During World War II, many German citizens choose to work within the Nazi organization. At the Death Camps, these Germans would daily place dead bodies into the ovens, one after the other. When Christmas time arrived these soldiers of death would go home to their families and celebrate the birth of Jesus, exchange presents, and break bread with other families in their neighborhoods.

Frame of mind…how did this happen? Over time they were “brainwashed” into a belief system where they thought if they behaved a certain way they would be rewarded.

Such is what our reality is in Washington, DC. It has been a long time coming, but it is a reality.

Recall how many German citizens still denied the Holocaust even as they were marched through the liberated death camps at the end of the war. Lying eyes meets reality.

As the Undertaker learned in Godfather Part One, he needed to “respect” Don Corleone and pledge his allegiance to his Godfather–if he ever needed serious help!

Who is the Godfather of Washington, DC? That is your man (or woman) you seek. When you find this person you will also find the immediate circle of this cabal.

I believe the “German citizens” you are talking about here were the members of the Einsatzkommandos (“Deployment Commands”), the groups that followed the Nazi armies into the Ukraine and murdered Jews. The individuals in them were generally German policemen who were too old for combat. They even took pictures and sent them home. One of the commanders of these units literally died in bed, in Germany, not too long ago. Check out the entries on Wikipedia. But I would happily accept correction.

If there are no consequences from this corruption of the confirmation process, Trump will have an issue on his hands, we Deplorables are SUPREMELY angry about the events of the past month, and if nothing is done about it, a good percentage of us will go back to our lives, drop out of politics, and wait for the eventual civil war to take up arms to protect our legacy for our future generations.

Quite frankly, the only solution is to win mid terms first. After that happens Trump needs to fire practically the top third of the FBI and DOJ then rehire positions. Also, when rehiring positions start placing non-lawyers or conservative lawyers(Tom Fitton) in leadership positions. Look at the FBI for example, most of the leadership positions were leftist attorneys. Start placing field agents. local law enforcement from around the country, ex-military etc. in those positions rather than “briefers” like Comey.
This is the only solution in my mind or this will never stop.

If the cancer infiltrates a Human Resources Department, then all positions from that point forward can be backfilled with those new hires who are corrupt/corruptible and who will continue to feed/support the cancer.

Beware of lawyers, but also beware of ALL H.R. departments, across the spectrum: government, private sector, academia, ALL.

      • I like your idea of moving government operations to the Midwest or somewhere in flyover country. It would give better access to more Americans to actively participate, peacefully protest or support the things which affect us all in Federal government. Think Pearl Harbor. If you have ever been there and visited the Memorial and museum, seen the videos and films of the months and weeks before and early days of the war, you will know how moving it is; how important it is to know this history. Yet, how many Americans, especially high schoolers, get to visit Hawaii…?

Your concept that “the structure needs to be taken down to the studs, and rebuilt…” sounds very civil and orderly. I’m not sure that the state of the left and the “powers that be” behind them which funds, supports, mobilizes and encourages them (all in an effort which seems to support the critical task of keeping us divided by race, gender, political affiliation, socio-economic class, sexual orientation, etc. etc.) supports this civil and orderly idea.

I rather think that “burning this thing to the ground and starting over”, which I hear/read much more frequently is, unfortunately, much more likely.

May God give us strength, guide and intervene for us either way…

      • Really love the idea of moving Federal govt operations to somewhere in flyover country – more centrally located (and thus accessible for participation, support and/or peaceful protests) to all Americans (especially those more conservative minded).

Your idea of taking things down to the studs sounds very orderly and civil. I hope that can be done, because it is necessary for our survival. I contrast your wording with “burning it all to the ground and starting over”, which I hear and read much more frequently. Given the state of the left and the forces behind them, funding, supporting and encouraging them, I think the latter is more likely, unfortunately.

May God help us either way.

The troubling new paradigm on prominent display here —perhaps a test run—-was how will the public accept blatantly FABRICATED “evidence”.if enough MSM/Personalities/Gov’t officials present it as real?
And will there be any accountability for doing so?

Yeah I know the media has been full of shit for decades but there is always some kind of wiggle room to obfuscate the fabrication…..arcane legal aspects, complicated minute details, convoluted timelines—the weeds is where they can hide. Let’s face it following the FISAgate/Spygate is difficult, understanding all the pieces and how they interconnect—well—we need a SD.

