The Shadow Government Timeline…

CTH always falls back upon timelines to see the larger motives, intents and operational objectives of participants.  No matter which entrance hole you follow down into the labyrinth – eventually you end up finding yourself in the same chamber, the treasury.

Every motive seems to consistently boil down to money.

Ideology without financing is as useful as a pancake to paddle a canoe.

As such – extrapolating from, and adding to, a Breitbart Time Line:

shadow-government-clock

1. June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied.

2. July: Russia joke. Wikileaks releases emails from the Democratic National Committee that show an effort to prevent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) from winning the presidential nomination. In a press conference, Donald Trump refers to Hillary Clinton’s own missing emails, joking: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing.” That remark becomes the basis for accusations by Clinton and the media that Trump invited further hacking.

3. October: Podesta emails. In October, Wikileaks releases the emails of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, rolling out batches every day until the election, creating new mini-scandals. The Clinton campaign blames Trump and the Russians.

4. October: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.

5. January 2017: Buzzfeed/CNN dossier. Buzzfeed releases, and CNN reports, a supposed intelligence “dossier” compiled by a foreign former spy. It purports to show continuous contact between Russia and the Trump campaign, and says that the Russians have compromising information about Trump. None of the allegations can be verified and some are proven false. Several media outlets claim that they had been aware of the dossier for months and that it had been circulating in Washington.

  • Admiral Michael Rogers had a visit with President Trump on Friday, November 11th.
  • According to the Executive Order rule changes DNI James Clapper signed off on December 15th.
  • General Michael Flynn spoke to the Russian Ambassador on December 29th
  • Dec 29th 2016 – Obama announces sanctions on Russia

shadow-government

6. January: Obama expands NSA sharing. As Michael Walsh later notes, and as the New York Times reports, the outgoing Obama administration “expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.” The new powers, and reduced protections, could make it easier for intelligence on private citizens to be circulated improperly or leaked.

The new rules, which were issued in an unclassified document, entitled Procedures for the Availability or Dissemination of Raw Signals Intelligence Information by the National Security Agency (NSA), significantly relaxed longstanding limits on what the NSA may do with the information gathered by its most powerful surveillance operations.

These operations are largely unregulated by American wiretapping laws. Surveillances include collecting satellite transmissions, phone calls, and emails that cross network switches abroad, and messages between people abroad that cross domestic network switches.

The changes initiated by the Obama Administration in its waning days empowered far more agents and officials to search through raw intelligence data.

  • Jan 3rd 2017 – Loretta Lynch signs off on rule changes for phone taps.
  • Jan 12th 2017 –  WaPo reports On Phone Calls Anonymous Intel Sources
  • Jan 15th 2017 – VP Pence appears on Face the nation.
  • Jan 20th 2017 – Inauguration
  • Jan 23rd 2017 –  FBI reports nothing unlawful in content of Flynn call
  • Jan 26th 2017 – Sally Yates (acting DOJ) informs President Trump there might be a conflict between VP Pence’s stated TV version (was told by Flynn), and what Intel community communicate to Yates that Flynn actually expressed to Russia.
  • Jan 27th 2017 – White House counsel begins investigation to discrepancy.

7. January: Times report. The New York Times reports, on the eve of Inauguration Day, that several agencies — the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Treasury Department are monitoring several associates of the Trump campaign suspected of Russian ties.

Other news outlets also report the existence of a multi-agency working group to coordinate investigations across the government,” though it is unclear how they found out, since the investigations would have been secret and involved classified information.

8. February: Mike Flynn scandal. Reports emerge that the FBI intercepted a conversation in 2016 between future National Security Adviser Michael Flynn — then a private citizen — and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. The intercept supposedly was  part of routine spying on the ambassador, not monitoring of the Trump campaign. The FBI transcripts reportedly show the two discussing Obama’s newly-imposed sanctions on Russia, though Flynn earlier denied discussing them.

