Senator Ted Cruz Has an Unstable Glenn Beck Problem – The Beck, Barton and Mercer Connections…

In response to Sarah Palin’s endorsement of candidate Donald Trump, an apoplectic Glenn Beck has announced his intent to rally with Ted Cruz in Waterloo Iowa.

glenn-beck-rally-pic_550x310cruz canadian

However, the event itself is being organized by a pro-Cruz group ‘Keep the Promise 1’ (KtP1), a Super-pac originally funded by billionaire hedge-funder Robert Mercer., KtP is also directly attached to  to David Barton.

David Barton is Co-Chair for Glenn Beck’s Mercury One charity, and the assembly of interests provides an opportunity to explain how all of these entities connect.

david barton 3

david barton 2

Billionaire Robert Mercer originally funded KtP to promote candidate Ted Cruz.  Eventually three pro-Cruz KtP enterprises were started but not before $500,000 was transferred to start up another Super-PAC for Carly Fiorina, “Carly for America” (CfA).

fiorina 1

The Federal Election Commission sent an inquiry directed to KtP, requesting an explanation of why a Pro-Cruz Super-PAC would be funding the start up of a Pro-Carly Super-PAC.  -LINK-

The financial transfer remains a mystery, but common sense and a look at the timing of the transfer, would indicate this was a way for Robert Mercer to hedge his bets (no pun intended) in the event candidate Fiorina gained more traction than candidate Cruz.  Mercer obviously appearing to want self-interested influence with both candidates.

According to recent reports, the extraordinarily wealthy influence agent, Robert Mercer, currently owes the IRS somewhere between $6 billion and $10 billion dollars.  From a position of motive inquiry, if he can help purchase a White House victory for either candidate, obviously the scales could be tipped in his favor.

However, as noted, not long after funding the political committee, the Super-PAC then came under the guidance of Glenn Beck’s friend and business partner David Barton.

david bartonBarton (pictured right) now appears to run “KtP1” in addition to being Co-Chair for Beck’s Mercury One charity.

But the Mercer influence didn’t just stop with the KtP organization.

The billionaire also purchased a controlling stake in Breitbart.Com, an organization who then began promoting a years’ long poll of presidential candidates.

Unknown throughout most of 2015 – in the background for the poll data was actually a secondary Mercer enterprise, Cambridge Analytica.

Cambridge Analytica is a rather spooky enterprise consisting of a massive data-mining operation collecting the information of Breitbart.Com poll users.  This data was then organized, packaged and used for social media micro-targeting and Ted Cruz campaign donation requests.

It is from the Cambridge Analytica data that millions of targeted GOP voters are inundated with Ted Cruz campaign donor requests.

In essence, from all outward appearances, Robert Mercer used his financing to create a massive data set which targeted voters and then, Mercer (via Cambridge Analytica) sells the data to the Ted Cruz campaign via KtP the Super-PAC he funded.  See example FEC filing.

cruz pac 1

The purchases of Cambridge Analytica data (Mercer) are made by KtP1 (Barton) using funds from Mercer.  It’s a money circle with the benefactor of the KtP1 data being the Ted Cruz campaign. By all appearances the financial exchanges are circular.

By funding the Super-PAC KtP, and by using the cover of Cambridge Analytica, Mercer avoids having connection and curious eyes upon his (self-interest) motives.

beck and cruz

Which brings us to Waterloo Iowa this weekend.  Where Glenn Beck is scheduled to appear with Ted Cruz for an endorsement, and KtP is putting on a campaign event with Robert Mercer and Glenn Beck’s guy, David Barton, paying for it.

WATERLOO — Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will return to Waterloo for a rally on Saturday night.

The event, hosted by the Keep the Promise political action committee that is supporting Cruz, will also feature radio personality Glenn Beck, Cruz national co-chairs Steve King and Bob Vander Plaats, and conservative author David Barton. (link)

Glenn Beck has a history of influencing Senator Ted Cruz and by all appearances becomes rather unstable when his personal associations with Cruz are tested.   Last year Glenn Beck felt he did not get enough attention from Ted Cruz and a group of conservative leaders including Sarah Palin during a DC rally against the Iran Deal.

During his Iran Rally meltdown Glenn Beck lashed out at Sarah Palin calling her “a clown”.  – Full Story

But 2015 wasn’t the only Beck meltdown surrounding Ted Cruz.  Beck demanded Cruz attend a Mercury One charity event in Texas (July 2014) where he was passing out “Soccer Balls and Teddy Bears” to illegal aliens from South America.

Beck became rather upset the mainstream media were not giving him enough attention, and was further angered when Senator Cruz’s appearance wasn’t broadcast strongly enough.  – Link

beck 6

The overall border welcome event was met with quite a bit of controversy at the time and led to Beck’s counterpart Dana Loesch attacking various people who disagreed with the overall premise of the event.

An example of the ridiculous pettiness was Beck’s media enterprise even attacked American Thinker’s Thomas Lifson just because Lifson allowed a counter position article showcasing the illogical and counter-intuitive notion of welcoming Illegal Aliens.

Using religion to promote their political enterprises David Barton, Glenn Beck and Raphael Cruz present a very narrow prism that turns off many voters.  It was something we warned about long before the primary season heated up.

Proselytizing as an electoral strategy is divisive because it eventually creates supporters who will ridicule and marginalize their political opponents from a position of questioning their faith.

Religion, faith and the expressions therein, is a profoundly personal issue for most voters and not something that should be used as a weapon to marginalize political opponents.  It also turns people off very quickly; which, in this authors opinion, is exactly what’s happening right now.