This Kavanaugh Saga was different. Ford’s story itself lacked reasonable specificity–her past thoroughly scrubbed– but was able to grind this country to a standstill because it was simple: Sex & Beer–essentially every friggin Budweiser commercial ever.

    Look what they accomplished:

Ford discredited HER OWN STORY multiple times.

The Atlantic’s Ramiriez story was debunked IN THE STORY ITSELF–but they printed it ANYWAY and it was amplified by the usual MSM suspects and US SENATORs.

Jeffrey Catalan’s RI boat rape story. He recanted.

Completely anonymous letter with accusations sent to Karmala Harris

36 year old Senior high school yearbook entries reported as if it was long lost scripture—Boofing, Devil’s Triangle–an epiFFFFFFFany!

And of course NBC “News” running the Swetnick story of roving bands of high school train rapers which doesn’t pass the “DUDE….I would have heard about that by lunchtime on Monday” smell test.

For all intents and purpose they got away with it….because we SAW IT HAPPEN.

My concern is this and I’ve been wondering this for the past 2 years regarding FISAgate/Spygate. That plot was hatched by the CIA/UK/FBI/DOJ and others. The resources these organizations have at their disposal is immense.
SO WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST FABRICATE EVIDENCE OF TRUMP/RUSSIA COLLUSION?
The answer I believe lives in “they never thought she would lose” so they felt they didn’t need to.
As shitty as the things they did do was…..surprisingly it seems they kinda did things by Obama’s “book”. We have the text messages, memos, the BS in the FISA application, Ohr, McCabe’s memos etc. If they had been smart they would have covered those tracks.

Now they KNOW they should have.
And now they KNOW they can dumptruck absurd amounts of complete BULLSHIT on the American landscape and pass it off as EVIDENCE.

I fear for Trump and what “they” have in the works next.

Agree. However, they expected to get away with it, as you stated, but also they expected a different outcome. Their outcome was stopped. Just like POTUS outcome. When Ford showed up with an array of high powered operatives it was to salvage the plan crafted by the two beach friends. The beach friends created the attack not planning to have to actually testify. They gained support from Senate Dems to drop the last minute bomb and expected a withdraw from Kav or POTUS, the expected outcome. Neither happened. Then they needed to bring in help to carefully craft a story to either salvage the result or protect her and the Senators involved. Not really a coverup but more of a cleanup was/is happening. Those senators and operatives have fear and financial risk to consider. Protecting their own or letting it unravel is the choice. Neither is good. My take is the voters are chipping away at the corruption because it is becoming more and more transparent. The light is being shown for all to see. There will be some in the media and Congress and hopefully DOJ /FBI who will eventually take the high road. Either out of protecting themselves or their instituion or both. It is just a progression. The build up of visibility of the corruption is forcing change.
Interestingly, the treatment of some in society over the past 20-30 years bubbled up with attacks on law enforcement which were recently quelled by FBI investigations but “justice” was elusive. Meanwhile, the communities want solutions, jobs, fair treatment, an end to violence and corruption. The “American Dream” is their goal. Voters sense a Sea Change in President Trump. They expect real results. The momentum of that desire for fairness, peace, prosperity, an end to violence and corruption is building and inevitable. The people want this change without violence and destruction. We are in this together to save our society. The fringes and the corrupt vestiges in their death throes are visible and transparent, seeking survival. Paying protesters for Saul Alinsky tactics are not working. But not this time. POTUS plays the game better and has real numbers of people supporting change. Americans demand solutions.

If I may add, they have no fear of POTUS either.

It has been my opinion for quite some time that the executive branch (all branches actually) have Trump in check. Over the past two years, POTUS has met with RR telling him to release documents to congress, RR runs to Ryan and POTUS is defied, Mueller is rogue with raids and expanding to swamp friendly SDNY, POTUS orders release of classified documents, then walks it back, RR “wearing a wire” has been swept under the carpet. In each scenario, and others, it appears POTUS is being defied, ignored or challenged by subordinates. Many spin this into a “trust Trump, he’s moving pieces, gaining leverage”. There is no evidence of that whatsoever and certainly we have seen no change in outcomes based on any POTUS action. On the contrary, when POTUS has leverage, HE USES IT, he doesn’t sit on it for half his term. Ask Justin, May, Kim, et al. Something is very wrong in the Executive Branch.