Sally Yates, whom Trump would later fire as acting Attorney General for insubordination, is involved in the investigation. In the end, Flynn resigns over having misled Vice President Mike Pence (perhaps inadvertently) about the content of the conversation.

9. February: Times claims extensive Russian contacts. The New York Times cites “four current and former American officials” in reporting that the Trump campaign had “repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials. The Trump campaign denies the claims — and the Times admits that there is “no evidence” of coordination between the campaign and the Russians. The White House and some congressional Republicans begin to raise questions about illegal intelligence leaks.

10. March: the Washington Post targets Jeff Sessions. The Washington Postreports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions had contact twice with the Russian ambassador during the campaign — once at a Heritage Foundation event and once at a meeting in Sessions’s Senate office.

The Post suggests that the two meetings contradict Sessions testimony at his confirmation hearings that he had no contacts with the Russians, though in context (not presented by the Post) it was clear he meant in his capacity as a campaign surrogate, and that he was responding to claims in the “dossier” of ongoing contacts.

The New York Times, in covering the story, adds that the Obama White House “rushed to preserve” intelligence related to alleged Russian links with the Trump campaign. By “preserve” it really means “disseminate”: officials spread evidence throughout other government agencies “to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators” and perhaps the media as well.

In summary: the Obama administration sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the NSA rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government, virtually ensuring that the information, including the conversations of private citizens, would be leaked to the media.

No, what they are saying is that, based on an assessment by the intelligence agencies, that Nationalism would win the day. Trump happened to be the one running on the Nationalist platform. Based on their predictive model, they knew that HRC could not win.

Oprah being laughable? It doesn’t matter. Obama was dismissed as well. It doesn’t matter who the front person is. If they want them to win, they can generally make that happen. Laughable? We have a lot of stupid and uninformed citizens.

No offense but I feel dumber for watching this video. The guy is clearly not a top level NSA operative: he literally gives no details. This is just a poor man infowar that is hawking its website stateofthenation, which itself is just a typical ripoff blog of other sites and pushing ZOG clickbait. Claiming George Soros is 100 years old and the group he works with is astrologers and psychics to save America is disheartening. I want to agree with these guys on the hypotheticals but Hilary Clinton’s father being the head of the Chicago mob yet allowing Obama into the white house is just contradictory; its not even addressed how this could be possible. Many of these “facts” are mentioned in passing without any rational explanation. These two guys are conspiracy theorists who don’t back up anything they say with detailed observations or documents. Blaming the Rothschilds is convenient, but not revealing of anything significant. No paper trail or operation connections. I’ve heard this stuff before and none of it is confirmable. Also a quick look at the I.M.F. country entry dates shows that almost all of them did not enter under times of great duress or threat of war, so this “nsa” guy completely wrong here; there was no conspiracy of war to blackmail them in into the imf and world bank.

The interviewer was hard to listen to at times. It’s the guy he was interviewing that is former NSA. There’s a whole hidden, shadow control that is deeply imbedded all over the world. What they are saying is that President Trump is the wrecking ball, similar to how George Washington was in the French & Indian War, and he is fighting multiple shadow revolutionary forces attempting to take America down.

    • You remove security clearances. They are the keys to the power kingdom. Trump should sign an executive order which removes all security clearance for Obama admin appointees. Any information they need to make decision will be sourced from Trump approved security clearance personel. This will have two positive outcomes;

1st. It cripples the leftover deep state while still being accountable for their job performance(although we are only doing this until they can be fully replaced)
2nd. It will scare the sh*t out of any long term deep staters because their ONLY source of power to get the $$ folks to pay attention to them is information. Without clearances, no information. Make an example of people who are not team players and the real career people will fall in line for the long game as they will wait out 4 to 8 years to start up their scheming plans.

Believe me, the security clearances are the key.

