For those of us who are attuned to the events of the day, and most especially the events NOT happening but should, the next three months are going to be agony.
The Republicans are not going to nix the filibuster.
They’re not going to pass the SAVE Act. Or in fact, any version of election integrity.
ICE will keep doing its job, but at a far lower level than is needed to expel all the invaders to America, or even just the ones invited by our first radically treasonous administration, that of the Corpse-in-Stolen-Office.
They are not going to cement the number of SC justices at nine, as it has been for the last century and a half, even though they know that the radical left WILL blow this up and abuse the increase.
They are not going to cut their many vacations or do any real work. They are not going to spend any $ supporting pro-American candidates, such as Ken Paxton.
They’re not going to condemn the communist organizations financing terror in the United States, or even raise awareness of the growing incursion of the mosques/terrorist training centers/armories/sharia courts threatening our very way of life.
Frankly, I wish they all could be Brandon Gill or Harriet Hageman.
I agree . The GOP senators have stalled and done nothing except the BBB in 2 years. None seem inclined to get Thune out of leadership so I fear both chambers losing their leadership—because they don’t do anything when they are in the majority. This is nothing new, just more obvious because of their hatred of DJT and their desire to get their Dole-Bush- Romney type of GOP back ASAP.

I have been having a rough day today…. so damned angry at these spineless Republicans. With Sayed winning nom for Senate in MI, you can bet he will win…. we are going to lose the House and Senate, because the R’s are too stuck up their own arses.
The Senate has passed absolutely NOTHING that we voted for. NOTHING. Thune is a complete waste of space as a leader, and Collins, Murkowski, et al are just pieces of garbage… they only care about themselves and not this Country.

Minnesota law absolutely says we are to count the paper ballots once election day is over. It is written in many areas of the law.
But Simon’s MO is to write training manuals where the meanings of words are changed, and by doing that the law is changed also.
He has been doing that for years.
Minnesota now has many areas throughout the state where ballots are only counted by machines, never by hand. And they are now telling us that machines are the best, safest way to count.
Nope. Never. Worked my entire life in IT/IS and I don’t buy it for one second.
Even if I did, the law says to count the ballots after the election ends.
They will force this on everyone if we do not end it now.
Please, read the training manual for yourself and see all the laws they are trying to break there.
No counting other than by getting the number off the “counting machine” printout (counting machine is found nowhere in the law).
No longer do two people from different political parties need to take the final paperwork to the county auditor. Nope, in the manual they are saying one person can do it. Yes, it only takes one person to cheat and change the vote, too.
Plus there are places in the manual where they forgot to cover all the bases so it will say one thing one place and the opposite thing somewhere else.

Lastly, when you find things they are doing or saying that are illegal, you can fill out a HAVA form letting Simon and your county auditor know they are not following Minnesota statutes.
Because one of the first things we are told in the training manual is we, as election judges, are to follow the law.

I believe that is the attitude of many, if not most, conservative Minnesotans.

You are a Minnesotan. You can read the training manual linked in my post above. You can find all the statutes and rules online and find where laws are being broken. You can fill out a HAVA elections complaint form. You can do a lot and tell all your Republican/conservative friends to do the same.

We are having our primary election here in TN — tomorrow! Yep…on a Thursday. No idea why 🙂
In any event, there are a couple contests of interest. Firstly, Senator Marsha Blackburn, who just got re-elected 2 years ago, is running for Gov. She has a viable, if long shot, competitor for the nomination in John Rose, a GOP Congressman serving since 2019. It should be a cakewalk for Blackburn, but I’m predicting Rose gets within single digits of her. If she wins, she will be a shoo-in to win in Nov. When she does, TN law proscribes that she gets to name her replacement, and an election to fill the slot only occurs at the NEXT Nov General Election….so the replacement will have at least 2 years in office.
There is a close race in Congressional District #5. The incumbent is Andy Ogles, whom the GOP Establishment just hates. His opponent is a guy named Charlie Hatcher, who served as TN Commissioner of Agriculture between 2019 and 2025. He and his family own a large dairy farm. Both the previous Gov, Haslem, and current Gov, Lee have endorsed Hatcher. Ogles is my current Congress Critter, but the recent redistricting put me in CD 9 that carved up Memphis to try to take the 1 CD that Dems currently have.
Can’t think of any other notable contests fellow Treepers might be interested in in tomorrow’s election.

Something doesn’t add up. So let’s say the pilots were unable to use GPS because of the jamming. Does that mean that they became immediately incapable of flying the plane? Because no GPS?
I understand it might not be as convenient to fly the plane without GPS, but the lack of it causes them to fly into a mountain? If my GPS goes out in my car, it doesn’t mean I’m about to slam into a tree.