Last night McConnell made a statement that told me status quo will prevail going forward. Laura asked Mitch regarding Ford and company, paraphrasing ” Will you prosecute those who made fraudulent statements?” Mitch said, “we need to investigate” Laura responded “but you need to hold them accountable to prevent this happening again” Mitch interrupts “But you’re

SD has asked us Treepers to put on our thinking caps. Here’s my contribution.

for decades Americans have been conditioned to expect televised war. Now we have an administration that plays its hand close.to its vest and we assume nothing is happening because we haven’t been told about it on the evening news. Older, wiser me looks back and sees that all those briefings by General Schwarzkopf were intended to give the enemy just enough to keep the war going while giving the appearance that our troops were doing all they could to win. Obama was less discreet, but the goal.was the same.

Most of the government’s agencies have a website with a press releases page. Lots of good things are happening, but because the MSM doesn’t report on them and Americans have been conditioned to wait to be fed information and not search it out for ourselves, they go unnoticed. Each cabinet position represents a sector of the swamp that is now headed by someone willing to drain it. There is not one giant drain pipe stoppered and clogged but many smaller ones. Example: Mick Mulvaney at CFPB. We havent heard anything so it must mean nothing is happening, according to logic applied to the most visible battles like Spygate.

You are right, this is war, and POTUS is winning on every front. I had all but given up on Kavanaugh, cause it required depending on the Flakes of the world, and no way was I going to expend any emotional energy on scum. But POTUS has all but won this one as well.

So, if he is winning everywhere, why the doom and gloom amongst Treepers re the Swamp? Obviously due to lack of perp walks, right? But what if lack of perp walks is part of a winning strategy? Play possum, gather intel, squeeze the one’s already in strife and hope to catch some whales. That is my take on the lack of perp walks to date.

POTUS does not know how to lose, and he is busy catching the deep state crooks, and they do not know who all are in the net. Count on this. Appearance of inaction is not evidence of inaction. POTUS is winning on every other front, so it is a brave call to bet against him here.

This goes back to the Clinton Administration. Most of the characters involved are Clinton acolytes that started their careers in the early 90’s under Bill Clinton. Remember that the Clintons saw Republicans not just as political opposition, but as heretical obstructionists that needed to be destroyed. They got a hold of FBI files of various Congress people and used the DOJ for their own ends. Cut to the Obama Admin and these young Clinton acolytes are now Senior DOJ officials. Post 9/11 / Patriot Act, the surveillance state has drastically expanded. Obama puts loyal SJW’s in key positions (Holder, Lynch et al). I believe that from the start, the Obama administration was using the DOJ and FISA databases to conduct opposition research and blackmail / threaten opponents (John Roberts?). These people have been burrowing into the administrative state for 3 decades now. Solution? After the election, Trump needs to appoint a special counsel or at the very least fire just about everybody at Justice and the FBI. If it didn’t actually happen, it wouldn’t actually be believable.

The attack on Brett Kavanaugh was unprecedented in it’s size and scope, unsuspected because of the recent, relatively peaceful confirmation of Justice Niel Gorsuch (at least in comparison). When it was learned that Judge Kavanaugh had close ties to George W. Bush, many thought he was the ultimate Washington insider, himself a creature of the swamp because of the many years he served there. Some, including myself, weren’t thrilled about him being nominated because of said association.

However, the question will linger, why such a brutal assault on a man reported to be of such virtue? One statement that Kavanaugh made in his hearing may provide a clue. Although I don’t have the exact quote in front of me, he mentioned that, among other reasons, that this was a coordinated attack by the Clintons (or their allies). After considering some of the responses by other Treepers, this starts to make some sense.

Kavanaugh was part of the Whitewater investigation, of course. Not only that, he was also directly involved in the investigation of the “suicide” of Vince Foster (as my octogenarian mother asked yesterday, “How did he shoot himself in the back?”) The Clintons survived the Special Prosecutors investigation and President Bill Clinton remained in office in large part due to the blackmail operation that Hillary ran that collected dirt on both political friend and foe alike. The Clintons are EVIL.