Don’t forget McCain’s participation in peddling the “dossier”. I believe he sent someone to Europe to retrieve a copy. Then, before or simultaneous to forwarding it to the FBI (or other IC players) he shared it with Lindsay Graham (by Graham’s own admission) and possible / probably others. While it may have occurred, I have heard no one question McCain on his involvement with the “dossier”. Why did he felt obliged to retrieve it, why did he share it with Graham and importantly who else did he provide access to.

These events took place during the 2016 campaign and a testimony given on January 10th, and yet WaPo just happens to make it a “breaking news” story the right after President Trump’s epic speech in the first of March? Problem for them is that for most Americans this type of thing has an extremely short shelf life that gets exponentially shorter ever time they use it. The more they talk about Russia, and the longer this story stagnates, the more they look like lunatics in the eyes of the average citizen. We are winning the war, it’s just gonna take some time. 🙂

Yes, they do. We were so sick of the blue dress that we didn’t care if Bill shot her and buried her so to speak. Just stop talking about it. I’ve been thinking about what’s going on a lot and I trust Trump totally.

Netanyahu (Israel’s MOSSAD) has pretty good spy capabilities and I’m sure Trump is getting lots of juicy nuggets from them, and his son-in-law, Jarred Kushner went to Israel.
Trump doesn’t trust everyone in the FBI, CIA or NSA, so I’m thinking he’s leaning on Israel for intelligence and who would he be looking for information on?

Few people know that back in the 80’s-90’s the governments of the world made a deal. It’s against the law for the US to spy on citizens but it’s not against the law for Israel, Germany or Britain to spy on US citizens. To get around that, they all spied on each others citizens then swapped information!

So while it may be against the law for Trump to spy on Obama, Pelosi or Schumer, it is not against the law for Israel to spy on them and they can tell ANYONE THEY WANT TO!
It’s my guess that Trump is meeting with them or when he takes his trips to Florida he could be using grounds that he controls for meetings with people who are there before he gets there. One thing is for sure, Trump isn’t stupid and he has many tools at his disposal, including cash!

I seriously think Israel is fully willing to help Trump jail Obama and the other crooked dems who helped Obama screw them, and we have to remember, they’ve committed many, many crimes, but there wasn’t anyone to investigate them, not even the media.
Trump has the will and the means and they’ve gave him ample reason beyond personal reasons to justify it. Look for something big, YUGE even, fairly soon I would think.

One last thing. The meetings with the Russians may have not been mentioned because they were gathering evidence on Obama and his cronies for when Trump took office! The uranium deal and the Iran deal! Later we found out Obama gave Iran a load of cash like we found out later about the terrorists for traitor swap.

Many dems were against the Iran deal until the met with the guess who? The Russians! We all know the dems accuse you of what they are doing and Obama may have wanted to spy on Trump to find out what he was learning!!!! It’s gonna get good!

You are so right too about the Dems always projecting their own issues onto their opponents. They’re racists so they say everyone else is, they’re sexists so they say everyone else is, they have close ties with Russia so they say everyone else has close ties with Russia, and the list goes on and on and on. Things are about to get really good indeed! 😀 😀 😀

and the Heat Street article mentioned in the McCarthy article above
    https://heatst.com/world/exclusive-fbi-granted-fisa-warrant-covering-trump-camps-ties-to-russia/

Important paragraph from the Heat article:

The FISA warrant was granted in connection with the investigation of suspected activity between the server and two banks, SVB Bank and Alfa Bank. However, it is thought in the intelligence community that the warrant covers any ‘US person’ connected to this investigation, and thus covers Donald Trump and at least three further men who have either formed part of his campaign or acted as his media surrogates. The warrant was sought, they say, because actionable intelligence on the matter provided by friendly foreign agencies could not properly be examined without a warrant by US intelligence as it involves ‘US Persons’ who come under the remit of the FBI and not the CIA. Should a counter-intelligence investigation lead to criminal prosecutions, sources say, the Justice Department is concerned that the chain of evidence have a basis in a clear warrant.

