Florida Governor Ron DeSantis contrasts the successful and seamless running of the election in his state last night -without controversy or issue- against the inability of several other states to hold elections with integrity and public confidence. He has a point.
After removing the sketchy county supervisors of elections, suddenly the Florida vote tallying becomes a seamless operation. Additionally, DeSantis openly and very critically calls out media –including Fox News by name– for their manipulative intents.

This is what happens when we have ineffective leadership and it applies to both sides. Our public schools are bastions of socialism, indoctrinating our impressionable kids. This happened because parents were more concerned about bigger cars and houses which required both parents working. In many cases parents stopped trying to fulfill the promise they made before God when they got married and split up. It happened because people became selfish and self-indulgent. And instead of letting God steer our lives, we did it ourselves and this is the mess we have. It is not a once a week church event or every 4 years election. It is a lifetime commitment to let Jesus be in control. It means knowing the difference between wanting something and needing it and making the right choice and allowing God to bless us when He feels it is the right time. The majority of our problems are from poor choices that we make.

Agree. In fact, when my son was young he asked me what life was all about. I gave him the advice I had rec’d as a teenager from a dear aunt. She had told me that life is all about making choices.
I live in Canada and this socialism in schools (including Private schools) started in Grade 4 of our education system. I would help my kids study for tests and was shocked to see the Orwell novel 1984 as mandatory study issued by the Dept of Education. .My son was 9 yrs old! Fortunately, because of my husband’s constant political anti Pierre Trudeau rants, both my children are solid Conservatives. It hasn’t been easy for any of us what with the Pierre and now Justin regimes.
Not to mention, but Florida has two time zones as well and we still got our votes counted efficiently! When I voted yesterday am here in Florida, there were ballots getting rejected by the machine for lines or markings outside of the ovals. Fortunately, the issue was identified immediately and the voter had the opportunity to fill out another ballot if the first one was rejected. I made certain to color within the lines!
I know a lot of conservatives are against early voting, but I think one of the reasons FL got its counting done at a reasonable time (besides DeSantis getting rid of the troublemakers) is because of early voting and that they were counting all along. I think over 60% of the state (including my wife & I) had voted and their votes were counted before E day.
Contrast that with PA, which allowed early vote by mail, but not in person; leaving several million to vote on E day.
And I believe at least one state that had EV, wasn’t allowed to count early votes until E day! What sense does that make?