Remember Hillary’s comment to Donna Brazil about hanging on the end of a rope? Somehow, I surmise, that soon to be Justice Kavanaugh knows something, and it is what he knows that has made him Public Enemy Number One to the Deep State. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, maybe it’s a whack nut conspiracy theory, IDK. It does make some sense, though. After all, if it didn’t actually happen, it wouldn’t actually be believable…

There’s a long memorandum authored by Kavanaugh 20 yrs ago (August 1998) telling his Ken Starr Committee that Bill Clinton’s behavior w/ Monica in the WH was “reprehensible” and a lot of other things. This has festered with Bill and HRC all these years and they were gonna get him.

Another piece of evidence that has not been mentioned is the terrorist training camp in New Mexico, discovered earlier this year. A few days after the camp was discovered, the FBI bulldozed the camp. And the media barely mentioned this.

I interpret this evidence as essentially proof that there is deep corruption in the FBI, and much more corruption going on than we are currently able to see.

Reading the book, “Let Trump Be Trump” by Corey Lewandowski and Dave Bossie, at this time, the next to the last chapter, “The Transition” says that Reince Priebus convinced Trump to put a GOP-E team into place, so that he could become more establishment. Also, they were very concerned about the number of outsiders that were able to sneak into the transition. They were all there, and certainly Swamp members were vying/jockeying along with others for positions.

Trump seems to have gotten rid of some of them. I do believe he becomes aware very quickly of who is whom, using his measuring rod LOYAL/DISLOYAL. It is of primary importance to him; nothing supercedes it. He allowed Spicer and Katie Walsh in, knowing they were against him before he won. He said outloud at a celebration dinner around this time, “imagine, being against me and asking me for a job”. Spicer had not attended the dinner; when Walsh heard the comment, she got up and left.

So the enemy is present, at all times. I do trust Trump to find out. He is working with them, in the form of McConnell, etc.to accomplish his agenda. But I think his radar picks up all of them. We can trust him, and pray that all will come to light, and that he continues to drain the swamp. May God be with him and bless the work.

I think they worry about consequences, but assumed it would never get this far. They believed either the Republicans would bend like they have for decades and/or Kavanaugh would drop out. Now their scheme is exposed, people are angry, and a full cleansing of our DOJ and FBI is justified.

Excellent post by Sundance. And reading the comments of my fellow Treepers- some fabulous suggestions. Many have been mentioning the legal angle- that so many of the corrupt elements from the DOJ and FBI are lawyers. And that got me to thinking that, that probably isn’t a coincidence that Obama, Hillary and Bill were all lawyers too. To an average person lawyers seem intimidating with all of their jargon and forceful arguments. So it does appear that the Clinton’s began to stack the agencies with left-leaning attorneys and then Obama found some way of weaponizing it, just like he did with the IRS. Lawyers seem to be the link. So the first thing PDJT should do (when he actually gets a chance) is to fire the top lawyers in those departments. They must have some way of communicating with each other that probably isn’t through the government servers. (Maybe earlier it was during those weaponized PDB’s??? And now through an ABA portal???) They also seem to communicate with Lawfare , not surprisingly. Maybe replace those lawyers with ones from Judicial Watch (one other poster mentioned that and I thought that was great!) and maybe lawyers from our military.
Also, choosing a good AG. This one is tricky and I don’t pretend that I know of any good names. But when these plots are uncovered, to know you have someone who can run an efficient investigation that is honest and brutal with the punishment. Swiftness is also key, because one of their main tactics is to delay. Push out those subpoenas ASAP. Make the rats want to flee these agencies by themselves- encourage them to do the dirty work for us by making it an unpleasant place for them to survive.
And, I would say try to re-jig the 4th Element- the media. I detest the AP and Reuters and they write a tremendous amount of the press these days because it is just cut and paste onto other newspapers. PDJT should encourage someone to compete with these 2 monstrosities. And the AG needs to have a spokes person – someone like Sarah Sanders- who can push back brilliantly and who does the news shows on Fox, articles with the WSJ (interviews with Kimberly Strassel), and then information sent to the Daily Mail and the National Enquirer (because in the end of the day- the dirty deeds need to get press and millions need to read about it!).
Just my 2 humble cents in a line of some pretty awesome comments up above!