Convenient of the CIA to help out right after nothing was found by the FBI in the original investigation. That FISA is what opened the door for the IC’s to run amuck on the entire campaign.

Something tells me we could wind up seeing a former President and some of his cronies his jail. Obama was never for America. He spent his 8 years trying to tear us down. We have a chance to build it back up if we stand by President Trump and shut down the Democrats that are following Obama’s lead.

I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I currently reside in Queens, NY. As a New Yorker, we want everything done now no matter what has to happen to get it done. I am so grateful that our President who also comes from NYC is taking a different approach. Many folks on CTH the last couple of days are calling for arrests, hangings etc. Many are disappointed in our AG for being to nice and to good. I thank God everyday that our President and our AG take the loooong game approach.

SD told us recently that we need to realize our President is playing the long game when it comes to DACA and detailed why this was the best strategy. Many want him to revoke it yesterday and can’t understand why it hasn’t happened.

I will share a story from today. I work for the NYC DOE. It is a liberal cesspool where our Chancellor everyday tells us to protect our illegals. It sickens me but I have eleven years before I can retire so I put up with it. 2 principals called me today to share that their register projection for next year is to high and they will lose a lot of funding because they will not come close to reaching it. I told them I was surprised to hear that because historically they always reach it. They said ICE has been taking parents and kids were leaving with them. As much as I want that to be true, their liberal bias could not recognize that these families have and once the summer gets here will continue to self deport by the thousands. Our President’s EO and identifying fraud as an item for deportation has scared the s….t out of them. Stories like what happened to the woman from AZ and the 22 year old from Mississippi makes it all real for them. Trump never needed a deportation squad. It is happening amazingly quietly and there is nothing that can be done to stop it.

I share this because I believe the same analogy is true about Obozo and this Shadow Government. These morons never ever taught HRC would lose. If they taught that would happen it would have been Jeff or Marco or another Rino that would tow the company line. They were careless over his 8 years. Almost to the point that they rubbed it in your face. 1,400 sex traffickers have been arrested this past month. We aren’t hearing much but believe me Obozo and the rest are well aware. T-Rex wants a full audit of the Iran Deal. What will be found is a treasure trove of illegal stuff. This will INCLUDE their relationship with the Russians to get that Iran deal done.

Please be patient because the anticipation of death is far worse than death itself!

Fellow NYC girl – yes, we created the concept of a NY minute but you are right – this is a long term strategy. I’m frustrated with those who seem not to understand what goes into all of this and why it takes time.

I’m willing to wait a bit if necessary to MAGA. I’d rather drain the swamp and see many answer for their crimes than have a symbolic high profile hanging or two.

Self deportation is definitely occurring. Apparently, the US Passport offices are swamped as illegals seek to obtain passports for their US born children. It’s darn near impossible to get served in some locations. There was a news report that went on and on how this mother tried for days to get in line outside the building starting earlier and earlier and kept failing to make it inside. Then it let slip another woman in line was illegal and she was seeking a passport for her US born child so if she gets deported the child can leave with her. http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2017/02/27/passport-centers-overwhelmed-as-immigration-enforcement-ramps-up/ Google “Passport Lines” and you will see a lot of mostly California stories about the lines being formed at 2am and many people being turned away. It’s all over the locations with large numbers of illegal aliens. If you need to renew a US passport you had better do it sooner rather than later.

All that’s needed to reach a tipping point is to make some changes to eVerify to fix the problems between the Social Security Administration and the IRS. Then tighten the laws up along with serious penalties on employers who fail to use eVerify. Have a few large profile ICE raids of some of the worst offender employers and make sure the news crews are there as the company officials are frog marched and all their HR documents boxed up and removed by ICE agents. They shouldn’t even bother picking up the illegal aliens unless they are known criminals. Just arrest the company management. Blast that all over the news and bingo, problem solved. Employers will very quickly audit their HR records and clean house very quickly. The less the government has to do the better for everyone.

