The Decepticon senator from Alaska, Lisa Murkowski, is the Nikki Haley of the senate. After voting against Judge Kavanaugh, today, sensing the danger, she changes her position on Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Knowing she would likely be kicked out of office by Alaska voters for blocking the second conservative Trump nominee to the Supreme Court, Murkowski switches her position and announces she will vote to support Judge Amy Coney Barrett next week.
“I believe that the only way to put us back on the path of appropriate consideration of judicial nominees is to evaluate Judge Barrett as we would want to be judged: on the merits of her qualifications, and we do that when that final question comes before us. And when it does, I will be a yes.”

The motive behind this reversal is the obvious… The MAGA coalition is building election momentum at an astonishing rate. All across the nation Trump voters are now fully engaged, making themselves very visible, marching in massive numbers in support and the movement is in full force. It is a joyful display of incredible patriotism.

Murkowski would not have gotten back into the senate had not the arrogant sitting republican senator (man) had he not publicly rejected the support of Governor Sarah Palin. He was ignorant to think he could duplicate his earlier win in Alaska without Governor Palin’s support. I cannot think of his name — his tenure in the senate must have set a record for its brevity.
in the AK primary , Murkowski was defeated by Joe Miller. Cornyn sent RCSC lawyers to Alaska to engineer a write in for Murkowski, which she won. Every vote she takes that is pro-abortion, anti- conservatives on the SC, can be put at the feet of Cornyn. I have written him many times and let him know he is to blame.

Great! Except they’re running my butt into the dirt at work. I leave for Nogales, AZ on a team run in 3 1/2 hours. Once a week, generally sometime from Friday to Sunday I post a “Truckers Report” on the “Open Thread” blog post here telling what I have been up to.
This week of teaming will make it 9 weeks of team driving I have done this year. Getting to be too much for me. If it keeps up I will have to come off this salary job and go back to running the board. I’m only a year away from full SS and reducing my time on the road now.

If Biden wins, Coney’s seat is essentially neutralized as the Dems will move to pack the court almost immediately. The only way Coney’s seat on the court makes a difference is if Trump wins.
I’ve said that they’re talking about resurrecting FDR’s old plan of adding 3 more seats for months. It was aired to see how it would fly with the Party faithful first and got out to little interest with the population as a whole.

I heard that Manchin would not seek re-election. Remains to be seen, though. Just got home from our regular Saturday Trump Rally in Beverly Hills, CA. The crowd is growing exponentially each week. INCREDIBLE. There were several thousand of there, this time spilling over into adjacent blocks from the park that is the meeting point (on Santa Monica Blvd, between Beverly Drive and Canon Drive… by the famous Beverly Hills sign). Lots of cops as usual, who are NOT enforcing the 2-hour parking on the ultra-ritzy neighboring streets. Today, we marched by the thousands from the park, down Beverly Drive, then down Wilshire Blvd, then up Rodeo Drive, back to the park. These are VERY FAMOUS streets and places… we marched by Tiffany’s (the main store of which is next door to Trump Tower in NYC). We marched the FULL WIDTH of these streets, with the cops blocking off the traffic. I’ve been in LA for my entire life and have NEVER walked down the middle of Wilshire Bl!!
The energy is AMAZING. Just wonderful people, radiating LOVE, JOY, PEACE, WISDOM, PASSION AND TRUTH!! Lots of prayer and dancing too. I danced East Coast Swing with a lovely young lady! Also got a dinner date for this week with another lovely lady at least 25 years younger than I am!
I saw a local TV station there (channel 11), but dunno what (if any) coverage this will get.

I read the WSJ column by snotty opinion writer Peggy Noonan. She has forcefully endorsed Joe Biden for President. Now she sees the polls predicting a win for Joe but sees the enthusiasm for President Trump at his rallies. Joe is relaxing in his basement, no hustle and Kamala is dancing and laughing at campaign events. She does not understand this, but she is fearful President Trump may be re-elected. How about that!
P.S. large signs for Trump/ Pence, Graham and Nancy Mace placed on major roads, near shopping centers, etc. seem to disappear within days. It is sad that Democrats are censoring Republican candidates. Can you imagine how vengeful they would be if they should win?