Come 5 pm today PT will know if his Judicial back is now covered.

Once K is confirmed PT IMO should come out swinging immediately IMO with tweets on Sun/Mon letting the American people he will be exposing the whole Russian Collusion Conspiracy and prosecuting all Deep State conspirators by starting with the IG report (this should be a strong indicator if the Deep State has been crippled or not and if PT’s leverage is in play)

By exposing the FISA, 302’s, Ohr communication and additional texts/emails BEFORE the mid-terms would provide more R and Independent voter incentive to get the Dems/Deep State out of power.

Then on Nov 7 with the House and Senate firmly in R control, IMO PT should fire Rosenstein, Wray and Sessions and tell the American people he is cleaning house to cleanse the country from the evils of the Deep State and returning the country to the rule of law.

The new Senate should have no qualms with confirming a new AG and FBI Director after everything they have gone through these past 2 years.

The road map is there, the path has been cleared, the opportunity is there to totally clean house and bring all offenders to justice. So the ball is 100% in PT’s court to crush the Deep State.

I will be watching intently to see how this final chapter plays out.

No mercy is all I hope!

    • “Final chapter”? I think it’s probably closer to “the end of the beginning”. Firing the top levels of FBI/DOJ will be the start of the war. My concern is that a war like that, internally, will hamper PDJT externally in his dealings with other countries. This could lead to other countries seeing PDJT as weakened and/or pre-occupied. I don’t have the answer. Just an observation. It’s a complicate business.

  38. In hindsight, upon his election/inauguration, Trump should have asked for the resignation of anyone ever nominated/appointed by Obama. Media would have wailed, but he could rightfully argue he wanted a clean slate with his own people.

It wouldn’t have completely drained the swamp, but it would have been a good start.

So much damage was done by Obama holdovers burrowed in the Trump administration in those early months.

Honestly, at this time it looks like between Soros, DNC, media, academia, established political oligarchs, high tech, Chamber of Commerce, and nefarious department heads, this is an impossible task. The best we can do now is to continuously fight a delaying action to prolong this downward slide for as long a possible.

Before reading the many fine comments from Treepers, I will suggest an alternative to Sundance’s excellent postulation. I tend to lean toward less complex theories of human behavior. There are many who hate and resist our President. There are many who hate the idea of losing their precious right to kill babies. They seek legal santifications of socialist ideals.

Leftist activists do not exist in a vacuum. They discuss how to attack our people and our system. I believe the former fbi “beach friend” knew of Ford’s connection to Kavanaugh from her HS days, and perhaps she had suggested something happened via therapy “reconstruction” that starting fitting a narrative. They had read and were aware of Judge’s fictional book about the wild party days. Combine that with a deep desire to submarine the nomination. It’s not hard to see how they would hatch the plot. Then beach friend engages Democrat operatives via DiFi and gets connected to the key plumbers and pipe fitters who help construct the strategy, develop the letter, fashion the narrative and timing. It takes a life of its own, cheered on by beach friend and others, but possibly, not as enthusiastically by Ford, as she has to be the drug mule in this whole saga.

They didn’t need confidence that they had cover at every agency. They had cover from DiFi and Schumer, who ultimately drove this from the get go. I simply believe they were convinced Kavanaugh would fold up and withdraw. He didn’t. Then they pushed for delays. The key here is their demand for more investigation by the FBI. I think that was the final delay tactic. If they had the FBI in their pocket, they would have “evidence” emerge to create one more primary doubt. That didn’t happen. Grassley and President Trump outplayed their hand throughout. They knew about the dubious actions going on, knew information to utilize when questioning Ford, which has resulted in evident perjury. Then they limited the investigation to one week, which was concocted with (or strongly suggested to) Flake as an agreeable compromise.

Yes we have many bad elements with these departments. After the elections, time to cut the wheat from the chaff, and toss the waste into the fire. More than ever, I know our mighty President Trump is in charge, and will save our Republic!

Agreed – Occam’s razor at work.

I don’t think Ford expected to testify. Things spun out of control when she was outed. Thus they had to delay the hearing to get her ready. Even with the delay she, and her attorneys, weren’t ready. She blew so many basic questions, like “Who paid for the lie detector test?” “What day was administered?” The Senate Dem’s also didn’t think it would go this far, they thought the R’s would cave like they usually do. They were screwed when the usual didn’t happen. They had to play it out because their base would have exploded had they not. Thus they looked foolish.