If eVerify can be made solid and reliable and the IRS and SSA records can be cleaned up and the fraud removed it could be used all over the place. Like being used to put a citizen stamp on your drivers license photo ID. Useful for voter registration, etc. This is in addition to federal ID which is issued to legal non-citizens.

Jbrickley: Thanks for your excellent post! It reminded me that a few weeks ago I went to my local P.O. to send a Priority Mail. I NEVER go there on Saturdays, but this time I had no choice. Keep in mind I live in a suburb, but am right outside one of the Chicago City limits. The lines were out the door, only three workers, and two were processing visas. So I went to the next suburb; it was even worse! The third suburb was 20 minutes away but had one line only for mailings, and I flew through that one. All other lines were visas. I have never seen anything like that and I am well into what are supposed to be my golden years.

As to E-verify, I know it needs to be tweeked or replaced, which would have to be done by Congress, but I wish PTrump would at least EO making usage mandatory right now. Something is better than nothing. I also read an article I think was from Sundance that reflects EEOC has forbidden some practices that PTrump could also EO out, I think.

Lastly, ICE has been pretty quiet; the newspapers haven’t been screaming too much, just isolated instances. I wonder if they are lying low or making new plans for raids?

I still don’t understand what evidence was strong enough to compel FISA to OK surveillance on a billionaire businessman that has worldwide real estate holdings. Wouldn’t Trump have dealings with many foreign banks? Even if he did have contact with Russian banks, (which he apparently didn’t) why is that out of the ordinary?

    Also…

“The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services”

If no evidence was found, why was it allowed to continue? Why didn’t FISA make sure it ended there? National security reasons is absolute nonsense. This boils down to nothing more than spying not only on a private citizen, but one party being allowed to spy on an opposing party

Just whom is on the bench of the FISA Court?

US Defense Secretary Gen. James Mattis’ plan to appoint former US ambassador to Cairo Anne Patterson as Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, the third top Pentagon position, is causing disquiet in American Jewish circles and Jerusalem. When Patterson headed the US embassy in Cairo in 2011-2013, she actively promoted the Obama administration’s policy to raise the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi to power in the wake of President Hosni Mubarak’s ouster. She developed close ties with the Brotherhood, actively speaks on their behalf in Washington and is also seen as an advocate for the extremist Palestinian Hamas.

Soros has learned that with enormous reserves of unethically earned money at his disposal he has the power to make the once unthinkable acceptable. His work as a self-professed “amoral” financial speculator has left millions in poverty when their national currencies were devaluated, and he channelled so much cash into moulding former Soviet republics to his liking that he has bragged that the former Soviet empire is now the “Soros Empire.”

Ominously, he has now turned his amoral eye on the internal affairs of the United States. A high-profile megabucks donor to the Clinton campaign, it was recently exposed by WikiLeaks that Soros issued directives on foreign policy to Clinton when she was Secretary of State – instructions that she followed to the letter.

His enormous donations to the American ruling class have earned him a seat in the shadow government, pulling puppet strings behind the scenes. So what does Soros think about the nation he immigrated to from his native Hungary in 1956? Today’s U.S., he writes in his latest book, “The Bubble of American Supremacy,” is a “threat to the world.” We have become a “supremacist” nation.

Soros told the New York Times in 1994. “I am something unnatural. I’m very comfortable with my public persona because it is one I have created for myself. It represents what I like to be as distinct from what I really am. You know, in my personal capacity I’m not actually a selfless philanthropic person. I’m very much self-centered.”

Next to my fantasies about being God, I also have very strong fantasies of being mad,” Soros said on British TV. “In fact, my grandfather was actually paranoid. I have a lot of madness in my family. So far I have escaped it.“

In his book “Soros on Soros,” he says: “I do not accept the rules imposed by others…. And in periods of regime change, the normal rules don’t apply.” Clearly, Soros considers himself to be someone who is able to determine when the “normal rules” should and shouldn’t apply.