Glenn Beck seeing his influence -yet again- limited to a very narrow audience, has begun to lash out in every direction.  Hence, he’s going back to a traditional track record of highly unstable behavior.

Unfortunately for Ted Cruz, the Senator and presidential candidate has enmeshed himself with Beck to such a degree there is no way to escape him.

cruz and beck

Mr. Glenn Beck will continue to circle the drain of irrelevance, make very consequential enemies, and promote an air of intense polarization for his candidate Senator Ted Cruz.

Yes, there is a profound irony in the venue for this latest meltdown, Waterloo Iowa.

….Glenn Beck is indeed Senator Ted Cruz’s Waterloo !

While trashing Cruz’s campaign as “owned” by the corporations, lets never forget that Hillary’s campaign is also owned by the same corporations – and is the candidate that they are really putting their money on to maintain the status quo. Cruz is simply a diversion to try to harm Trump as much as possible before the general election.

This article goes along with what Trump said (several times) – that Cruz did not become a US citizen until 2014.

Wonder what kind of passport Cruz used to travel to Europe in high school?

Cruz has sealed his citizenship records along with school and college records that would show if he was a US or Canadian citizen.

Did Cruz go to school, like Obama, as a foreign student to get special scholarship or admission?

???? Enquiring minds want to know ????

And why can’t we see what’s in those sealed records?! There must be a reason for Cruz to keep this information to himself. Georgia listed some of our most important questions and there are others, and Cruz could clear those up quite simply. If this isn’t Barack Obama 2.0, I don’t know what is!

But after refusing to listen for months, even if Cruz does it now, I don’t think it matters much.

The idea that Cruz is sunk because he has a supporter who is strange or a billionaire supporter who wants influence is simply idiotic. Trump doesn’t even have to look outside himself to be labeled with concerns about strangeness and being money-driven. Cruz is held by the writers against a perfection standard – while Trump can only be examined for his modest list of strong and desirable objectives. Look at Trump’s weaknesses, especially if we consider his past as the best indicator of what he really believes, and Trump would be a complete disaster to any conservative who is honest in the comparison of Trump to Cruz. A lot of stuff could said about why Trump could be an acceptable candidate, but this article criticizing Cruz on the point mentioned is total B.S.

If you really are Interested in TRUTH~~There is an Article here at the “REFUGE”, that tells all about Trumps Upside & Downside~! Trump has always been straight Forward & OUT in the OPEN~! Bad & Good. He has NOT Changed any position since he started his Campaign. Yes, he as firmed up his position’s, but never changed them as Cruz has 7-8 Times so far. { I have observed Trump as an Adult , living in New Jersey– From 1960-1997}

Cruz has 2 Loans that were not declared to the RIGHT Parties~! Cruz IS no in any way a “Natural Born Citizen” of 2 Citizen Parents & he was Not born HERE. Cruz has a Canadian Birth Certificate. Cruz has a dad that was not a US Citizen when he was born in 1970. Ted’s Mother may have become a Canadian Citizen before he was born. Yes, she was born a US Citizen. Also Dual Citizenship, was not possible until 1977, as far as Canada was concerned, Cruz may be a Naturalized Citizen, but right now there is No Way to check that, Ted has sealed his papers, like Obama~1

I could go on, but “Sundance” has provided at the Papers & Proofs of the other actions that Ted Cruz has been involved in, that make his Run for President & V.P. even more questionable. The information, I wrote above, is information I have found myself.

But I just read that since Cruz started attacking Trump — Trump has gone up another 6 points. Polls tight in Iowa but we won’t know until the day who shows up. As you know, registration is the same day in Iowa. With the crowds Trump has gotten it would seem a given that Trump will win in Iowa.

There were several things which converged into a large ‘anvil’ on Ted’s head… However, I cannot help but wonder if people may answer the NBC eligibility question as ‘not sure’ or even ‘no’… but it DOES weigh on them. Because even someone who doesn’t think it’s a problem, can acknowledge that if other people think it’s a problem, it can well become one. IOW, it matters less to some whether Ted’s right or not. Rather, as Trump has clearly stated it represents another ‘hurdle’.

So the helpful types in the MSM or pollsters who look at the lower percentage of ‘yes, it’s a problem’ replies and think it’s no biggie, aren’t seeing the full picture, imo. One of the latests polls on DC Caller, looked to bother 35% of respondents. There was no ‘not sure’… Of the 65% ‘not an issue’… I’d bet that if asked differently, close to half, at least, would say, I think it’s fine, but it may be a problem for Cruz.

    • The only “side” for me is Cruz is a natural born Canadian citizen and not eligible for POTUS and his liberal interpretation of the Constitution charade has brought nothing but confusion and doubt to this race. All the other stuff is noise and distraction, true or untrue.

And that US is $19 trillion dollars in DEBT because politicians, their donors, special interests, lobbyists, and political hacks have been running this country into the ground with their endless wars, murders destroying life all over the world.

We need a businessman who can solve the economic problems. Cruz just turned 45 years old, nothing but a politician like all the others and will just give us more of the same. They’re all talk no action. Except Trump.

You were really thinking ahead. Who would think that a 69 year old rich guy could be responsible for a new type of politics? But in effect it is all about The Art of the Deal. We have been taken to the cleaners by a bunch of fat cat donors who think their money will buy them politicians. Trump could deal with them and win. He doesn’t take their money but offers them a good deal if they would build plants in this country. Once we get millions of Americans working again — the middle class will thrive. As for Social Security — its funded by working people and will be solvent when enough working people are paying for it.

Its all so simple really. The problem has been that those in Washington Politics don’t want this nation to succeed. Trump does — he says he is greedy for America he wants us to win. I pray every night that he will be our next President.