Grassley also sandbagged her and her attorneys (old boyfriend statement to SJC). Graham’s righteous anger was good theater, but does anybody think it was off the cuff stuff?

Where I will give the GOP credit is that they led on the issue. The majority of American’s saw this sham for what it was, they just wanted to see if their politicians saw the same thing.

Just remember what Al Gump Gore said all those years ago, “There is no controlling legal authority that says this was in violation of law.” That was in the 1990’s. We have to all understand that this plot started over a century ago, probably even longer than that. It had to be implemented very slowly to make it work, to put people in place over decades. To take over the presidency is easy because it is one person. The legislature takes much longer because of all the different people and constant elections, and the media as well. People moving in and out of positions. The court was and is a better option because the court can even overturn the will of the voters. They’ve been doing that in California for decades. Not to mention all the stagecraft that has been implemented to get the citizenry to go along with all their disgusting, immoral, filth that permeates our television, movies, music, internet. Let’s face facts, look at all that decent people “tolerate” in order to not be chastised or ridiculed. Even our religious institutions have been corrupted beyond belief. We literally have the corruptocrats running everything, but the recognition on the part of millions of Americans that something has gone horribly wrong is at least a first step in at least attempting to right the ship. This is a game to these demons, and sadly we got to used to, having those who were supposed to represent and speak for us, losing.

I do not find the current situation any more diabolical nor redeemable than earlier administrations. That is the price of having a republic if, as old Ben said, ” you can keep it”. That is up to the electorate. None of the shenanigans has changed that, though we may see this as extra specially diabolical as it is in the moment. That may also be directly related to the electoral push back of a Trump election.

I give no special benefit to the opposition, broadly defined. It was ever thus. In the age of social media it just makes it acute, rapid, disingenuous and immediate, as well as just as ephemeral as new facts come to light.

I am optimistic, not despairing. Everyday we have evidence that good people, do indeed fight back. I am with them. And bugger all those who try to undermine the Constitution and its body of laws. One step at a time.

Frontline has a new hit piece on Trump, this one specifically about Muh Russia. I watched a portion of it this morning and laughed out loud that they’re trying to keep this washed up nothingburger propped up. It was originally aired on 10/02 so it’s very recent but production must have begun months earlier, probably at a time when the Dems were still hopeful that Trump himself would be charged with something. I’m surprised PBS is even airing this mess, and it is a mess. It’s a shame we taxpayers are funding it in any sort of way. Maybe in his second term Trump can defund it.

I don’t think Sessions was part of the grand scheme multi-pronged sustained attack plan against Trump but he sure as heck has enabled it. Hillary roams free (when she can walk), Awans are free, McCabe and Strzok are free, Wolfe got a slap on the wrist, nothing has happened to any of the leaking reporters, so we just sit and wait for justice to be done. Will Sessions open a case against Blasey and McLean as he ought to? I’ve given up on him. And my opinion of him soured even further when watching the Frontline episode where I learned (or was reminded) that Trump was in England at the time Sessions held his press conference announcing his recusal and he didn’t even bother to give Trump a heads up. Imagine how Trump felt at that time. He knew the IC heads except Rogers were all attacking him, the Dems had fabricated the dossier and were using it to spy on him, and Comey admitted that the FBI had an investigation open. It’s almost enough to make me cry. If Trump were any less strong than he is all of this stuff would have taken him down.

We need a new AG. The clog will be broken up with a good new AG. Please help our President. Vote straight GOP in November. Give him the House and Senate majorities.

Is it possible that FBI/DOJ know that they are in Deep Yogurt? Because as soon as BK is seated the news is going to return to Congressional investigations against the DS, and it does not look good for them.

The accusations against Kavanaugh were actually started back in 2012 when Mitt Romney was running. Kavanaugh was on Mitt’s short list of SC nomination. 2012 is when Christine Ford started documenting her “assault” with her mystery therapist. Mitt lost . . . Christine was silent . . . until the Kavanaugh hearings. Then Christine, McLean, Eshoo, Feinstein, Katz, Bromwich, etc. put things back in play.
